Tiger Den Resort

Wonderful friendly staff at this safe, welcoming resort. Mr Patrick was brilliant helping to sort out safaris. Small restaurant but very tasty food on offer. Nice comfortable room in a fun bungalow setting, cute little terrace. Lovely gardens for relaxing. Fun entertainment in evening. Lovely welcome on arrival. Great value for money. Tiger safari is super exciting and seeing these fabulous creatures made our trip. Didn't try spa services but looked good. Nice touch providing blanket for safari.

Rooms comfortable but quite basic and bathroom while functional isn't luxury. Bed/mattress could do with a refresh, hard board underneath. Pool area seemed a bit neglected with lots of mosquito larvae in the cold pool.

We had a wonderful stay . Beautiful pool & setting. The staff at Tiger Den were so helpful. Patrick the hotel manager was brilliant & organised everything for us to make for a very memorable stay. A highlight of our tour & seeing 4 tigers made it even more special .

Vriendelijk personeel die veel voor de gasten deed. Heerlijke ligging voor safari

Vuil zwembad Eten niet lekker

Good location, very basic. Needs a good deep clean and the rooms need painting / updating. Staff very pleasant. Food selection was very basic and didn’t really include any western food. Sometimes you do not want spicy food all the time. If you are going on the safari make sure you take some warm clothes as it is cold at 5.30 in the morning.

Two night stay as part of a group tour. Miserable male member of staff at check-in. Three large Alsatian dogs roaming around grounds unattended. The first room we were given smelt very strongly of smoke so requested a change of room. The next room had two single beds pushed together and not a double. Decor and furniture and fittings very tired and dated. Whole room in need of upgrading. Bathroom dirty and extremely poor. Towels thin, grey and hard. Pillows like a brick they were so hard. No TV. Dirty plastic bins.tea and coffee not replenished. Lunch unavailable on day 2. Staff in restaurant friendly and efficient. Food ok but lack of choice. Nice grounds.

Very nice hotel with cosy stay

Lovely setting v close to Ranthambore National Park. The staff were all very kind and attentive. Food to good standard, cooked eggs fresh when we returned from early morning Tiger Drives. Rooms slightly tired but ok.

The manager was kind and helpful The Kerala spa was excellent Quiet and peaceful

Food was awful. On one evening the matar paneer was burnt; breakfast was poor quality and everything was full of oil. The kitchen really needs overhaul OR, new contractors employed

It was nice and well maintained.

The property is nicely maintained.

Nicely maintained property and staff was helpful

This hotel is fabulous and we would definitely recommend. The staff are fantastic and very attentive especially Sonu and Budhi also Patrick, the manager. Everything is well organised especially with the safari’s. Set in peaceful surroundings and very close to the park. This is our fourth visit over 15 years and we twould definitely stay again, it never disappoints us

Great location, staff and premises. The GM and owners are wonderful too

All good

Luxury stay with lovely people around, best for ones finding peace must visit if in rajasthan…. The staff is dedicated to serve you comfort.

Had a great time here, keep it short. Very helpful staff, advised on the safaris, made sure we were bundled up to handle the weather at the resort and safaris. Saved our lives. Food was excellent. Room service top notch. The resort has a lot of activities, we enjoyed stargazing and live folk music. Rooms and bathrooms were clean.

The cottage was a great stay. Patrick, the manager, was excellent in every way. He arranged our three tiger safaris at the Rathambore National Tiger reserve.

Walking distance (1,6 km) from the entrance to the park. Very helpfull staff. Very good breakfast and lunch. Overall, the hotel offered a nice opportunity to relax during our tour of Rajasthan.

Real India. Great staff. Nice welcome . We had room 20 which was big. Bed good. Old style India. No modern flashy bits. Big shower . Bathroom products good but no conditioner. Towels fine . WC good. Lighting in room good. Home cooked food. Great for Safari. Good shop in grounds . Nice pool to relax by. Water pressure a little low but adequate. Would go back too.

