It was a peaceful stay. The place is quiet and the room was clean and big, and the patio was a nice area to spend a peaceful night listening to the sounds of nature. There is a cafe where you can get your meals without leaving the place, and I recommend having your own transportation to explore around.
The swimming pool was not very clean, but usable, maybe because it is winter, but it was hot in the afternoon.

Good budget cabin accommodation in beautiful surroundings of paddy fields and distant mountains. Very helpful staff. Good food and not expensive. Recommend for travelers.
Beautiful view, the room was basic the staff was kind, very value for money!!🤍
Deep in the mountains.
It was so deep in the mountains that it was creepy. The smell of burning fields was so strong that it felt like I was in a room filled with mosquito coils. Also, the door wouldn't open. I canceled and came out, but I got lost on the mountain path and almost got lost.
Superb spot, surrounded by butterflies, dragonflies and singing frogs. Utterly peaceful….Lovely staff, very helpful. Very close to the impressive Mae Klang waterfall.
Beds are a bit hard for western tastes and the pool was a little cloudy. Would absolutely go back there though….. this our second visit.
Super friendly staff, and the restaurant serves a good Thai dinner.
The rice field and the Lilly’s
Rooms were not well insulated. No fresh fruit. Juice was processed not fresh. Staff had no knowledge on a local taxi.
Nice set up. A bit far from anything else
Great location and amazing surroundings
Room overlooked rice fields, good size, clean. Only stayed one night, so did not use the pool, but it looked ok, again, in a nice setting. Evening meal was very good, excellent value for money, and served with a smile. Breakfast also good. Frogs croaking away through the evening was great!
Bathroom was a bit basic, no shelf to put your stuff on so had to use the toilet cistern. Would be good if the shower hose reached the sink so that you can wash with warmer water.
We were pleasantly surprised! The cabins were really cute, windows all around to see the rice paddies. We took a dip in the pool too which was great. Each cabin seems to be facing the centre of the properties with a noce view. Its so quiet and lots of nature sounds in the evening. Surprisingly no mosquitos! It seemed we were the only guests on a 30 cabin property! The property has a restaurant but it seems you have to find the staff and tell them when youll want to eat and they will be there to prep for you. Theres a convenience store close by (you pass it to get there) and its everything you need.
Quiet and peaceful. Right on a paddy field away from the crowds. Staff was incredible! They rented me a motorbike for my stay, even charged me for a half day instead of full, I didn’t ask, they just did. Amazing. Even helped me with a taxi back to Chiang Mai. Very pleased with everything. The stay was peaceful and serene and just what I needed. The bed and the entire cottage was clean and airy. Loved falling asleep hearing the frogs all night. I miss it already.
The wifi was a little spotty.
It was a quaint quiet spot and our little chalet was facing a small rice field. We were able to sit out on our balcony and enjoy the peacefulness of the place. They have a small restaurant and the food was very good. Breakfast was also good and the prices were amazing.
The area is amazing with beautiful views! First impression though was not good at all. At check in the guy seemed very rushed and literelly run of after showing us the cabin while we were asking him a few questions, very rude. Then we asked about transport to the bus and they werent honest about it not being a transport but that we had to drive ourselves on a scooter while they were transporting our bags. We didnt really appraciate that since it would have been nice to be asked since we actually paid for a transport.
Tranquil location in among rice paddies, quiet and a great base for visiting the National Park. We had a basic, comfortable room with clean beds and enough room for our family. Bathroom was a bit smelly and basic but the shower had hot water. Kids swam in the pool which they enjoyed. The restaurant is good with delicious food. Just have to wait a long time for it as they only have a few staff.
Restaurant serves excellent food Peaceful setting
Bathroom very basic Food service very slow
Good location
Beautiful property. Great to sit out on the deck and listen to nature. Staff is excellent and friendly. Highly recommend
Incredible location, very tranquil. Swimming pool looking out to the mountains. Hammock on balcony. Just an amazing place to relax. Food on site cooked fresh and delicious. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would 100% book again. Sad we could only stay 1 night.
