Ruime mooie kamer met vriendelijk personeel

Locatie, dicht bij het centrum, maar toch rustig

Vieze vlekken in de gordijnen en op meubilair. Stoffige kasten. Leeslampjes bij het bed werkten niet.

Personal sehr unflexibel bei Änderunswünschen. Hotel ist originell, sehr modern eingerichtet aber sehr unpraktisch. In unserem Doppelzimmer gab es keinen Haken für Kleidung oder einen Kleiderbügel. Wir lebten aus unseren Koffern auf dem Fussboden. Sauberkeit mangelhaft. Bad war so klein, dass man zum Zähneputzen ins Wohnzimmer an eine Art Küchenspüle wechseln musste. Duschkabinentür war wohl defekt und wurde dann einfach ersatzlos weggelassen. Frühstück war ok, aber auch hier noch verbesserungsfähig. Lage 2 Minuten von Moschee entfernt und ca. 20 Minuten vom Stadtzentrum. Parkplatze nur solange der Vorrat reicht.

Voor mij de ligging. Ik moest in het Stadsklooster zijn. Vanuit mijn kamer aan de voorzijde had ik zicht op het Stadsklooster, dus beter kon niet. Het ontbijt was ook heerlijk!

The apartment we stayed in was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals. Also the staff was responsive and helpful, and we liked the neighborhood.

We have a 2 year old, and he really liked the stairs but they were too steep for him. Also the high table wouldn’t fit a high chair. I would advise families with younger toddlers to maybe pick a different apartment or room.

El personal es encantador, sobre todo una chica española que trabajaba allí de Barcelona. Desde el alojamiento puedes alquilar las bicis locales y es muy fácil moverte por la ciudad. La habitación muy limpia, amplia y habitaciones cómodas.

Quizá que la zona tiene una parte algo mala para volver por la noche.

The staff at the reception are extremely kind and helpful. On the first night, the AC unit in my room started leaking, and they gave me the best room they had, and also helped me move all my unpacked luggage. I really liked my original room as it had a desk to work on, so I requested if I could be moved back once the issue was resolved; and they did just that. Given that the hotel is in a former monastery, the building is beautiful, and they have retained quite a bit of the original architecture. The beds are super comfortable as well, and the courtyard is wonderful to hang out in/ work/ have a coffee/ drink. Lombok is a vibrant neighbourhood, so everything from super markets to eateries are walking distance.

The cleaning staff could be better. They only changed sheets once I asked them to (I had a 13 days stay), and vacuumed when I requested through the reception.

Die ruhige Umgebung!

We thought that the location and look of the hotel was beautiful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, and the family room that we stayed in was really spacious, and a really great base for seeing Utrecht. It was a beautiful walk into the city centre, and I did lots of running out from here which I really loved. We also chose this hotel for the secure parking, as we were stopping here in the middle of a European road trip.

It would have been better if there was more restaurant facilities on site, although there was a nice cafe. We could have done with a bit more choice of food, but other than that it was all good.

locatie in de lombok wijk: levendig en multicultureel, gezellig. 20 minuutjes wandelen naar het centrum. Parking is heel handig, maar kost wel geld en je kan niet reserveren. Bed is zeer goed. Ontbijt ook zeer lekker en uitgebreid, aan een correcte prijs.

Ik had een éénpersoonskamer en betaalde hiervoor 165 euro. De kamer voelde bijzonder krap aan en de foto's op de website zijn misleidend. Het bed lijkt in de ruimte gewrongen. Het meest absurde was de "badkamer" : dit is een mini-rechthoekige ruimte met douche en toilet bij elkaar gepropt, tegenover elkaar gelegen, zonder enig tussenschot of gordijn of ... : als je dus een douche neemt, is heel het toilet doorweekt en is de vloer van die miniruimte volledig doorweekt. Men noemt dit een inloopdouche, maar het is gewoon een te kleine ruimte om als badkamer te fugeren. De "badkamer" voelde ook niet echt proper aan, er lagen drie zwarte haren op de toiletbril. Ik had op hetzelfde moment voor mijn ouders een dubbele tweepersoonskamer geboekt. De tweepersoonskamer was veel ruimer en mooier ingericht en daar was wel een volwaardige badkamer, er waren zelfs twee wasbakken. echt absurd, zeker aangezien het prijsverschil tussen de éénpersoons en tweepersoonskamers niet eens zo groot was. Eerlijk gezegd, ik voel me als alleenstaande randje gediscrimineerd. De éénpersoonskamer is veel te duur voor wat het is. Ok dat je dit verhuurt, maar aan een lage prijs: dit is maximaal niveau jeugdherberg en niet hip boetiekhotel.

