1969 Business Suites

Everything about this hotel is awesome. Except for.... you must make sure you tell the Grab driver the correct hotel. There are 2 locations of 1969s. lol.... I booked the wrong one and went to the wrong one. They are so nice that they helped me transferred my room to the correct location from the incorrect one.

Noisy

The property was kept clean. When it rains heavy, the sound can be heard quite loud at night. Overall, the stay was ok.

There are 2 locations for the same name of the Hotel name.

Good value for money.

Mostly good to very good for short term stay in a quiet area of Ipoh… however room aircon was weak, couldn’t cool down the room well. Hopefully this can be fixed.

Decor: 10 Wifi: 10 Water pressure: 10 Fantastic stay, got a free afternoon high tea and breakfast as well.

A decent Hotel in a quite neighbourhood. Is away from the main town area. But good for visiting suppliers in Ipoh.

Overall is ok. Staff is very nice, breakfast avarge. Just the shower and Aircon need upgrade

Good to stay, comfortable and i did enjoy myself. Only one advice for HSK, please wipe off the dust on the cable and desk surface if possible. Apart from that, overall are awesome. Thank you for all the staff.

Very clean room and staff are friendly. The free high tea and buffet breakfast provided were good. Overall a highly recommended hotel to stay for a few days.

I had a great stay here, but my family had mixed reviews. The lighting within the hotel room was very warm but extremely dim and eery, and hence not exactly very kids friendly. The suite i booked could house 6 and had 2 stories with a flight of stairs in the middle. It creaked so loud everytime someone climbs up or down the stairs which again could be freaky at night.

Overall excellent stay, service was very good, complimentary free breakfast taste better than the other branch love it! Like the bread served as it’s not the basic white bread loaf. Thank you and will be back again!

Well upkeep of the hotel facilities and room. Received high tea free vouchers welcoming us. Breakfast are nice.

Beautiful room and cafe. Free welcome drink, free breakfast and 1 free high tea. Staff are courteous and professional. It has a gym too. Easy and short drive to most parts of Ipoh.

The accommodation was good. The only improvement I may suggest is at the restaurant. We ordered main course, dessert & coffee. The coffee was served even before the main course. The dessert (with waffle with ice cream) was served when we were half way eating our main course. Hope restaurant will at least check with the guest when the guest prefers the coffee to be served. Most people do not want to drink cold coffee (else you would have ordered iced coffee). Hot coffee is usually serve at the end of the meal together with dessert. Dessert should be served after the guest has finished the main course and the table is cleared of the utensils used for main course. In this case it was worse as there was ice cream in the dessert.

Great hotel for business solo, comfortable bed, great amenities, clean room, fast WIFI internet, good shower and also breakfast also not bad, acceptable for me. I will stay this hotel again for my next business trip.

The room and everything around were pleasant, clean and safe. Maybe you should think of using Gardenia or Massimo sliced bread to serve your guests. Most Malaysians love white bread for breakfast. Thank you for such a great hospitality. Will book again if I am planning to travel to Ipoh again.

I have written a few reviews about this wonderful hotel before on this site. I have not yet mentioned the great breakfast. Food is fresh and has a good choice. I particularly enjoy having this breakfast on the Verandah. A perfect way to start my day and doing some early morning emails drinking fresh coffee. The service is very professional and friendly.

I always stay in this hotel because it is the best hotel in Ipoh. The food is really good, then I discovered the cakes, I now have my number one favourite cake in the world :) Only from this hotel. Come just for the cakes :)))

Amazing hotel. They really put in a lot of attention in the design. I love the ceiling fan because I’m scared of cool. Only setback is no astro TV channels.

The service is excellent and staffs are friendly, if only the breakfast can have more choices, then will be perfect. Worth to visit again in the future.

I am so glad we decided to stay at 1969 Business Suites! Even though its about 20 mins to the city by car, it was no problem as we just ordered a Grab - easy! Firstly we were collected by our lovely conceirge driver from the bus station. Communication and care was superb. Check in was easy. The room was lovely with EVERYTHING you could possibly ever want, including an amazingly comfortable bed! Welcome drink yummy and the breakfast was superb every morning. The staff were so happy and smiling and couldn't do enough for us. I had to do a webinar but a baby had just moved in to the room next door and they set us up in their business room across the road...nothing was a problem! Value for money outstanding! I cannot recommend this hotel enough - we didn't want to leave!

The hotel.. The food.. Cleanliness, hospitally was all very good just that king bed was abit small for 2adult n one child.. The bathroom design was awesome

Everything is good except my room is close to common corridor and there is a door closing sound as and when people is enter or exit to the floor which is disturbing during my stay. The rest is all good.

The sound proof between rooms are a bit poor, I can hear shower sound during midnight and I can’t fall asleep. Also, not much facilities are available for guests to use.

Best budget hotel ever Worth for it

Staff service is excellent. Breakfast is simple but worth to eat especially u are not local. Breakfast is under "cawan mu". Mistaken as Cawan Mas but it is delicious too.

Best hotel decoration I have ever lived. Nice staff, good services. Although it is far away from downtown, but if you have car to drive, it is no problem. Free parking, nearby it has much different kind of restaurants. Will live again in future.

This is a very new hotel with super friendly staff and really comfortable rooms. It’s in a quite part of with a fully servicing restaurant, good breakfast and they also offer a free pick up and drop off service. Would certainly stay here again.
