Well kept property, quaint setting.

Lack of places to eat in the area.

The shower was a little too small.

Lovely location overlooking the bay, close to the Roosevelt International Park. The two staff members we met were both friendly and helpful. The bed was soft and comfy, and the room was very clean. The room had a small fridge and microwave, both of which we used. There were chairs just outside the room to sit in and enjoy the bay view. The Porch restaurant next door is within walking distance and had good food.

The bathroom was small and felt cramped, and the shower leaked water onto the floor. The property is an older one and the room had an unpleasant smell common in humid locations, though I got used to it. The walls are thin and we could hear the people on either side of us. Recommend ear plugs. I also recommend an eye mask as there was a lot of ambient light in the room.

Quiet and peaceful place. It had the retro charm of the old beach colleges, but it was well kept and clean.

Our room was clean and decor was fresh and modern. The manager was great to answer all our questions. The only drawback for me is the bed is extremely soft, a minor issue really.

No fire pit

Location was great, convenient to get around the island and explore, and a nice view of the sea. Staff was very kind.

Rooms were not very sound-proof (thin walls). We liked that there was a fridge, but there wasn't a comfortable place to eat breakfast indoors. Fortunately it was warm enough to eat out at the picnic tables.

We booked it because of the location by Campobello.

Being able to sit out in the evening and watch the sun set over the water. The staff was helpful and friendly.

The room was exceptionally clean. It was located very close to the FDR park and facilities. The staff had great recommendations for breakfast and dinner.

Perfect location, staff could not be more helpful and sweet! Super comfy bed for a great night's sleep after hiking.

Our stay was excellent. The room was beautiful and is a 30 second walk from the beach. The owner's are absolutely lovely people. We felt very welcomed and we will absolutely be going back next summer.

I have no complaints. We were very satisfied with our stay.

The staff was outstanding. Friendly, informative, accommodating. Nice view, handy to restaurants and the Roosevelt Park. Very nice bed, bedding, pillows. Loved having in room fridge and coffee maker.

A bigger vanity for putting curling irons, cosmetics, etc would have been nice, but minor since we were only there one night. For a longer stay might’ve been a little more challenging

Biggest mosquitoes I’ve seen in ages!

Right next to the ocean. With Adirondack chairs outside every room where you could sit and watch the beach. The rooms were surprisingly beautiful given that from the outside it looks like a more typical motel. They have cottages as well, which I can’t comment on. Excellent mini split air-conditioning (which surprisingly was needed given the location, but it was quite warm when we were there). TV which I never turned on because why would you when you can watch the ocean Jessie runs the main office and couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. I would definitely stay here again and the price was quite reasonable I thought.

The location was great! Just across the street from a small beach, and you could watch the sunset from the motel.

They have only one dog friendly room, and that is not clearly noted on Booking.com, nor do you have the option of booking a specific room. Luckily the hotel was very accommodating and moved us to the pet friendly room so it was fine, but when booking online make sure you also call the hotel to ensure they have a pet friendly room!

Leak in bathroom floor

We stayed in one of the cottages. The location, view, spacious private yard with patio stones, decor inside cottage, all wonderful! I really liked the fact that there was air conditioning in both the living room and one of the bedrooms!!

The view and the location

The room was very small, but it was super clean and everything you need was supplied. The room will be more comfortable with one bed instead of 2 for the size of the room.

Staff were super friendly and very helpful. Sheets and towels were luxurious and mattress was very comfortable.

Rooms are small. Windows are small. The beautiful bay view had to be enjoyed from outside the room on the lawn in the nice Adirondack chairs provided. Most evenings this worked great.

Beautiful location, water view, amazing sunsets!! BBQ for supper and lawn chairs were the perfect touches for our sunset watching. Clean rooms, with updates...close to everything! Lovely staff, attentive and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

The only thing that's mentionable for a down side is the hot water in the shower took several minutes to heat up. Be patient it may take a while but it's nice and hot when it gets there....😉

The motel was lovely - with views of Friar's Bay across the road. The room was basic, but very clean and comfortable. Adirondack chairs were placed in front of every unit for guests to enjoy.

Ok location, nice staff

Very small room, no breakfast included. Bought coffee and it was watered down, tasteless. Difficult to bring in luggage no paved walk ways, had travel over loose rocks.

We loved the brightness of the room and its proximity to the ocean. It was comfortable and comforting. We would come again!

Keys for the cottage

Found it very convenient after visiting Campobello in the afternoon and going back in the morning for tea with 'Eleanor'.

Stay went well for us and it was handy having a restaurant just next door for breakfast. Bought an apron with a lobster on it for my son in law who loves to bar-b-que. Had nice selection of gifts to choose from. Food was very good.

No sink or dishes or cutlery in the 'kitchen'. Fridge minute , only room enough for our water bottles!! No room for bottle of milk. Only a pod coffee maker so no means to make a cup of tea. Room very small and few amenities for the price.

The beach right across the road

Everything here was perfect

The location was beautiful, the staff was super helpful and professional, outdoor amenities were great -the cornhole and we got to borrow the two bicycles with helmets. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the unit and lots of hangers. The outside deck chairs were great and views amazing.

We had the family cabin for six people:The kitchen was basic and could have used at least one bigger pot, a sponge for the.kitchen. Barbecue tools would have been nice for the grill.

Very kind and friendly staff, recently renovated rooms, clean, comfortable and scenic location.

Great location. Friendly staff. The Porch next door (within walking distance) is great too. Convenient to everything the island has to offer and nearby Lubec. If you are a light sleeper, take ear plugs as walls are thin, each room is connected in the main building. Dog friendly!!

About the only thing I didn't care for was that the shower head was very hard pressure to the point that the water hitting the body was a bit painfull

It didn't look like much from the outside. But the rooms were freshly redecorated and the bed was super comfortable. Immaculately clean! Appreciated a refrigerator in the room as well as a microwave.

The stall shower could have been slightly larger. This is a quibble.

We ate breakfast at the nearby Porch Restaurant. It was excellent.

Weak wifi

Beautiful location overlooking Friars bay. Lots of outdoor relaxing chairs to enjoy the views. The room was spotless and the shower was hot. Coffee ☕️maker in the room along with micro n frig. Staff is just delightful. Nice location and the restaurant next door was good.

Walls are pretty thin between units but thankfully it wasn't much of an issue. I didn't find the bed particularly comfortable. But I slept! I would stay again.

I loved the cleanliness of the room. The staff was exceptional. Loved the decor and appreciated the lawn chairs in front of our room. Beds were very comfortable

I was disappointed that there was no cutlery, kettle or dishes. Even bare minimum would have been nice but the ladies were very accommodating. I should have probably looked a little closer when I booked

The only downside is the TV mounted on the wall in the neighboring room so when it was on the sound came straight through the wall. Modern TVs have the speakers on the back so having it on a shared wall is not a great idea. Luckily, we only had one night Where the people stayed up and watch TV. Other than that we loved everything about the place.
