Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Ruime en zeer schone kamer en badkamer! Bij aankomst stond er een blad met van alles op voor koffie en thee ed. En een flesje witte wijn voor twee! En er was een gevulde minibar.

Reviewed Aug 7, 2026Mooi en rustig gelegen complex. De gastheer was gewoon vriendelijk maar niet hartelijk, heel zakelijk. Ruime en aangename kamer met heel comfortabele badkamer. Leuk dat er airco was. Goeie fietsenstalling. Ik verschoot dat er wel een 20-tal campers waren op het domein maar had er gelukkig totaal geen last van. Grote comfortabele keuken ter beschikking. Gevulde minibar op de kamer. Veel toeristische informatie ter beschikking.
Er waren maar 3 kamers maar had wat pech met de buren die een heel luid kind van een jaar of 5 bij hadden. Het telkens opnieuw toevallen van hun kamerdeur maakte ook veel lawaai. Jammer dat de airco na 2 dagen kapot was. Gelukkig kreeg ik wel een ventilator wat echt wel nodig was met de hete temperatuur onder het dak. Voor die prijs mocht ontbijt inbegrepen zijn vind ik wel.

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026Alles netjes en overcompleet. Vriendelijke mensen die mee denken maar ook je privacy respecteren. Geweldig uitzicht en leuke dingen voor onze kindjes om te doen. De gezamenlijke keuken is van alle gemakken voorzien. Zelfs de soep staat al voor je klaar.

Reviewed Dec 29, 2025Prachtige, rustige omgeving, heerlijk ontspannen op een super locatie. Van alle gemakken voorzien en zels aan extra's is aan gedacht. Lieve mensen, open en ontspannen sfeer. Ik en mijn dochter hebben ontzettend genoten, heel veel dank!
Niets wat te maken heeft met boerderij Hazenveld en dus de eigenaren.

If you enjoy walks and castles in the countryside this is the perfect location. Very tranquil. We walked to the nearby castle which is the largest caste in the Netherlands. We enjoyed our stay. Nice breakfast.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2025This is a quiet place. At least quiet from people, but there are animals around the farm. If you are into the camping feeling, you will love this palce. They have a lot of tools and stuff. The owner suggested a very good restaurant!
Maybe a little bit more basic ingredients for the morning routine (sugar, tea) would be appreciated for those who are not campers but regular customers.

They contacted us before our stay to welcome us; the room was ready when we arrived; the amenities were great. The hotel is very quiet and only about 2 km away from the castle. The hotel let us use their bikes to travel around the area. We enjoyed everything about our stay. Thank you Piet and Marianne!

Reviewed Apr 30, 2025The host was super friendly and gave us a warm welcome. There's a kitchen available for guests, and everything was really clean and well-kept. We couldn't get up close to the two goats in the yard, but just watching them from a distance totally made us smile. There's no elevator, but it wasn’t a problem at all. Overall, it was such a great place to stay — I'd definitely choose it again next time I visit the Netherlands. Highly recommend!

The owner was friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome. Being so close to Utrecht, it was easy to explore the city. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil place to stay near Utrecht. I’ll definitely come back!

Reviewed Jun 23, 2024We loved it! The staff is so nice and helpfull! The rooms were perfect, beds very comfy. Also the ac in the room was a nice extra! Honestly no flaws, we would deff come back here and i will recomend it to anyone looking for a nice and quiet stay with loads of nature and utrecht just around the corner. Haarzuilens is only 5 min away and the restaurants there are also amazingly priced and lots of yummy food. All in all, we had a blast and lovely nights rest there.

Very well equipped shared kitchen, with designated shelves in the fridge and freezer for each room. Lots of small freebies to make you feel welcome like free minibar and cup soup in case you arrive after the shops close. There was even a bottle of red wine waiting on the table in the room. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay again if we ever return to the Netherlands.

With the canals and open fields, it was a serene place. The compoind includes campgrounds and the campers were very quiet and respectful. Hughly recommned!

Marianne our host was very helpful and knowledgeable about places of interest nearby and further afield. Reviewed Apr 15, 2023Très bon séjour, hôte sympathique (parlant bien français). Cadre bucolique, les routes d'accès sont particulières... Le petit déjeuner est pantagruélique, les installations sont très modernes, les interrupteurs ne sont pas exactement comme en France, il faut s'y faire. Mon séjour en Avril a été parfait. Présence de nombreux animaux et de petits canaux.... je ne sais pas comment c'est en été. La fenêtre est munie d'une moustiquaire. J'ai beaucoup aimé la location, à peu près à égale distance d'Amsterdam, Rotterdam et Den Haag, près des villes de Gouda et Utrecht. Le Keukenhoff et les plages célèbres sont un peu plus éloignée mais une très grande partie sur autoroute. Bref je conseille tout à fait.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2023The thoughtfulness and kindness of our host was heartwarming. They take the time to talk to you, to guide you if you have any questions. The accommodation is incredibly clean and this makes a big difference compared to other accommodation we have tried in the past. A plus that we are not used to is that we had the right to have some refreshments in our room at our disposal (something that is becoming rare in booking hotels/gites).

Reviewed Apr 19, 2022The property is based outside of town, benefiting from the fresh air, quietness and calmness. The property is surrounded by fields, and a farm. Great for walks or time with animals. (Mainly cows) The host is very knowledgeable about Netherlands and happy to recommend accordingly to your preferences. Unlike hotels, she recommend us non-tourist locations and places for authentic and cultural rich places to visit. Breakfast were different everyday, and tailored to the season and festivals. We stayed over Easter, and we got dyed Easter Eggs for breakfast. The room was clean, with communial kitchen if needed - giving us more freedom then in a hotel to cook if needed. The property is also very family and children friendly. Highly recommended and thank you for the lovely time :)

Reviewed Sep 25, 2019This turned out to be our dream stay. Our accommodation (studio) was perfect. Clean and very comfortable. The management and staff were very welcoming and helpful. With help from our hosts we had an easy drive to the Amsterdam park and ride and a great time in the city. We also had a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant, again a recommendation from the hotel.
