Laguna Larga Lodge

La vista es Exelente, la suite es muy amplia y cuenta con una salamandra con leña que la reponen a diario. La decoración es súper calidad. La cordialidad de Andrés y el menú del chef hacen la diferencia

The property is remote and set along Laguna Larga at the top of a mountain. I loved the silence, proximity to trails in Parque Nacional de Los Alerces, and the relaxing environment. Also, there is a personal chef!

Walls of the cabin were a bit thin, and I could easily hear my neighboring visitors.

Location is fantastic with amazing views from rooms and the lodge. The rooms are very comfortable and the lodge is great. These are the key selling point of this place along with the hospitality of Andres the owner. The breakfast were good, but always the same every day.

The key downside is the uphill track to the lodge. It is possible to get up with a standard car but is not pleasant and you have to be extremely careful not to hit rocks or potholes. It takes approximately 20 minutes to drive the 6km. The 3 course evening meals were OK but with no choice, not always to our liking. More simple Argentinian food would have been preferable.

Location is great, stunning views and peaceful. Staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The lodge itself if beautiful and well taken care of. Andrea was superb, giving amazing recommendations and being super thoughtful. The chef, Marcia, was amazing and every single day we ate there we had a feast, we had a dietary require, gluten free, and they made gluten free variants of every single dish. I recommend getting there with a 4X4 as there are 4 km of mountain road, unpaved, part of the place's charm.

Wifi connection wasn't good enough. The bathroom was really cold in the morning, and it would have been great if some slippers were provided. As the rooms were connected between each other, we were able to hear their conversation. Water temperature at night was really cold.

The first thing you will like are the hosts. Andres and Gorgina make you feel home. The Lodge is extremely beatiful in every detail, very well taken care of, the meals are excellet and its location is superb in front of a secluded lake. The place is ideal if you wish to to leave the day to day craziness behind and get in touch with nature with very few (i mean VERY FEW) people around and a lot of nature. Tou can either do nothing, rest, read and contemplate the beauty of nature, or get into all levels of extremely nice hikings, some of wich only accecible by boat. I had an amazing stay at Laguna Larga Lodge. Service was outstanding and meals were excellent, I was very well taken care of, highly recommend it when visiting Los Alerces National Park.
