Hotel Delta Altinkum

As much as reviews are from experience & many of us disagree, mine is one of a very negative. How this hotel can be classed as 3* is beyond me, maybe minus 3*. Arriving late night to a room where the wallpaper was coming off the wall, curtains looked like they had not been cleaned since the hotel was built. I paid for 6 nights but did not even unpack and certainly didn't even want to chance breakfast in the morning, due to the lack of cleanliness there. Thankfully I had friends staying in a hotel the other side of Didim & was able to check in there. The one plus was the very friendly lady on reception when I left who asked if I didn't like the hotel. I did not have the heart to say what I really felt. I lived in Didim for 3 years and this was my first trip there for 8 years and that first night there took away all the good memories I had of the area, but was restored when I changed hotel

Otel konusunda büyük umutlar beklemeyi , sadece uyuyabileceğimiz bir yer olsun nasıl olursa olsun diyorsanız ; evet otel size uygun . Bunun dışında temizlik , hijyen malzemeleri , oda … detay vermek bile istemiyorum fakat kahvaltıya değinmek istiyorum birkaç gün öncesi doğranmış domatesler sıcaktan yamulmuş peynirler hadi boşver en azından karpuz falan idare edelim diyorsun o da ateş gibi konunun başında dediğim gibi , sadece uyumak için bize yeterli diyorsanız evet

Odaya girdigimizde yatak çarşafları ve örtünün üzerinde lekeler vardı. Odadaki elektrik şalteri sürekli atıyordu. Açık büfe konsepti olmasina rağmen büfe aşırı yetersizdi.

Otel sahibi çok ilgiliydi teşekkürler memnun kaldık

Best family hotel in Altinkum. , rooms very clean. Great staff. The owner is very friendly. Very central to everything. Just 1 munite Wall to the beach. recommend it.

.

The hotel was dirty, with dust and cobwebs as we were making our way to the room which was absolutely not fit for use with our 6 month old baby. They crammed a double bed and, a single bed for the baby, into the room which was the size of a postage stamp. No room to be able to move about. This made the room into an oven and the balcony, well I wouldn't call it anything but a ledge. They were not accommodating to move us to another room so we didn't even dare stay there with our baby and left. Sad because we love the didim area. First bad experience

Desperately needs an upgrade. Sanitation very poor. Beds clean. Pool small but clean

Enjoyed our time here aside from being charged for air conditioning which we read as being free.

Very friendly staff, we are happy with our stay. The rooms are clean and the hotel is well managed, issues are rectified quickly with politeness. Highly recommended and will definetly return. If you are into low cost and good holiday then delta is for you. Nezaket

Great location to beach, restaurants and activities. Highly recommended to those interested in solo travel and in good location to places. The rooms are cleaned every day and the staff are always happy to help. Hotel is managed very well and the manager named Halil is friendly and always helpful. Graham

Karşılaşma ve çalışanları aile gibi çok ilgililer havuzu biraz ufak odalarda dolap olmaması üzücü oldu genel olarak fena değil..

We’ve been going to this lovely family run hotel for many years now. It is very close to the beach and all amenities. All staff are fabulous and will go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. You’ll never leave without making lifelong friends 👌😊

I have stayed at thee delta Hotel before and just enjoyed the relaxing time there managerial and staff was just great they can't do enough for you will hopefully be going back in September

Ive been going to this Hotel for a number of years, it is a small family run place, it is very friendly, staff are great, the rooms are small and no frills but has what you need and cleaned every day. The housekeeping girls are wonderful and friendly. Breakfast is Turkish but there are plenty of bars and cafe's around if you want an English breakfast. The hotel is very near to the beach. The atmosphere in the hotel is buzzing and very friendly. Don't expect 5 star luxury, but expect 5 star friendly atmosphere.

Even 1 star is too much. Terrible place. The hotel is pretty old. It needs renovation but more serious issue is cleanliness. They change the towel every 2nd day and bringing even dirtier ones. Balcony door was broken. Bathroom was dirty and closet was broken. It was the first time I experienced that AC is extra charge, 50 pound per week. They allow to smoke inside the hotel and rooms smell tobacco.

the hotel needs updating ,needs plumbing updateing/same furniture/pool needs cleaning scum marks/smell in room from shower drain of sewer gas/breakfast needs improving don`t like margarine. Music playing loud until early hours of morning in bar by swimming pool if you have a ground floor room you will not have any sleep what so ever , not ideal for a relaxing hotel, more suitable for alcholics i think.

Extremely dirty place. Needs to be closed down. Owner very rude and attacks holiday makers. I have witnessed this happen to a lone old women. He threatened her and punching her and swinging he’s arms at her. Owner drinks alcohol at night and fights with other people on the street. As far as I’ve witnessed this dirty place is not a safe place to stay in. it’s unsafe and very dirty, no health and safety.

Unfortunately not a good experience. The confirmation said 1 double bed, on the picture it was one double bed and one image with 2 single beds. We kindly asked for 1 double bed and the staff tried to help. Unfortunately the Manager kicked the customer out of the hotel and was very agressive. The water in the shower is ocean water and overall the hotel is not worth your time or money. The region is pretty bad and not a safe area. We are waiting for the refund and cant recommend this hotel.

