Property and lodge far exceeded our expectations, The staff were friendly and helpful , and lodge is really outstanding in decor and comfort , the food was excellent and we were not expecting such a marvelous establishment

We got an upgrade (from tent to family suite) The suit was beautiful and luxurious and the resulting price-performance ratio was amazing. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and they even cooked something for us in the evening from the food we had brought with us, as there was no kitchen in the room. A thousand thanks for a great stay!

Fantastic and very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice spacious rooms and bathrooms with everything that one needs. The breakfast and dinner menu and quality of the food was fantastic and the service also excellent. Very good facilities and beautiful sundowner deck on a hill.

We were only people in the lodge (no other guests) - so was a bit strange. Price is probably a bit prohibitive for a lot of people.

Very beautiful place gardens are well maintained. The food was really tasty from the menu.

Issues with check-in. Almost felt like intruders. Had to double pay for the room. The original booking was breakfast included then they removed they changed the rates and made us pay for breakfast. After we sorted out the payments the restaurant/ bar was closed before 3pm. Had to lay at the pool no drinks had to wait till 6pm for dinner to start. We were the only people at the resort so they didn’t make fire at the boma to social, was explained only when they have more people. Nor did not they offer any game drive limited us only to the camp / room and pool with no drinks. On the website they offered wine and gin tasting, that was also not available on the day. We didn’t get the full experience but don’t think I will go back any time soon.

Breakfast and all the meals were devine. The staff in particular are always friendly, helpful and goes more than the extra mile. We will definitely visit Kilima again.

Great views, got to see animals while taking a swim which was just exquisite. Andries was a good caretaker.

Not too great for self-catering and we didn't have a kettle to make our own tea/coffee in the morning.

Everything was perfect but they need to review their food menu.i think the resort need to invest more on big five.the game drive was too quiet cause we only saw the general animals

I loved everything about the place. We were there for Christmas (which also happens to be my birthday), and everyone made sure we had the best time. We were upgraded to the King Suite due to a mini mix up when we arrived, so that was really amazing. The staff is very kind and very helpful. Everyone ensured that our stay was a 10/10 experience. Loved it! Would definitely go back.

Drive long way for This holiday is out of my expectation on this 5star accommodation .book for 2 night .only stay 1night then leave . never has holiday like this .the family room has insect drop off to the bed not sleep well .For the meal only 3 option to select limited food Every food is looking beautiful but not tasty First night dinner food make me run toilet thinking food not fresh. is this for real 5star ? Wasn't how can all reviews are good ? Very bad trips.

I liked everything about the place

The Venue and Location was beautiful. Andries and the Assistant GM made our stay a memorable and pleasurable one. The food was of a good quality. Our Anniversary night dinner was beautifully put together and we had a great time.

The limited items available on the menu. Out of 8 starters only 3 were available. Even the Dinner and Dessert items that were listed on the menu were not all available. The part I disliked the most was the limited time given to have breakfast 7-9am, lunch I think was 12-2pm and dinner 6-9pm. For a 5 star establishment this is absolutely ridiculous. When you are meant to be resting and enjoying your holiday, you have to stress about getting to the restaurant before the kitchen closes. We actually had very limited meals there and rather chose to drive out and eat elsewhere where we didn't have to eat between certain timelines.

I enjoyed my birthday getaway,Everythingwas superb from the customer service to the rooms everything was just amazing the rooms were spacious and neat everything was amazing maan,the food was amazing I'm definitely coming back for my December holidays,this is really a 5 star hotel

The facility is quite beautiful and having the animals come so close to the fence is wonderful. Everything is clean and the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The food is not so great as the price is far too much for the portion one gets. The starter of mushroom risotto was exceptionally great, but the pork belly/wellington main was not as good. The portions were very small and left us hungry. The pork was slightly overcooked and the wellington too dry. Dessert was amazing. An overall great experience, however, there is a conservation fee that is added afterwards of R150 per person. In our case R200 extra was added even after we paid the full price via booking.com

There was nothing that I did not like

The rooms were clean and comfortable.

unfortunately they were renovating the pools and it was a bit noisy.

Everything was great. I travelled solo to reset and I wasn't disappointed. The spa treatment was wonderful and the environment is tranquil and refreshing. Amazing staff. Just a heads up; the road is a bit rocky & bumpy especially after the railway pass. My Etios handled it well but I had to navigate very slowly.

The game drive was amazing. The location of the resort is really beautiful. The hotel Spa lived up to our expectations. All the staff were wonderful.

Work commenced on the swimming pool right outside our room, we were not offered alternative accommodation away from the workers and the noise. For a five star resort the food was below average to average at best. It did not live up to the hype created by the resorts website.
