The managers gave us a warm welcome and were most helpful in introducing us to the city highlights and assisting with bags. Breakfast was excellent personal service.

Heavy footed residents in the room above were an unwelcome distraction at times.

Loved the spacious room and all of the little touches that made this stay special. Daily housekeeping, stocked fridge, treats, and of course the gourmet breakfast. Our host Mario made this a most memorable stay.

Zusammengefasst: Es war perfekt. Lage, Haus/Zimmer, Gastgeber, Frühstück alles sehr sehr gut und Parkhaus vis-a-vis.

The location was great. The breakfast was very tasty, especially the good fruit, and the wonderful fresh pastries. Our room was spacious, and bright, with a very comfortable bed. The windows and doors do an exceptional job blocking out noise from the street.

The spacious modern room was amazing. Cool AC, balcony over the street, but with the door closed there was no noise at all. Location was very near to a metro stop and the central pedestrian avenue with tons of restaurants. Host was amazing and gave us a great overview of the must-see sights.

Breakfast was very nice but not very much to choose from....eggs made to order and some breads.

Ihana butique majoitus ihan Brysselin nähtävyyksien keskiössä. Hotelli oli siisti ja tunnelmallinen. Isäntä palveli meitä kuin kuninkaallisia ja häneltä saimme paljon hyviä vinkkejä nähtävyyksiin sekä kulkemiseen julkisilla paikasta toiseen. Äärettömän siisti, muhkeat sängyt ja erinomainen aamiainen! Ilmalämpöpumppu viilensi huoneen muuten kovin helteisenä aikana.

Art de Sejour was impeccable in all regards! Mario is one of the best hosts we've had. He spent lots of time during check-in to fully describe Brussels, including places to visit, where the best views were, and restaurant recommendations. Without exaggeration, we could live in the apartment we stayed in. It was huge and had all modern amenities. The bed and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable with nice linen. Hot water was plentiful. The B & B is located close to the historic downtown and a simple, 10-15 walk from Brussels-Central train station. Hot and cold breakfast options were extensive and delicious. It's blatantly obvious that Mario takes pride in what he does. His customer service is superb!

The hotel is located on a fairly busy secondary street so we could occasionally hear the traffic.

Sentral plassering. Rommet var over all forventning, høyt under taket, svært renslig og moderne fasiliteter. Mario var svært imøtekommende og hjelpsom. Enkel, men nydelig frokost.

Ruime kamer en badkamer, heel schoon, lekkere koffie en frisdranken in de koelkast inclusief. Heerlijke matrassen en fijne stabiele airco zonder vervelende luchtstromen of geluid. Het ontbijt is fantastisch met verse croissants, broodjes en eieren naar keuze, vers fruit en yoghurt. Mario is een vriendelijke gastheer die alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd heeft.

Gastgeber Mario ist ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit (und spricht hervorragend Deutsch). Die Atmosphäre ist familiär. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut mit persönlichem Service am Tisch und nach Wunsch frischem Obstsalat, frisch zubereiteten Eiern und Beilagen. Das Superior-Zimmer hat großzügige Dimensionen, hohe Decken und ein großes Doppelbett. Die Räumlichkeiten sind ansprechend gestaltet, die Klimaanlage war auch bei 39 Grad Außentemperatur effektiv und die Fenster sind gut schallisoliert. Da es sich um einen charmanten Altbau handelt, sind die Etagen trotz Aufzug für Gehbehinderte schwierig zu erreichen (Halbe Treppe). Die Lage des Hauses ist sehr zentral für alle Unternehmungen in der Innenstadt, am Großen Markt ist man in zwei Minuten. Die Tram hält um die Ecke und erlaubt einfache Verbindungen zu den Fernbahnhöfen und zum Flughafen.

Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable with lots of light. We loved the updated bathroom and shower, and all of the amenities in the room, especially, the toiletries provided, espresso coffee machine, and refrigerator. Our room was also aesthetically pleasing and nicely decorated. We especially loved our host Mario, who made an amazing breakfast and kindly gave us a map outlining the major sights in the city upon our arrival. He was very accommodating by bringing a cold breakfast to our room on our check-out date as we had an early departure. Finally the location could not be beat - there was only a short walking distance to everything. We highly recommend Art de Sejour!

Beautiful bedroom and bath, outstanding host excellent value

This is a super chilled and extremely comfortable bed and breakfast, right in the heart of Brussels. The room was immaculate, spacious and modern, with all mod cons, a good shower and complimentary refreshments. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The accommodation is very near to the station (10 min walk) and the Grand Place and close to nice eateries and bars. Despite the location, we found our room to be very quiet at night too. Thank you Mario for the perfect stay!

Tout est parfaitement pensé et d’une grande délicatesse : la chambre est très spacieuse, confortable, décorée avec goût. Évidemment avec Climatisation. Un mini bar réapprovisionné chaque jour. Un accès internet sur Mac accessible dans la chambre. Il ne manque rien dans la salle de bain : peignoirs, accessoires… Un petit déjeuner copieux et excellent préparé individuellement et chaque matin par l’hôte de la maison. Bravo et merci pour cet accueil !

