Very enjoyable stay indeed booked extra night. Facilities first class & hosts very accommodating. Walk of less than 1 klm to nearby tavern & Thai restaurant.

The bedroom was a good size with a very comfortable bed. There was a fully fitted kitchen at our disposal & the hosts were very accommodating.

Roomy and very smart property. Owner helpful and obliging. Parking off the street. All breakfast foods excellent. Bedroom and bed comfy.

Very clean, comfortable, and quiet. Excellent breakfast. Will certainly return to this property.

A small B&B with just two rooms. The hosts were friendly. Everything was excellent. The stay was unforgettable.

Loved how everything was supplied. Spacious, clean, lovely kitchenware & plenty of it. There was nothing that I didn't like.

The place was really nice, everything was perfect and the owers very friendly. It was little bit difficult to find may be because is was too dark. There is available a kitchen with full equipment and a nice dinning room. The town is more or less 6 min by car. The area is very quiet and the room with a good size. The bathroom was very clean and had amenities. The breakfast is self-service and complete ( eggs, yogurt, fruit, toast, butter, jam, coffe, tea, honey, muesli and more things I can not remember ;) I will sure recommend anyone to stay there :)

Our hosts where very attentive and went further than we ever expected, even consulting us on new guests a last minute booking for their other bedroom suite! They definetly went the extra mile. The breakfast was continental but wholesome and plentiful. Very much worth another stay and definetely one of our highlights of of 2 month trip around the North Island

Overall an excellent stay and Friendly, helpful hosts Would choose again and recommend to others

Great location. Lovely hosts. Spacious, clean and tidy. Perfect for our needs and we'll be back!

Amazing stay! We were very jet lagged and delayed in finding the b&b but the hosts were so welcoming and friendly! The place is lovely very clean and well kept. Beds very comfy also! Great facilities and selection for breakfast. Can’t recommend enough!!!

Lovely area, hosts were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice. Warm and cozy inside also. Would highly recommend

Very comfortable, lovely hosts, great breakfast, easy walk to town centre

The hosts were superb, friendly & very accommodating. This was our 1st time staying in a B&B, certainly would return to 7 Marlowe Drive again. Plenty of things to do in & around Cambridge.

What an amazing stay, friendly attentive hosts, attention to details, beautiful property, lovely breakfast every morning, excellent room and shower facilities, and after a hard day climbing up volcanos a jacuzzi under the stars! Thanks for making our first time in New Zealand so memorable.

Spent a night at this lovely home. Really enjoyed the outdoor spa pool in a cute garden setting & the well equipped private kitchen. There is a nice, easy nature walk across the road. It was a quick drive into the town centre. Great location and wonderful hosts. We will be back.

It's obvious a lot of care and attention go into making everyone's stay as comfortable as possible. Thoughtful details abound. I would have loved to stay longer!

Very nice place. Wish I could have spent more time there, but I had an early departure for the airport. Gracious hosts. Very quiet neighborhood. Very comfortable room.

Super accueil, hôtel incroyable, si bien traité qu'on se croit surclassé, difficile d'être mieux, literie exceptionnel, cadre envoûtant, petit déjeuner complet, patrons incroyable

excellent lodging between Waitomo caves and Rotorua. Cambridge is lovely town. Immaculate house with gracious hosts.

We are a retired couple and it was perfect for us with the en-suite. As we were the only ones staying at this time it was lovely and private and peaceful. As they have two bedrooms sharing the kitchen/ living area it’s perfect for a small family. Lovely hosts , convenient location and spotless. Highly recommended.

We liked the way we could get our own breakfast and that there was somewhere comfortable to sit in the evening. We felt very relaxed.

Lovely b&b in quiet street within walking distance of Cambridge town centre. Nice welcome from owner. We stayed in the Creighton room with ensuite facilities. Lovely large room. Great to have use of lounge and kitchen area. Breakfast provisions included. We enjoyed our stay here.

In this B&B you actually share half of the owners house, this is somewhat different to anything I have done before, but works out rather well. You get your own front door, decking area with BBQ and table and seating. You get your own bedroom the one we had was on-suite , you can lock your bedroom door. The bedding, toiletries and decor are 1st class. There are 2 bedrooms so you share the kitchen and lounge with the other people. Breakfast is provided, cereals, yoghurts, bread and jams. You can use the fully fitted kitchen, there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer and a fridge freezer. Doug and Felicity the hosts are lovely welcoming people and will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Was like having your own apartment, kitchen, laundry, living room and patio..that you share with one other B&B guest and each room has its own bathroom!

Set in a lovely quiet area this B&B is perfect for anyone wanting to visit the local area and of course Hobbiton. Wonderful bed, linen and pillows, fabulous kitchen and lounge and large deck...hosts Felicity and Doug so lovely.

