Beautiful clean homely rooms, beds were really comfortable. Really quiet and had an amazing sleep! Breakfast was lovely and the staff were attentive of a morning!

Lack of interaction/front of house was new to us and not sure we were keen on the set up of it. Rooms were really hot even with the use of the fan.

Only a tiny thing. A lot of light comes through the windows at night I appreciate the windows are all shaped but our room was opposite a “take away” with bright lights flashing That said I would stay again

Our room had no window, so there was neither light nor air.

Despite the very hot weather, the room was comfortable as every effort had been made to cool down the room. There was a choice of breakfast, which was made with high quality ingredients and delicious.

Every bit was perfect 👌. Host thought about every little detail.

Because it's in the city centre and across from the pub, it was a bit noisy.

This place does not miss a single detail. It honestly goes beyond my expectations, and the owner made sure I arrived and had all I needed. Highly recommended.

It is more of a boutique hotel than a B&B. Very well presented with attention to detail. We think it was one, if not the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Spotlessly clean.

I stayed here during hot weather and the room was lovely and cool when I arrived. There was also a half strawberry and some chocolate to eat. These made all the difference after a long, hot day.

Description of how to access the property's parking space was long and complicated. It could have started by saying the road name and that the space was within a private parking area opposite an accountancy firm. Then the map link and long description. That would have been clearer.

Central location, free parking, nice room

Lots of stairs (some small) to access the top floor room. Bed was too soft for my liking. Can't control the hot weather but even with fans etc it was still hot. Opening the windows produced some road/street noise.

Lovely clean and tidy room

Location, the town is very tired and our bedroom was opposite the sports bar. We had very little sleep due to noise, not good.

We had a delightful spacious double aspect room with everything you might require for your stay. Excellent breakfast. Warm and accommodating staff.

Although a good location for mid wales the town is sadly tired and without character

Car parking guidance seemed overly complicated. We drove to the property, spoke to the owner and parked where she normally parks, otherwise would probably used the nearest public car park.

Location in Newtown town centre, close to shops and restaurants - excellent Thai restaurant nearby. Room and facilities all excellent. Staff friendly and excellent breakfast.

Not easy to know where to park, despite instructions. We were in room 8 at the top of 2 flights of twisty stairs - not easy with a big case or if you're elderly. Ask for a ground floor room.

The room was lovely and spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable, had a great night's sleep. Everything was immaculate. The breakfast was delicious and Tina the host was extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

It’s absolutely stunning - this is a return visit. All the rooms are slightly different and the beds are so so comfortable. They should sell their pillows - they are divine!

The attention to detail on everything. Tea and coffee facilities available, small fridge with fresh milk (and also a selection of other milks available - such as oat milk).

Cleanliness was second to none as well as the comfort of the rooms. Spacious / comfortable bed, good quality furniture and bathroom was nicely decorated with shampoo / conditioner / body soap available.

Clean, tidy, well presented, quality extras and decor. Room 6 was a fantastic room, only disappointed by the late night outside activity. Not complaining as it’s a town centre location. Would stay again, just request a room at the back.

Ventilation, temp- unluckily it just happened to be a really hot day/night. Even with window open ot was uncomfortable. With window open pigeons, seagulls noise, bells made for a poor night's sleep.

The quality was amazing - Egyptian cotton bed sheets and quality towels. The room itself was very posh with oak furniture. It was spotless, even the paint job on the walls looked fresh. I liked the self serve, we were given codes to access the private parking and entrance. Was so easy. Breakfast was excellent and quality standard.

The room was lovely, although a touch warm - we changed the duvet to a lighter weight one stored in the wardrobe! All the tiny details were lovely and the breakfast was gorgeous!

A bigger fan in the room would have been useful but thats being really picky. We're great tea and coffee drinkers so more ordinary milk would he been useful, but again thats being really picky. It was a lovely place to stay

Breakfast was excellent. Everything was set out lovely, was very impressed, one of the best places we have stayed in. The PARKERS B@ B is in the center of town.

The instructions on gaining entry were clear and concise. The Room was really clean, and well laid out, apart for the full length mirror (according to my good lady!!)

We were initially confused as to where the Bathroom Towels were, but My Partner found them (under the Sink) before I managed to contact the central number! Breakfast finished so relatively early on the Sunday (09:30hrs), We missed it, as thought it was 11:00 🤔

Friendly, efficient staff. Private secure parking available. Beautiful room - spotless and comfortable. Tea, coffee, water provided and a few little treats too! Great location for our needs. Excellent breakfast included. Thank you to all the team! Highly recommend.

Very steep stairs

It was extremely clean, well decorated and near everything. Stores, restaurants and shops all just minutes away.

My only comment would be that I travel constantly and this is my first experience in my life of having the owner tell you that can’t eat in the room!! I mean come on, take a refundable deposit if it’s that big of a concern. Haven’t even heard of someone doing this since the 50’s when there were the old boarding houses that didn’t allow cooking or women. Sorry but a huge turn off at £165 for a night.

Room was really hot and noisy outside. No food allowed to eat in room so I ate in breakfast room which just felt a bit weird and unwelcoming. I left my AirPods, I realised this around 2pm the day I left and was relieved to find out they had them but I did wonder why they hadn’t dropped me a text to let me know they had them given that they aren’t cheap! They agreed to post them if I paid for postage but wouldn’t post until I’d paid. I agreed straight away even though I thought it was a bit tight of them to insist on getting £5 from me first before posting them given I emphasised I was keen them to get them back quickly and I’d already spent £111 to stay there! They ignored my messages when I asked how they would like me to pay for postage. After chasing over a few days, asking when they could post them I gave up and drove to go get them, taking a significant diversion to do so. Got my item back but just didn’t fit with their image of nice personal touch.

The room was lovely and cosy - the bed was very comfortable! I had the best nights sleep in ages and didn’t want to get out of the bed. Lots of nice little touches, little treats plate on arrival and a wide variety of tea and coffee. A mini fridge for the milk and I have never stayed in a hotel that also supplies different milk alternatives in the room too.
