La situation, juste en face des petits restaurants, Food court, et supermarchés, très pratique. Un bel hôtel face à la mer, une allée à circulation douce tout le long de la plage, très calme avec une bonne literie

Dommage que l'hôtel ne possède pas quelques installations (tentes ou transats) sur la plage.

The hotel does not have adequate temperature control and it was 80 degrees in our room all night long. We called the front desk and asked for them to fix the AC. They changed our room but it had the same problem. Essentially the unit would not cool past 26C. Way to hot for a luxury hotel. What was worse was they tried to gaslight us in saying that it takes up to an hour after checkin to have the AC work. After three hours it was still warm and had actually gone up. We had been traveling for 28 hours and were exhausted and needed to rest but couldn't because it was hot and muggy and gross. I would not recommend this hotel or stay here again.

The room was freezing and needed dusting when we first got there and they informed us that they had turned off the heating. They did however provide a heater. The food was as poor from breakfast to dinner. Lots of dry food that felt like it had been left out. The most disappointing thing was that despite the forecast being warm , being there in April and over a public holiday, the hotel had drained the pool and we had no information about this prior

Breakfast was great. Coffee needed to be more easily accessible. I had to ask for a cup. Why not have self-service coffee? Rooms was nice. I liked the location, next to the beach and running path. Really nice.

It would have been nice to have screens on the sliding door, so I could have fresh air without having to worry about mosquitos. I had to ask for coffee packets. None were supplied when I arrived. I would have liked to have swum in the pool, but it was closed.

Our family visited China and had an extended stay at the Xiamen Marriott. We were very grateful for the warm hospitality of the staff at the Xiamen Marriott. A special moment was when the staff at the restaurant gave my son a tour of the family as he loves to bake. The resort is well set up for families with young kids - as there is a kids play room, indoor pool and several outdoor pools including a water slide. We enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back again for a night in the winter during the beginning of our trip here.

Excellent location, very friendly and attentive staff. Rooms are spacious and equipped with a mini fridge. I only wished the breakfast included more international option aside from cheese and bread ab.

The indoor pool was good, water temperature is child friendly but other than that nothing really impressed me.

The cleanliness is very poor, when I checked in, the toilet bowl and its cover was still covered with dried urine stain, the floor was cover with dusk. Stayed for 3 nights and breakfast was horrible. Room furniture layout is really child unfriendly. In summary, its the worst Marriott I ever came across.

Warm welcome with biggest smile . The staff really took care of us too much and made a wonderful stay for us. Love xiamen, love Xiamen Marriott. Will definitely come back again and introduce this amazing hotel to every friend of mine .

I do hope people this review with a pleasant mood, coz we know convid-19 made all of us tension and stressful. if you are planning a short vacation which is easier for you and your family,pls pls come to this hotel. here I could feel like at home and associate like Amber the front office manager who is the asset to this property show me she really care about me, very helpful suggestions gives to me as I've not been to Xiamen for a while,that's the hospitality is. Nice designs and guest room is neat and tidy. facilities are in premium level.

This resort is located along romantic coastline. The resort is surrounded by some beautiful and clean beach and parks. A mall called Sunshine city is behind this resort. You can take bus 694 route to metro station. The resort has canal pools and one big indoor pool. Marriott titanium member received a room upgrade to a suite and free high-standard full breakfast buffet with a variety of local and western cuisines. Either rooms or public area was decorated luxuriously. Staffs are very accommodating. Overall, this resort can be absolutely up to Ritz Carlton level in the North America.

This resort was the perfect weekend get away for us. The pools, the service, the attention to detail were superb. Kyo was one of the managers that greeted us upon arrival and continued to check in on us during the stay and was very personable, reliable and accommodating. Fantastic service from the team. I definitely recommend this as a nice get away. The only down side is the distance from the city and the tourists items, but if you want to just relax, the pools are perfect!

Stayed 6nights as part of my business trip. The rooms are generally split into two different wings. The room is really huge and comes with a large balcony as well! Basic amenities are all provided. Downside is that you certainly need to take a cab to Xiamen downtown. Generally very comfortable stay.

