Khunyuam Resort

The view was exceptional and the owner was very nice, welcoming and helpful. The room was big and we could enjoy the big balcony.

Everything was great, except we had a lot of bugs in the room. On the bed and floors. We know it’s nature but it was a bit too much in the night. Other than that, we enjoyed every second and fully recommend.

The hotel has a rustic charm that is perfectly dated. Meaning, it’s older but it works BEAUTIFULLY. I arrived and thought I upgraded to one of the detached houses. Confused at first and a lil let down as I thought I would miss out on the view. The owner walked me to my room and said I could upgrade if I wanted to. However, once I walked into the room, and saw the view, I melted. Quiet night. Beautiful peaceful morning. Be mindful, the road to get to the hotel is dirt and not paved so be careful with motorbike. Overall, amazing stay.

Muddy road, might be a problem in rainy days, although we managed it with a Civic.

Lovely, quiet, rural place with excellent nature view. Relaxing to watch the view from your private terrace. The rooms are pretty basic but clean and decent for travellers. The owner is super friendly and helpful. We stayed there with our two teenage kids and had adjacent rooms, worked out perfect for us.

An absolute hidden gem on the Mae Hong Son Loop! The location of Khunyuam Resort is simply breathtaking - peaceful, surrounded by nature, and offering stunning views of the mountains and countryside. Waking up to such a beautiful landscape every morning was one of the highlights of our trip. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, were the incredible hosts. They are among the kindest, warmest, and most welcoming people we have ever met. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel at home and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The rooms are comfortable and the atmosphere is relaxing. If you're looking for a place with amazing views, a perfect location, and genuine Thai hospitality, this is it. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Breakfast was nice.

The hot water in my room didn't work, I think the gas had run out. A noisy guest arrived during the night and woke me up, not the resorts fault. Some people are inconsiderate.

The owner of the hotel is incredibly warm and kind, and I highly recommend this place to everyone. Despite our late arrival, we were greeted right at the car — they showed us everything, walked us to our room, opened the door, and the next day they served us breakfast, treated us to fruit, chatted with us, and more. I give them the highest score and strongly recommend this person, and I wish them all the best. As for the hotel itself — it's a quiet, cozy spot, slightly on the outskirts, with a stunning view of the valley from the balcony. The room is standard but has everything you need. The furniture and beds are solid wood. Right near the hotel, for the first time in my life, I saw fireflies!

Prachtige kamer met heerlijk uitzicht. We hadden lekker ontbijt en avondeten hier, de eigenaren zijn zo lief en meedenkend! Absoluut een aanrader.

Amazing host! We did the Mae Hong Son motorcycle loop and had a little emergency during the day and arrived after 21:00. The Hotel restaurant was "closed" by the opening times, but the host asked if we had any dinner yet and if we we're hungry. They opened the whole thing for us and we could order anything we wanted. The food, smoothies we're great! Also we had breakfast at the morning which was amazing aswell. The road there is a bit muddy, but no issues if you are already riding the loop. The view is also nice, very happy with the stay.

The room and view was spectacular with a tranquil bathroom.

Unfortunately the power kept going out and the breakfast area had lots if ants on everything and needed an update.

The accommodation was clean and the view was fabulous. The food is homely. The guy who runs the place is so lovely.

Set atop a hill, the rooms are beautifully decorated and provide the most spectacular views of the sun rising over Thailand. We had booked both upper rooms and would have loved to stay at least one more night!

Just amazing. The view is insane! We had the first and the second floor so the complete house and the experience was so unique. Great host with all kind of food and homemade vegetables and fruits.

Nous y avons passé une seule nuit, nous aurions aimé rester une nuit supplémentaire tant le cadre est agréable et les hôtes chaleureux. Nous y avons pris notre dîner et petit déjeuner, parfait !

Ruhig wenn man ruhige Nachbarn hat (bei uns nicht der Fall) aber man hört keine Autos oder Ähnliches Durchschnittliche Unterkunft auf dem Loop.

100% recommended; the owners are super kind and always available; we had a problem with the water heater and they fixed it in 10mins, the view is amazing on the fields&mountains, they give free simple breakfast (coffee, fruits, toasts with jam/pb), the rooms are very good and have AC/television/good wifi and it's well decorated, there's a restaurant on site with good local food, it's located a bit out of the city where it's more quiet

The view is absolutely perfect - in evenings u can watch mountains go to sleep, whereas in the morning the sunlit slowly through the fog. And u can have breakfast (or dinner) with all this view. They even have a mini walking path that was all decorated and goes straight into the fog. The staff is suuuper friendly, talks English and actually cares that you enjoy your stay. Recommended really nice places to visit in the town.

Absolut großartiges Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, tolles Zimmer, unbeschreiblich schöne Aussicht und ein überraschendes Frühstücksbuffet mit ebenfalls großartigem Ambiente. Auch der Besitzer ist sehr freundlich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

This was a great spot along the Mae Hong Son loop. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was a nice buffet, with plenty of options. We had a nice view out of the window and the balcony was great.

