Victoria Inn Flin Flon

Restaurant was closed when we checked in for party. Receptionist was horrible at check in. Had to walk half mile for food at 6.30 pm. Next day restaurant was open and good for breakfast and new girl receptionist was great. Greg

Front desk clerk disengaged on check in and did not feel at all welcoming. No questions from another clerk on checkout about how our stay was. Floors in room were filthy, both the carpeting and tile which was so sticky! Bathroom was so tiny there was barely room to turn around. Beds were ok, towels and linens were clean. Overall I’m disappointed as I feel that hotel doesn’t care about guest comfort and price does not reflect quality. Maybe it’s because they are the only hotel of any significance in the area that they don’t care?

The pool was clean and the room was fairly clean as well. The staff upon check in were not very welcoming and not helpful. The staff at check out was very welcoming.

Hotel staff were very friendly, bed had a minor dip in the middle- making it kind of uncomfortable but overall clean and good!

sucked

Friendly and helpful staff!

They make a delicious lasagna

I didnt like the bathroom way to small, i felt like the rug in main area was dirty old. I was stuffed up, the allergies really effected me in that room.

Good hotel

It is showing its age so have a little difficulty seeing the value giving the cost.

The neighboring room was noisy all night long did not sleep.

Had a nice stay!

Great bar

Nice Hotel

Close to where I needed to be.

Found it overpriced at 235.00 for a one night stay for a medical reason

Always pleasant stay here…clean quiet and restaurant has great food…no complaints from me….

Checked into one room and the heater/ac unit died (froze up). It was minus 22 c so no ones fault. Moved to another room. Went to make a coffee and there was an old Keurig pod in the machine from last guest.

Quiet, safe, comfortable very easy to talk to stuff

Pretty decent place

The hotel rooms are dated but pretty clean. It’s overpriced for sure but there is no competition in the area. Usually the restaurant was good but this time the chicken I ordered was raw. I had to send it back. That was a disappointment.

Only hotel I’ve ever stayed at with no microwave in the room… one communal one for all guest only

not recommended, front desk are miserable

nicest hotel in the area

way overpriced for what you get.

Hotel is a little tired but OK. Overpriced for the location and condition of property and other hotels in Flin Flin. Room was clean by the carpet is old and needs a steam clean. No elevator, but only had to go up one flight of stairs. If you want main floor book a king room. Breakfast in restaurant was good.

Good location and friendly staff.

Really expensive for a below basic hotel but such is life in the north.

The property is conveniently located to shopping.

No elevator so if you have heavy luggage, the main floor is preferred so you don’t have to do stairs.

Staff was friendly. Dining room food was good. Hotel rugs were stained and dirty. Someone had been smoking in the hallway on our first evening. Beds were uncomfortable.

Was good for the town its in felt a bit overpriced though

The room was nice and comfortable. The bed was great. Nicely updated and clean. .

A little overpriced for the area. We were stuck for a place to stay on short notice and have stayed here many years before, so we decided to stay again

The first room they gave us was dirty. Hair on the pillow, spots on the bed sheets and smelled leak old smoke and cigarettes. Some staff at the front desk was short and rude. Some were good. The restaurant and their staff were great.

.

Helpful, friendly staff. Clean, decent sized room. Quiet. The bed was very comfortable!

No elevator for bringing luggage to upper floor.

Breakfast reasonably priced and generous serving

Walls are a little thin

Great staff, clean room.

The stay was fine, the air conditioner was a bit noisy, the restaurant was fine also.

I loved this hotel. It was clean, roomy, and the staff was so friendly. It was really one of the highlights of our trip. Very comfortable beds.

Nice place, clean and felt safe!

Hotel staff did not make up room after second night. Shower was never cleaned during the stay. Even the day they made up the room, they did not properly make the bed.

Took longer than it shpukd have to check in. Had to get keys reprogrammed a few times and bathroom door was in disrepair but otherwise a pretty average hotel.

Great service, staff was very friendly.

Victoria Inn hotel in Flin Flon is the best place in town. We came to town to watch the legendary Bombers play. It's an older place but its clean and staff is friendly and really this is the best lodging in town. There is a good restaurant in the building and staff is nice. Not a Marriot or a Holiday Inn, but when I'm back in Flin Flon I will come back and stay here.

Oh

The room is very comfortable . Having dining facilities on site that allowed a mini reunion of family to be accommodated in quiet are was appreciated.

