Location is good - walking to Padua centre or taxi to and from the railway station. Room was comfortable.

Our stay was let down by the breakfast experience - not good. The breakfast service (and adjacent cafe/bar) is run by a 3rd party not the hotel. Breakfast items were put out at start of breakfast service.....and never replenished....if you were the later guests to breakfast then choice was restricted or non-existent. Tables were left uncleared, staff were non-friendly, Fruit on the buffet was tinned, nothing fresh. We, and other guests, complained about the breakfast service.....one reception staff member said "I know what you are going to tell me". Hopefully, these comments have been passed to management and action taken.

L’accueil et la gentillesse du personnel, l’emplacement et la proximité avec le centre ville

Chambre propre, mais un peu vieillot, notamment la salle de bain. Accès en partie via escalier (plusieurs demi-palliers) sans ascenseur.

L’habitació perfecte, neta, el personal súper bé, la situació excel·lent i l’esmorzar perfecte. Tot un 10. Molt recomenable.

The location of the hotel was very good. Our 1st room we booked had a panoramic view of the cathedral. Breakfast was good with a few choices of food.

We had to move out of that room as the bathroom ceiling was about to come down due to a leak from air-conditioning. We were moved to a room with less of a view and smaller. We had no compensation for the inconvenience or disappointment of the style of room.

Fantastic central location, quiet room, clean and fresh, with some traditional italian atmosphere. Slept like a baby. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast was the very generic simple buffet style that is common all around Italy, nothing bad but could be fresher/higher quality.

The Breakfast was below a reasonable standard. The buffet was not replenished and they had run out of the little that was on offer. The two waitresses tried their best but could not fix the problem. .

Non ho gradito per niente entrare in camera e trovare il bagno sporco, di una pipì sicuramente non fatta da noi e della carta sporca di sangue sicuramente non nostro. La cosa peggiore è che quando ho comunicato l accaduto alla portineria, che ha chiamato il responsabile delle pulizie, questi ha detto che bastava tirare lo scarico. No coment

We had a wonderful stay! The room was very nice, the bed was extremely comfortable, and we really enjoyed our time at your hotel. We found lots of interesting place in the neigborhood.

The only issue we had was with the air conditioning. It was quite difficult to figure out how to turn it off, as the controls were somewhat confusing. Some clear instructions in the room would have been very helpful.

Good size room. Breakfast was Ok. Front office staff were OK.

The AC did not work. Temperature in the room was around 28C. AC was not working. When I complained, they offered another room - It appeared that the AC for the whole hotel was not working. Even the reception had fans running. The temperature on that day in Padua was around 35C!!! They should have had some kind of alternate option if the AC failed. Pretty disappointed.

Chambre spacieuse, extrêmement bien située dans un immeuble historique. Pour quatre personnes nous avons eu une suite avec deux chambre, l’idéal pour une famille.

La Climatisation était bruyante, le petit déjeuner manquait de charme

Todos os itens normalmente avaliados foram muito bem atendidos. Destaque para recepção, equipe de copa, café da manhã, conforto térmico do quarto, espaço.

Nada que macule a imagem do hotel, mas como tanto o quarto quanto o toilet são grandes, penso que a área de chuveiro poderia ser maior. A quantidade de tomadas elétricas também era pequena.

Wonderful location, the staff were very kind and helpful and the room came with everything needed, nice to know that you can store luggage before and after check-in even though we didn't. The air conditioning was wonderful in the summer heat so I would definitely recommend staying here if you visit in the summer.

Svidjela mi se lokacija odnosno adresa hotela, koja je doslovno preko puta bazilike Svetog Antuna Padovanskog.

Soba. Ovo je drugi moj posjet ovom hotelu, prvi puta imali smo sobu sa pogledom na baziliku, a sad sam dobila malenu,zadnju sobu na prvom katu, kojoj je prozor gledao doslovno dva metra u visinu, da nisam mogla ni normalno otvoriti prozor. U postavkama je bila ponuda sobe sa pogledom, ali nije pisalo kakav pogled (ili sam krivo shvatila). Bio je to pogled na dvorište, tako da sam tu malo razočarana, a doslovno imam priliku doći svake godine i osjećati se kao stalni gost, ali ipak to nisam.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le professionnalisme et l'accueil chaleureux de Manuel à la réception. Il parle français, anglais et espagnol ce qui est très pratique pour communiquer avec les touristes étrangers. Il nous a été d'une aide précieuse pour découvrir en toute sécurité Padoue et Venise. L'emplacement de l'hotel est idéal. Placé juste sur la plaza del santo derrière la basilique de Saint Antoine de Padoue, il est accessible en tramway depuis la gare de trains. En sortant de l'hotel, on peut parcourir le centre ville à pied.

Le petit-déjeuner est de bonne qualité mais reste perfectible. Nous aurions préféré retrouver des spécialités italiennes par exemple. Nous avons également regretté l'absence de fruits et de jus frais.

Love the old bathroom! Please keep the vibe of the hotel, I loved the style of the room. I saw some reviews about it being dated but that is the reason I wanted to stay because it has so much more character and made my Italian experience feel more authentic. The room was so clean and spotless, the cleaner/s were amazing and deserve a pay rise because the room was spotlessly clean. The room had air con which really helped with the heat as it got quite cool and it was nice to come back to after walking around all day. Would definitely stay here again.

Wir waren nur 1 Nacht im Donatello, waren aber sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit. Wir konnten in der Früh das Gepäck schon abstellen. Beim Zimmer beziehen war das Gepäck in unserem Zimmer. Die Aussicht passte gut. Das Frühstück gut. Italienisch. Sehr guter Cappuccino. Die Einrichtung nicht die modernste aber alles sehr sehr sauber!!!

Die Matratzen waren etwas hart, was aber kein zu großes Problem war.

The location and the kidness of the staff.

The breakfast is a serious health hazard so is the so called staff who manages it.I would not even call this breakfast at this point. Days old dry bread, no fruits or vegetables, week old eggs and the cold cuts looked a bit discoloured. If something ran out they did not refill. Guys do better than this.

We had a very warm welcome when checking in and out. The hotel is in a great location across the road from St Anthony’s cathedral and very close to all the attractions in the old town. The room and bathroom were very big and spotlessly clean. As my Italian is minimal, Fabrizio very helpfully phoned our favourite restaurant and made a booking for us.

Limited selection for breakfast and sadly when we were staying the coffee machine wasn’t working very well.

Eher mittelmäßiges Frühstück, wenig ambitioniertes Personal beim Frühstück. Parken nur am Prato del Valle möglich, 750m entfernt.

Snídaně byla dostačující. Skvělá lokalita. Úžasní pánové na recepci. Chtěli jsme vyzkoušet jiný hotel, ale k vůli pánům jsme opět zvolili hotel Donatello!
