Villa d'Irene

George was attentive, hospitable and so friendly. His family run the business and we felt very well taken care of! Highly recommend

Pool good Parking i didn’t have a car Good spot to go to the airport next day Restaurant recommend was great Would want to stay there too many days

Theo and Yoda were wonderful hosts. We arrived several hours before check-in and they welcomed us into their home which is part of the B&B. They took care of our luggage and Theo drove us into town.

From the moment we booked our room, this is a class act family business! The transport arrangements, facilities and friendly welcoming family sure made us regret that we didn’t have more days to spend here. So kind, thoughtful and gracious. Par excellence!

Very nice facility with a salt pool. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to the beech is a bonus. They provided transportation to the airport for a reasonable fee. It was the quietest place we slept at in Greece also. Perfect before our long journey home.

Great stay, brilliant room with plenty of space and what a magnificent view of the sunrise in the morning. Good coffee and a good location, felt very safe, pool is great and the hosts are so kind.

It’s a house not a hotel.

Excellent property

The owners of the property are wonderful. They made themselves available for any questions and helped us out with our transportation needs. I would highly recommend this property. Especially for the price offered. Close to the beach. No fees for chairs on the beach. Excellent.

Beutiful Villa in Artemida (only 15 miles from airport) with pool and nice hospitable owner. George pic up us from Athens Airport and took us back to depart .He also arrange free pickup to fantastic restaurant ARHONTIKO with authentic Greek food at reasonable price.

It was a very short stay and the host provided prompt transport to and from the airport and the studio was very clean. Would highly recommend.

George and Theo were lovely and very helpful!

Local facilities all within walking distance, including a nice beech and restraunts, and only 10 minutes drive from the airport.

Exceptional hosts—friendly, accommodating, and spoke fluent English. Very nice room. Very safe. Only drawback was I let hot water run for a few minutes as instructed, but water never got hot—took a semi cold shower. I don’t know if other guests depleted hot water supply that morning. Would stay there again.

Great place and good people! Picked me up and dropped me off at airport last minute ( tell them ahead of time please ) . They have a fantastic butcher shop across the street and in walking distance to nice beaches! The pool was amazing and they were very friendly! I would recommend this place for a nice vacation can accommodate a family and multiple people with ease!

The best place we ever stayed in Athens ! So nice people! Welcoming! Children friendly, clean renovated nice view great food options! Pleasant ppl!

Very pretty villa right near the beach. Fantastic restaurants are close.

all was perfect, we stayed one night prior to our flight and used the shuttle offered at an affordable price for coming and going to the airport. the place is clean, pool is great. thanks for the gift!

I wish we could’ve stayed here longer! Bookmarking this lovely place for hopefully a return trip in the future. Very spacious,m and clean. Beach close by, but a very deep pool is also available. Run by an amazing friendly family. George picked us up from the Port and drove us through town to familiarize ourselves, and then drove us to the airport the following day. Made arrangements for us at the local restaurant too. Just above and beyond! Can’t say enough good things about Villa d’Irene.

The property was lovely and a great place to settle in after a long day of traveling. The hosts were kind, accommodating, and communicative. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to return!

Great service! Friendly and knowledgeable. Loved it!

Can’t find friendlier people in all the world! Great stay!

Our stay at the Villa was amazing! The

The property is very well taken care of the suite was very clean and updated… I would recommend this place for a family of couples… the owner and his family are so welcoming and friendly…. I wish we could of stayed longer

The apartment is owned by a family and run very informally. They do not accept credit card payments for the tourist tax. Their “transfer service” to the airport is one of the family members driving, and they do not accept credit card payments. If your goal is to be able to sleep several people in a single space for relatively cheap (near the airport), then it is worth staying. Otherwise, this property was not worth it.

Had a wonderful timd. Theologus who manages the prorperty had everything ready for me after a transtlantic flight. Property is walkable to small quiet neighborhood beaches. If you need a lift to airport Theologus will help set it up for cheaper fee than uber.

Great Recommending

The property was amazing - beautiful and so very spacious! Easy walk to the beach- wonderful food nearby - we had a car - very easy parking - very gracious host!! Enjoyed every minute of our last night in Greece!

Gorgeous views of the city, lovely home, very clean and great servicw

Amazing and Great Location. Very clean and Comfortable. Would stay there again and recommend to anyone.

Theologos was extremely kind and hospitable. Location is great for a night before heading to the airport. Close to a private beach and the property has a very nice pool as well! Would definitely come back!

