Reviewed Sep 15, 2026La habitación es muy cómoda, amplia y luminosa. El personal muy colaborador. Nos ayudaron con lo que pedimos y nos recomendaron visitas por el entorno. Está en una ubicación muy cómoda si vas en coche, aparcas cerca y en 3 minutos estás en el hotel. El desayuno no era excesivamente variado pero todo estaba muy rico.
El papel higiénico de papel reciclado no era todo lo cómodo que uno desearía. Lo demás todo perfecto.

L'esmorzar una mica justet i per arrivar a la suite no arriva l'ascensor has de pujar escales, una llastima

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was enjoyable! They were very accommodating about us bringing lots of luggage including bikes and allowed us to drop these off early (and we were able to access the room early too which was an extra bonus). The facilities were lovely and we really enjoyed using the beautiful pool overlooking the mountains. Breakfast was very good, and they were able to cater to dietary requirements well. We really enjoyed our stay in Besalú and have recommended the hotel to friends too!

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026This is a really lovely hotel. The staff are amazing. They work so hard to make sure you have a good stay, and in our case to help us get some medication swiftly sorted with a local doctor. The rooms are cool and quiet, the beds really comfy and the shared space welcoming. There was a restaurant next door who were providing evening meals if required on the terrace. The food was delicious, and again, the staff lovely. One of the highlights for us was the pool. It is very welcome during the hot days. Besalu isn't a large town in itself, but very pretty and with a car you can explore further if you want. We were there partially to relax after having moved about a lot, so it totally worked for us.
The only tiny thing would have been English tea at breakfast. The coffee was delicious, but it's hard to break the habit of tea in the morning.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Location is excellent directly in the centre. We had 2 bedroom 2 baths suite on top floor with lovely view of the mountains. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Property is lovely and large, we were surprised since this town is ancient. In the evening it was totally silent which was great for us since we live in centre of Barcelona.

Las camas no son muy cómodas. El desayuno no vale nada, poca cantidad sin fruta, embutido regular y huevos de polvo.La habitación tiene un termo individual que da justo para dos duchas. Se escuchan mucho los huéspedes de otras habitaciones. El ascensor llega solo a la primera planta, a la segunda hay dos tramos muy grandes de escaleras, deberían preguntar antes de hospedarte allí, no apto para personal con problemas de movilidad.

Reviewed Feb 23, 2026Nuestra estancia en Casa Marcial fue de 10. Pasamos una noche el 21 de febrero y salimos encantados. Desde el primer momento, Judith nos hizo sentir como en casa: se encargó del check-in, nos enseñó todo el hotel, nos acompañó hasta la habitación y nos explicó las zonas comunes con muchísima amabilidad y cercanía. Un trato que marca la diferencia. La limpieza es impecable y la ubicación es inmejorable, en pleno centro de Besalú, justo al lado del Puente medieval de Besalú, lo que hace que moverse por el pueblo sea comodísimo. El desayuno no es muy abundante, pero sí de muy buena calidad, con productos bien seleccionados y todo muy cuidado. Además, el hotel es súper tranquilo y tiene un ambiente muy familiar, perfecto para desconectar y descansar de verdad. Repetiríamos sin dudarlo. Un sitio con encanto y con personas que lo hacen aún mejor. 💛
