Believe Caribbean Apartment

Located in a quiet residential area. Spacious & clean. Everything worked fine.

Walking distance to Carlisle Bay for me but for many people a car rental would be beneficial. Only a gas station nearby for snacks & drinks.

The quite

Not enough shops ad convenient stores in the location

No breakfast

Arrived late to collect me at the airport Was told I would be taken to a supermarket to get stuff but I was taken to a gas station which didn't even have butter Kettle didn't work (got it on 1 time) wall plug I believe need attention Stove the lighter left to work the stove didn't work The kettle on the gas stove was not cleaned For me the pillows was very hard

Clean, comfortable, close to the best beach in Bridgetown (10 min walk). Air conditioning in the sleeping room. Stove, fridge, microwave etc. Separate porch with a table and two chairs. Very quiet but still close to everything: 30 min walk on the shore to bus station from where I went to Bathsheba and Martin's bay for a hike to Bath beach. Supermarket just in front of bus station.

Die Unterkunft war sauber und bequem, das Personal freundlich.

Leider war mir die Unterkunft zu weit entfernt sowohl zum Strand, als auch zu Restaurants und Bars.

Location was far

Great location. 10 min walk to the beach. Will definitely book this apartment again.

Location

One of the two bedrooms was not cleaned properly and the excuse from the cleaner was that she didn't know that both rooms would be used. There were at least 30 flies in that room. I spent 2 days killing them. Apparently to get a blanket for the room you needed to request one. And there were no hand towels (not in the kitchen, not for the bathroom). The owner was however very responsive, but assumed that they were not on the island to assist.

The apartment is located in a good neighbourhood. 5 min walk to Browne’s Beach. Close to a grocery store and many smaller stores. The kitchen is well stocked in terms of plates etc. the housekeeper Antonia was available if we needed nothing. We will definitely book again

Nothing. It was perfect

The lady who picked me up from the airport was really lovely and friendly

I had a lot of issues with hot water - there basically was none and it wasn’t very clean. I tried to have it resolved but the host didn’t manage to and didn’t refund me

It was safe and clean, staff friendly.

The property was well-kept in a quiet area with great communication from Shawn & Tricia.

Clean room, close to the beach, 15 minutes walking. The property provided a transfer to the apartment and even stopped at the supermarket so I could buy supplies — great service. For a couple looking just to enjoy the beach, it’s a good place. Pebbles Beach is very beautiful and perfect for spending several days. Just don’t expect luxury — the property is really simple, but it’s clean and ideal for those who just need a place to sleep, while still allowing you to experience the local culture better.

Great location, reliable staff and clean.

The owner (Shawn) was extremely responsive and helpful. Pick up was safe. Trecia was very helpful

Walking close to beach Easy to get a taxi bus

A few more hangers better dishes salads bowls stainless steel cook ware healthier a blender as better cutlery it's like home

Perfect for solo travel and short stays as the space is very small.

I like the prize and it had a lot of the things that offered.

Maybe in the evening the neighborhood it’s a little darkness but if you take a take a taxi.

Close to beach, amazing air con in rooms, enough around. Pretty well had everything that we needed!

Didn't have much hot water but with the heat, didn't really need it!

I did not like that the property was advertised as having air conditioning, but there was only air conditioning in the bedroom. The rest of the apartment was sweltering, with only a floor fan that did not cool the living room or kitchen. That meant I had to spend most of my time in the bedroom. The apartment had two bath towels and no face towels. There is a washer but no dryer. It would be a nice touch to provide a couple of bottles of complimentary water for the arriving guests. Overall, the place was a good value for the money, despite the above-mentioned issues.

I am satified with my experience at believe carbbean apartments. I would like to recomment lint free tawels and sheets. Also one of the cupboards was a little dirty. The manager of the property was very helpful and assisted us very well.

The location is in the quiet area of Bridgetown. It was nice to live a local experience. There is an awesome beach (Pebbles beach) in just a 10-15 min distance. The downtown is a 25 min walk or a 5-7 min distance by bus or by car.