This was a fabulous experience First time I have travelled to this part of Greece. Theologos was in constant contact from my reservation to directions for transportation or pickup at my final destination. Kind, caring and warm greetings, feeling like family. Comfortable stay, very clean and peaceful! The town resembles a beach island community. I would have loved to stay longer to embrace the family community hospitality and it’s beautiful community surrounding areas.

It is a beautiful property. Close to a lovely bakery and fruit shop. Walking distance to the beach and a mile from many restaurants. The host was lovely and greeted us warmly. Even drove us to the airport at 4:30 am. The only negative would be that the beds were not comfortable and need to be updated

The host are amazing. Beautiful piece to stay and very accommodating. Will get this place again when we come back

We were treated so well by the owners of this property. Theo was in contact right from the day we booked and his son George picked us up from the airport and took us back. He also arranged for our dinner at a fabulous local restaurant and the shuttle to take us there and back. On our way to the airport George stopped at a local bakery so we could get fresh and delicious baked goods and coffee. I didnt have time to enjoy the pool at the property but it looked very inviting. The property is very clean and comfortable. If we head to Athens again this will be our first choice for accommodations.

Villa d'Irene was a wonderful option for an overnight stay near the Athens airport. George made the pick up and drop off at the airport very easy, the room was very comfortable and the pool was absolutely wonderful after a long day of travelling. I expect that I will stay here again on future trips to Greece.

A lovely place. Good people.

The swimming pool was beautiful and clean. We only stayed for a night so we really didn’t get to use it much. Father and son were very helpful and nice. Thank you!

unique property with great hosts!

Theologos and his family are incredible hosts. Never overbearing but very helpful with tips and recommendations, all while being so friendly. We were very pleasantly surprised with the amount of space the room offered as well, and the pool came in very handy on a hot day. Highly recommend Villa d’Irene

L’accueil était excellent, les membres de la famille qui nous ont accueilli sont adorables , nous avons adoré la villa, cette dernière est à 400 m d’une plage

Property is in a quiet neighborhood, well taken off. Property owners were very pleasant and willing to help whatever my needs were. They even give rides to where I needed to go and suggested places to dine. Walkable to beach and mini market. My Studio Villa was Hugh with large balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea. I strongly recommend this property and if I travel to Athen Greece again, I will be staying at Villa D’Irene.

The pool is fabulous. The owners are so hospitable and welcoming. He picked us up from the airport, recommended a nearby restaurant, coffee shop and bakery. There’s a beach nearby. The rooms are safe and comfortable.

Perfect place with awesome service.

Very nice. Theologies was very helpful.

Very quiet location close to airport. Easy walk to the beach, to restaurants and grocery. Air conditioner worked great! Beautiful swimming pool. Theo was a great host who responded quickly to any questions or requests we had. I would recommend this Villa and most likely will stay again for future visits to Athens.

Tout est parfais l'acceuil, le serice et la qualité de la chambre.

C'est pas compliqué tout est parfait, les gens sont acceuillant et aidant, chambre superbe, très propre,a 15 minutes de l'aéroport, nous y retournerions sans hésiter

Perfect location for an overnight stay. My family and I had a flight to catch in the morning and the location and space was perfect for us. There is alos a lovely swimming pool for the kids!

The hosts were so great and helped us find easy dining options with free transportation. A great place for a stopover at Athens airport.

Villa d’Irene in Athens is a family owned property situated in a small town close to the airport as well as the beach. The owner Theo is delightful, he personally took us to and from the airport (for a fee). This is an older, traditional but well maintained property. There is a beautiful outdoor swimming pool. The unit was clean and cozy, with a full kitchen, living room and a bathroom with a shower or relaxing oversized tub. There is a wonderful restaurant on the beach nearby. We enjoyed meeting and chatting with Theo. He is a very warm and hospitable host. Great ongoing communication with Theo via WhatApp.

Great place for a last night before flying home from Athens. The owner and his son were most helpful with rides to and from airport and in recommending a nearby seaside restaurant. Our unit was large, homey and comfortable. Recommend it.

Family was great getting us situated I. The eve bug when we got there and recommended late night restaurant. Was close and convenient to the airport which is one of the reasons we picked it but also because it was beautiful and had coffee the last morning on our way to airport on balcony with sunrise. Only feedback which really they have no control of is there were noisy dogs in the neighborhood but again we all have those neighbors soo would not keep me from staying again. Bakery they recommended in the morning on way to airport was fantastic. We miss Greece already thanks for being a part of our experience. Thank you George and your father.