Owners were helpful and welcoming without any intrusion. The property offered more than i expected. Full kitchen and our own lounge. Lovely.

Great location, wonderful hosts who were really friendly and helpful, great set up with lots of facilities/comforts, thoughtfully configured and set up well for a comfortable stay. Really really recommend. Nothing to improve - just lovely

Very comfortable and pleasant place to stay. I will certainly return in the future.

This property is beautifully located and presented, hosts are so friendly and healpful, and facilities are very clean and comfortable. Guests get their own kitchen, loungeroom, and ensuite bathroom - with great breakfast selection also included. I would highly recommend staying here, and can't wait to come back!

Better than we were expecting, great value. Nice range of options for breakfast. Good pressure in the shower.

Could not be better . Unit very well equipped with everything that is needed for a very pleasant stay. Wish could have stayed longer

We had a lovely stay with Doug and Felicity. They both made us feel so welcome and provideda great breakfast. Just what we needed to set us up for the day visiting nearby VHobbiton. The room was very large and inaccurate. We also had free run of our own separate kitchen and living room areas. All in all a wonderful place to stay in New Zealend.and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This accommodation exceeded our expectations in so many ways. Doug and Felicity were great hosts who were available if we needed them but did not intrude. I loved all the little extra touches such as a variety of breakfast foods including beautiful fresh fruit all just waiting to be enjoyed as well as the offer of the use of the hot tub. Furniture and furnishings were tasteful and well cared for as well as very comfortable. It was easy to find and access was easy. Doug and Felicity were able to make suggestions for dining which were most appreciated. The area was private with lovely trees and outdoor furniture on a private deck which would be lovely for summer. Thanks for such an enjoyable stay and we would be more than happy to stay again or recommend as it was perfect for what we needed.

Fantastic B&B Doug and Felicity made us extremely welcome and at home. A home away from home. Very convenient location (30min) away from Hobbiton. Highly recommend.

What an amazing place. Superb room with full use of the kitchen, lounge and balcony seating area. This really is home from home. Made to feel very welcome and a super breakfast each morning. A very lovely quiet neighbourhood yet only a few minutes drive to the centre of Cambridge. You also have use of the hot tub.

A delightful place to stay. The welcome could not have been warmer.

Just amazing, we had the most wonderful stay and they were just great hosts. All topped off with a l lovely evening in their hottub. Stay here! :)

Very friendly and hospitable owners. The accommodation met all our expectations; quietly situated, yet handy with a pleasant walk across the river to the shops and restaurants of Cambridge.

Doug and Felicity were our attentive hosts at the Marlowe B&B. It comprises an apartment, sunny and light, with a large living room and two bedrooms, one of which has a bathroom ensuite. (The apartment has a private entrance, with parking and a deck.) The kitchen is fully equipped and an assortment of breakfast items including eggs, bread, cereal, yogurt and fresh fruit was provided. This apartment would be perfect for a family. We were only a couple, but since the second bedroom was unoccupied during our stay we had the whole place to ourselves. Doug was extremely helpful, advising us on tour reservations and even providing his own phone to make them. The Cambridge is a lovely town, and the B&B is located in a quiet street convenient to city center.

We are traveling now for almost two weeks and have stayed at many homes and met many pleasant and interesting hosts. However, Felicity and Doug are surely the best we have met so far. Their home in the lovely leafy town of Cambridge makes an excellent base for visiting Hobbiton. Doug suggested a back route to Hobbiton that was one of the most scenic pastoral roads that we have been on. Felicity made sure we had everything for making a wonderful breakfast, including eggs. Her thoughtfulness appears everywhere in the house. Whatever we didn't have time to find in Auckland we found in the stores in Cambridge, including a pharmacy and electronics store. It was a pleasure to chat with Felicity and Doug and learn about the area. On their recommendation we tried the Five Stags, which turned out to be a hunting lodge themed restaurant with good food. We can definitely recommend this B&B.

Very comfortable and great service😊

Doug and Felicity's place was great. The rooms were as depicted in the photos, the place was well-heated by the heat pump, and was only a short driving distance from central Cambridge. Doug was friendly, hospitable and shared great insight about things to do in the area, which included the local lake (thanks Doug!). We were very pleased with our stay there and are looking forward to returning in the near future. :)

Doug welcomed us in and straight away made us feel at home. He showed us all the essentials then left us to it. The bedroom & en suite were perfect. Living room & kitchen also great. Added bonus of sky TV & Internet. We were also able to use washing machine & dryer if we wanted too. I would recommend to anyone to stay.

WOW WOW WOW not a lot more i can say really. What an amazing place, clean, comfy, hot tub, heat pump, bath!!, breakfast, SKY sports 9 great for the world cup ) what more can a man want

Doug and Felicity were amazing. House was clean and open and bright.