Beautiful setting, great service and fabulous food. Perfect place from which to do safari. We had such a great time, saw 3 tigers.

My mom and I stayed here in the middle of October and it was a lovely experience. The place itself is very cute, the people who work there are kind and helpful, and the onsite fabric shop was a bonus. It’s a little dated, but love the outside/balcony/porch areas. We even say by the pool after our morning safari to relax.

Location and atmosphere

Rooms were little old fashioned

We were 4 of us friends who planned a visit to Ranthambore in the 2nd week of June with the sole intent of watching Tigers in their natural habitat. We had booked into the Tiger Den Resort which is less than 2kms from the Main gate Ganeshdham. Right from the time we arrived till the time we checked out, the entire team looked after us so well - be it food, room service, water and other requirements for safaris etc. And most importantly it was done with a smile on their face. The team is well led by the ever helpful and smiling Manager Patrick. The rooms are in excellent condition and kept neat and clean as part of daily service. The food spread was lavish be it breakfast, lunch or dinner and quality and taste was exceptionally good. If i were to nitpick, i would have liked bit more of authentic Rajasthani menu items (eg. Dal Baati etc) to make it complete. However no complaints though. I have travelled to a lot of places in India due to my interests in wildlife. I can say with conviction that Tiger Den is one of the best resorts that i have stayed in. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to Ranthambore.

The hotel offered us beautiful spacious room with the front door giving access to the balcony and to the garden with swimming pool. Very nice staff and an excellent kitchen. From here it is good to go on tiger safari's. When we were there, the hotel was managed by Mr. Patrick, who was fully committed to making us feel comfortable. He managed to get us a seat in a canter to get access to the core tiger zones, after our 3 booked safari's had been assigned to the buffer zones (out of control of the hotel). This was fantastic, Thanks!!!

I stayed at a beautiful resort near the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve and absolutely loved the ambience! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Since I visited during the Christmas holidays, the weather was quite cold, but the room was well-heated with a reliable supply of hot water, making the stay cozy and pleasant. Not to mention, the breakfast, lunch and dinner spreads were absolutely delicious! We travelled as a group of 8 adults and 4 five year old kids. Overall, our stay was just perfect. Lastly, there were 4 GS dogs who guard the property and were also keeping a close eye on our kids! Would surely go back if ever we go to Ranthambore again!

A really lovely resort set in beautiful well kept grounds, we both agreed it was the most relaxing and tranquil place we stayed at during our trip. The older cottages are a little bit dated but are very spacious and clean and have nice verandas to sit out on. The swimming pool is large and well kept although a few more sun loungers would be beneficial. There was always a good choice of food and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Patrick the manager, was extremely accommodating and efficient and was instrumental is getting us in to the right zones for our safari, we saw 7 tigers and being so close to the National Park entrance is a real bonus. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tiger Den and if we were ever back in the area, we would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The resort was really quiet and beautiful. The gardens are so well maintained by the diligent local ground staff. The waiters were exceptionally attentive and kind. The breakfast has such a good range of choices. The pool area was great! Would HIGHLY recommend

It is a nice hotel and the location is perfect. It has a safari pick up point too which makes it convenient to visit the tiger reserve. There is an arts and craft shop too inside the complex. The breakfast and dinner menu are great. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue that we noticed was the cleanness of the bathroom. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

The location is so close to the park and very peaceful. We were lucky and saw 7 Tigers on 2 game drives.

Leaving!

Wauwwww..... what a beautiful resort. We had a room at the swimming pool. Nice, large room with a large terrace and 2 lounge chairs. Bathroom was large with a good shower. Lunch and breakfast in dining room, not so cosy, but food was okay. For diner we had a BBQ outside with good meat and side dishes, as well as folk music. Swimming pool was large, good temperature. A lot of chairs/beds at the pool to relax. Towels are provided on request. We stayed only 1 night, a second one would have been appreciated to have a "relax day" during a heavy travel program. Starting from the resort we had an afternoon safari drive to Ranthambore NP; only few minutes from the gate.