Only hotel I’ve ever stayed at that didn’t have a microwave in the room. They do have a shared one for the entire hotel….

Checking. In

Enjoyed our stay

Location and quiet

N/a

The hotel was ok but I felt maybe details were not be taking care of and just the basics were getting done.

Room was dirty. Toilet wasn’t cleaned

We have stayed numerous times at this hotel due to work as there are not that many options in Flin Flon in the winter. The hotel has a sign that states 110% clean... well from our experience, the rooms have never been 100% clean, so I thought I would write a review from our last stay. There was hair and grime in the bathroom (tub, floor, sink...) We moved a chair to watch TV and it looked like it had not been moved for a while and needed a good vacuum. The bed closest to the wall which we did not need was broken. The rooms we have stayed in really do need an update too. Most times I would review this hotel at 3, but this time was worse. Before writing this review, I did email the manager at the hotel a couple of times to let them know our experience and they did not respond. That is why I decided to write a review.

There was some hair still the shower area

Nice place. Staff are friendly.

Good location. Very comfortable. Staff professional, kind and helpful. Very good restaurant onsite. Pool was very nice as well.

Was a great experience my family an I came into town late the lady at the front desk was very fast and efficient even help with were we could get food that late at night rooms are very clean bed were the best

No meals eaten

The bathroom floor was dirty and there was a strange smell in the room when I arrived

No issues, clean and quiet.

The room was musty smelling

Place was nice and quant a bit outdated but clean n free of any kuddies. Staff were nice n provided information and felt welcoming.

The chair was ripped up in our room, we had no blankets in the room, there were clothes left from a previous guest in the dresser drawer and empty cigarette cases and pill bottles in the bedside table. After we informed the staff, a cleaning person assured me they would come up and remove the clothes, but they did not. The woman at the front desk during the day was the only bright spot at this hotel and apologized, but was not able able to get anything remedied. She was wonderful and friendly. The evening desk person finally brought 2 blankets after complaining that she had to go to the 1st floor and bring them to the third floor. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL! We were extremely disappointed!!!

I booked a room in advance. When i arrived, my service from the front desk was not all that great. She was not very specific as to what type of ID she needed for check in and raised her voice a little. I am not deaf, I just needed to know what she wanted. Then she forgot to do the paperwork, so I had to walk back to the desk to fill the paper out. (ie/vehicle description). When I arrived for check in, the room that was assigned to me was not prepared/cleaned. So I waited till another room was assigned to me. I was than assigned a room on the top floor. There is no elevators. The layout of the building was confusing…the floors/stairs were like a maze. To top my stay off…the fire alarm went off on Sunday August 13, 2023 at 1am. The alarm was fairly loud in the hallway but I could hardly hear the alarm from inside my room. The alarm was activated from the attached bar area. When we all had to go outside to wait for the fire department to clear the building..there was no respect from the bar attendees as they kept yelling and screaming while in the parking lot. Overall, I did not appreciate my stay and I most likely will not return to this place to stay.

It was great.

The Victoria Inn was very clean and comfortable. I felt safe on the property. The pool and hot tub after a long day of driving was excellent.

Hotel is older room was clean beds are comfortable, pool is great way to cool down at the end of a hot day

Located near a shopping area and a Museum.

Room had a distinct smoke smell, check in staff were not super friendly and found cobwebs around outlet plugs when going to plug in phone. The bathroom was tiny, a larger person would have trouble closing the door to do their business.

It was fine

Just an average older hotel. Good food.

Very nice staff

Clean and nice staff

The staff was so helpful and super friendly. The restaurant was closed and so the front desk lady suggested we go try mikes ice and burger place just down the road!! Food was great!

Everything in good condition. Not so easy for someone with a cane.

We’ve stayed at this property multiple times before hopping a plane at Wings. Always friendly staff and the restaurant Kelsey’s can be relied on for a good meal or two.

Great restaurant. Not cosmetically pleasing from the outside but rooms are just as nice (and clean) as any!

Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean fresh smelling, abit aged could use little upgrade. Restaurant ,service was fast and food tasty. Restaurant staff very polite and friendly

Flin Flon’s finest hotel

Good bathroom a little too small

Excellent

Clean, quiet, and very friendly and accommodating staff.

Clean and comfortable

One of the better properties in the area but room had an odour to it and the bathroom was not as clean as air would expect. Hot tub was down.

Did not go to breakfast. So can't comment.