This I the worse hotel I have ever seen , I arrived very tired and booked inwas shown to my room. I was very disappointed in the room it was glum. I asked if I could change rooms and was told to wait for the manager. The manager agreed I could move rooms what a discusting hovel. They was no way I was staying in this hotel . I was greeted by a man with tattoos on his face and yes I have tattoo's also but he looked scary . I was in altinkum visiting my sister whom lives there and her husband came to see me they was shown my room and agreed I couldn't stay there. I found another hotel on travigo and went and collected my case . I tried contacting lov holiday who sold me this hovel To no avail no one available to answer my calls or speak to . I have complained to lov holidays and they should be ashamed of them selves , lov holidays have refused me a refund as I didn't contact them whilst in the hovel . The pictures on the site are not what you get . I booked this hotel as it was small and been a solo travel in my 50's I felt zbit more safer. Love holiday investigated and the hotelier has lied . Does these pictures look like the site they show the hotel on to be the same ? Avoid at all cost you will not have a relaxing holiday in this hotel and go with a different travel agent . All they care about is getting a sale but they miss sell them to get it . Fuming

nice clean hotel. staff mostly freiendly [some didnt know how to speak to you] cleaners brilliant as always and HALIL & ALIV great people. they would do anything for you. love this place. RIGHT NEAR THE BEACH ABOUT A 4 MINS WALK AWAY AND WE WERE ON 3RD FLOOR AND GOT THE SUN MOST OF THE DAY.

The Hotel is in need of a full overhaul, rooms need updating and bits fixing. But The owners are really welcoming and friendly both speak very good English. The pool area is small, but the makes the atmosphere more welcoming. The hotel is very friendly, clean and welcoming. Would recommend it to everyone but don’t expect 5 star luxury.

Very rude staff, management threatened and attacked a women in front of us. Disgusting and nasty breakfast. They charge for Turkish tea which is free in every other hotel. Do not waste your money here, you will be disappointed. Other holiday makers were also disappointed. A few families have checked out early and rebooked into a better hotel near by as they were unable to stay here.

Teleurgesteld

Klein, sauber, freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Beklentisiz giderseniz memnun kalabilirsiniz. Ben ikinci kez tercih etmem.

we stayed at the delta hotel last September, we have stayed there before Halil, Alev and staff couldnt do enough to make our stay a good one and are very help full, the hotel is close to the beach and lacal bars you couldnt ask for more we hope to go again in the future.

We arrived to the most hospitable welcome tired at 12.30am offered drinks and food clean and tidy room. With aircon and safe at a small supplement. We booked for one week and extended it 2 THREE!!!! this based purely on the staff we literally became family and they couldnt do enough for us! Never ever in my life of travelling have I met such a loving family willing to go above and beyond. They had had so many guests that have been returning for years that says it all! Bbq night for a tenner was out of this world .. drinks all proper brands not like local bars and still super cheap and everything on your door step 2 mins from back 5 mins from bars and restaurants and supermarkets across the road. The management helped with all the admin to renew flights etc at no cost and supported all customers esp the vulnerable with the covid forms and any other issues including prescriptions laundry etc when no rep turned up.. I'm not one to go the same place twice but boy cant wait to go back next year!!! Ps trips taxis etc let them book they even went the shops to haggle for my hair app and shopping!!! And the breakfast is to die for see you soon as Delta we so miss you!!

We stayed here in september for 2 weeks highly recommend this hotel. Nice view and close to the beach. clean bedroom and i cant forget write about nice and helpful staff. The hotel itself is lovely set in a very quiet location so a good nights sleep is guaranteed. The rooms are spotless clean and cleaned everyday nothing to much trouble for cleaning staff ,air con, TV although Turkish and free wi fi, the hotel is very friendly. everyone from the staff know english , we would love to go again to stay longer. Well done Jet2 HOLIDAYS

We stayed at the delta from the 3rd to the 17th September and have to say the staff are great always spoke to us and very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with the shower I told them about it with in minutes they came and sorted it out the only thing was there wasn't a fridge in the room to keep your drinks cold other than that it was ok and a good base for your stay the beach is only 2 minutes walk I would stay there again

Rude staff, dirty bedding I would never recommend anyone to stay in this hotel, to be honest it needs to be shut down. Awful atmosphere, the hotel sun bed chairs are filthy overall this hotel is disgusting.

Sadly I am one of those people who generally get on with it and don't let problems spoil my holidays... However if it gets to me I share !! We complained and changed rooms 3 times hoping it would get better..... it didn't ! First the good point.... Sheets and towels changed daily and room half halfheartedly cleaned. Now the not so good !! The rooms are tiny, approx 2.5 meters wide and 6 meters long with a shower room in one corner at 1.5 x 1.5 meters. The shower room fittings are filthy, cracked wash bowl and the curtain is on an expandable pole which falls off when used. The rooms have very little natural air circulation as there is only the balcony door (which you cannot leave open at night because of the daily loudest music competition with the hotel next door) so air con is is must... and at £30.00 ...... YES £30.00 a week is outrageous !!! The "balcony" is 0.5 meters wide and just large enough for the 2 plastic garden chairs provided. The lift inner safety doors do not close so you can touch the wall as you move. We were going to upgrade to half board on arrival but after seeing what was on offer at breakfast and evening meal we decided not to bother, even with the breakfasts already paid for. The swimming pool is TINY with a scum line around the tiles, serviettes blown in from the adjacent bar were not removed. A choice of 8 sunbeds is available. All the manager could keep saying "we are two star hotel" maybe if he put some effort and investment in it could become more !

We have just returned from 2weeks at the DELTA HOTEL ALTINKUM, basic hotel but kept very clean, towels changed every day. Mainly Turkish guests but we were invited to join in with all the activities. Everyone from the owner's to the staff went out of the way to make our stay with them enjoyable. The reason I give this hotel 3 stars is because of the little touches that would make this hotel so much better, shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, possibly a small fridge to keep water cold. Apart from this overall a lovely holiday. Well done JET2 for your first season at the DELTA.

It was good experience