De kamer was door keuzes wat basic. Wastafel buiten de badkamer. Gladde vloer van steen maar geen badslippers. Beetje donker door alleen kelderraam.

El hotel está bien, la verdad es q es un concepto chulo, ya que es un antiguo monasterio y es original. La zona de la recepción está muy bien. Personal muy amable y las camas cómodas. Una buena opción para visitar Utrecht. Tiene una buena calidad precio y no se tarda mucho andando al centro.

Claramente no corresponde a un 4 estrellas por muchos motivos.... Hay zonas de pasillos que estan muy bien pero otras no, escaleras y ascensores algo descuidados. Nuestra habitación estaba bastante bien, nueva y limpia, pero muy bàsica, poco acogedora. Aire acondicionado caliente que no funciona bien, teníamos frio y los aparatos de fuera se oyen mucho por la noche. Falta alguna cortina mas transparente porque o te quedas a oscuras o te ve todo el mundo. Se ve que hotel lo están reformado por partes. Recomiendo para ir al centro evitar pasar por los tuneles y hacerlo por la estación.

La chica que nos atendió fue muy amable y accedió a cambiarnos de habitación.

La primera habitación que nos tocó medía dos metros por cuatro, pequeñísima, no se podía circular en ella, las ventanas no se abrían y daban al parking. Está lejos del centro, el parking del hotel cuesta 30€ y el desayuno 22€. La relación calidad precio es pésima.

Room was next to the parking and early noise

Mooi ingerichte kamer, lekker bed, airco, geen lawaai en erg goed ontbijt. Sfeervolle ambiance.

We konden geen parkeerplek meer krijgen bij het hotel helaas. Zelf uitgevonden dat we in Oog in Al op tien minuutjes lopen gratis konden staan.

Das Frühstück war toll.

Het pand is prachtig, in een leuke wijk van Utrecht, op loopafstand van het station. De inrichting is stijlvol. Parkeerplaats achter het hotel ook een pluspunt.

De kamer was echt stukken kleiner dan op de foto’s werd getoond. Er stond wel dat de werkelijkheid kon afwijken van de foto’s, maar dit was wel een heel groot verschil. Wij bleven een nachtje, waardoor het niet zo erg was. Als je er langer verblijft, zou het storend zijn.

Я интересовался услугами прачечной. Оказалось их нет. Все ок, это не проблема и я не считаю это минусом. Просто когда путешествуешь с семьей и детьми, порой бывает нужно. И в такой момент было бы очень удобно если в отеле была бы такая услуга. Пусть даже платная, я бы заплатил-)

A big positive was the early check-in: our room was already available, and the hotel kindly let us check in early. Travelling with two young children, this made a real difference and was very much appreciated.

Unfortunately, the overall experience did not match our expectations for a four-star hotel in this price range. Service felt reactive rather than attentive or proactive: we arrived with two children and a lot of luggage, yet no one offered to help. At breakfast, we had to ask for a high chair, which was not clean and had to be cleaned and disinfected by us. The next morning, we simply got it ourselves. Breakfast was good but nothing exceptional, with some items slow to be replenished. The room also felt quite dated, with worn furniture and some cleanliness issues.

The breakfast ist really nice. Over all the momentary character is so impressive.

The ownership changes to a more commodity style hotel. We booked this time the small rooms for one person - they are really small - too small for me.

Location and Personal

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the mattresses and pillows were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

Parking The paid parking was poorly managed. Despite having booked and paid for parking well in advance, we arrived to find that there was no space available. This was not a one-off issue; we had to resolve the same problem every time we left the parking lot and returned in the evening. At €25 per day, this was particularly frustrating for guests who had already reserved and paid for parking. The hotel should avoid selling more parking spaces than it actually has available and should enforce its parking rules more strictly, so that unauthorized or incorrectly parked vehicles do not occupy spaces reserved for paying guests. Family Room Both bedrooms were very small, with the beds taking up most of the available space and surrounded by walls on three sides. The twin beds could only be accessed from one side, making it awkward to get in and out. The toilet room was also extremely small and cramped, with an even smaller washbasin that was inconvenient to use. There was no shelf or surface in the bathroom for placing personal care products.

