Noise in the rooms next to the reception,room with not even a simple glass or cup let alone of microwave rooms with no drinking water

קיבלנו מצעים מלוכלכים מאוד, עם כתמים ושיערות של אורחים קודמים. ממש מגעיל כשהתקשרנו לצוות, הוא הנחה אותנו לקחת מצעים מהארון שירות, ותוך כדי שאני לוקח הוא צועק עליי בטלפון בלי בושה שאני ״מבלגן״ לו את הארון. מקום מגעיל, יחס מגעיל, ב1 בלילה הלכנו לחפש מלון אחר

The location, and the good staff communication before arrival and while we were there, and their immediate attention to a negative situation.

The first room allocated to us. It was not acceptable for variius reasons. We arrived late pm so no one available to assist. However, next morning after we advised reception of the issues, we were immediately moved to an amazing new room for our second night. Thank you.

There is a lot of noise from the outside even at 3 am One towel was with leftovers hair and the neighbor next door was extremely loud (playing music around 4am)

Die Lage war soweit gut. Der Service war in Ordnung, der Empfang freundlich, auf meine Bitte wurde ein Wasserkocher ausgetauscht und mir im Flur ein Schrank mit Warmwasserbereiter und Pappbechern gezeigt. Aber es ist zu empfehlen , einiges zu verbessern ! Ansonsten gefiel uns die Lage direkt im Stadtteil und den guten Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten, nur 10 min zur Tram Haltestelle zu Fuß.

Die Suite hat uns enttäuscht. Wir haben sie extra gebucht um ein Treffen mit CEO und Projektleiter zu ermöglichen. Die Küche entspricht nicht den Angaben auf den Fotos. Es war nicht sauber , gab kein richtiges Geschirr, Geschirrhandtuch, spülmittel und Bürste, nur alte verschmutzte lieblos hinein geworfene Pappteller und Plastikbesteck, der Wasserkocher komplett verkalkt, auf meine Bitte wurde er ausgetauscht. Der Kühlschrank war sehr klein und schmutzig. Das ist ein No Go für eine Suite ! Und für ein wichtiges Treffen, zu dritt. Zwar gab es das Sofa, aber kein Tischchen dazu oder einen weiteren Stuhl. Insgesamt alles vernachlässigt und nicht gut gereinigt. Das Bett war in Ordnung und soweit bequem. Im Treppenhaus lagen Matrazen und Müll. Nun ja JLM halt. Wir können beim nächsten Treffen so eine Unterkunft nicht mehr wählen, die nicht den Bewertungen entspricht, Fotos irritieren da nur. Wir müssen es zukünftig persönlich überprüfen. Die Bewertungen entsprechen nicht der Realität, leider !

מקום מדהים, קרוב למרכז העיר ועם זאת שקט, והכל במחיר 'מצחיק', ממליץ ממש!

Family owned and ran. Great people who take pride in their establishment. Dublin Bar is 50 meters away and has a great group of people.

You stay what you pay for, this is not hotel but hostel, broken down need upgrade, the location is very strategic though

Fantastic location However, i would NOT consider this place a hotel, probably not even a motel, more like a single room in a dirty hostel. My bathroom was dirty, as soon as i turned on the A/C stuff came out and landed on my bed, the owner (or evening guy, not sure if he is the owner) instead of apologies offered some yelling and said its just dust and maybe he should replace the filter, i don't know what it is but it was large and thete were a lot of whatever it was that landed on the bed. i asked to replace the sheets and clean the faucet, which aside from being filty was broken and had scolding hot water only. He didn't want to change the sheets, told me to go elsewhere, i asked for my money, he said i paid expedia not him, so i should ask expidia, he kept yelling, and so i said look i asked you politely for clean sheets, its something i deserve to have when paying for a room, he complained i didn't pay that much, i said thats the rate you charge and regardless of rate i deserve clean sheets. He changed the sheets grudgngly and cleaned the Faucet. Awesome location, never again!

The location is very comfortable, the room is ok size wise for a couple

The bed sheets had stains, the shower was not properly maintained- sealing rubber was loose, the sink tap was leaking, the decorative tin tables had stains and looked very old The noise from outside can be heard very clearly It is not a hotel, simply a few rooms in one floor of a building. We got in very late and I was told there will be a reception 24 hours, but instead the key was waiting for us near the room, and the door was unlocked (but locked) so we didn't see anyone in check in

Location was great! Staff was very helpful, we didn’t arrive until after midnight and they made sure our room and key were available.

Too noisy outside . The room was just above small supermarket which worked entire night with music. Somebody had broken glasses outside the room but not cleaned the residues.

Friendly and helpful staff. Shops and restaurants just outside the door. Short distance to the Jerusalem tram and to the old city. Nights were quiet and therefore easy to get a good sleep.

A bit untidy in the stairs on the way to the hotel's floor - but nice and tidy on the actual floor.

The location. Wifi was good. Front desk staff were very helpful and good. Even whoever was dealing with my booking was good, the person allowed us to check in early.

Room floor dint look very clean, neither toilet floor was very clean. One of the hand towel was with stain mark. In room facility suppose to have kettle in the room it self. Room slipper suppose to be there. It says while booking on website. Bed sheet dint look very clean.

