El desayuno incluido significa hacerte tú el desayuno. Había overbooking en la cocina. Zumos y huevos los iban sacando a cuentagotas. El horario del desayuno solo era de 7'30 a 9. Si estoy de vacaciones no es mi intención levantarme temprano para desayunar. Si lo alargarán hasta las 10 de la mañana sería más lógico.

Reviewed Aug 3, 2026I had a 1st floor/ground floor room, advertised with garden view. It was absolutely perfect, huge balcony, beautiful plants, could still see the sea. Simple but good breakfast, amazing location. the swimming area within 3 minute walk had loads of fish and was great snorkelling. Loved everything about it. They gave you a very handy map with restaurant suggestions nearby.
Beds very very firm, but that is very common in Korea. All the local restaurants had early closing times, but this is no reflection on the property.

The bathroom was large and the shower separate from the sink and toilet (which is not common in Korea), but no glaswall or shower curtains. The neighbourhood is very quiet and there are several restaurants nearby.
It was fun to prepare/cook our breakfast (eggs) in the common kitchen, but it was surprising, that we had to clean up and do the dishes. The guesthouse is in a very quiet area but you can hear other guests very well, which was not very comfortable. If you love curtains with stars punched out (looks like stars on the room wall at night), you need to be comfortable with sunlight early in the morning. There is no elevator, however this is clearly communicated. Access to the parking area is narrow.

Reviewed May 28, 2026The view was great, stuff nice and welcoming. Nice lounge with possibility to cook. It's an old school korean guesthouse, so perfect if you are looking for the authentic vibe. Overall an okay accommodation, especially if you are spending the whole day out and about.
The gesthouse has seen better days and could use some renovations. The room was quite humid. We are 90% sure that there was some mold in the room/bathroom, so keep it in mind especially if you have mold allergy.

Reviewed Apr 17, 2026The hotel is located outside the city, but there is a bus stop just 2 minutes away, and from there you can basically get anywhere, so you don’t really need a car. The rooms were large and spacious, with a great big terrace and a nice view. The breakfast is a bit unusual. They provide you with the ingredients, but you have to prepare it yourself. We stayed for 3 nights, and each day it was juice, toast, an egg, and jam. It’s quite simple—some fruit or vegetables would definitely be a welcome addition—but for the price, it was acceptable.

I enjoyed having morning toast in the beautiful common area/loungeroom. The owners were also so incredibly helpful, friendly and kind. It was such a pleasure meeting them.

Reviewed Dec 15, 2025Das Gästehaus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohnviertel. Cafés, Restaurants und Mini-Märkte sind in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen. Zum Beophwan Hafen und zum Küstenwanderweg läuft man fünf Minuten. Es lohnt sich unbedingt, einen Tag (oder mindestens einen halben) in dem wirklich idyllischen Ort Beophwan zu verbringen. Dabei ist das kleine Fischrestaurant direkt unten an der Promenade uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten (Seogwipo und Jungmun) gelangt man mit dem Bus. Mit dem Auto ist man je nach Ziel in 10 Minuten (Seogwipo) bis 30 Minuten (Jungmun) dort. Mein Zimmer war sehr sauber, gemütlich und mit einem großen Balkon ausgestattet, von dem aus ich einen sehr schönen Blick auf die Küste und die davor gelagerte kleine Insel hatte. Der Gemeinschaftsraum mit der Küche war gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück bereitete man sich dort selbst zu. Die Zutaten (Eier, Toastbrot, Butter, Marmelade, Tee, Säfte und Kaffee) standen in ausreichender Menge bereit. Der Gastgeber war stets vor Ort und bei Fragen jederzeit behilflich. Die Frühstückszeit war eine gute Gelegenheit, sich mit anderen Gästen auszutauschen. Die Waschmaschine funktionierte sehr gut und schnell. Es gab zwar keinen Trockner, aber einen Wäscheständer. Damit war auf dem Balkon alles nach drei bis vier Stunden trocken. Ich würde dieses Gästehaus in jedem Fall wieder buchen.

Reviewed Oct 7, 2025I spent 6 nights at Galeum guesthouse and I loved my stay there! The room was clean and spacious and the view from the big balcony is amazing, especially during sunset! The owner is also very kind! It is possible to wash your clothes for free and since the room has a big private balcony you can airdry your clothes there. What's more, every door in the house has a cute design of a person and a name on it and what made me feel extra special was that my room actually had my name on it - correct spelling and all.
As others have said, the bed is very hard. But it doesn't deter from a great stay! I will definitely stay here again if I ever have the chance to visit Jeju again.

A bit outside Seogwipo but easily accesible by bus - beautiful views, quiet neighbourhood and close to a delicious bakery (Damian!). The owners seem to have thought about everything you could possibly need. You can use the washing machine free of charge as well!

없어요! 문에 무늬없는 시트지로 붙여 꾸미면 더 고급스러울 것 닽아요. 조식을 냉장고에서 그냥 꺼내 먹는 형식이 된다면 게스트와 주인 모두 편할 것 같습니다 :)
