Breakfast was really great.

Gas geyser was a problem, the water kept getting cold after a few seconds in the shower. Had to keep switching it on and off.

Overall the property was fine, no major problems

No Uitlyk Tv Chanel 144 DSTV. Although I was told you could stream DSTV that was it so easy as I did not have my laptop with me. Gas geyser major problem, the theory of operating with the cold water tap to regulate while the hot water tap is open, didn’t work.6.5

The location was very good and safe. The facilities were excellent. And the breakfast was wonderful.

The pathway from the front door to parking could be better lit.

We have stayed at Vanilla several times. Very good breakfast, location and staff. Will definitely go back.

We had problems with the shower. Gas was finished so.no hot water to shower. We couldn't teach anyone as it was late. But at 0430am they fixed the problem and we were able to shower in the morning. Master bed matrass needs replacing.

Very nice experience overall. The place itself is quite good, with a great location in a safe and secure environment. The people were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special thanks to the owner, Sonja, and the wonderful team working there — your hospitality made the experience even better. Highly recommended!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing and the fact that I was asked prior for Sonja to prepare special meal for religious reasons was absolute bliss. The location is close to almost everything and 3km from a 24 hours car wash.

Location was great, as I needed to be near family. Rooms were clean. Parking was not a problem It was quiet.

Breakfasts were definitely a hit and miss option. We were told on Monday that there was no gas, and that "they" were waiting for it to be changed over, after waiting over 15 mins, with no communication we guessed it was not going to happen. and so we left. We tried to communicate that to one of the staff, but I was not 100% sure it was understood. There is no lights left on, when you come back at night, that was very frustrating. Communication with the staff was quite difficult. It appeared that we were the only guests for most of our stay.

Mavis is love and very helpful. Gas geyser needs to be updated or replaced. Water is either boiling or switches off. We have stayed with you 3 times. Lovely accommodation location and facilities. Only problem was showering. Our daughter was in room 6 and also had problems with the shower

Serenity at it's best. Everything is thought out like electric blanks in your bed. It's super clean and fresh everyday. Information is on the walls for facilities.

Tip: Upon guests' arrival after 8pm, could the rooms be warmed up before arrival. The room was cold, but the aircon did work and heated the room relatively quickly.

Great Location fit for our purpose. We went to the nearby Church. Me & my mom loved the rooms. Warm, beds fitted with, electric bankets. There is a park close by for afternoon walks. Breakfast was superb. Fresh mushrooms.

Air-conditioners sound from the other rooms making noise. Guests must be advised to switch off Air conditioning after 22:00pm. The rooms are warm enough with electric blankets.

Please serve the breakfast on heated plates. As it is winter the food gets cold so fast.

The gas geyser shower. I really struggled with it even after reading the instructions on the wall. Either cold or burning hot. Maybe just better lights on the pathway around the house at night. But other than these fantastic overall.

Location suited us perfectly as we were close to family and friends but also useful for Joburg airports and northern suburbs

Location was perfect for our purposes to visit certain businesses and family and friends. The setting was serene and well catered for our needs. Staff were pleasant and very accommodating with a request for vegetarian breakfast.

Most amenities were available and very comfortable. One room had issues with the toilet cistern and that was addressed promptly. The only thing missing was hangers to hang clothing - that can be resolved with ease - thankfully we didn't really need hangers on this trip since we were not attending a wedding or formal functions.

Serene, beautiful property! Rooms were spacious, clean and had all necessary amenities. We will definitely be staying here again. Breakfast was delicious as well. Staff was kind and extremely helpful. Property is located in safe secure area, and well monitored. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Thank you

The property is clean neat and tidy and very well maintained. I like the addition of the Swimming Pool for those hot summer days. The breakfast is served on time and very tasty.

Breakfast was good though the menu on offer needs more variety if someone is staying longer eg include crossaints, muffins, crepes every other day. Location was in a safe neighborhood though one needs transport to go to any of the shops. Pleasant and discreet staff. Owner was responsive to all emails in good time. Flexible with check out times. Had good aircon, nice little fridge provided in rooms.

Travelled with a baby hence the room needed a frequent touch up - no mops left nearby, regular linen change when spilt, move up breakfast time to 1000hrs for guests who are on holiday and trying to relax.

The place is exactly as what is on the pictures, their rooms are big and very neat. Their staff very welcoming. Everything was perfect. We had a very nice stay.

Great breakfast and the beds were very comfortable. The guesthouse was nestled in a quiet neighbourhood and felt like an escape from the busy city.

I liked how clean it was. The staff was friendly as well.

There was no water in the room, also no water at breakfast.
