Excellent value for money - large room with good amenities. Pauline is a very thoughtful host, with a great eye for details that her guests will appreciate. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful!

A lovely host who was very attentive, and a gorgeous Irish teach - very comfortable and clean, Pauline had everything ready and prepared for us.

We had an absolutely delightful stay. Our rooms were so comfortable and breakfast delicious. Everywhere was super clean. Pauline is a very welcoming friendly host. We felt very happy with our stay, Brookvale is such a peaceful haven, would definitely recommend.

Myself and my partner had the loveliest time at brookdale. We couldn't fault anything and Pauline looked after us the whole time we were there and gave us a good recommendation for dinner. The garden room was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Thanks again Pauline and hope to see you again!

Obwohl wir wegen einer gesperrten Straße etwa eine ganze Stunde zu spät kamen, waren die Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen. Die Zimmer waren mit antiken Möbeln ausgestattet, was eine gemütliche Atmosphäre gab. Man fühlte sich gleich wohl. Im Badezimmer gab es neben der Dusche sogar eine schöne alte Badewanne. Man konnte abends im Frühstücksraum sitzen, der dann eher ein Kaminzimmer mit Fernseher war. Das Frühstück war gut und unsere Gastgeberin wieder sehr zuvorkommend. Da sie wohl merkte, dass wir eher zurückhaltende Leute sind, war sie freundlich und gut gelaunt, aber nicht bedrängend. Das hat mir gut gefallen.

The hosts were extra nice and kept in touch right up to my stay. The house was easy to find from the instructions. When I arrived quite late (off the ferry from England) the hosts made me a lovely cup of tea and a piece of cake. The room was lovely and the bed was super comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious.

This is a lovely property. We had a beautiful room with a super comfortable big bed. The attention to detail was fantastic and our hosts were so welcoming and friendly. Cooked breakfast was amazing with good choices and quality. Delicious home made cake too! Thank you for a wonderful stay and for sharing route tips with us. We loved staying here and would definitely come back again.

Fantastic friendly owners, Chris and Pauline, exceptionally clean and everything supplied that you possibly want. Breakfast was amazing, the grounds were impeccable and made welcome to use the garden furniture.

Pauline ist eine tolle und freundliche Gastgeberin. Das Zimmer war klein aber es war alles vorhanden! Shampoos in Bio Qualität und sogar an Abschminkprodukte wurde gedacht. Tolles Frühstück zu einen fairen Preis. Brookvale ist nur zu empfehlen.

Brookvale was easy to find and only a 30 minute drive from the ferry port. We had a lovely comfortable room and slept really well. Breakfast was excellent and the host could not have been more helpful giving us ideas for our onward journey. We would definitely recommend either as a stopover or for a longer stay as there seemed plenty of places to visit nearby that we didn't have time to go to.

I loved how cosy, clean and friendly it was here. It was lovely sitting outside overlooking the fields and the bathroom was exceptionally nice!! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Pauline was an amazing host. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were great! The bathroom was very big and beautiful. If we were to come back to the area we would 100% stay again!

Great location and a lovely room. Chris and Pauline were perfect hosts and made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfast was superb (the best on my entire trip!). I was motorcycling around Ireland and Pauline was kind enough to print me out a suggested route for the day. Thoroughly recommended.

The location and the cozy atmosphere. Chris even lit a fire in the sitting room for us so when we returned from an evening out, we had a great time sitting back and talking about our day in front of a warm inviting fire. Nice way to end a busy day.

We had a wonderful stay at Brookvale! The hosts were so welcoming from arrival, offering tea and coffee with a homemade slice! The location was so convenient. The host even kindly offered and drove us to a nearby wedding venue were we were celebrating our friends wedding at Horetown house.

