Très bruyant à cause de la route extrêmement passagère à toute heure du jour ou de la nuit. On entend aussi les canalisations des chambres du dessus et le couloir et l’escalier. C’est une vieille bâtisse, c’est compréhensible.

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026A lovely boutique hotel with a charming atmosphere, almost like a scene from a romantic novel. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. We also had no trouble finding a parking space. As we arrived after check-in hours, we collected the keys later, which was easy and went smoothly. I especially liked the walk-in storage area between the bedroom and the bathroom, which was very convenient for keeping our luggage. The location of the hotel is excellent, right by the sea, and the town centre is about a pleasant 15-minute walk away. Breakfast was quite basic, with toast, Nutella, jams, cheese, cold cuts, yoghurt, cereals, tea, orange juice, etc.
The room was a little dark and could use some additional lighting. Unfortunately, they had run out of baguettes at breakfast.

El cheking es en un horario muy reducido y luego te dan un código para entrar ya que no hay nadie en recepción. Aparcar es muy complicado, demasiado. No hay ascensor. El baño tenía el techo lleno dé moho. Y como no es España, pues no hay persianas. Está al otro lado de la zona de playa, hay que andar 1,5km.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Hôtel charmant, bon accueil, propreté impeccable. Les gérants sont à l'écoute, le lieu a beaucoup d'âme et une belle histoire (ancienne maternité!). La salle de bains a aussi beaucoup de charme. Nous avions une chambre de 3 donc à l'arrière mais nous avons aperçu une chambre à l'avant avec une magnifique vue sur la baie ! L'hôtel est à environ 15mn du centre de St Jean de Luz donc bien situé. Les 2-3 restos alentours sont sympas. La plage de Ciboure est juste devant et toute petite et jolie.
Les maillots avaient du mal à sécher - des emplacements pour faire sécher le linge seraient un plus.

The hotel is conveniently located with direct beach access just across the road. The centre of St Jean de Luz is an easy stroll away. Our sea-view room had excellent views onto the beach and over the bay.

Por poner algún pero.. que no hay ascensor y a la hora de subir maletas etc.. es un poco complicado. Deberían informar que la recepción tiene unas horas de llegada por si no esta dentro de tu horario que te faciliten la clave para entrar al hotel.

Al baño no le funcionó el Extractor y se acumulaba mucha humedad
