Mühlradl Apartments Gosau

Very cosy and comfortable, atmospheric. I definitely recommend it.

It is a bit noisy when sitting on the balcony as it is next to the road

Very good location, host was excellent, the apartment was nice and clean with very good views - free parking and 10 minutes drive to Gosau lake which is beautiful. The apartment has everything that we needed for our stay. Well equipped kitchen.

everything was good

We loved our stay at the apartment! Our host Louise was the best of the best and she made our stay all the more amazing. It’s located perfectly between Hallstatt and Gosausee. With the most spectacular view, I couldn’t recommend our stay enough!

Nothing really - if anything, I’d recommend driving up to Gosau just for ease of travel, although there are regular 1 hrly buses easily accessible.

Beautiful place for family.

A wonderful place to stay. Every detail in the apartment has been thoughtfully considered, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The host is very kind and helpful whenever you have any questions.

Everything was sparkling clean, the room was spacious, the bed was really comfy, and the mountain view was beautiful.

We loved our stay at Mühlradl Apartments. It was quiet, peaceful, and spotlessly clean. The hosts were very kind, the décor cozy, and the garden — with its beautiful Dachstein massif view — made the place truly special. We stayed with our dog, who also felt very comfortable and relaxed there.

Everything was great; we were very satisfied. Excellent value for money. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything needed. The host was very kind and accommodating. We can certainly recommend it.

Všetko naozaj super. Domáca veľmi ochotná, príjemná a nápomocná. Oceňujeme aj možnosť ubytovania s 2 psíkmi. Úžasný výhľad na hory.

Its a small home away from home. Clean, comfy and absolutely relaxing. Great owner, great location and brilliant accomodation.

Amazing location with great scenery from the balcony. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

We had a pleasant stay overall and found this property to be charming, comfortable, and very well managed. We arrived quite late in the evening, and the self-check-in process was straightforward. The owner was extremely responsive and provided clear instructions before our arrival, making everything easy despite the late check-in. Communication throughout was excellent. The apartment itself is cozy and full of character. It feels more like staying in a traditional grandparents' home than in a modern rental, which we enjoyed. One of the highlights is undoubtedly the view. Waking up in the morning and having breakfast on the balcony while looking at the mountains was absolutely beautiful and one of the best parts of our stay. The property also offers several amenities that we did not expect, including a sauna, a small library, and a communal music room. There is free parking available. The location is practical, with easy access by car. The road in front of the property can be a little noisy at times, but it also makes getting in and out very convenient. One feature we appreciated was the layout of the bathroom, with the toilet separated from the shower area, which made getting ready much easier. The property also stood out for several thoughtful touches that made us feel welcome. We found coffee capsules ready for our first morning, fresh apples, baby wipes, a small sewing kit, shower caps, and other useful items that travelers often need but forget to pack. These little details showed genuine care for guests and added to the overall experience. The towels were also spotless and felt fresh and well maintained, reflecting the high standard of cleanliness throughout the property. Overall, this is a charming and unique place with stunning mountain views, excellent communication from the owner, convenient parking, and plenty of character. As long as you are comfortable with stairs and are not particularly tall (or stay in other rooms), it is a lovely place to stay.

There are a few things future guests should be aware of. We stayed in the apartment on the top floor, and while it is lovely, I would not recommend it for elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. The staircase is quite narrow (the steps are relatively small and carpeted, making it challenging to carry heavier luggage up and down). I would also not recommend this apartment for taller guests. My boyfriend is 187 cm tall, and the sloped ceilings were a constant challenge. There are exposed wooden support beams in several areas of the apartment, including the living room/kitchen, and especially the bedroom. He had to be very careful not to hit his head. The kitchen sink area was particularly uncomfortable because of the low ceiling height, and the shower felt somewhat cramped for him as well. At 170 cm tall, I did not have any issues, but taller guests should consider this. The mattresses were extremely soft. We generally prefer softer mattresses, but even for us they were softer than expected. Guests with back problems or those who prefer firmer beds may find them uncomfortable. One aspect that added unnecessary stress to the departure process was the requirement to sort and dispose of all garbage ourselves before check-out. We were asked to separate the waste by type and carry it out ourselves. While this may be common in some vacation rentals, we booked this property through Booking.com as hotel-style accommodation and were surprised by this requirement. Since we were staying in the top-floor apartment, it meant carrying the garbage down the narrow stairs along with our luggage on departure day. It wasn't a major issue, but it did make the check-out process less convenient than expected, particularly considering the price of the stay.

Wonderful host, gorgeous area, and close to the ski lifts. Our room/apartment was cosy and home like, with everything we needed. There property also had both a library/reading room ( with some beautiful books, and board games), as well as a sauna/wellness area to make coming in out of the cold even better. On top of that, I cannot express how welcome we were made to feel. The accommodation was great, and the host, incredible.

Honestly the property was great. There aren’t lots of food options in super close walking distance (we visited in winter), so if visiting without a car, I recommend either researching your food options in advance, or just bringing some groceries for cooking

Tutto era perfetto e curato nei minimi particolari. Host gentilissima. Posizione da cornice.

The owner was very friendly and the view is amazing

We went back to the hotel late that day and had nothing to eat. The landlord sent us her own food. We were really touched. If I have a chance, I will stay here again.

This was a great and spacious apartment in a perfect location to visit Gosausee. The staff were easy to communicate with and very kind. The sauna/ spa area is very nice.

Ubytování s krásným výhledem, dobrý startovní bod pro mnoho výletů.