10000/10 you should stay here! The staff, the location, the vibe, the sunsets, the food. Everything was perfection. A 30 minute drive to the national park, owner arranged a bike for us only $10 per day which made it super convenient!
Be prepared for an hour and a half drive back to Chiang Mai. That’s the beauty of it.
If you want to live on a rice field with an amazing view of the mountains - that's a place for you!
The staff were very polite and the place had a home-like feeling. The owner was incredibly helpful. He personally drove us for to see the Don Inthanon National Park and even to our next destination. The surrounding was also spectacular (among the rice fields).
The bathroom was a little too small.
Staff were friendly and the location was convenient for Doi Inthanon NP if you have transport.
The place was poorly managed. The accommodation needed a bit of care and attention, e.g. large gaps in the door, and our colleagues sliding glass door was likely to fall out. Staff were not particularly visible and the place seemed to left to kids to run.
The bungalows are nice and confortable, The small pool is amazing, and the rice fields all around the resort are also super amazing. Overall, a great experience next to Doi Inthanon.
I did not complain but it's really NOT nice to arrive in a place you booked / paid a long time in advance and not be in the list of guests... Fortunately, they realized (after calling the owner I guess) that I was supposed to stay there. And, luckily, there was still one bungalow left for me. I can't imagine if it had been fully booked ... Another thing, but it's NOT the resort fault : booking.com charged me soooo much more (at least +60/70 %) compared to the price quoted at the resort. I wonder why I am Genius Level 3 ... Try to book directly from the Resort if you come here, not through Booking.com.
Resort was considerably near the Doi Inthanon ticketing entrance. Koy from the resort was a great help, setting us up with transport arrangements and readying bicycles for us to do short trips about town. The resort is tranquil and just perfect for a 3d2n escape to the mountainsides
Beautiful scenery with garden and mountain views giving a wonderful sunset. Staff were very helpful even with the small amount of english spoken and my Thai. Would happily stay again.
Nice rural setting. Loved our little veranda. Comfortable bed. Bathroom was very basic.
Location (we visited Doi Inthanon). Food in restaurant was great! Nice scenery.
Toilet was plugged: we reported this one hour after checkin when we used the toilet. Issue was solved quickly, we were strongly suggested to not throw toilet paper in the toilet; but it was not ours so we felt quite a bit offended. And actually we would not even blame our precessors because it was not even indicated. The issue of communication is something here: when we first asked it was said “no restaurant”; and a bit later when we got some drinks we asked again (because we saw the fridge with a lot of fresh vegetables) and restaurant would open at 7 pm. Same for checking out: are we supposed to leave the key in the room or leave it at the reception (where nobody was at the time). All in all, we loved our stay, but it was a bit difficult to get to know how to get around.
Place was nice and peaceful
Excellent basic accommodation in a beautiful setting. It had everything we needed for a two night stay. The staff were very friendly and polite and the on site restaurant provided a very good breakfast and excellent evening meals. We'll never forget the sound of the frogs in the rice fields as night fell. We'd happily stay again.
It was a very special experience to stay one night out there in the nature. For that it was sensational.
They don't speak any English. There is a restaurant but it was not in service and it was challenging to find food in the evening as well as in the morning. But for the experience it's worth it and not a problem.
Excellent price/quality value Friendly owner Good restaurant Sunset at the swimming pool is really beautiful!
Nothing
Great place for relaxation. Hang out with friends or family.
We got there by car, so we didn't care for a place to be a bit far from everything. We used the restaurant for dinner and breakfast ant the food was great. The pool and the view are perfect and we enjoed it a lot.
The sower wasn't so comfort especially with a baby. It was sleepery
Nice locations for Doi Inthanon N.P. Newly renovated nice houses in paddy field. Bonus: new swimming pool and fantastic restaurant.
A few bungalows are basic / not yet renovated. All others are great.
The place is very nice. It is exactly like what they advertised. The bed is comfy. The staff is very nice and always smiling. They provide big parking area and swimming pool. Went there on hot season so i think i'm probably the only guest they had that night. Choose to stay here because they are among a few okay places that near to Doii Inthanon.
