Ausan Beach Front Cottages

I got to use the wi-fi quite fairly. Airconditioning unit worked well including the hot and cold shower. It felt like you just went out of town on vacation and have not flown to a remote destination except that the view when you wake up is the white sand beach. The staff were all friendly and they could help you out with the tours with reasonable rates. The food here was okay, typical. Good sunset views. I would still recommend staying here but lower down your expectations, they'll be met. Would I stay here again? Probably yes, it was still a good experience overall.

I would have rated the place a good 9 since the location is by the beach and near most of the restaurants but we were advised that we cannot swim by the sea or we can swim at our own risk since there are jelly fish which stings. I know that the electricity could at times be scarce in the island but a TV (with Netflix) could be a good addition for the room as you spend time to rest after the tours and help keep up with the competition versus other resorts and bnbs. We also got locked out of our room (our fault) on Day 1 and unfortunately, with all the spare keys they have in a box for all the rooms, ours didn't have any, so the crew had to force open the knob with all the tactics they've done before. That was quite stressful and tiring for both the staff and guests. I just hope it won't happen to other tourists. We were advised not to leave our stuff outside as there may be thieves around. One of the foreign guests had a minor mishap with her fingernail getting injuted at half past 11PM and sadly, there weren't any crews around (they only work until dinner time - which was probably before 10PM) - there were emergency contact numbers in the room but they honestly didn't respond so it is better if you have your own vehicle to go around Port Barton.

Great location, set slightly back from the beach. A nice spacious terrace to chill on in the evenings. Restaurant and food were lovely and reasonably priced.

After clicking the 'pay' button on booking.com on a non-refundable booking, I was sent a message to say that electricity and water would be limited during my stay. Fortunately, this didn't affect the AC all the time due to the solar power back up but it did affect whether you could use the shower, charge your phone or even see in the bathroom. I had to pay for another hotel on my final night because I could not risk not being able to charge my phone or washing prior to a very long flight. Information about the electricity and water needs to be provided before customers commit to booking.

La ubicación es probablemente la mejor de todo Port Barton muy céntrica y cómoda frente a la playa. Hay aire acondicionado y electricidad continua lo cual es poco común en la zona.

Los aires son viejos y botan mucha agua dentro de la habitación, por lo cual me mojaron enteramente zapatos y ropa. El personal no es particularmente atento, se limitan a hacer únicamente su trabajo sin mucha simpatía

La ubicación es inmejorable, despertarse con las vistas a la bahía y desayunar/comer/cenar viendo el mar es increíble. Por un error administrativo nos dejaron en una habitación de calidad superior con vistas al mar con desayuno y se portaron genial. Tienes todos los bares alrededor caminando por la playa, sitos de masajes, restaurantes.... También ofrecen excursiones, nosotros decidimos realizarla con ellos y fue incréible. El capitan nos hizo el tour evitando zonas masificadas y viendo todo tiempo de animales marinos. Cocinaron en el barco y nos preparon un almuerzo muy top. Ralmente recomiendo la excursión con el personal del hotel.

Al principio cuesta encontrar la puerta de entrada al complejo y que hay avisos constantes de que no te puedes bañar por las medusas.

Ze zeggen dat er overal kwallen zijn waardoor je niet in de zee kan zwemmen. Wij hebben geen kwallen gezien alleen plastic zakjes die op kwallen leken. Doordat je er “niet kan zwemmen”, bieden ze tours aan die je kan gaan doen. Maar je zou prima op het strand kunnen liggen en je hoeft niet perse zo’n tour te doen ;)

Le personnel est très accueillants et nous aide à monter nos bagages jusqu’en haut de la chambre car difficile d’accès. La vue de notre chambre était magnifique avec la roche en face. Lit très confortable

Beach front which is why we booked this. 😉 Reminder on guests about the conservation of water. Amidst of the power interruptions and reminder on the water supply, Ausan made sure that guests were properly accomodated. Appreciate the gesture in giving knife and fork during breakfast to a foreigner but my boyfriend is used to spoon and fork already. 😅

Nothing. We got what we expect in terms of the facilities. Suggestion: Add few more big umbrellas for guests, in case of rain. P.S: We were lucky (hahaha) that it was raining when we left Port Barton and the only 1 umbrella has already borrowed by other guest. Good thing we brought with our raincoats and bag covers.

Room with AC and fan. The fan was better over night than AC. There were wall socket near the bed.

All ACs were a bit noisy. There is i big bar - club next to the hotel with DJ music sets every night so the place is crowded and noisy. Swimming was forbidden because of jellyfishes. So you are in the hotel right in front of the ocean but cannot go to the water.

Exceptional location on the beach. We had a room with balcony on the beach. Good breakfast. Staff took our heavy bags up a steep staircase without us even noticing.

Perfekte Lage direkt am Strand. Freundliches Personal. Eigenes Restaurant mit gutem Essen. Das Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Etwas dunkel, aber man verbringt eh kaum Zeit drinnen.