We had booked 2 deluxe rooms, 4 people. Great location 10+! Helpful staff! The rooms were quite old but had everything we needed. The rooms are a good size, a couple of chairs would have been a plus. We were not disturbed by the sounds from the street. We arrived in the middle of the night but got to our rooms smoothly. We had to cancel our hotel in Tel Aviv, but we got the chance to continue our vacation in this same hotel in Jerusalem, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! So we spent 13 nights at Dem! We would love to return to Jerusalem and Hotel Dem! The price-quality ratio is right. (Google translator, sorry)

Very comfortable, staff friendly, small hotel (one floor - 10 -15 room - not sure exactly) located 5 min walk from Yaffa gate of Old City. Very convenient for self-exploring Old City, convenient public transportation from Jerusalem Central bus and train station. Clean and convenient. Area around hotel feel safe. But in a last day of our stay (4-24-2023) terror attacks happened 300 m ahead of us when we walk on the street to Mahaneh Yeguda Market.

The location is great, very close to the old jerusalem. The staff was really kind and helpful.

The ONLY good thing I can say is it is in the middle of down town Jerusalem off Ben Yahuda St. But even that had a negative, because it is closed to vehicle traffic, you have to walk several blocks to get to it, and if you have a lot of baggage, or limited mobility, it should be considered a no go.

Most Horrible experience of my life at the DEM Hotel. Before I say anything else, I need to say they are liers. My wife and I checked in as scheduled on April 4, found the room to be unacceptable and the staff unwilling to do anything about it until the next day, so we left and went to another hotel for the rest of of our two week stay. We asked for a refund, but instead of refunding at least part of our time, they marked us as a "no show" in Booking so that they could keep all their money under the hotel's stated no show, no refund, policy, and try to keep me from writing this review. I have never in all my years experienced such rudeness and disrespect. It started when we arrived. You have to go quite a ways to get to the hotel on foot because it is a pedestrian only zone. My wife can't walk very far due to a back problem, so we got the host to come out to get some of our luggage. But he would not hold his speed down to what my wife could keep up with, essentially forcing me to separate from my wife or my luggage on a foreign city. Their description says that the rooms are accessible by elevator, but you have to go up a flight of steps to get to the elevator. Once we checked in the host disappeared and wasn't seen again. They advertise as a Botique hotel, which usually means they only have a few rooms so that the guests can be better pampered, but at this hotel the hosts are only there to check people in or out, and are unavailable in person otherwise.They say they have refrigerators in the room, but it is only a drink cooler that barely cools at all. When I reported it that it was not working well, all they responded was"checking..." and nothing else via the Booking.com messaging system. Then we found out that the bed had crumbs and hair under the cover, they obviously had not changed the sheets. When I messaged them about that they just responded "impossible" with no offer to change them until the morning.

The location was fantastic, just off the colourful Ben Yehuda Street. It was a 2minute walk to the Jaffa Light Tram Stop and a ten minute walk into the Old City. Bed was really comfortable.

Walls need repainted, looking tired.

We had an unusual occurrence of kids/teens getting into the building and onto the hotel floor, they were very loud and disturbing. Suggest that hotel place a keypad lock at their lobby entrance for guest access overnight, instead of leaving the door open to the common stairwell for anyone to enter.

The hotel is located 20 minutes walk from the Old City.

The room and bathroom need total renovation. Room was really small.Towels were worn, grey and unpleasant. Very noisy area even windows closed didn’t help. We slept very badly.

Walls are super thin and you can hear everything that is happening in rooms next to yours, as well as in the hallway

The location is absolutely perfect, right near the light rail and the shuk. The beds were exptremely comfortable - surprisingly, and the staff is very helpful. We even stayed a little after chek out and it was fine. Thank you!

However, it's a very very small room, it could use some renovation - although everything is very clean. It's very humid as well - although that could just be the generally hot climate. There is some noise in the morning from the street, and it's actually a bit hard to find at first.

The hotel is somewhat difficult to locate. It is on the third floor of a building and the hotel sign is not all that obvious. if you are not using gps, you could walk right by and not see this place.

Staff was very kind and open to help. Suggested the best way to move around. Very friendly and safe neighborhood with nice restaurants. Commuting to the Old City. Also, bed was cozy and comfortable.

I had a rough first night after being put in a room on the main street, be warned this is in a busy area so for me it was impossible to sleep. Having said that once I bought it to the staffs attention they moved me to a quite room and they were lovely about it , especially given how stressed and angry I was after having requested a quite room in the first instance. They did really well, super impressed

The place just needs a little love, maybe felt on the doors, they slam pretty hard and double glazed windows would stop all the noise but apart from that , for less fussy or younger travellers it great, it's in a terrific spot, loads of food and transport.

nothing good about this place

The room desperately need renovation, it was a very dirty and stinky room + a bathroom full of rust. I felt very uncomfortable staying there. Horrible sound isolation in rooms, you hear EVERYTHING from alarms to private people conversations, we woke up at 6 because someone had a s'x next to our room. I was unable to sleep and felt tired all day of staying. There was a stain of blood on a shelf (adding photo), the view from a window will make you cry.