Location good and quiet. Friendly locals

Although the bed linen and towels were clean, we felt the apartment needs a good spring clean, especially the kitchen Lack of instruction re tv etc and no information about the area. The “excursion” organised for us was below standard, the driver/guide admitted that she did not know much about the island.

Shawn was waiting in the apartment to check us in before 3 pm. His recommendations about places to eat were very good. He provided extra toilet paper for the last day. The apartment is big and the ACs in the bedrooms work perfectly fine.

The toilet was leaking water on the floor after flushing it. The apartment is about 4 blocks from the beach.

Firstly I was well received by an informative and professional driver.. thank you.. She followed you during my brief stay and I did get to see alot of the island .. ideal location to mix with the locals.. I would definitely visit this place again..

G8 value for a 3 star accommodation. Good location with spacious living room and kitchen. On second floor with one air conditioner in bedroom and fans in other rooms.

Communication with property manager was excellent 👍

Host collected us from Airport ... No keys !! codes were arranged

Nothing

Sean was fantastic. He was helpful and responsive before, during and after check-in. He made arrangements for us to store our luggage until we could check in, then personally drove us to the apartment and gave us the door code and pertinent information. Then he arranged a day-trip driver for us for the next day and transfer to the airport the day after that. What a great help to make our short stay in Bridgetown even better! The apartment was only a 10-minute walk straight down Beckles Road to gorgeous Pebbles Beach and the services available there. The studio apartment was small and very basic, but had good AC and a kitchenette, and was scrupulously clean. The property was well-maintained and the surrounding community was quiet, felt safe and had additional amusement provided by the local chickens and roosters :-)

The studio was excellent, small but well-appointed kitchen and excellent air-conditioned. Everything was as I expected. Shawn was an excellent host. I was picked up at the airport, and Shawn stopped at the supermarket for me to pick up any groceries I needed. The location is a leisurely 10m walk to Carlisle Bay, which is a wonderful beach, and there are many bus stops close by. The location felt very safe and was quiet. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Shawn

All good

There is everything you need for short stay.

Property was well kept and secure, owner communications was excellent, I’ll visit again

The accommodation is quite small, about the size of a standard hotel room. I think the building is a 3 unit townhouse. The room has a small kitchen though with a sink, gas range, microwave, toaster and mini fridge/freezer. It's tucked just far enough away that we found ourselves walking at least 15 minutes to get just about anywhere to start. One of the closer nearby walks worth visiting is Carlisle Bay though - lots of water activities, bars/restaurants, and nice beaches to lounge at there. There were certainly nicer, bigger, and more exciting accommodations available than this one. But they cost a lot more. I'm quite happy with the experience given the price. I'd recommend it for those trying to do Barbados on a budget.

It was great to stay in the heart of the community. The apartment was comfortable, and it was about a 10-minute walk from the beach. It was great having a code for entry, so no worries about carrying keys around. Shawn met me and was very friendly. It proved a great base for getting around from. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place that’s not a far walk from the beach. Property manager (owner?) is super friendly and can help arrange pickup from airport too! Had a kitchen and all amenities needed for a comfortable and longer term stay. Would definitely recommend!

Had a peaceful pleasant stay.

The property was clean cozy & very comfortable

The place was very well located, very comfortable great wifi and Shawn and Verna were very responsive

All was good

Very attentive and friendly hosts, very responsive

How morern everything was. The aesthetics were refreshing. Particularly liked the close proximity to main places of interest. Mr. Shawn was exceptionally helpful. Great host!!

The faucet in the face basin in the bath is way too short. It was a bit inconvenient using it. No water tank so when the main water supply was cut off we had to use containers.

Breakfast was not included. Location was okay no complaints quiet comfortable

Wish there was an iron available

Shawn is a very friendly and good landlord. The trips around the island with him were great. I would go to him the next time when I should return to the island. The Apartment is nearby the best beach of Barbados.