Location is quite far from the center.
Love this place - I enjoy coming here often because its a nice location and remote and quiet!
Very relaxing stay. Quiet and pretty surroundings. The grounds are full of trees and nature. Nice pool. Friendly and kind staff. Can order breakfast, lunch and tea at any time until 8 - food is good! Recommend renting a bike from the accomodation as the national park is far - but it is very fun to ride the bike there as you can explore yourself. The transfer to the airport was great. The owner is very helpful and has lots of good information.
Nice little individual cabins in rice fields. The staff were very friendly. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and clean. The location is good for going into the National parks and for visiting waterfalls. which there are many.
My stay was very short, but pleasant. Comfortable and clean room with a view. Surprisingly loud sounds of frogs, crickets and birds at night — totally amazing. Seeing the sun rise over the rice paddy — unforgettable 💜
This place is just beautiful. Our room has three French windows looking out to the paddies. All we can hear is the sound of birds, crickets or frogs. There is nice bar/restaurant and the ladies running it are really cheerful. It is a bit hard to find so make sure you arrive in daylight. The locals know the place well and will help you find it. Well worth it and a good base to visit ‘must see’ places.
Friendly staffs and peaceful
pool, quiet, nice to have on site dining
some bits felt a bit unfinished
Nok Chan Mee Na is located outside of a small village in a nice country side, 15 min from Chor Tong and 30 min from Don Inthanon. The place is very simple and clean and the service is friendly also they barely speak english. We stayed in a bungalow with a charming view on rice fields for 2 nights in Dec 2022. The Breakfast is very simple, no fruits, instant coffee, tea and milkpowder. But the restaurant serves quiet good meals in the evening. For the price it was really ok.
The location is rural not that far from the main park high way . The surrounding paddies are great and make for a very relaxing vista . The pool is a bonus
The meals at the restaurant are ok but pricey for what they are Better food is found at the restaurants 3-4 kn away . The first restaurant as you turn left at the junction on the main highway is good . Freshly cooked and good portions
Peaceful feeling returning every day to rice paddies Comfortable cabins Delicious food
Breakfast options not great It would be helpful if staff knew more English
Chalet type rooms overlooking the padi fields
Nothing much, mosquitoes here and there in the common areas
I first stayed here 3 years ago and it absolutely fantastic. A small family run hotel it is literally my favourite hotel in Thailand. I spent the afternoon enjoying a few beers in the pool with a fantastic view Thanks again x
nice atmosphere, quite difficult to get there without driving there as it is outside the city, but to get the fresh the air breach in early morning this is the recommended place to stay.
Pool and the staff were both very, very good.
A bit disappointing that one of my group had their room quite some distance from the rest. But, really no big deal. This place was a little hard to find without Satnav = Signage upgrade would help.
Great room. Beautiful setting. Great balcony overlooking the rice fields. Great view of the mountains. Very quiet and relaxing.
Love this farm/lodge/hotel/stay. Chose this as this was the best place to rest if your partner/family member wants to cycle Doi Inthanon. Koy, owner is jack of all trades. He picked us up from CNX and communication was clear via email. You can also whatsapp him. His staff Nan, was also the kindest, and quite a funny guy. He'll try to accommodate you, and we are pleased that even though they don't offer vegetarian food in their restaurant, they cooked no meat, no chicken, no seafood, no egg Tom Yam for us. This is a great place to sleep, not think about work, read a book, and just stare into a literal green fields of vastness. :) I highly recommend staying here for more than 2 nights. Room was basic but comfortable. The only critique I can mention is the breakfast. For vegetarians, you can only eat bread, so I suggest rent a scooter and buy fruits in the stalls around the area. They are cheap and healthy too!
Beautiful little houses on the rice field. The surroundings are also very beautiful. I wish we had the chance to stay longer. The caretakers (husband and wife) are very friendly and helpful.
Nothing. But you need a car, it is a bit remote, but that is why I chose this location.