Einen Punkt Abzug für das Bad. Das Wasser in der Dusche ist gar nicht abgeronnen und auch noch nach zwei Tagen darin gestanden.

Right in the beach, close to everything. They offer all the tours in the hotel for same price at the others so don’t have to go looking around for the best deals.

Hotel proprio sulla spiaggia con vista magnifica. Circondato da locali ottimi per aperitivi e per godersi il tramonto. Ottimi i pancake a colazione! Il direttore inoltre si è messo a disposizione per risolvere un problema che abbiamo avuto con un bagaglio rimasto all'aeroporto di Manila, facendolo recapitare direttamente in stanza. Consigliato!

Рядом кафе, где поют вживую «артисты» один вечер пел оч влюбленный в свой талант тип, который пытался копировать хиты, но у него слабо получилось. Испортил все впечатление. Другие вечера были более тихие и скромные певцы, но все равно они раздражают. Здесь нужна тишина и кайф, хотите этого - не берите номер рядом с популярным кафе и орущими до ночи певцами

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la proximité immédiate de la plage, quel plaisir de prendre son petit déjeuner quasiment les pieds dans le sable. Chambre standard, de taille suffisante avec petite salle de bain pratique. Personnel très sympathique, très à l'écoute et plein de bonnes recommandations.

Le bruit des chambres contiguës peut parfois être gênant.

The location is good and suitable place to chill and relax. Breakfast serve was worth the price as well.

The bed is quite squeaky and may not be suitable to light sleepers.

La stanza un po troppo piccola e poche prese a disposizione e distanti dal letto . Le stanze non le puliscono tutti i giorni, viene fatto solo se lo chiedi, tramite un foglio lasciato da loro in stanza.

Camera poco silenziosa, il rumore del Mare e’ piacevole ma le chiacchiere notturne dei vicini sul terrazzino esterno condiviso no. Suggerirei di mettere un regolamento che inviti al silenzio dopo un certo orario .

Sengen var hård, vi kunne ikke bade ved stranden på grund af box jellyfish (ikke deres skyld), maden var middelmådig.

Die Lage direkt am Strand ist unbezahlbar! Die Klima hat immer funktioniert und auch Warmwasser war vorhanden.

Das Zimmer ist sehr spehrlich eingerichtet, das Bett mit einer sehr dünnen Matraze. Das Restaurant war mittelmässig, in Port Barton gibt es 100 bessere Orte. Am Abend kann es laut werden, da es in der Bar direkt neben dem Hotel live Musik gibt. Die Wände sind, wie schon von anderen beschrieben, sehr ringhörig.

De locatie is top (ligt echt aan het strand), je valt met het geluid van de zee in slaap. Ontbijt ook dik oké!

Airco maakt veel lawaai, kamer raakt moeilijk afgekoeld. Ook veel mieren in de badkamer.

Rien à voir avec les photos

L' emplacement , juste en bord de mer ..avec le bruit des vagues pour s'endormir. Personnel souriant et très disponible.. Le chambre correspondait aux photos , équipement sommaire et correspondant à la description.

Impossible de se baigner devant l' hôtel car le personnel vous alerte très rapidement sur le risque de méduse et vous recommande de ne pas vous baigner.(Début février et nous n en avons pas vu)

Die Lage ist unschlagbar – direkt am Strand. Frühstück mit den Füßen im Sand ist einfach großartig. Alles läuft sehr unkompliziert ab, das Hotel ist sehr sauber und besonders praktisch: Massage- und Nagelangebote direkt im Haus.

Die Zimmer sind eher funktional eingerichtet, und die Möbel wirken teilweise etwas älter. Wer viel Wert auf modernes Design legt, könnte das bemerken – der Komfort stimmt aber.

To much noise by night until 5AM. Room small bad. Breakfast was included, but I asked for the continental breakfast and they told me, for guest, continental breakfast is just 4 pieces of toast, jam and butter.

Wir waren für zwei Nächte im Ausan Beach Front Cottages und wir waren super zufrieden. Die Lage direkt am Strand war traumhaft, das Hotel sah sehr hübsch aus und das Personal war einfach sensationell. Eines unserer Gepäcke kam nicht an und sie haben uns diesbezüglich sehr unterstützt. Ausserdem wurde ich kurz nach Ankunft im Hotel krank und das Personal hat sich unglaublich liebevoll um mich gekümmert. Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich sehr weiterempfehlen.

Fabulous location opposite sea front with beautiful views. On checking out at 6am the Staff left fruits and coffees for us on our veranda, a really lovely touch. Room had a charm and lots of mural and wood features. Excellent VFM

No, just a FYI they said swimming not allowed in front of the property as lots of jellyfish signs however, swimming safer along the beach. Not the properties fault but just a tip if you think you can just go in, also the boat tours moor there. Bed mattress a little thin if I needed to find an improvement to our stay, but wasn't worried.
