Minnies Rooms

Room was clean and well kept, Mayann is lovely, friendly and attentive. We had a great stay on the Isle of Skye.

Great location and the service was very good.

We loved Minnie;s Room. ‘Me’Ann(?), the owner, was a wonderful hostess. We loved the breakfast cart she brought in the morning, with the food beautifully displayed. And the view from our room was beautiful,

A very wecoming and attentive host. Greets you on arrival and present throughout stay if you need anything. King size bed, very comfortable. Our room had a separate bathroom opposite the bedroom for our personal use. Dressing gown provided for dignity. Having tried this for two nights I would opt for ensuite next time. Can be a bit noisy with guests arriving and leaving early however a minor inconvenience overall. Fabulous view out of the bedroom window on to the Loch.

really good, quiet location with plenty of parking. our room was spacious and comfortable with wonderful views. breakfast was served to our room each day and we could sit at our table to eat while looking across the loch. bed, shower, and all facilities were perfect

The host was just the nicest and most courteous. The view from the window was great and it was the best stay during our trip to Scotland.

Minnie's room was very small but cute and clean. Walls are very thin so you hear everything around you.

Our stay was great! The view is amazing. We enjoyed sitting and watching the sunset as well as the wildlife. Breakfast was great! Mayanne is a great host! There are several great restaurants in walking distance as well as a small grocery store. Great location. Comfortable space!

Cannot say enough about our host Mayanne. Friendly, thoughtful and a wonderful host. The bathroom was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room overall was perfect. Mayanne delivered a lovely breakfast outside our door at 8am sharp. The small details Mayanne has thought of were extremely appreciative. We would highly recommend Minnies Rooms.

The owner was super friendly and the room was beautiful and priced reasonably for being on the Isle of Skye. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed our stay.

Amazing view, very kind owner, good location.

Great location. Mayanne is a really helpful host. Had breakfast in our room, overlooking the loch. The location was quiet and plenty of parking

Lovely stay, very clean & quiet and comfortable bed, beautiful views of the bay & mountains with grazing ewes & lambs plus lots of birds.

A lovely cosy room with beautiful view. A very nice breakfast brought to our room on a trolley to eat at a table by the window in our room by the delightful warm and friendly Minnie.

This was a delightful place to stay. The breakfast on a hand cart was warm and refreshing. I wanted to stay longer.

Maryanne was a gracious host and extremely helpful.

Good location

Lovely location with view onto the water from our room. Hostess was welcoming and friendly.

Lovely stay (1 night). Warm and cosy. Room and bathroom was clean and we'll equipped. Continental breakfast was served on a tea trolley to be enjoyed at the breakfast table within your room. Gorgeous views. Friendly welcome. Nice and quiet. Good WiFi. Free parking. Would recommend.

We felt right at home. Amazing waterfront views and warm hospitality

We were snookered by the inaccurate good reviews.

From Check-In to Check-out, Mayanne takes great care of you. You feel more like a visiting family member than a traveling guest. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was nice and new. She provides absolutely everything you need. And the breakfast was just enough to give you a pep in your step. Will definitely stay again.

Mayanne was great, the view from the room was sublime! Breakfast was delivered to the room each morning, allowing us to admire the view while eating.

Great accomodation close to the castle with a lovely hostess. Great view of the loch from our room. Recommended for a trip to Skye

Room was en-suite but bathroom was across a corridor. Limited dining options so book well in advance

Great host. Comfotable stay.

Even more wonderful than the photos online. Our host was so kind and helpful. Great location walking distance to excellent restaurants and couldn’t beat the sunset views!

It was simple-nothing fancy. We loved the sweet breakfast. The view from either side was wonderful. Sheep and a farm on one side and the beautiful water on the other. Minnie was the most accommodating host! This is a for sure "yes" for a reasonably priced stay!!

We had a sea view room and private bath and loved our room. Beautiful view. Lovely breakfast served on a rolling cart to our room. Wonderful to eat breakfast and have coffee in the room with the best view in Dunvegan. If you want to have a drink or dinner we recommend the Atoll, Old School House, or the bistro in the gas station right next to Minnie’s. Easy walking to those 3. Eat on the early side though as they stopped serving food around 8:30 PM when we were there. While on Skye and staying at Minnie’s we hiked Quiraing, Old Mann of Storr, Coral Beach, Neist Point Lighthouse. Good location on Skye to experience a lot of scenery. Beautiful! Would highly recommend staying at Minnie’s- great host and price.

Very nice place to stay, great view from the room's window (Loch Dunvegan, Macleod's tables)! Mayanne was a nice host, always ready to help and give advice for activities and dining options. We immediately fell in love with her small dog and the two cats. Dunvegan is a good location to explore the northwestern part of Skye, but it's just a 30 min drive to Portree, too. Would definitely recommend!

Host was very friendly and helpful

The welcome was warm. Everywhere clean and well kept. Quality tea and cookies and a delicious Continental breakast. And an anazing view from our room with lots of birds to watch and the tide going in and out. Excellent value for money. And a good little restaurant next door.

Our stay was wonderful from start to finish. The lovely Maryanne and the mischievous Angus were perfect hosts. The room has an amazing view, the bed, bathroom and everything was 'just so.' we had a great night sleep and then to top it off, the best breakfast. Thanks Maryanne! I have already recommended you to a friend. See you again next trip!

Lovely host and breakfast was awesome. Highly recommend Minnies Rooms

Perfect little B&B, very nice hostess, very nice views.

Nice clean well equipped including access to a fridge and microwave good facilities, nice breakfast, Friendly host.

