Modena by Fraser Buriram

The Modena is part-serviced luxury condo, and part hotel. The property is beautiful with a beautifully placed water pool, swimming pool, and gym in the background. The Bistro Restaurant is nearby the hotel rooms and is where breakfast is served. The breakfast was a good breakfast with many options, such as salad, fruit, coffee, and your choice of some hot options such as eggs, boiled rice porridge, or simple thai dishes like Krapao. The bed was comfortable, a bit on the soft side. The air con was strong and after setting it down to 22, I had to set it back up to 25 because it was too cold. There were plenty of outlets next to the bed and elsewhere in the room. I liked the desk lamp which was built into the wall.

The Check-in desk is not the most obvious place, and is located outside at the end. While I was trying to check in, I was getting swarmed by insects and the experience was uncomfortable. Why not enclose it? There is very limited parking for the hotel, and if the 7 or 8 parking spots by the check-in are full, you have to park down below, which was very inconvenient considering it was raining a lot during my stay. The room was very mediocre. It was small, and awkward. There was a sofa against the window with a small coffee table next to it, but there was no desk and chair to work at (and there really wasn't room for such.) For the price point in Buriram I would have expected a larger room. The shower was a standard showerhead which is detachable and can be hand held, but there was no overhead showerhead. The toilet and sink were standard. I had breakfast and was looking at their wine collection and they told me there was a wine tasting that evening. Great! I love wine and buy bottles often. However then they told me it was sold out which annoyed me immensely. Why tell me there's a wine tasting if there's no space for me? I asked if they could make an exception and add me but the manager told him no. Too bad, I would have bought some bottles. In general, you're paying a lot for the location which is right next to the Stadium. I'm sure during football matches, the hotel is busy but otherwise, I see no reason to pay a higher price point for this location.

It is extremely overpriced. With very few people staying there the property should have discounted prices during the slow season. Food & drink completely overpriced.

Das Hotel sieht im ersten Moment gut aus. Ist aber eher ein Industriebau. Der Pool ist schön und das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig.

Keine guten Zimmer und recht teuer. Bei Buchungsänderungen wird es teurer. Ist eben ein Konzern.

Loved the location linked to The Buriram Football Stadium, Buriram Castle and the race tracks for bikes and cars! Facilities and staff superb!

Wet seats in the dining room - my partner sat down and his trousers and pants were wet through !

The restaurant could offer better food quality

Très bel hôtel dans le centre de Buriram, à proximité du circuit de grand prix mais bien insonorisé. Hôtel très bien équipé, grande chambre avec une literie confortable. Très bon petit déjeuner. Grande piscine facile d'accès. Restaurant sur place. Personnel très agréable et avenant. Nous y avons passé trois nuits agréables et reposantes dans un road trip pas toujours simple dans cette région de la Thaïlande.

Le prix est élevé pour la Région. La qualité de certains plats pourrait être améliorée, mais globalement c'était très bien.

Nahe zum Stadtzentrum, Racing-Circuit, Chang-Arena und doch sehr ruhig gelegen. Bequeme Betten, saubere und schöne Zimmer mit wunderbarem Balkon. Frühstück war lecker, Kaffee köstlich. Personal sehr zuvorkommend, höflich und mit echter Gastgebermentalität. Grosser und schöner Swimming-Pool. Das 24/7 Fitness-Studio ist aussergewöhnlich grosszügig mit Kraft-Geräten Bestückt, hat auch genügend Kurzhanteln und Kardiogeräte für ein ausgewogenes Training.

Da gibt es nicht was zu bemängeln wäre.

The location is next the football stadium and the race track and near restaurants and other attractions. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the room is comfortable and spacious and the food is excellent.

La mia memoria sul Modena by Frazer è un po' sfocata, ma mi è rimasta una sensazione generale positiva: stanza comoda, tutto funzionante, nessun problema. Nel complesso, resta un posto valido e piacevole dove soggiornare. Se trovate una tariffa vantaggiosa, è una buona scelta.

la tariffa mi è parsa leggermente eccessiva per l'esperienza standard che ricordo. Non è uno scandalo, ma forse il rapporto qualità-prezzo poteva essere più allineato.

Good pool area and outdoor facilities

Old outdated rooms, needs a major facelift with new furnishings, needs smart tv with youtube internet ect in all the rooms, value for money is very bad, pay top dollar for a remote location with old rooms with tv that you can not use because have no internet

No slippers in room. Floor is easy to get wet because of the small partition in shower room.

The food is very poor. Not fresh and well below expectation. We ordered out every night after our first bad lunch. Some maintenance needed for sun lounges and around the pool area. Please add at least one english language movie channel for your international guests.

Staff and general hotel is great. Breakfast forget about it. No bacon and everyday over our 5 day stay baked beans and potato wedges were stone cold. I showed staff and everyday it was the same . Just had chicken sausage, ham slices, beans, potato wedges and eggs. Loads of curries and rice. And until the last but one day of our stay the cheese and ham sandwiches disappeared. On the last day we skipped breakfast as it was a waste of time.