Just a note: to get here, you have to take some dirt roads. It wasn't an issue for us.

Für unseren zweiten Stop für unsere Mea Hong Son Loop Tour, war diese Unterkunft für Preis Leistung Top! Der Besitzer ist super nett, man bekommt ein großes Bett und einen schönen Balkon mit toller Aussicht! Welche man auch beim Frühstück bestaunen konnte, wenn sich der Nebel gelegt hat. Die Ausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, für eine Nacht und einen Tag hat es aber gereicht. in ca. 5 Minuten ist man auch mit dem Roller in der kleinen City.

Unser Bad war ständig nass wegen der Dusche die direkt neben dem WC ohne Vorhang oder Kabine zu nutzen war. Wie bereist beschrieben die Anlage und Ihre Ausstattung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, ist aber nicht arg wild. Man hört auch wirklich alle Nachbarn, also sehr hellhörig.

Le site et la vue sont justes dingues!!! Très belle chambre donnant sur une petite terrasse parfaite pour prendre une petite pause en fin de journée. Le site est très calme, à l'écart de toute nuisance, on peut s'y garer facilement. Le lit est super confortable, chambre très propre. Un grand merci à nos hôtes de nous avoir préparé le petit déjeuner (très bon, copieux et varié. Vraiment parfait!) plus tôt que l'horaire habituel afin que nous ne partions pas le ventre vide. Nous avons adoré notre séjour chez vous. Rapport qualité prix au top.

Ce n'est pas que nous n'avons pas apprécié, ce sont juste des petites remarques pour apporter un plus... - la chambre est très belle, joliment décorée. Cependant, il manque deux lampes de chevet pour avoir une lumière tamisée à la nuit tombée plutôt que la lumière plus "violente" du plafonnier. - prévoir un petit meuble dans la salle de bain pour poser nos affaires de toilette. Ça éviterait de les poser dans la chambre, ce qui n'est pas très pratique

Walked through the door to be greeted with the most phenomenal view. After being on motorbikes all day it was lovely to just relax in the restaurant with a cold beer and watch the beautiful sunset. The staff were so lovely and friendly they really looked after us well, they made delicious food and that was followed by a wonderful relaxing evening of laughter swapping stories of the MaeHongSon loop with fellow travellers.

Great location a bit outside the very nice village of Khunyuam, which has a beautiful Wat and lots of useful little shops. The view from our room was absolutely stunning. Quite good basic accommodation..

The bed was quite uncomfortable and the bathroom with its wet room was a bit leaky and rather too basic. Breakfast was ok, our host tried hard, but the food on offer for supper was extremely basic and dull. The track to the property must be very treacherous in wet weather

Von bisher 12 Unterkünften in Thailand die beste; sehr gutes Frühstück (thailändisch); wunderbare Aussischt vom Balkon;

Wir waren für eine Nacht zu Gast. Die Lageist grossartig und die Aussicht vom Balkon wirklich toll- Wir hatten ein Dreibettzimmer in der oberen Etage. Das inbegriffen Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl. Das Abendessen, welches separat gezahlt werden muss, war günstig und gut Preis-Leistungsverhältnis auf jeden Fall gut

Das Gastgeberpaar war sehr freundlich und sehr aufmerksam. Das Essen sehr gut. Die Betten bequem. Die Zimmer waren sauber.

Das Bad ist in die Jahre gekommen.

This is a gem of a place to stay! The Thai hosts are friendly and speak good English. The rooms are comfortable with superb views. The evening meals served here are delicious. The buffet breakfast is excellent. WiFi signal is strong. I would certainly stay here again!

Herrliche Aussicht, wunderbares Frühstück. Ich hatte schlimmen Husten und wurde mit gutem Ingwer-Lemon-Tee versorgt.

Stayed in the upper luxury suite, large balcony with amazing panoramic views over countryside and mountains. East facing so weather permitting can sit and watch the sunrise. Room was immaculate clean and decorated beautifully and thoughtfully. Breakfast thai style was nice.

The room did not dissapoint.

The resort is stunning! We stayed on the second floor. The view was incredible! Highly recommend to pay a bit extra for the second floor. You won’t regret it.

Nice hotel with an amazing view on the landscape. Everything was clean and breakfast was nice. Great for a one night break after driving!

Hotel and furniture are a bit old and the walls are really thin, so you may hear the room next door.

Tout! Le personnel est adorable, le petit déjeuner excellent et fait maison, la vue est sublime et les chats sont top! Les propriétaires nous ont acceptés au pied levé après un problème de moto et nous ont nourri matin et midi! La chambre était super confortable avec une belle terrasse pour profiter de la vue.

The dirt road heading up to the lodgings can be a bit tricky/ dangerous for people riding on 2 wheels.

Du clame et la tranquillité, L'endroit est joli avec la vue magnifique avec la Montagne, le lever de soleil et le brouillard d'hiver. Le petit-déjeuner était bien. Les personnels et l'accueil étaient au top.

L'hôtel a besoin un peu d'entretien et une petite rénovation surtout le plafond et la salle de bain.
