Das Hotel war fast komplett von Angehörigen einer Sekte gebucht, was zu einer unangenehmen Atmosphäre beim Frühstück geführt hat.

Ontbreken van informatie omtrent de Gruga feestweek. Kermis was voor de deur van het hotel....Was makkelijk geweest als we van tevoren waren ingelicht dat de toegangsweg naar het hotel was afgezet. Uiteindelijk met behulp van een vriendelijke politieagent via een alternatieve route het hotel kunnen bereiken.

Staff were very rude. They took 15 minutes to allocate the room - for cleaning and preparation of the room even after I arrrive 1500 hours. So essentially the room was not ready. Additionally I dialed them up for info on credit card deductions (there were two deductions - one with room rent + 50 euros & one room rent with all expenses - breakfast) and the person on phone was so rude and curt when explaining this stuff - very poor way to explain to customer. Last month I stayed in Atlantic Heidelberg and now with this one rude phone behavior they lost me / will never stay in Atlantic.

Reviewed Jun 30, 2026I struggled a little bit on identifying a temporary parking slot to confirm my advance booking at reception. I understand that due to the location of the hotel, it's difficult to allocate a temporary parking space nearby but a signboard in front of the reception guiding the cars can be parked temporarily in the under ground car parking with the ticket will be helpful. I see this message that the cars be parked temporarily for 2 euros per hour when I take a diversion to the parking area but it would be good if we have this message somewhere near the reception so that the people driving able to notice it. In my case, I couldn't able to notice it while driving near to the hotel so I parked in Grugahalle parking slot for 8 euros and then confirm my booking at the reception and then parked my car in the hotel parking slot which is a bit of inconvenience and added additional 30 mins. Rather than the cost, people with time pressure or late night arrivals will have issues.

Reviewed Jun 21, 2026Unser Zimmer war sauber und bequem. das Frühstück war einwandfrei und sehr lecker.
Der Check-out ist regulär bis 12:00 Uhr. Wir hatten vor der Anreise und nochmals an der Rezeption beim Einchecken gefragt, ob wir bis 14:00 Uhr auschecken dürften. Man versicherte uns: „Sie können eine späte Abreise bis 14:00 Uhr kostenfrei in Anspruch nehmen. Darüber hinaus werden pro angefangener Stunde 10, - € berechnet, maximal kann das Zimmer bis 17:00 Uhr genutzt werden." Aber am besagten Tag rief die Rezeption gegen 12:30 Uhr auf dem Zimmer an und wir wurden gebeten auszuchecken. Ich versuchte, die Situation zu erklären, aber das brachte leider nichts.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026The staff were friendly and obliging. Great location for restaurants, metro and other amenities. We ate in the hotel a couple of times and the food was great. The room was clean. We have stayed there three times now when visiting family and will continue to do so.
The breakfast is great, but overpriced. Our two children only eat a small amount, so it was more cost effective to eat out.

Einiges am Mobiliar weist schon sichtbare Gebrauchsspuren auf. Da könnte ein 4-Sterne-Haus noch einmal einen etwas genaueren Blick drauf werfen. Dass beim Frühstück "normale" Brötchen nur sehr schwer und auf wiederholte Nachfrage zu bekommen waren, hat uns schon irritiert. Warum man bei jedem Verlassen der Tiefgarage eine Ausfahrtkarte benötigt, ist mir schleierhaft. Das ließe sich doch sicher unkomplizierter regeln.

Beim Frühstück wurde erst spät der zweite Raum geöffnet, mir wurde als ich mir einen 2. Kaffee geholt habe das restliche Frühstück abgeräumt ( der Dame am Nachbartisch) ebenfalls), obwohl ich persönliche Sachen habe liegen lassen, damit man sehen konnte ich komme wieder. Das ist aber nur eine kleine Randnotiz, ansonsten liegt das Hotel für Messebesucher bestens.