The area that attracted me back to this hotel during most of my Xiamen business trip is the friendly and excellent service staffs, from the front desk, international, Japanese restaurants and the fish bar. I think this is the most important of all, they will try their best to assist me on all my requests and needs.... I will also like to thanks the front desk Ms. Alina to alway take an extra miles in all the assist and help so as to achieve a wonderful and comfortable stay for me. Last year during my family vacation trips to Xiamen, I had also booked these hotel for all of them (around 5rooms), feedback from my families are also nice, wonderful and comfortable stay that they will alway miss.

Nothing to say particularly as a resort. The swimming pool, gym, and bars are not open due to the virus, which make it a little bit boring in the suburban area. The breakfast buffet is also limited. Expecting croissants in the early morning, they don’t provide that either.

We are 2 Titanium Elite members who booked Xiamen Marriott Hotel and Conference Centre mostly because of excellent reviews that we read. And we can confirm all of them, the ocean front location and the views from the hotel are breath taking and the running path that is just in front of a hotel is excellent for walking and jogging. The hotel grounds are in a perfect shape and variety and food offering was excellent. The most important aspect why we felt in love with this property is outstanding care for guests. From one side we were unfortunate to arrive in China few days before the Coronavirus situation dramatically escalated. But on the other side we were so happy to be in this hotel that really took care of us in this difficult situation. Especially Front Desk Manager Mrs. Vita Huang made us feel safe by providing us the masks that we were not able to buy by ourselves because of not having Chinese ID cards. She was always offering her help and we knew it that if we need anything we could contact her. Thank you Mrs. Huang for everything what you have done and your masks that help us safely return home. Finally due to the situation with flights being canceled we had to leave hotel 2 days before the planned check-out date. And even though we paid our stay with points and therefore had non-refundable rate, they promised to refund us points for the unused 2 days. We appreciate this very much because it proves that Xiamen Marriott Hotel and Conference Centre dos not use this difficult situation with Coronavirus to profit. We are so looking forward for our future stays in this property.

My second time in Xiamen, both times staying at the Xiamen Marriott resort. There are similar properties in Shenzhen and Sanya, and the layout of this hotel is great, with a running track and beach walk right behind the hotel, perfect for evening walks. Thanks to all the hardworking staff at this property that makes this place welcoming, clean, and high quality, especially to Michelle Xu and Toby He for helping my parents. Overall, great hotel, very relaxing, nice rooms; hope to be back one day soon.

Very clean room and nice staffs. Truly thanks for ther kindness. They even prepared lunch box for early checkouters due to morning flight and i really appreciate it. Good view and beautiful garden and terrace. Everything was perfect. Defenitely recommend to stay here for anyone who's planning to visit Xiamen.

It’s my first time came to Xiamen, Linda and Vita at the front desk were a wonderful help. I asked a ton of questions and they provided me service patiently with a smile. They made my first trip memorable, and hope to see them again if I return to Xiamen. The hotel was clean, spacious, with many amenities and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful , and also I would like to especially thanks to guest service manager -Vera wang arrange everything I need . All in all a great experience and would definitely recommend Xiamen Marriott hotel and conference center without hesitation!

Stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks ago. I have stayed in many Marriott properties around the world but this has to be one of the best if not the best. Rooms were big, spacious and well appointed. Location was wonderful right by the sea. Great walking around in the evening. Cannot recommend enough. Thoroughly enjoyed my time.

We had a most wonderful stay here, our room was spacious, clean and facilities were new. All staff were welcoming and accommodating, with a smile on their faces. Special thanks to concierge Richard Lin - he was very patient and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a few Xiamen dishes to try. While the location was slightly far from a few of the city's tourist spots, it was more than compensated for by the beautiful view we had over the ocean. Would highly recommend a morning jog or walk by the beach at sunrise if you're an early bird - it was so serene and the view made me feel like I was holidaying on an exotic island.

