Das Zimmer hatte das Fenster zur Hauptstraße hinaus, nachts bellte stundenlang ein Hund aus der Nachbarschaft und auch das Hotel ist sehr hellhörig, so dass man leider nicht ausgeruht schlafen konnte. Die Ausstattung ist gediegen, das Bad war geräumig mit einer Badewanne.

Reviewed Sep 13, 2026I liked the location right along the Camino trail. The pool was a welcome feature after hiking all day. The room was smallish but comfortable and very clean. I liked the grand old world feel. The on-site restaurant was good with a good variety of dishes to choose from.
The fact that you had to pay for a pool towel was disappointing. You could understand a rental cost to ensure a return.

Location is on a highway which suits a lot of walkers.. only issue it was 3 1/2 k from Oia where we wanted to eat but we got taxi which was so cheap.

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Wir haben uns zu dritt ein Dreibettzimmer geteilt und bekamen ein Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer... Das Zimmer war ziemlich groß... Das Badezimmer Perfekt.. Alles in einem waren wir sehr zufrieden... das Hotel liegt auch direkt am Caminoweg... Nur der Preis happig..
Leider gibt es in der Umgebung keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten...

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026We immensely enjoyed our all too brief stay at Hotel Glasgow while walking the Camino. The location was perfect for us, the hotel was exceedingly well kept and maintained and the (chilly) pool soothed our weary legs. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and the breakfast was just perfect. While there is not much else around the hotel we really enjoyed the single local bar and tapas restaurant. (There is also a Michelin starred restaurant about 100 m away, but we could not run to that!)
We found the staff overly "efficient" and - somewhat weirdly? - there was a kettle in our room..... but absolutely nothing else! No cups or anything!! So.... why the kettle?

The hotel has two nice pools and nice grounds. The restaurant stayed open late for lunch to accommodate us and both the food and the server were excellent.
Our room was austere and the bathroom was gross.The bathroom in our room had significant black mold in/on the tile grout and along the base of the shower curtain. The bedroom credenza door was broken.The paint on the bedroom wall was chipped. It appeared the room was not cared for or ever inspected by Housekeeping management.

Nuestra habitación estaba en el tercer piso, tenía un pequeño balcón, buenas vistas y era cómoda y funcional. El restaurante del hotel está muy bien, cenamos una noche y todo perfecto. El desayuno también bien.

Reviewed Aug 17, 2026Nähe am caminho - Nähe zum Meer und auch der Pool ist für eine Erfrischung sehr gut. Wir hatten Meerblick und leckeres Abendessen im Sonnenuntergang in dem Restaurant. Wir wählten das Tagesmenü, welches preislich sehr fair war.
Preislich ist das Hotel bei einer relativ kurzfristigen Buchung sehr teuer gewesen.

Great staff that meets you in a lovely modern lobby, however the room was outdated and under the roof. It had a tiny window with a crooked curtain., so no real daylight into the room. Comfortable bed, small bathroom. Great breakfast.
Not very soundproof with the neighboring room. Pool was very cold, even in july.

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026Het zwembad met uitzicht op zee was fijn, en er waren voldoende ligstoelen. Het diner was best lekker en heel vriendelijk geprijsd: voor-, hoofd-, nagerecht, koffie en een hele fles wijn voor 30 euro.
Er is alleen een overdekte bar bij de parkeerplaats en die is heel ongezellig. De eetzaal is ook sfeerloos, en er is geen lobby. Dit is een hotel voor groepen (die eten in een aparte eetzaal) en voor mensen die de Camino wandelen. Prima voor een tussenstop maar niet voor een langer verblijf.