We did not have breasfast as it was only buffet and started at 8 o'clock, and as we went for a convention, 8 o'clock was to late. The convention was in the jaarbeurs, so the location was perfect because its only a 10 min walk to the jaarbeurs.

The staff was very nice and helpfull, the Hotel is also in walking distance from the city.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr gut, war sauber und hatte nettes, zuvorkommendes Personal.

Wir waren zu fünft und hatten zwei Doppelzimmer und ein Einzelzimmer gebucht. Die Preisdifferenz zwischen EZ und DZ lag in Summe bei ca. 30 € für zwei Übernachtungen und das ist -sorry- ziemlich frech.

Ambiente caratteristico in un antico monastero, camere spaziose e ben arredate. Letti comodi e camera silenziosa.

Colazione cara, abbiamo avuto fortuna perchè soggiornando di domenica il parcheggio nelle vie circostanti era gratuito altrimenti molto costoso (circa 6€/ora), possibilità di parcheggiare anche nella struttura ma non sempre ci sono posti disponibili e comunque a prezzi alti. Per arrivare in centro città ci vogliono circa 20 minuti a piedi.

Das Hotel ist gut gelegen in dem szenigen Viertel Lombok. Es ist in einem historischen Gebäude untergebracht mit modernem Komfort. Im offenen Innenhof kann man entspannt essen oder den Tag ausklingen lassen. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel und geräumig.

Die Parkplätze sind begrenzt.

Die Atmosphäre in dem ehemaligen Kloster hat uns sehr gut gefallen! Alles ist wunderbar restauriert und stellt somit einen herrlichen Mix aus historisch und modern da! Von dem Gängen aus, die überall kleine Relikte der Vergangenheit zeigen, kann man in den wunderschönen Innenhof schauen! Dieser sieht auch zum verweilen ein! Dabei können ein kleiner Imbiss und Getränke aus der Hotelbar verzerrt werden!

Goede bedden en meubilair, vriendelijk personeel, airco zowel in de woonkamer als slaapkamer en alles was heerlijk schoon en ook stil. We konden onze bagage nog een dag in de opslag laten en deze savonds ophalen. Ook is het gezellig zitten op een rustig en sfeervol binnenplein. We hadden salades en lasagne gegeten, helemaal prima!

Niks veel tegen! We zijn in erg veel hotels geweest maar dit was echt heel goed.

Alles war wunderbar

Ontzettend vriendelijk personeel. Lekker dichtbij het centrum. Ik had een loft voor 3 personen geboekt. Alleen was het nu zo dat ik op de bovenverdieping zou moeten slapen waar ik met een trap omhoog moest en waar ik niet kon staan. Dit was niet dezelfde kamer als die ik via booking.com op de foto’s terug kon zien. Ik heb een schouderoperatie gehad wasrdoor het voor mij onmogelijk was om daar te slapen. Omdat alles vol geboekt zat van dezelfde soort kamers kregen we twee aparte kamers, elk met balkon. Dat was ontzettend fijn en aardig, dus goed opgelost. Daar was ik dankbaar voor.

Het was helaas niet super schoon, wat stoffig en op de badkamer was de fohn vies en er lagen nog haren in de badkamer. En er was een riool geur. Ik heb dat doorgegeven en ze zouden er naar laten kijken. Dus ik hoop dat dat opgelost is. Ik heb maar 1 overnachting gehad. De andere kamer was ook iets minder goed schoon maar geen riool geur. Het bed was fijn om te slapen en schoon dus dat vond ik het belangrijkste. Ook fijn dat de wc apart zat vak de badkamer.

It was as nice enough for one night.

The A/C was loud a blew directly on to the bed. Made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

The ambience of the building and breakfast area was very nice! The location was very convenient and quiet (except for the churchbell ringing). We rented a quin loft for 5 people, which was a perfect size for our family.