It was so close to the beach and Bus station

Air Condition position was just towards the bed . It was freezing when it was turned on and in other hand it became too hot when i turned it off . I think its better to change its position a bit farther from the bed

Convenient the location near to the town

Good ground-floor apartment in a safe quiet area. Excellent beach a few minutes walk away, although not many restaurants within walking distance, but close to bus stops Shawn is an excellent host and gave us a good price for picking us up from the airport and taking us to the cruise terminal when we left.

The property owner was very nice and helpful

We really enjoyed staying in a community. A great way to experience Bajan culture. By exploring a bit we found a few nice little variety/grocery stores which provided aĺl the basics. A 10 minute walk to Bay St. got us to a couple of local restaurants that had more reasonable prices than the more touristy spots. We found the bus system was great. Took a bus to Bathsheba and on another day to Folkstowne. Very reasonable pricing. Especially enjoyed our visits to Browne's Beach (10 minute walk). Lots of local families, all ages, enjoying themselves. The studio apartment is cozy and basic. The host, Shawn, was helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.

Nothing we didn't like, but..... it's a little tight working in the kitchen with more than one person. Had to make sure my wife stayed out of the way 🙂. There is no table inside to eat on, but a nice little private porch with a table and chairs worked fine. Step stool would be helpful to reach higher cupboards.

Shawn is a super nice host! The apartment is also very nice. Has all you need for an amazing stay in Barbados.

Nothing, good deal for your money.

Host was very hospitable

Everything was Good

Good location easy check in place is really nice and cozy. Great stay 👍

I appreciated the clean environment and the basic amenities that were available.

The property owner is very helpful. Very clean. It is a very good value property.

We enjoyed staying here. Easy communication with our hosts. Had everything we needed for our stay. Easy access to everything. Near the beach and easy to get to other areas of the island. Would stay here again in the future.

Great Location

Convenient base. No hassle Fantastic host

Small in size but no issues

Very clean, comfortable, easy to find.

À disturbing noise in the evening, no idea what is was,an alarm, birds, a whistle, frogs...

The host was very attentive and personable. He was available to answer questions, make suggestions and drive us to destinations.

The street noise was a little loud at times.

Wonderful communication between yourself and management and the price is very reasonable

I like the cleanness and the owner is very nice

I liked the proximity of the property to the beach and the main roads to Bridgetown, The Pine and the Garrison. It was a state-of-the-art property. Ample room for a comfortable stay.

No telephone in the 2 bed apartment. No fly nets at the windows.

The property and hosts were superb. The property is located in a central location. The area was quiet and cosy. The facilities were ultra comfortable and the prices were reasonable.

Everything was perfect.

I love the entire appartment

The only problem I had when I cook something the smell stay inside I think it's because of the window near the kitchen

It was ok but further than expected

The sitting room was really hot during the day, no Netflix on the television and the toilet sink tap was too small and short.

It was very easy to communicate on WhatsApp with Shawn prior to arrival. We arranged to be picked up at the airport and he drove us to the apartment, showed us how the door security codes worked and showed us around the apartment. Everything in the apartment was fine, good WiFi, good shower and both bedrooms had excellent air conditioning units. A good fridge, microwave and kitchen facilities were available if required. Payment with Shawn was easy and he gave us a lift back to the airport on departure.

Nothing to complain about.

we couldn’t even get into the property, really bad communication afterwards so can’t actually say anything I liked. lucky our taxi driver waited until we were in, unfortunately even he couldn’t get us in.

awful location, definitely not as described. lack of communication.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. Proximity to beach is about 10 minutes walk.

Room could be a bit cleaner. The towels fall apart when you use them. New matress is needed.

All was to our liking.

If anything it was a walk to the beach and transport but it is a little thing. All was fine

Quiet and just right. It’s in close proximity to everything, beaches, malls, embassy, gas stations etc

Shawn is an excellent manager. He helped me at all times. Clean and safe apartment.

The apartment is not precisely close to the main grocery stores and Bridgetown downtown.

great value on a budget every thing you need

a little out of the way but can walk to beach approx 15 mins
