Hotel Forest Lake Backpackers' Hostel

The location was perfect being so close to the lakeside and you literally see the lake from the common area. The staff were very friendly and helped me book a bus to KTM and even booked a cab for me. It was very clean and since I went during the off season I had the whole dorm to myself.

今まで泊まったホステル中でもかなりレベル高いです。延泊繰り返しました。レイクサイドの端の方なので静かでお部屋からのレイクビューは最高でした。4人部屋はレイクビューのお部屋です。スタッフもみんな優しくて丁寧で全体的に掃除も行き届いており清潔。ホットシャワー出ます。ポカラに来たら絶対また利用します！ご飯もオーダーできますが美味しかったです！

女生宿舍是面向山体的，所以很阴暗和潮湿。床单上有明显的红色污渍，我以为是血渍，服务人员告诉我其实是锈点。

The location and the staff

I stayed in a double room, with lovely views over the lake. The room was spacious, air conditioned and opened onto a small balcony. The bathroom facilities were good, plenty of hot water as well. There is noise from the street, but seems the same in most places lakeside. There is also a nice little cafe on site.

During my stay in Pokhara I stayed in three different hostels and this one was my favorite. The rooms were bright, beds comfortable and the bathroom was always kept clean. The female dorm was facing a forest, so it was really quiet and peaceful. I also really loved the location - the hostel is just right next to the lake, also really close to the Movie Garden and some great cafes. Special thanks goes to the staff (thank you Gobin, and the others too!), who helped me out with everything, always with a smile on their face. If I ever come back to Pokhara, I’ll stay here again!

Loved the location, it was at the quieter end of the Phewa Lake but with a very direct view of the lake itself ! Booked 3 nights using booking.com but ended up adding one more night and it was a good 4-day pokhara trip ! Will surely be back again !

First of all, the location is perfect. Just by the lake, very close to many nice restaurants and bars even though still quiet place. Very friendly and helpful staff. I could see someone was coming to clean the bathroom in female dorm every single day. Clean and comfy beds, hot shower.

Bed curtains could be longer and darker. It felt like having no curtains at all. Big gaps. Not big deal.

在这家hostel住了14晚，认识了不少朋友，房间内不仅有独立卫浴，还有公共卫浴可以选择。青旅的员工都很友善且提供很多服务，听一个室友说她手机被人捡走了老板很努力的帮她找回来了，很加分！下次去博卡拉我还去！

可能是楼上公区依旧有人在抽烟很呛这回事

The rooms are very damp - to the extent that our bags and clothing felt almost wet. When we informed staff, we were told that this is normal for rainy season. Never experienced this before!

The location is right on the corner of the lake, close to the lakeside path. The bathroom is clean, the water is clean and fast, the water is hot, and the room is very peaceful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I was greeted by Stup and Sunil, and my bags were carried to my room. Since the room rate on the booking app was in USD, they converted it to Nepalese currency, according to the prevailing rate at the money changer.

The room was a bit cramped. Some of the curtain hangers were loose. The bed covers were also very worn. The food and drinks were overpriced. They even sold milk tea for 120 Nepali rupees, while nearby restaurants only charge 40 rupees.

這裡的房間有一個露台可以看到費瓦湖，早晨能看到漁夫在撒網捕魚，這大大提高了我的旅行體驗。酒店員工非常熱情，辦事非常高效。

It was my 2nd time here, so clearly I like the place Good location, good staff, clean facilities, hot water, great common area with a view and a hammock.

Not enough space in female dorm for everyone's things: backpacks, luggage. A bit uncomfortable, but nothing you can do Small detail that would make everything 10 times better: curtains around the bed were ripped, they are old I guess, so they do not provide privacy or light coverage. If hostel can replace them, it would be amazing.

I absolutely enjoyed my time in the Hostel. The staff is so great, helpful, and caring. I felt like being at home, so welcoming and warm. All the staff is amazing but I had the chance of being closer with Sunil , Stup, kreetan and Nikita and I loved it because they were so nice to me

Endroit incroyable ! C'est très bien situé, très cosy et propre. Les espaces communs sont parfaits pour rencontrer des voyageurs et échanger des informations sur les treks. C'est aussi très agréable que l'hôtel organise tout ! J'ai fait le parapente avec eux et pris mon billet de bus retour avec le taxi pour m'emmener à la gare et tout était parfait. Ils sont également vraiment adorables a la réception et ils gardent les affaires pendant le trek ce qui est très pratique

Personnel pas professionnel du tout. Les deux jeunes filles a l’accueil sont bien mais les autres sont des adolescents absolument pas pro. J’étais dans le dortoir femmes, très petit pour 4 personnes. Les garçons de l’accueil rentraient tous les après midi dans la chambre sans aucune raison et laissaient la porte grande ouverte. Ils changent les draps des lits mais c’est tout. J’ai du demander à ce qu’ils nettoient la salle de bain. Une fois la femme de ménage est rentrée juste pour utiliser les toilettes et elle est repartie sans rien faire de plus que ses propres besoins. Difficile de profiter du rooftop car durant mon séjour il y avait un groupe de jeune qui fumait de la drogue du matin au soir. Et en plus c’était assez sale. J’ai reservé un taxi pour l’aéroport et ils m’ont averti a la dernière minute que le départ été avancé, j’ai du courir pour récupérer mes affaires.

The rooms were not good, it had dampness and smell. Upon highlighting the issue we were told that since its a budget room this is what comes in it. Room was budget but dampness needs to be addressed. It will lead to moulds soon and create potential health hazard. Staff could not give a different room of same category but offer upgrade at a discounted price.

Had a great stay at Hotel Forest Lake, Pokhara and ended up extending our stay by two more days. The staff was very courteous and always helpful. The rooms were spacious, and the location is superb — lake-facing rooms with the lake literally just across the road. Really enjoyed the views and overall experience. Would definitely recommend for a relaxed stay in Pokhara

The bed curtains are transparent, it would be better if they were opaque for more privacy.

First night i was in female dormitory room and it was excellent! But second night it was full and that’s why I moved in common dormitory and it was terrible!! Because it is in the side with the road and so noisy… and the shower and toilet in the open area and so cold in the morning (in female room it’s inside!) But for the female dormitory I don’t reduce my feedback

Super nice and helpful hostel staff, and the location is nice, although the street is quite noisy. I planned to stay one night but extended to almost a week because I liked it so much.

The ladys' dorm was quite small and small, it was quite difficult to arrange my backpack and things in the room because of space limitations.