The biggest issue we had was with the door to our apartment as it didn't automatically lock half the time. We experienced several times of returning to our room and finding the door unlocked. After raising the issue with staff we were promised a technician taking care of the issue, but sadly found the door unlocked yet again after returning home. We would advise to properly check every time you leave, secure your belongings and talk to staff should this be not just an outlier experience.

Ontbreekt aan stopcontact aan ook de andere kant van het bed en een grote spiegel zou wel prettig zijn. En het kastje op badkamer zit voor de wc in de weg

Das Hotel scheint ein aufgelassenes Kloster am Rande der Innenstadt von Utrecht zu sein. Unser Loft befand sich in einem Nebengebäude. Sehr ruhige Lage in einer verkehrsberuhigten Straße. Zimmer sind gut dimensioniert. Nettes Personal. Falls man mit dem Auto anreist, empfiehlt es sich unbedingt einen Hotelparkplatz zu reservieren! (Tipp: Den restlichen Aufenthalt das Fahrzeug stehen lassen und auf Leihräder umsteigen!)

Die Stiegen im Loft sind typisch für die Niederlande sehr steil (für mobilitätseingeschränkte Personen daher nicht geeignet). Frische Handtücher und Toilettenpapier mussten aktiv eingefordert werden, war dann aber überhaupt kein Problem und wurde prompt gebracht. Das Sofa dürfte schon einiges erlebt haben...

The studio was perfect for my children and I, the boys loved the upstairs room. Great blackout curtains too.

Paid parking

Nice hotel, good location near the station and 20 min walk to the center along the canal. Receptionist Beer was really helpful, she had a great customer service attitude.

Estábamos alojados en un apartamento. La limpieza regular, suelo estaba pegajoso. El sofá lleno de manchas. El hecho de tener el inodoro en el piso de abajo y la ducha en el de arriba no era nada funcional.

En Utrech, es muy complicado poder alojarse por el centro (aparcamiento, precios). Por eso, The Anthony, nos ofreció una gran relación calidad/precio. La habitación para 4x era muy espaciosa, y estaba muy limpia. Las camas eran muy comodas. La ubicación era excelente, a unos 15-20 minutos caminando al centro, y paseando por la calle Kanaalstraat se hace más amena. El restaurante era muy grande y con una terraza muy chula (aunque no comimos alli) Lo recomendamos 100% para familias.

Quizas el precio del desayuno era un poco caro, y el baño de la habitación era un poco extraño (aunque nada molesto)

Zeer mooi hotel, vriendelijk personeel en onze kamer was ook mooi. Ontbijt heerlijk. Kunnen parkeren bij hotel.

Van het hotel helemaal niks, heel fijn hotel!. Alleen als je richting centrum loopt, dus het begin van de wijk vinden wij de wijk wat minder, bovendien moet je onder het centraal station doorlopen door een tunnel. Overdag goed te doen, savonds hebben wij een taxi/Uber heen en terug genomen. Misschien een fiets huren bij het hotel, zou ook een optie kunnen zijn.

The bathroom and shower were separate. There was a sink in the living room but no soap at it. You had to keep your toiletries in the living area as there was no room in the bathroom. Some shelves in the bathroom would solve this. There were no bedside lockers or shelves to put your phone/books etc. it’s a good walk to the centre and the street feels a bit dodgy at times. Breakfast wasn’t included even though it was quite expensive.

We stay here regularly to visit family nearby. It is now a home from home. We know the excellent staff and they are always very welcoming. The rooms are on the basic side but comfortable enough. We generally book a twin room which is in fact two rooms with a small sitting area. The location is ideal for us but the hotel is a bit outside central Utrecht so may not be ideal for those who want to be nearer the City centre.

We had a beautiful Trip. The Room was clean, only a bit of mold in the shower. We loved the design of the rooms and the outdoor court behind the breakfast room.

It’s twenty minutes by foot to the city center. Take the way along the channel. The atmosphere is more relaxed than staying in the city center.

Location and the restaurant area

The room was below basic the mattress was uncomfortable .i was in prison cell room 4 They said it’s economy. I think for a 110 euros it was a 1 star room.

Die Sauberkeit der Zimmer war ungenügend. Überall Staub und selbst Socken und Müll vom vorherigen Gast unter dem Bett.