Very good place Very nice Very clean The owner was very kind

Přístup paní majitelky byl velmi přátelský, vždy s úsměvem poradila a pomohla.

We loved our stay at the hotel, a really friendly hotel owner who met us when we arrived - she was really welcoming and the apartment was beautiful with lots of really thoughtful touches like fresh water, chocolates on pillows and fresh apples. Really easy to find, and a great quiet, peaceful location, super close to the lake! We’d definitely recommend and we’d definitely come again!

Plně vybavená kuchyň, sauna (v ceně), přátelská paní domácí

Pro někoho příliš měkké postele

The location is perfect and the apartment was very comfortable. The host is very personable and went out of her way to ensure that our stay was nice.

Everything was wonderful!

Small and calm apartment hotel with a nice garden and spacious parking spots, managed by a very nice and communicative person.

Water somehow escaped from the shower and made bathroom floor quite wet.

We fell in love with this accommodation at first sight from the pictures. Gosau was everything we dreamed of. Staying at this house, we chose the 2-bedroom Apartment which offered great privacy, making us feel right at home , comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The cleanliness was superb, and it came fully equipped with kitchenware, shower room essentials, a living room, bedrooms, parking, and even a small garden with a mountain view right in front of the house. The host "Louise" was so kind and incredibly hospitable, helping and advising us on everything. We were so lucky to find and stay here for 3 nights. The peaceful and beautiful village of Gosau was the best choice for our trip. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

The host was incredibly attentive and kind. The room was very spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed. If you’re traveling by public transportation, the bus stops literally right in front of the property. We visited Hallstatt and Gosausee without any problems. But the absolute highlight is the view – simply amazing!

The owner of the property was lovely and actually catered to all individual needs. She manages the property alone, and puts so much love and care into every thing. The view was phenomenal!

Could have known if the balcony was there or not earlier.

The host was very helpful

lovely environment with nice host, the view is spectacular. would defo recommend

The bed was a little squeaky in the night

Very congenial host. Apartment is rustic, but very comfortable. Nice view.

Great accomodation, we would definitely recommend and stay again.

It was easy to find since it’s along the main road and all the amenities were perfect for our stay.

None at all.

This charming apartment felt like a cozy retreat, offering everything a family could wish for to feel truly at home. The surroundings were straight out of a dream—like stepping into a living windows wallpaper, with gentle cows ringing their bells across a lush green meadow, framed by the majestic backdrop of snow-capped mountains. Our host was more than gracious, anticipating our needs before we even voiced them, adding a touch of warmth to an already perfect setting. It was, without a doubt, a stay to remember.

Clean, very friendly owner, super location, cozy and beautiful to the last detail.

Dont know…

The host. I made the booking a day before our arrival, and the next day, I asked if by any chance the host had a wheelchair. She said she did not but she would try looking for one for me, although it was going to be very hard considering it was a last minute request and a Saturday afternoon. I didn’t think much about it and assumed that she was just giving a generic response. However, about an hour later, she texted to say that she found someone who was willing to lend one to us, and that too for free. She even offered to drive me there to pick it up when I arrived at the property! Now this is a perfect example of going the extra mile! She went out of her way to help me. She also provided us tips on where we could find decent breakfast without having to pay a king’s ransom given it was a tourist area. The property was a place that resembled a country-side home that we often saw in Western movies. Coming from a concrete jungle, this was a new experience for us. It is situated in a beautiful location surrounded by nature and mountains. It was perfect because it was in between Gosausee and Hallstatt, both a few minutes’ drive away.

The boiler shuts off at a certain time (after 11pm if I remember right), so if you’re thinking of having a late night hot shower, that may not be possible for now. We arrived quite late in the evening and had to check out by the checkout time the next day, so we didn’t have much time to enjoy the property. The host was quite strict about the timings, but she allowed us to place our bags at the check in counter while we went out.

The apartment was very nice and clean, placed near mountains, with a wonderful view, the opportunity of using sauna was great.

The view and location is wonderful

Friendly owner and fabulous design of the house

Will be great if there’re two bathroom in a house

Landlord was extremely friendly and helpful to inform local information and sightseeing places.

If could improve the shower place a little more, it will give a lot more comforts to this vacation home.

Beautiful and spacious apartment. A very comfortable, clean and safe place for travellers. The lady host was so lovely. She went out of her way, she was flexible and accommodating to our needs. I was very impressed by the culture of care from the host and quality of amenities provided. I highly recommend the sauna! It was also lovely that there were fresh blooms in each space.

Wifi was slightly spotty. However, being disconnected from devices is never a bad thing.

The apartment was designed in local style with amazing details. Everything was thought though and we had all we needed. Kitchen was fully equipped, on the table was fresh mint water for us. The apartment was clean and very cozy. Great place to stay with separate exit to the garden and nice place for kids to play. The owners were very respectful and nice to us. The parking was available for free in the territory.

Cosy and well located apartments with everything you need in one of the most beautiful regions of Austria. We travelled as a family of four with two other families and truly enjoyed our time there. Very easy to reach regional sights by car (e.g. Gosauersee or Sonnenalm) and the sauna facilities on site are great to relax in the evening. There is even a very nice play room which the kids enjoyed very much. The host was very friendly and even picked strawberries with my two-year old daughter. We would definitely love to come back.

It's worth noting the facility's gates are kept open so if you are traveling with small children, you need to keep an extra eye on them but that didn't bother us and the owner also kindly kept the main house door closed one day after we spoke with her.

Excellent facility. Really good host
