We had dinner in the restaurant, which was excellent. The room was comfortable, especially the bed (we just sunk in after a long day of walking). Breakfast was amazing, with a wide variety of everything!

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Great location. Calm, peaceful, relaxing with fresh air and great view on the fjord. Very nice room, super comfortable bedding, very enjoyable terrace and bathroom. Flat screen tv that we did not switch on at all. The kitchen is very nice, we had a very enjoyable dinner. And special mention to the breakfast that is amazing with local products. Also, free good coffee during the stay, 24/7.
Almost nothing, these are just suggestions for improvement. Could have had a boiler in the room, a better option for heating, pen and paper in the room (I know a bit old fashioned), and the team was nice especially the morning one, but would be nice to suggest activities in the region for instance.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026I especially loved the location. The staff were very friendly, and the room was comfortable, with everything we needed and a cosy terrace. The bed was excellent, and there was a lovely area where we could enjoy breakfast. Free parking was also a big bonus! 😊
There was nothing we didn’t like. Our only suggestion would be to add another charging point for electric cars.

Nothing to do in Valldal itself but the hotel is ideally located to visit the fjords and Trollstigen and if the weather is good having a drink in the garden with the nice view is a must

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, allerdings nicht so aufmerksam, wie es für ein Hotel dieser Klasse schön wäre

Från första stunden kände vi oss välkomna och hotellet överträffade verkligen våra förväntningar. Rummet var fint och bekvämt, personalen var fantastisk och hela atmosfären var precis det vi behövde för att koppla av och njuta. Läget är helt otroligt – omgivet av fjordar, berg och den fantastiska norska naturen. Det kändes nästan som att bo mitt i en dröm. Vi uppskattade verkligen lugnet och den vackra miljön runt hotellet. Maten och servicen var också väldigt bra och gjorde vistelsen ännu bättre. Det enda vi inte kunde påverka var förstås vädret. 😄 Men även med lite sämre väder var upplevelsen fantastisk. Tack för en underbar vistelse! Det här var verkligen en av de finaste platserna vi har besökt, och vi hoppas få komma tillbaka igen. ❤️

Het enige wat erop aan te merken is, is het ontbreken van een lichtknop voor de kamer verlichting naast het bed. De prijs is hoog maar het was ook wel echt een heel fijn verblijf!

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Το προσωπικό ήταν πάρα πολύ εξυπηρετικό.Μας έκαναν δωρεάν αναβάθμιση σε ανακαινισμένο δωμάτιο με μερική θέα στο φιόρδ. Το δωμάτιο και το μπάνιο ήταν υπέροχο. Φάγαμε ένα βράδυ στο εστιατόριο ήταν ακριβό αλλά νόστιμο . Το πρωινό ήταν φανταστικό! Έχει πολύ κοντά σούπερ μάρκετ. Η θέα από τους εξωτερικούς χώρους απίστευτη !
Έχει μόνο δύο σταθμούς φόρτισης . Επίσης δεν υπάρχουν κ πολλά μαγαζιά τριγύρω με αποτέλεσμα να μην έχεις σχεδόν καθόλου επιλογές για φαγητό .

Reviewed Aug 10, 2026Il miglior hotel in cui abbia soggiornato nei miei sedici giorni di tour in Norvegia punto stanza nuova appena costruita da su un piccolo patio esterno. L’hotel è situato in una posizione meravigliosa è valdar è davvero stupenda spazi comuni molto eleganti di struttura nuova ed è possibilità anche di parcheggio esterno per ricaricare l'auto cosa non banale in Norvegia. Staff gentilissimo un addetto che parlava benissimo in Italiano di origini rumene mi ha risolto un problema che avevo causato io personalmente con un altro albergo con una prenotazione per il giorno successivo telefonando lui a nome mio.
