No allocated parking so imagine that this might be difficult sometimes

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Pasábamos por ahí e hicimos reserva para dormir en esta posada. Sin saber mucho del sitio, ...la sorpresa fue muy grande, de lo precioso que lo encontramos todo!!! Que seguro que volveremos para pasar unos días. Muy cerca de Logroño y estratégicamente bueno. Muy cómodo, un restaurante fantástico y un checking fácil. Muy buena atención recibida. No se puede pedir más!!

Absolument aucun contact avec le personnel qui ne déplace par sur place et qui n'en montre pas l'intention, enregistrement fait obligatoirement par web. Exemple concret : Ampoule défectueuse qui n'a donc pas pu être signalée et remplacée. Étrange atmosphère de solitude et d’insolemment...

Calor insoportable a l’habitació. Vem passar una nit en plena onada de calor i la nostra habitació no tenia aire acondicionat, només un ventilador de peu que era totalment insuficient per la calor. No vem poder dormir, tot i deixant la finestra i la porta obertes, i amb el ventilador conectat, l’habitació no baixava de 30 graus.

Dog friendly, and a parking space just on the square nearby. Online communication good, photos and video sent to find the place and indicate where the bedroom was.
Uncomfortably hot. Not a pleasant night. The small fans in the room were useless... It is the middle of Spain, logical that if it very hot in June, but it wouldn't cost much to get larger fans! . Nobody 'human' to speak to. Pretty deshumanized, unfortunately. Door code practical.

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026Es un sitio curioso, muy típico de La rioja pero había 40 grados en la habitación el colchón desprendía fuego de calor y solo había un ventilador que no funcionaba, el baño enano solo y tuvimos mala suerte pero justo la noche que nos hospedamos tenían una fiesta en el restaurante de abajo, el precio no justifica el hospedaje, no lo recomendaría.
Que hacía muchisimo calor y no tenía aire acondicionado solo disponía de un ventilador roto, y el fuego que echaba el colchón y lo Mal que se dormía en el, y el ruido a consecuencia de una fiesta del mismo hospedaje.

No hay aire acondicionado pero sí una torre de refeigeración.

No había aire acondicionado, solo un ventilador, pero el problema era que había donde enchufarlo, al final lo subimos en Ia de un escritorio antiguo y había un enchufe al lado de la televisión que estaba colgada en la pared

Reviewed Jun 16, 2026There is a restaruant attached to the property but doesn't do breakfast. However, just a short walk down the ancient street there's a cafe which opens at 7.00am serving coffee and rolls etc.
A bit more personal contact on reception. The whole reception process is automated using on line registration using phone apps. I can understand this to streamline the registration process but it kinds of removes the personal touch. OK, i'm an older person who like the personal touch but when you understand the technology of on line registration and Whatsapp messaging then this does work.

No great response from staff when we asked some questions, they were very unhelpful all round. Bed was comfy and the room was clean but overall no great welcome. Disappointed.

Reviewed May 10, 2026Pet-friendly, I think it was renovated recently. Lovely, clean room, comfortable beds with good mattresses - slept like a rock. The shared bathroom was so squeaky clean and looked so great (it was warmed up really well too) that it was just much better than the most private ones I had so far. Good fluffy towels and nice toiletries, not to mention the great location and the overall coolness of the establishment.
I wish there were two keys for when you have two people in one room, but that’s it.

Reviewed Dec 9, 2025El alojamiento es un lugar histórico, céntrico, reformado, bonito y con encanto. El propietario nos ayudó para el check in, mandándonos whasappsa informativos. La habitación es bonita, amplia, camas grandes. El baño está impecable (es compartido), y en él hacía calor, cosa que se agradece.
Nos costó aparcar, aunque otros clientes lograron aparcar al lado, es cuestión de suerte. Hubiese estado bien que en el precio de reserva se incluyese el desayuno, pues tienen restaurante. Nos hubiese gustado ver la bodega, pero nos dijo la chica de la limpieza que a esa hora estaba cerrada y no se podía mostrar, una pena. Por otro lado, algo falló en la comunicación con los encargados del alojamiento, pues mi hermana llamó una semana antes para ver si tenían habitación y así poder alojarnos en el mismo lugar las dos familias. Le dijeron que llamase en unos días y así se lo confirmaban, por si había cancelaciones. Llamó varias veces y dejó varios mensajes, pero nunca recibió una llamada ni una explicación, o información. Lo que al principio le pareció una atención perfecta y cordial, luego fue silencio, no supo nunca si había algo libre. Creo que la atención al cliente, o al futuro cliente, es importante, y no cuesta nada responder una llamada, un mensaje.

Reviewed Nov 4, 2025This is a lovely hotel with lots of history. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. The receptionist recommended her favorite local restaurant and we were delighted with the meal. I'd love to stay at Posada Ignatius next time I'm in Navarrete.
I was disappointed that the restaurant in the basement of the hotel was not open while we were there, but we had a lovely meal at the local restaurant recommended by the hotel.

Reviewed Oct 23, 2025Das Abendessen war phantastisch gut, qualitativ sehr fein. Feinste Speisen, erlesene Weine, sehr freundliche Bedienung. Der Empfang war kompetent und sehr dienstbereit, auch wenn der Zugang per Code zuerst nicht klappte. Die Räumlichkeiten des Restaurants und die historischen Keller jener Festung, wo Ignatius von Loyola bei Enrique de Lara einst im Dienst war, sind sehr beindruckend und lassen die Geschichte des Ignatius sehr lebendig werden.
Die Essensportionen waren für etliche von uns Pilgern, die lange Wege gegangen waren, zu mager. Sie hätten, was die Beilagen angeht, reichhaltiger sein können
