It’s in a quiet are with lots of amenities. There is minimal traffic going to the hotel and is not far from tourist areas.

BEWARE - This is not a room for sharing with friends and acquaintances. The design of the bathroom is horrible. It is an OPEN concept. While there is a shower stall there is NO SHELF or HOOK to hang your clothes, towel and personal things. You have to step out of the shower stall to change in the OPEN. Therefore there is no privacy. The sink and vanity mirror is right next to the bed. So you can't sleep if your room-mate needs to use it. The room could also do with a writing desk. There was no place to sit and work if this is a work hotel for you.

Great hotel with a convenient location near the Shah Alam LRT Line. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at Mercure Glenmarie. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, while the staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Special thanks to Ms. Yukie for her warm hospitality and excellent service, which made my stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

1. The breakfast menu should consider non-Asian guests. More than 90% of the items were purely for Asian guests (Chinese and Indian). So I just eat egg and jam for the entire days of my stay. 2. I'm not quite sure about the hygiene and maintenance of the swimming pool, because the taste of the water was strange, also there's only one shower and hidden not clear to the guests (i had to call the front desk to ask if there's shower or not and they guided me) so maybe the guest is swimming after doing their gem without taking a bath. and the towel there was not always available.

the house keeping is very poor, the pillow case and the blankets were not being replace, change/ clean after the previous guess check out. This is something that is very terrible, i cant have my good rest due to the bad sweat from the blanket and pillow.

Fun time at Mercure. Excellent food and variety between western meat/protein heavy dishes and Malaysian options. Service from Rushdi was exceptional with a customized teh tarik experience. Meeting rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice environment. Would come back.

We came for Weekend Hi-Tea. Great staff. Variety of food selections. Delicious. I tried a cup of teh tarik prepared by Rusdi. Very good. He was also quite an entertainer. Will come back for sure.

Location is good depending on the meetings you may have in Sha Alam area. It is tru that walking distance food choices is not great, but in 10-15' car drive you have plenty of choices. Its a quiet area as well.

Breakfast was a bit basic for westerners. Fresh fruit was not very tasty, and juice is powder made.

The front desk service a quite slow whenever we call to request for ice, cutleries, or bottles of drinking water. The aircon is not chilly enough even when we set the temperature to the lowest (18℃).

I recently stayed at Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie after booking it for our client from Singapore, and overall it was a comfortable experience. As an Accor Platinum member, I was happy to receive the usual benefits such as a room upgrade, late check-out, and complimentary breakfast. The in-room amenities were also a nice touch, with three complimentary drinks in the minibar as well as some snacks, which made the stay feel more welcoming. The room itself was comfortable and well-kept, with a warm and modern design. It was suitable for a short stay and good enough for rest after a busy day. However, one thing to note for business travellers is that the table setup is combined with the sofa area, so it is not the most practical arrangement if you need to do long hours of work or run a virtual meeting from the room. The staff were friendly and helpful, which definitely added to the positive impression of the stay. The gym was also quite decent. It is not a huge fitness centre, but it is spacious enough and has a reasonable mix of equipment, including treadmills, bikes, benches, dumbbells, and a cable machine. For a hotel gym, I would say it is more than acceptable and good enough for a proper workout. The main downside for me is the location. While it may work if you specifically need to be in this area, it is not particularly strategic for leisure or general convenience. You need to pass through a light industrial area, and it is not close to major malls or tourist attractions. So from that perspective, it feels a bit less convenient compared to other city hotels. Overall, this was still a pleasant stay with comfortable rooms, good member recognition, and friendly service. I would consider staying again if I had business nearby, but perhaps not if I were looking for a more central or lifestyle-oriented location.

I think the door locks should be checked after every guest check out. Mine was spoiled when I checked in. Fortunately, hotel concierge sent a technician to fix it immediately.

Although the bedroom is really nice and comfortable bit the toilet door is very difficult to open. The door.had a ruber lining and it sticks itself to the side. Even for me it is difficult to open and I had to use a lof of force to open. As a 4 star establishmentz one would expect a Continental breakfast spread but there was only Malay style option, mot even varieties of Malaysian food..just malay food. This is disappointing. Unless it is because od the fasting month but even then, you are a 4 star hotel nit a 1 start hotel. The food quality is.poor and slow replenishment of food.