The room was comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. Not large but enough space to stretch out. Breakfast was made to order daily, with fresh fruit and bread, and a choice of yogurt/granola, ham/cheese or scrambled eggs. The location is very good - less than 10 minutes walk to Grand Place, Central Station, and the best restaurants and shopping streets. The host, Mario, is very kind and helpful.

The stairs up to the rooms are steep, and the elevator stops in-between room levels. Moving luggage to/from the room was a bit challenging.

Mario was very welcoming and the room was beautifully appointed and spacious. Great attention to detail in every aspect and a nice breakfast.

This is a “run, don’t walk” situation!! I.e. if you haven’t already booked to stay here when you are in Brussels then you had better hurry up or you will miss out on one of the best stays you will ever be lucky enough to experience! This definitely beats staying in any hotel and you will feel like you are staying with your favourite uncle! Mario (the host) has created a beautiful B & B just off the main pedestrian passage into the centre of Brussels, the rooms are spacious, immaculately clean and decorated to the highest spec. Big, comfortable bed with lovely linens; tea & coffee in room, gorgeous Loccitane toiletries and delicious breakfast made for you by Mario! We loved our stay and can’t recommend a stay here highly enough!

Mario, the host and owner was very nice, informative about the city's areas, restaurants, attractions, etc. and easily reachable by text with recommendations, etc. when needed. The room was beautifully appointed. Modern and spacious for the money. Nice fridge, free coffee, tea, water, and soda! Nice quality toiletries. You cannot beat this. Everyone else gives you two bottles of water. Towels are changed everyday. The building is a a couple of blocks away from all the popular central attractions but you wouldn't know it because it's dead quiet but not deserted that you feel unsafe at night.

Only small gripe was that the bed was a bit too firm and the pillows could've been thicker but they are not a deal breaker considering everything else.

We have stayed at quite a few B&B’s. But this one is exceptional.Mario, our host, was charming, delightful, and he made us feel like family. The room was perfect, the bed was delightful, the breakfast was delicious, and we were so comfortable there, we didn’t want to leave.

The Art de Sejours is a wonderful B&B in a great location. Mario, our host, could not have been more helpful and accommodating. When we needed help/guidance about the pending train workers' strike, Mario took the initiative to look into train schedules for us. Mario is a one-person operation--does the cooking (delicious breakfast), cleaning, reservations, greets each guest with a "sit-down" orientation to the area and explains points of interest/restaurants with a tailored map of Brussels, helps with luggage, demonstrates how the in-room coffee machine operates, helps with programming the in-room safe, etc. No stone unturned to help! The inn itself is a work of art (no pun intended); Mario bought the place, gutted it, and totally rebuilt it (mostly by himself). The detail and craftsmanship is impressive! The place also is pristine clean. Towels and amenities were refreshed each day as well. Our room was on the 1st floor and, although there is an elevator, it required either getting off on "1" and walking up a flight of narrow steps or getting off on "2" and walking down a flight of narrow steps--not a problem for us, but could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. All-in-all a wonderful place to stay; highly recommend!

We had one evening when the neighbour decided to play some very very loud music. This lasted a few hours but did stop by nine o’clock and never happened again.

Heating in the bathroom starts manually with a button and stops after 30’. I would prefer a more permanent heating system for absolute comfort. It was ok however.

We were greeted on arrival with everything we needed - map, recommendations, etc. Mario is an exceptional host. Breakfast was made to order and superb, and he graciously accommodated requests to eat early . The room was re-supplied daily with towels, beverages, and treats. The room was spacious and contemporary, and the bed was quite comfortable.

There is nothing we didn’t like. Every detail was thoughtful, even the front door being painted red so it was easy to locate when returning. Due to the building design, not every room is on the same level as an elevator stop. If stairs are an issue, simply ask for one of the rooms that has direct access to the elevator.

Mario is een geweldige host. Behulpzaam, dienstbaar en zeer vriendelijk. Zijn B&B voelt als een hotel, prachtige ruime stijlvolle ingerichte kamer, mooie badkamer en er is een lift aanwezig. de B&B ligt in het centrum van Brussel op loopafstand van winkelstraten, grote markt en alle bezienswaardigheden. Het ontbijt wordt persoonlijk voor je bereid, croissantjes, vers gebakken broodjes, een (roer) eitje naar wens, yoghurt naar keuze en zalm, kaas of ham erbij. Dank je wel Mario, we komen zeker bij je terug.

Todo fue excelente: la recepción, las recomendaciones para visitar la ciudad, las habitaciones son estupendas, la limpieza también, el desayuno muy bien...es totalmente recomendable. Como huéspedes, nos hemos sentido valorados y bien atendidos.

Mario was an excellent host. Always very obliging- even making us food to take on the train to Berlin. Our room was excellent - very comfortable with everything we needed. The hotel was easy walking distance to the Christmas market in Grand Place and other markets. Perfect.