Our stay here was amazing! Mayanne was a truly wonderful host who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home for the weekend. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the views out the window were beautiful.

Great room and great host Continental breakfast in your room it’s a plus! Maryanne Went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect! Pleasant experience

We loved the friendly hospitality. Mayanne couldn't do enough for us. She enjoyed hearing about our activities and had good local knowledge. Our bed was very comfortable, the bathroom (though small) had everything that we needed. The view from our room was wonderful. So relaxing. We really enjoyed sitting looking out whilst eating breakfast (including warm muffins or pastries each morning) watching the wildlife, from sparrows in the garden hedge to leaping dolphins in the inlet. It was great to have use of a small fridge and there was also a microwave oven, but we didn't use it. We had a kettle and tea/ coffee/biscuits provided in the room. Tip - have an evening meal in the Old Schoolhouse during your stay. Best to book.

Great stay in minnies home :)

Staff were amazing and very accommodating. Walls seemed a bit thin for hearing.

Cozy room with breathtaking views of Loch Dunvegan that is just outside the window, a lovely Continental breakfast cart brought to your room and cheerful, helpful staff. Can’t wait to come back again.

Mayanne was such a lovely host! She really went out of her way to make us feel looked after and comfortable. Lovely view from our room to enjoy continual breakfast as well as the sunset after long days of hiking

our stay here was superb, everything was perfect. Magnificent view. She is a wonderful person.

The owner Maryanne is absolutely wonderful. Our room was very nice and the view so pretty

Great view, host.

The stay was great! Our room has the loveliest view of the water. We were able to watch the tide come in and out throughout our stay. Mayanne was helpful and kind. She recommended to book dinner ahead of time, which we did for The Old School (it was delicious). She also provided recommendations for our travel back to Edinburgh and we really enjoyed the tour she suggested.

Lovely host, very helpful and such a gorgeous, quiet location on Skye

Beautiful Facilities, Gracious Host, Enjoyed our Stay Very Much

Mayanne is a wonderful person and host, goes above and beyond , feels lije you are visiting a friend

beautiful views and very friendly hosts.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Minnie’s Rooms in Dunvegan. Convenient location to see the castle and gardens and only a 30 min drive to Neist Point. We had a plentiful continental breakfast included as well which was nice. The croissants were the best I’ve ever had. Minnie was very kind and helpful with any questions we may of had. Highly recommend if you are wanting to see the Isle of Skye. Thank-you Minnie!

Amazing view from the room. The host was really nice and friendly. Could not have asked for a better stay :) will definitely recommend it !

Fantastic all the way around. Enjoyed our stay immensely!

Wonderful view, delicious breakfast, cosy and comfortable room. Perfect for our short stay.

Walking up to that view was amazing. Seeing the ocean but smelling the freshness/salinity was wonderful. Also the smell of breakfast was very nice. The friendliness of the host and her lil dog was wonderful as well. I stayed here after going to Talisker/Fairy Pools - about 35-45 min drive. My only feedback is that the bed in my room was way too soft and the towels were a bit harsh. That being said, I would still recommend this spot because of the view, friendliness, comfort of the room, and proximity to everything on Skye.

Cosy and familiar

Superb

Beautiful location for a very personal B&B . Mayanne was so kind and helpful, she even put my wet clothes in her dryer. Absolutely amazing! Bed was cozy and comfy, 5 Stars for a local B&B Thanks again.

It was the loveliest hostel, we had. Absolutely stunning! The best service, adorable view to the sea and super delicious breakfast directly delivered to our room. Definitely one of the nicest place to stay on the Isle of Skye. Just book your dinner choice in advanced, we were not able to find something to eat except at the gas station next to Minnie’s Rooms.

Nice room and great view

A very lovely and small (3 rooms) site, very conveniently located on the Isle of Skye. Contintal breakfast came on a cute trolley, which we ate in our room at a wee table with a beautiful overlook of the loch & an island with sheep grazing. The proprietor was very helpful and Knowledgeable regarding things to do/places to go. Definitely recommend/return to this site

Frendly Mini made it an fantastic stay!

Gorgeous location and Minnie went to the trouble of getting me take-away for dinner because I was so tired. Restaurants in walking distance, but it was raining. Breakfast was instant porridge with fresh strawberries!

A little overpriced for the facilities.

The host was welcoming and the view from our room was beatiful. we had a private washroom with a shower (very clean) and the breakfast was brought in a trolley including lots of yummy stuff. Very nice stay.

The view is beautiful. The rooms were clean, quiet, and the host was so friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer!

My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves! Very quiet and easy walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. The bathroom was like new and very clean. The bed was super comfy. Great first bed & breakfast experience!

.

A fabulous 3 day vacation.Host was simply brilliant kind and welcoming.View to die for will be visiting next year. 5 stars

Beautiful room overlooking peaceful loch. Breakfast was outstanding. Excellent shower and renovated bathroom. Very friendly host. Highly recommended!!!

Very happy our 5days stayed in Minnies Room. Very accommodating and breakfast was brilliant. We truly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic stay, very friendly and pleasant, helpful owners. We are coming back!

Fabulous B&B. Owner was very attentive. Room was lovely with a wonderful view . Lovely place to sit and watch the sunset whilst sipping a glass of wine !

View from the room was spectacular! Minnie is a very good host she really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed.

The room was comfortable, warm and overall good. It would probably be helpful to have a sign outside the building to make it easier to find Minnies Rooms, also it was easy to hear the other guests and their conversations from our room, and potentially a piece of fruit in the breakfast would be great.