Great environment for a vacation, short walking distance to a quite beach area with beautiful ocean and city view. A nice email from Alina Lyu at Guest Service pre- arrival, good elite member recognition and room upgrade. The Bonvoy chat service was superb, quick responses and services. Front desk check in was efficient and friendly, Queenie was very professional and knowledgeable. The Chinese restaurant Man Ho is highly recommended, the reception hostesses are always welcoming and considerate. The food is always tasty and fresh, young servers are very attentive and polite. Dottie, Felice, Grace all made great impressions. Try to avoide weekend if you want to enjoy a quiet environment.

We had a fantastic stay at this Marriot hotel. Incredible ammenities and super friendly and supporting staff. Appreciation to Kevin, Tracy, Alina and Jasmine for their incredible arrangements for my wife´s birthday!

I hesitated about this hotel, thougt it was too far away. It is 30-40 min from center (but close to airport and Xiamen North station), but the hotel is clean, fresh, modern, big rooms, wonderful views, you feel like Florida or Tenerife, yet close to the city by Didi or taxi. Nice people, good food, a wonderfully helpful and kind concierge called Zaved, it was a short, but good vacation. He helped me to get to the island, THE must see, which is not so easy as told in the guide books..only problem, wifi is completely on and off, but this is China, it is just the way it is everywhere when it comes to the Great Firewall of Cina..

Been really busy lately, and finally decided to take my little guy out to this little paradise not far away from home. First of all, the service at this place is top notch! While checking in, Janet Huang and Danielle Chen made sure I got upgraded to a nice lagoon suite because of my Titanium Elite status with Marriott, and they sure did treat me with special care so I feel so special. And Michelle Xu really made my son feel welcomed and even walked us to our beautiful suite. That’s so nice! Before dinner, My little guy enjoyed the beautiful indoor play area, where we met the ultra professional and sweet Sunny Lin really took care of Alex while he had a great time there~ We had our dinner at the Fish Bar, the place is absolutely beautiful and the food was fantastic! So fresh and tasty! Smile Cheng made great suggestions for my son and I, we had a wonderful dinner, couldn’t be better! Really love this little paradise not far from home~ would definitely visit more often!

I had the opportunity to stay at the Marriott for a meeting in October 2018. It appears to be a brand new hotel and conference center, built in an area of Xiamen where there is a lot of new construction going on. In fact, at night time many of the buildings are completely dark. There were not too many hotel guests during my stay, and it was not too busy, but that did not interfere with my enjoyment of the place! My room was extraordinarily spacious, and had a balcony facing the east and the Tong’an Bay. My bed slept wonderfully comfortable, and I loved the hot showers. Food service was amazing. There is an extensive Eastern / Western style buffet for all three meals of the day, and so much food is offered that I did not have a chance often times to enjoy everything because I was so full. The service and concierge members are very helpful, and although they spoke good English, having a good knowledge of Mandarin Chinese also does help. My only quibble with the resort is that it is fairly distant from the attractions and sites of Xiamen. It is roughly a 30 minute taxi drive to Zhongsan road or the water taxiway. Because the resort is so new, some of the taxi drivers GPS do not yet have the resort mapped. Aside from that, I had a very memorable stay and would come stay again.

English poor but staff helpful. Good facilities. Isolated and not easy to get transportation. Suggest free shuttle to airport and other popular locations in the city.

It’s a brand new resort hotel with direct access to the beautiful beach. The hotel site is beautifully landscaped and there’s good view of the sea or garden from the balcony in the room. It is very quiet and relaxing to have a vacation here away from the bustling city.

很对设施还没有完善，海边不是很干净，酒店的早自助餐有些贵，东西不是很多，还要排好久的队伍，附近没什么其他可以吃，玩的地方，有些单一。

這次入住了新開的全球高端知名五星萬豪酒店, 果真不同凡響. 位於集美區的環東海域, 整個酒店規劃就像東南亞的Vila, 除了自己的室內外泳池, 還有無敵海岸. 室內還有兒童樂園, 完全適合帶孩子的家庭來這渡假. 不過如果不是開車, 出行方面可能會有些問題, 偏了一點.

The Location is off center , the management is well aware of it but didn’t take any proactive action to alleviate the situation such as shuttle bus

It was connected to the nice beach. Very kind staffs welcomed warmly.