It was an excellent place for Safari at Ranthambore. The staff was pleasant and was very friendly. Mr. Patrick the head of the hotel was extremely knowledgeable and helpful by all means. They all made my stay an excellent one . It is the best location for safaris to the park. The evenings were filled with entertainment. The food was excellent. Will be back many more times for sure. Wonderful resort. Lovely staff and 5 mins drive from park entrance. Yes, wifi is a little up and down but that's not why you go there. Clean and everything is servicable. I agree that the food selection is a little limited compared to some hotels, but again that is not why you would chosse this resort. We were swapped from the ITC in town and so glad we were. Travelled with a group of 24 and everyone agreed.

Doesn’t have the best facilities in the world, but it’s strangely perfect, an oasis of calm in the chaos that is India Beautiful bungalows set around the green with hints of a colonial past. Staff fantastically, friendly and helpful, the food although not the best choice was always tasty and plentiful. Perfectly paste for the wildlife part, I just wish we had more time to spend there.

Our two night stay at the Tiger Den Resort was the highlight of our visit to Ranthambhore. While we never did see a tiger or a sloth bear on either of our safari excursions into Ranthambhore National Park, both trips were enjoyable. But neither trip compared to the atmosphere at the resort, which was cozy and comfortable and staffed by welcoming, professional people, most notable Patrick, the manager. The food was excellent, as were the evening musical entertainment on the veranda and the well-stocked shop on the premises.

It was fantastic !! We organised a proposal with them and everything was absolutely perfect. The room was decorated, perfect dinner and general great service. The WiFi works excellent and the rooms are wonderful. Really a great stay overall

Super friendly staff, we will make sure your stay is perfect. The hotel grounds is well maintained and very clean. Not much for kids to do during daytime apart from going on hammock but the hotel dogs kept my kids entertained. The rooms were large and the bathroom was kept cleaned and the shower was amazing. Sadly we didn't see any tigers but everyone around us did. The location is brilliant its outside park enterance.

During our recent trip to Ranthambore, we booked out stay at Tiger Den. It was an amazing stay as the resort is very well maintained with lots of open spaces for the kids to play. The rooms very big and spacious and the staff was extremely polite and friendly. A special thanks to Mr. Sonu who ensured all our needs were taken care of with a smile. The Food was delicious and especially the fire side set up during evenings took the experience a notch above. Being very close to the Safari Entrance is a plus point and Tiger Den should be your go to place the next time you visit Ranthambore

A Magical Hotel with Incredible Service This hotel was truly magical, with exceptional service that exceeded all expectations. We stayed here with the hope of seeing tigers on an early morning safari. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to spot any during our first safari. We were due to depart for Jaipur later that afternoon, but we decided to try for another safari last-minute. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make it happen. They did everything possible to help us secure a last-minute safari, and thanks to their efforts, we were able to go on another safari to a region where we had a much better chance of seeing tigers. Because of them, we were able to fulfill our dream and see a tiger – the magnificent Jay Tiger! This hotel will always hold a special place in my heart. I highly recommend it to everyone! A heartfelt thank you for everything!

A beautiful property built in a scenic hill side location. The rooms are huge and filled with all modern amenities. The staff especially rizwan and Patrick are outstanding and go out of their way to help you. The food is yummy and the restaurant staff are meticulous in service and giving you a homely service. The location is outstanding and the landscape is beautiful and tastefully done. Worth every single penny. Highly recommended.

Went there after 6 years, But still the same in every wonderful way, Very warm & friendly staff, caring and flexible in their approach, accommodative too! but behind all this is Patrick Fernandes, their GM, There would be few like him in any wildlife resort, Knowledgeable and thorough in his work, and always around to help or have a friendly chat, he’s an extremely good and genuine person. He would surely be rated amongst the top in this profession. Due to him and his staff, I would keep wanting to go back to Tiger Den and Ranthambhore

A lovely resort very close to the Ranthambore National Park. The property is managed by Patrick Fernandes, who pays a lot of attention to detail and made sure our stay was extremely comfortable. The property is in excellent shape and our rooms were well furnished and clean. Each room has a balcony to sit on. Excellent dining room and yum food. One evening we also had a barbecue. The staff are well trained and attentive. The tickets for 3 safaris was organised by Patrick with an excellent guide. Sandwiches and tea were packed for all our trips and journeys. The rates for the room were very reasonable. In a word ‘fabulous’.

