Beautiful historic hotel in idyllic Lillesand! The breakfast was amazing and the location of the hotel is perfect to exploring Lillesand. We wish we had another day to explore the area.

Fantastisk opphold i et tradisjonsrikt og vakkert hotell! Det var en opplevelse å gå igjennom de forskjellige stuene, biblioteket og spisesalen ! Deilig hotellrom! Hyggelig direktrise og betjening. Nydelig frokost. Og hotellet er I seg selv verd en tur til Lillesand som for øvrig er en perle !

Toppscore da personalet sto til laud. Reist mye både ute og hjemme og kan faktisk ikke huske slik god hyggelig og vennelig behandling noensinne.

Koselig hotell , men enkel og treg frokost

Veldig koselig og hyggelig hotell. Ligger veldig fint til. Et hotell som er hyggelig å oppleve. Veldig hyggelig personell og god frokost. Familierommer var dessverre noe mindre enn vi hadde forventet, men det gikk fint. Noe dårlig luftsirkulasjon da det ikke var aircondition, så varmt om natten. Anbefaler alle som skal til Lillesand og bo iallfall en natt på hotellet.

Omadressert avis. Ga den ikke automatisk når jeg kom. Ikke kjøleskap.

Fornøyd med både service og standard. Absolutt å anbefale. Vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Fint, lyst værelse med tilpas plads, stole og bord. Rigtig god service i reception og morgenmadsrestaurant. Meget fint og omfattende morgenmad.

Fikk oppgradert til et bedre rom etter at jeg først ble tildelt et dårligere rom enn bestilt. Burde ikke forekomme at jeg ikke fikk det rommet som var bestilt, og måtte gå to runder med betjeningen før det løste seg. Middelmådig frokost.

Flott opphold, men litt tungt å komme til rommet i 4. etg uten heis når man er dårlig til beins.

Fantastisk koselig hotell med nydelig frokost

This hotel is in a historical building, in a lovely little coastal town. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Our room was small, but well appointed. I couldn’t help but admire the little window. Sadly this room(215), did not have a view of the harbour, although the hotel is located right on the harbour. The hotel is wonderful, however it’s the owners and staff that truly make it a special place. We met some of the kindest, and friendliest people at Hotel Norge Lillesand. I highly recommend a stay here. It’s delightful. The town is very small and walkable, with several points of interest.

Nice play to stay for a night.

We brought a boat into Lillesand with a very short walk from the docks to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We took the stairs to our top floor rooms. The bathroom was a little small, but this is not a new, modern hotel. The Norge is a very well kept boutique hotel. The room was cozy and the bed was comfortable. No problems whatsoever. Restaurants just a block away. Fanstastic breakfast is provided. Just a great experience overall.

Hemtrevligt hotell med gammaldags möblering. Kändes lite bedagat. Väldigt trevlig frukost serverad vid bordet.

Koselig hotell med super beliggenhet. Vi synes sengene var for myke for vår smak, men ellers rent og pent. Frokosten var grei, servert et fat til hvert bord, men hadde foretrukket buffe’!

We felt right at home in this wonderful and well-managed hotel. Situated right on the harbor, we felt very much like guests in a warm and friendly home! Lovely ladies at reception welcomed us, and the room was clean and comfortable. It was quiet and restful. We had a full breakfast with great service. Highly recommend this place in charming Lillesand!

Koselig lite hotell som gjorde alt for at vi skulle trives. Vi var en venne gjeng som de servet. Koselig med frokost servering på fat men kunne kanskje tenkt meg buffet og litt mer fleksibilitet. Det eneste som ikke var så bra var rommet og badet som var noe av det minste jeg har sett. Med to mennesker på rommet måtte en ut for å tenke. Kjempe gode senger. God middag. Lillesand er en sjarmerende by så selv i grå vær og begynnelsen på høst var den vært ett besøk.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. Walking along the waterfront and into the surrounding neighborhood was a real treat.

Andre gang jeg bor på dette hotellet, og jeg ble like fornøyd som forrige gang. Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, fantastisk frokost! Gleder meg allerede til neste gang!

Pluss for hyggelig betjening (spesielt frokosten), men rommene ble rett og slett FOR små. Tror ikke jeg er så kravstor, men selv hotellrommene på billige hoteller midt i London har mer plass enn dette. Dusjen måtte vi stå sidelengs i, for den var for smal. Dette pga en veldig spesiell løsning (se bilde) der den smalnet av innover. Frokosten var annerledes enn noe annet jeg har opplevd. Man forsynte ikke seg selv, men ble servert et fat med diverse brød og pålegg. I og for seg veldig hyggelig, men det kan umulig være spesielt bærekraftig med all mat som nødvendigvis må kastes pga denne løsningen. Putene passet ikke meg og det var ingen alternativer, slik som det er ganske vanlig å ha. De kunne også godt ha spandert på leselys på begge sengene og ikke bare den ene...

Utrolig hyggelig hotell! Veldig god frokost! På jobb reise, så hadde liten tid på hotellet. Men fint hotell og utrolig hyggelig betjening. Verdt et besøk!

I booked one night extra and it should be the same price as my hotels.com price. That means no extra free nights for collecting. But ok i had the same room and i choose to do that. Now i check my bankaccount and i even paid around 8 euros more. Not so nice... Also they are vacuuming while there is breakfast, not a good timing. For the rest is the breakfast nice and good,more then you can eat.

