The room - it was small and too hot given the extreme heat/temperature - to be fair there was a desk fan in the room, which provided some relief. I also had to keep the curtains shut during the day to avoid sun warming room.

호텔시설이 많이 낙후됬어요 ㆍ 리프트가 없어요 계단만 있어서 큰 캐리어 옮기기 힘들어요 (저는 직원이 감사하게도 방까지 옮겨 줬어요) 방도 좁고 침대도 편하진 안해요

Reviewed Jun 22, 2026Location could not have been more convenient. Station, shops, cafes, lake, all within easy walking distance. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite. The room was well equipped with a fridge, clean and plentiful bathroom facilities. It is an older building so has an inherent charm that is not to be found in more modern "chain" hotels.
Unfortunately the World Cup was in progress so the nightlife in Nyon was somewhat lively! So it was noisy, but this was not the fault of the hotel in any way.

Het hotel ligt aan een drukke weg pal voor een stoplicht dus veel herrie van auto’s als je een kamer aan de voorzijde hebt. Het heeft uitzicht op een parking. De communicatie van het personeel is niet erg verwelkomend. Er zijn nauwelijks opties voor veganisten bij het ontbijt.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026I loved the convenient location and the young woman who looked after the breakfast and tidying the rooms was delightful. There was a charming bar and restaurant attached to the hotel with delicious food and a great atmosphere.
My room was rather spartan with a tiny bathroom and very bad lighting. The fact that there was no person on the reception and the main door locked after 2 on Sunday was a bit alarming as I had not been properly instructed in how to re enter the hotel. Luckily other guest came by at just that moment before I started to panic.

While we booked a small room, the room felt very dated and pokey. It was not a very comfortable stay.

Le bruit. Il faisait chaud dans la chambre, pas de climatisation. Dès lors, pas le choix que d'ouvrir les fenêtres, mais il y avait du bruit et des cris toute la nuit. Le ventilateur était trop bruyant aussi...mais impossible de faire autrement pour que la température soit vivable...