Great place for a quick overnight between flights. Hosts were wonderful. Only complaint is the dogs barking all night outside.

Exceptional place with a great view. Will definitely come back! Highly recommended

The apartment had beautiful and quality furniture The owners were soooo nice and accomodating

Great accommodations after our long flight from California to transition to the new time zone. Great local eats, nice views of the sea and great host!

The owners were very helpful and accommodating. They provided transfers to and from the airport and also to an excellent nearby restaurant . Chosen originally for its proximity to Athens airport, we were pleasantly surprised by the nearby, walkable sandy beach, the spaciousness of our apartment and a great pool.

Great spot for overnighting in Athens. Big room nice relaxing space. Located in a small beach holiday area Transfer service with great communications

Very friendly owner, who made sure we were comfortable and knew where everything was. Ride from/to airport was convenient and relatively inexpensive.

Airport pick up and drop off friendly and efficient, done by family ,had to pay but probably cheaper than a taxi. Amazing Apt. 2 bedrooms large lounge, ornate furnishings and full kitchen, including microwave. Was an offer to drive us to a restaurant but we bought food at local shop and bakery.Enjoyed some home cooking after several weeks traveling .Would definitely stay again next time in Athens, enjoyed swim in great saltwater pool.

As a single woman traveling alone, it was extremely convenient to get off of the plane with instruction on my What’s App as to what I needed to do next. I called George, and he picked me up and gave me a mini tour of the area (how to get to the beach, where the pastry shop was, etc.) Arranged for a dreiver to pick me up from a local restaurant on the beach. amazing!!!I would highly recommend this place for any future travel.

The accommodations were very nice and comfortable although lacking a few basic items such as wash cloths (face cloths), hand towels, etc. Very small "kitchen" area, not really sufficient for food preparation. All in all, I enjoyed my overnight stay there.

We had an amazing stay at Villa d’Irene! The hosts are personable and flexible, they solved some big time issues we had with our departure. We love the location near the beach. The room was nice and it was clean! There’s so much to do in the area, this would be a great place to return for a relaxing vacation!

I love thé view from the balcony, the sounds of the birds, the walk to the beach, the local cafes in walking distance and most of all, the very loving and helpful hosts. I feel like I’m in a dream staying in this villa. Wow!!

The staff was great! Super helpful and kind people!

One night at this quiet property was perfect for me, easy walk to nearby bakery and the beach. George was a great host and highly recommend this property and use of the shuttle service to/from airport.

IBeautiful suite and beautiful views. Extremely pleased with everything!

Exceptional host making everything easy and convenient and efficient

About 20K from the airport, seaside villa. The apartment was huge! Theo, the owner picked us up from the airport and took us back the next morning for a total of 50 euros. Wish we had longer to enjoy the area. Ate dinner at a wonderful seaside restaurant that Theo booked a ride there and back for us.

Beautiful property close to airport and walkable distance from the beach. So nice and clean! Thanks to Theologos for his kind hospitality :) He made us feel so welcome, like at home. Offered transfer services to and from airport and around city and some sightseeing tips. Would definitely come back

This is one of my favorite places! I would come back over and over again! Private beach and the most amazing family it’s beautifully decorated, and you can tell very loved for. What an amazing adventure. This place was.

The owners are so nice and helpful. Near the airport they even picked us up. Recommend you stay here!!!!

Theo is amazing, the home is beautiful, the pool is gorgeous although it was too cold for me to swim in this time of year (I am a florida girl and used to 87 degree pools 😊). Theo picked us up from Athens, dropped us at the most amazimg beach restaurant in his little town - literally maybe 15 feet from the beach, swt up transportation back to his home, took us to Poisidon's temple the next day then took us to the airport the next day. The level of service he provided was outstanding. It was a quick little 2 night stay at the beach but looking forward to coming back. Thank you Theo!!!

Enjoyed sitting out on the balcony

Great place

The Villa was great, very clean, close to the airport, and easy to find. The owner was extremely nice, communicative, and helpful. He waited up for us when our flight was delayed, turned on the heater ahead of time to get the room ready for us, and took us back to the airport first thing in the morning. The cost was only 20 Euros, about the same as a taxi. Very reasonable pricing and exactly what we needed during our short layover!