Everything, the staff were exceptional, the room was wonderful and the food was brilliant, they even made extra dishes for us incase we didn’t want to eat the local options

Nothing, it was brilliant

Great location, very close to gate 1 to 5 of Ranthambore National park, great food

Everything! The stay is at a good location and rooms r huge! Value for money! The people r amazing! Patrick helped us with our safaris and other things too! The front desk to the Team Of boys running around is amazing! I can come back when I do:)

Food can be slightly better in terms of menu

It has a very good and open vibe, there is a rose garden with a beautiful smell and the staff welcomed us with flower chains and a drink. You can sit on the terrace of the sweet cottages and enjoy a wine that is brought to you. Didn’t check out the pool because it was cold. Food was ok also.

Nothing

Loved everything. Staff incredible, food, accomodation drinks. Inmaculate beautiful rooms. Stunning location.

Nothing to not like

The staff were wonderful and very welcoming, it was a real home from home. The location was great for Ranthambore National Park. They organised a safari at very last minute, and we were rewarded with a tiger sighting!

There was no WiFi in the room.

The space and property is very good.

Pool cleanliness is not proper it wa dirty and smells bad. Rest is all okay

Location very convenient to visit the safaris in core zone. Food quality is very good and property has a good ambience

Pool could have cleaner..bathrooms require renovation..kids play area could have been added

The food at the property was really good. The staff was very accomodating and helpful. Even the owners were friendly and very courteous.

Although the bathroom was clean, there was a constant bad smell in the bathroom.

Location is very nice and property is quite well maintained outside resort

the construction is quite old and needs some upgrade in infra and electrical fittings

Everything was good and Excellent

There should be some place for kids zone also.

resort was brilliant.amazing food, wonderful staff. so friendly and helpful . highly recommended. would like to give extra special mention to Patrick who helped us with anything we needed. a great help. as were all the staff

Very good food, spacious rooms and very nice staff

Staff is really friendly and cooperative, This is a right pleace if you are looking for peace and fun both.

N/A

To sum up my experience - Tjger Den Resort, Sawai Madhopur is like another Home away from your own Home. Good Amenities and most importantly the People who run this resort are truly good and very skilled at their work. Very well led by resort’s Manager - Patrick and Restaurant Manager Buddhi and his team. Overall a great stay and we will surely come back.

Ambience was very good. Location was very near to national park.

Food options are very limited

The hotel is beautiful and peaceful! The staff was super friendly!

lot of open space, spacious room and it was neat and clean.

There were not enough amenities do kids or adults neither hotel guys arranged anything. Towels were not very clean and breakfast had limited options.

Service,food, environment....

Nothing...

Helpful staff, clean rooms, quality food, pleasant atmosphere

I liked everything

The first day we arrived by train and reached early, since they had room available they gave us early check in without any extra charge. The property is not very far from railway station and we could hire car at station and go hotel in 300Rs. We were charged for buffet breakfast for first day since it was not included in package but they asked our choice and gave us amazing breakfast. Our package had all meals, and all the meals were very good. The staff was super courteous. They go an extra mile to make our stay comfortable. My son would drink bournvita with cold milk and they gave us as per our requirement without charging anything extra. Mr. Yogender & Mr. Patrick are very helpful. They do have 4-5 German Sheperds in the property. They are very friendly and we enjoyed with them.

nothing.

Everything, from the moment you enter the gates this resort is akin to a natural soul oasis less than a mile from Ranthambore National Park entry gates 1-5. Best tiger safari we booked with the hotel.

Having to leave Tiger Den