Utrolig sjarmerende og koselig hotell! Gamle flotte møbler, og siden vi var der i desember var det også julepyntet. Hotellet ligger sentralt til i Lillesand og rett utenfor hotellet er det butikker og restauranter samt gratis parkering frem til kl 10 neste morgen. Ellers kunne vi parkert på hotellets parkeringsplass som også var gratis. Rommet var stort og senga god. Teppe på gulvet men renholdet var bra. Litt hard pute men ellers manglet ingenting. Kaffe, te og kakao som vi kunne forsyne oss med. Et ekstra pluss er det når det står gode såper/shampo/ balsamprodukter på badet. Servicen på hotellet var også veldig god! Veldig god frokost, som ble servert ved bordet. Fat med alt det vi ønsket av pålegg, lunket brød, egg, yoghurt mm. Hotellet er en liten opplevelse i seg selv, og vi kommer gjerne tilbake😊

If you want to travel back in time and/or experience a unique boutique hotel. This is it! History in The Walls. Killer breakfast. Charming. You name it. Super friendly staff. Location, Location, Location!

God service, men måtte vente litt lenge på frokost, og kun ein rett til middag. Beliggenhet og området helt perfekt.

Dejligt hotel. Meget rent og miljøbevist. Personalet er venlig og smilende. Et sted jeg gerne anbefaler.

We had a lovely welcome from The receptionist. The hotel was almost sold out when we booked, and all they had left was a room in the attic with no lift! That meant three floors up on a windy staircase! I suppose the building is listed - hence no elevator. The room was extremely small and the bathroom even smaller, but it was oh so cute! The bed was really comfy. Breakfast was staggered and a bit slow, but the service was great and the food was good - served on afternoon tea trays! The hotel in general seems to be understaffed, probably due to Covid and lack of much- needed foreign staff., considering they are fully booked. Hopefully this will soon be back to normal.

Innsjekking via telefon (gikk fint) Frokost var god, det beste brødet vi har smakt. Dag 2 fikk vi også bacon & eggerøre :-), møblene i rommet var noe slitt, vi bodde i 3 etg, trappene var bratte som styggen (ikke å anbefale for eldre eller folk med dårlig helse) Hotellet og interiør har en historisk fin tidsstil. En opplevelse

Glimrende å bo i sentrum. Flott med gratis parkering. Fulgte Corona regler. God service.

Lillesand er et veldig trivelig sted, beliggenhet og tilbud er topp, og det hele toppes av Hotell Norge. Gammelt, javel, men det er vel noe av vitsen, og det skjemmer overhode ikke

Fantastisk utsikt fra suiten. Vi koste oss veldig. Velsmakende frokost og fullt fokus på hygiene. Hyggelig personale. Litt slumsete rengjøring av badet, ellers flott. Vi kommer garantert tilbake. Anbefaler restauranten «Fiskebrygga Hos oss» som ligger i andre enden av gågata.

Familyrun hotel, 25 rooms, ventrally situated on the main harbour square. Nice rooms. Inside Reception, great public rooms including a Library (Nobel Prize winner Knut Hamsun was a frequent visitor at the hotel) very warm welcome at arrival and continued throughout our stay from a very friendly staff. We certainly will be back. The hotel has its’ own restaurant, Nino’s, two minutes walk from the hotel and situated on the waterfront.

4,5 star would have been the correct rating, but for this small town gem a few minor discrepancies are fast forgotten. The hotel is charming, the interior shows you the very best of the past and makes you feel at home. We had arranged, with excellent and expedient help from the hotel management, for a private dinner at a time when the kitchen is usually not open. We were not disappointed - great, helpful and kind service, excellent food and a beautiful surrounding to make this the perfect evening.. That we were not offered to taste the wines before they were poured or asked how we wanted our steaks are, as earlier said - minor - but might explain the 4,5 on the way to 5 stars... We will definitely be back!!

Historic building with convenient location and parking overlooking waterfront and within walking distance of everything in downtown Lillesand.

We stayed in a family room with our two kids age 6. Spacious rooms. They shared a common entrance with bathroom. Although we originally booked the annex family room, we got the top floor room, but the heat was tolerable and the noise from an in-house concert in the back yard one of the nights was probably less of a problem there. However, this misunderstanding would be the only real thing to put the finger on. Very pleasant staff, clean rooms. Although modern facilities, the hotel is kept in the style approx. 100 years back in time.

In the middle of Lillesand charming harbour. Lovely old hotel with a lot of nice and authenric furniture. The breakfast was very good and beautifully served. The hotel also has a very nice and beautyfull garden.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights on a business trip. The hotel is quite typical, which I appreciated. It is nice when you travel for business and have little time to visit to still get the impression that you are travelling and not staying in a impersonal hotel that would be the same in any country. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast is quite nice with good fresh and typical local products. The lobby has a very nice atmosphere, typically local and very cosy. The room was nice and large, with a similar atmosphere. The only small minus point is the entrance to the shower that isn’t very large

A group of Polish and Norwegian colleagues spent two nights at this marvellous hotel for a joint seminar held at this historic hotel. The interior is old fashioned, where you are brought back to Knut Hamsun times. I was so lucky to get his old room, very spacious and special - and clean. The service was splendid from we came to we went - couldn't be better. Hotel location is the best in town. And food served was of highest standard, with a local gourmet touch. Seminar room was spacious and nice, my only advice there is to install better drop downs to avoid sunshine reflections on the wall screen. Lillesand therefore also provided good weather this time. A fantastic hotel!

A gem of a hotel! Old fashioned historical hotel, where amongst others, the great Norwegian author, Knut Hamsun used to come to get inspired. All the rooms are a little different, due to the age of the building, but very charming. The service is friendly and the breakfast is great!