I had the best experience ever. I had the opportunity to know the most wonderful person in Athens. I was robbed of all my belongings but the owner Theo helped me in the best way possible. I recommend this place to anyone who needs a place to feel secure and well taken care of. The place was simple, clean and beautiful. You can even have extra persons for the price. I was delighted to be lucky enough to have rented the place. I recommend it 💯

We had a wonderful stay! The host is super friendly and gave us great restaurant recommendations. We would definitely come back.

It was easy to find, close to the airport, lots of room for parking, and the hosts were very welcoming.

I missed the cancellation by a matter of hours due to a misunderstanding. This property stated I could cancel by certain date. There was an additional clause of time to cancel by. Regardless I asked for forgiveness immediately, leaving weeks for the property to rebook. They waited until morning of to call and say they disagree and wanted me to cancel if I wasn’t coming.

Stayed one night before catching a flight. Our room was large and had a great patio with a view of the sea. We were dropped off at a great restaurant next to the ocean with amazing food and service, then they picked us up. Hosts were very kind. Unfortunately no restaurants within walking distance. Bakery about a 1/4 mile walk. Great place for someone wanting to relax by the sea or overnight before flight.

Excellent and most friendly and helpful staff, could not be more pleased

I love the place. It was a short stay because I needed something close to the airport, but I regret not to stay longer, the place is Away from the crowds VERY local, and there is a bakery near there with fresh and DELICIOUS food. Everything was perfect and clean! And the owners are very friendly! They really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay at Villa d'Irene. The owners are wonderful hosts. We enjoyed swimming in the pool and walking to the beach. The area is very quiet and peaceful.

The hosts were so accommodating. They provided transportation to and from the airport. Also shared some dessert with me when I arrived! Very nice people! Very cute space!

The most friendly host ever. Highly recommended for authentic experience in Greece

Just one night, but very nice place.

A wonderful place to stay. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer. The hosts were great and very responsive. House is beautiful and a beach is a short walk. The two patios offered a fantastic view.

George picked me up and dropped me back off at the airport. It was veryclean and neat. Short distance to many things!! Was a great pla e to stay! Very nice host!

Great experience. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful. They we able to provide transportation to/from ferry and airport & also drove me to a great local restaurant per their recommendation. Will definitely be back!

Really kind hosts picked us up from the airport, drive us over, showed us the neighbourhood and reccomended us somewhere to eat. we had a walk to the beach and along to a restaurant for dinner. Ideal for overnight stays but I think you;d be comfortable for longer as well.

I really enjoyed my stay. It had a very homely feel to it too.

I highly recommend. This is a family business and family friendly.

We highly recommend this family-run lodging. They contacted us a week ahead of our stay and followed up on all our questions. The family provided our transfers from Athens and our transfer to the airport at a cost that was less than taxi fares, AND saved us about $80 on an excursion we were planning to take the day of our check in. If anyone wants the experience of the real Greece, you can't beat Villa d'Irene.

Very kind/ sweet family

Great 2 night stay. Hosts are kind & welcoming. Room very clean. Short 20 min drive to airport. Short 15 min walk to Davis beach, which is not fantastic, but ok for a last dip in sea. Nice bakery & coffee shop in 5-7 min walking distance for breakfast, on main road and to the left. Parking on street outside the gate of property. Nice pool available for a swim.

We loved our stay at this villa first of all because it helped us even more to get to know Greece after the 7 days cruise. We just spend one day before flying home but it was one of the most memorable ones! Theo took us from the cruise port to the airport, where we had to take a Covid test and then to his villa, where he introduced us to his wife. They made us a delicious Greek coffee and accommodated us by the pool, showed around and we had an interesting conversations while waited for our early check in. After we got in our huge studio with kitchenette, bathroom, balcony with the see view and the entrance to the roof top Theo took us to local family restaurant right by the sea, where we had the most amazing and inexpensive meal surrounded by locals. Then we took a nice walk on the beach, had a swim and owner's son took us back to the villa. They recommended us a bakery right around the corner, where we bought pastries for breakfast next morning before Theo took us to the airport. No chain hotel could provide us with such a personable experience.

Wonder

This property is more than amazing! Theologus and Yoddah have built the perfect experience in an already perfect place! We had an incredibly relaxing stay here in mid-September 2020. This is a luxury property through and through. The views from both porches are insanely beautiful. The finishes in the unit are exactly what you would hope for. And, the hosts are the best ever. Greece is overwhelming in its hospitality but this couple takes it to another level. You cannot help but love them and the property. We will be back for sure! Efcharisto and Bravo!