Everything. Pauline was very friendly and welcoming, greeting us at the door. All the rooms are furnished with quality antique furniture and the beds are very comfortable. There is a comfy visitors’ lounge with a lovely log stove and fridge, microwave and kettle. Breakfast is better than at any top class hotel, with at least 6 choices of freshly cooked breakfast plus all the usual trimmings, including fresh fruit, tea brack and even home made muffins! The garden was made freely available for us to exercise our dog, who slept in the bedroom in his travel crate and was also made welcome. We’ve booked in for our return journey already!

There was nothing to dislike except that the road outside is very busy, so dog walking was limited to the property. However traffic noise was not a problem in the house at all.

Our stay at Brookvale was very enjoyable . Pauline , the owner was so friendly & nice , offered lovely tea & cake on our arrival . It was a great location as we were attending a wedding in Hortene House Hotel .

The house was beautiful and had so many lovely touches. Pauline and Chris were super friendly and helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. We stayed here to visit the Saltee Islands and see the puffins and it was a wonderful location, close and easy to reach, but still quiet. Would absolutely stay here again!

Les chambres sont très confortables et bien équipées. L'accueil est très chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner est incroyable ! Merci beaucoup pour toutes les attentions faites à vos hôtes !

We had a fantastic two night stay in Brookvale. Pauline was extremely kind and hospitable and even gave us a lift to the wedding nearby. Our room was extremely comfortable and en-suite bathroom had very nice extra touches with everything you could possibly need. Incredible breakfast which Id highly recommend going for. Home made banana bread was delicious. Could not fault anything.

Hartelijke ontvangst door gastvrouw! We kregen koffie met zelfgemaakte cake en koffie. Mooie sfeervolle kamer met meer dan voldoende faciliteiten en goede parkeergelegenheid. Ook onze hond was welkom. In het restaurant dat onze gastvrouw adviseerde hebben wij heerlijk gegeten.

Even though dressing gowns provided and not seeing other guests , it was disjointed walking to the private bath room across the corridor - however the room itself amazing!! Very spacious and luxurious.

Owner was extremely accommodating and could not have been more helpful. Rooms were spotless and spacious, and breakfast was hearty and delicious. As bikers we were made very welcome with a safe and dry space to park our bikes. Perfect spot if you've just got off the ferry ready to explore Ireland.

Wir wurden von einer sehr freundlichen, herzlichen, pragmatischen sowie hilfsbereiten Gastgeberin empfangen, die uns bei der Auswahl des Restaurants für das Abendessen (mit Hund) geholfen und uns mit einem bezaubernden Frühstück den Morgen verschönert hat. We had a fabulous stay in Brookvale. Pauline and Chris were lovely, friendly and welcoming. The room had treats and tea & coffee. It was a very spacious room.

Our hostess Pauline was very welcoming an attentive. The food was exceptionally good with beautiful home baking, the carrot cake we received with our tea on our arrival set the tone for the remainder of our stay.

We honestly could not find anything to meet with our disapproval. The location, ambience, accommodation,, cleanliness and service were 100% +. The Brookvale is in a great location, easy to find with ample and safe parking space.

Ein wunderbar herzlicher warmer Empfang- obwohl wir erst abends recht spät eintrafen, hat Pauline uns noch Tee und Café serviert , uns mit wesentlichen Informationen bestückt und war behilflich in der Nähe einen Platz fürs Abendessen zu finden. Das Frühstück am Morgen war sensationell- die warmherzige Atmosphäre während der gesamten Zeit, insgesamt als würde man einfach nach Hause kommen !

Pauline hat uns so herzlich empfangen. Es ist ein wirklich außergewöhnlich tolles b&b. Die Lage zur Rosslare Fähre ist super. Das ganze Hause und das Grundstück riesig. Pauline hat uns liebevoll empfangen und ist sehr kinderlieb. Das Zimmer und das Bad war klasse ausgestattet hier ist alles da, was man braucht. Das Frühstück war ein Traum! Wir kommen sicher wieder, vielen Dank Pauline, you are a star.
