Jeg elsker beliggenheden, værelset, faciliteterne og restauranten.

Personalet mangler en smule imødekommenhed i forhold til hvor “fint” et hotel der er tale om. Vi nåede at bære vores egne kufferter halvvejs igennem huset før receptionisten (som stod ved døren da vi kom) spurgte hvor vi skulle hen og om vi ville checke ind. Derudover er det ikke mange smil man får. Da vi checkede ud var der ingen kommentarer. Normalt siger man: “Håber at I har nydt jeres ophold” Eller “Vi håber at se jer igen” Det er ikke et billigt sted at bo, og servicen passer ikke sammen med resten af det fantastiske ophold. Der var derudover lidt sorte plamager på gulvet foran bruseren.

Das Zimmer im Nebengebäude war extrem hellhörig, es gab ein Fenster in Größe eines Schuhkartons, im Zimmer gab es keinerlei Gelegenheit Kleidungsstücke aufzuhängen, kein Haken, kein Bügel, statt der gewünschten 2 Betten, ein nicht sehr breites Doppelbett.

Já visitei várias vezes a Quinta, e é sempre uma estadia onde se destaca a tranquilidade e beleza das vinhas, a casa duriense, o pequeno almoço de produtos locais, o vinho da Quinta do Portal.

Há alguns aspetos que podem melhorar, nomeadamente: a limpeza dos azulejos da piscina, a ausência de bar (é necessário contactar a receção para tomar uma bebida na piscina, sem carta), a inexistência de desconto no restaurante e na loja para os hóspedes.

Helaas was er deze week een dorpsfeest met zeer luide muziek van 8 am tot 10 pm. Luid te horen in de kamer en op het balkon en bij het zwembad. Slechte reclame voor de gemeente. Heel erg voor het hotel en de gasten die voor de rust kwamen. De gemeente bleek onvermurwbaar. Dus check voordat je boekt!

What a beautiful place! This was one of the only place that accepted children, we feel fortunate to have been able to experience staying in such a place. A great restaurant experience, the pool and the beautiful surroundings.

The family rooms were further away from the main house, a very short walk but it would have been much easier for us to stay in the main building.

Prachtig uitzicht. Hele mooie omgeving. En stil. Het is buiten enorm genieten.

We had a problem with noise in our existing room and staff were quick to resolve it by moving us. Thanks to Daniel in particular for his help!

Be careful of booking rooms in Casa do Largar. It is not part of the main building and is about 100m walk. The main issue with these rooms is the lack of soundproofing. We had to request to be moved to the main building after being kept awake by our neighbours. They were not doing anything particularly noisy but you can hear everything between the rooms.

Beautiful scenery. Architecture is amazing.

Quiet location beautiful views

We were not informed how the wine tour worked. We thought we were with a group then told we had to sit somewhere else. Paid 20 e and couldn’t hear the guide! Too many people talking while she was.

El alojamiento es precioso. Se encuentra en un enclave espectacular, rodeado de viñedos. Las instalaciones estaban muy bien. La habitación muy amplia, limpia y bonita, con unas vistas preciosas. La zona de la piscina muy agradable. El desayuno muy variado.

Room and environs were beautiful! Staff (Daniel) very nice and helpful! I was a bit disappointed that some of the activities offered online were unavailable (bicycles). Restaurant and wine tasting experiences very disappointing tho not necessarily a reflection on the manor house itself.

The location is fantastic, serene and quiet, the room was clean . We enjoyed the feeling of a bed and breakfast with friendly personnel .

The access was little difficult and it is remote, I think that can be expected based on description . The room had the window facing the main road and that was more inconvenient and noisy . Most rooms on the property facing inside and that is completely different , for sure.

Location bellissima in mezzo al vigneto. Parti comuni arredate con gusto e molto belle. La cena gurmet nella tenuta con uno chef capace e originale nelle proposte.

La camera al piano terra, in prossimità della scala in legno adiacente alla cucina, era molto rumorosa. Volevamo concederci 1 giorno di relax nel silenzio e invece sin dal mattino e fino al pomeriggjo sono state utilizzate il tagliaerba e il soffiatore con il conseguente fastidio. Peccato!

La ubicación del hotel es en una zona de viñedos bastante chula, en el restaurante del hotel se come muy bien.

El desayuno no está al nivel del hotel y del precio que tiene.

J'ai trouvé dommage qu'il n'y ai pas plus d'information concernant le lieu de la réception, on a du chercher et il y a beaucoup d'escaliers pas facile pour les valises

Casale gentilizio arredato con gusto con un invidiabile posizione tra colline disegnate da vigneti. Piscina di buone dimensioni. Camere spaziose e letti molto confortevoli. La pulizia delle camere lascia a desiderare, troppa polvere vicino le finestre e mancanza di un frigorifero in camera che non si addice ad un albergo di livello. Colazione con prodotti di ottima qualità, ampia scelta sia a vista dal buffet che a richiesta.

Nous avons réservé au restaurant de l’hôtel ALORS quoi dire déjà aucune information sur la localisation du restaurant, on doit deviner que le restaurant est à l’entrée du chemin Très mal accueilli par le personnel du restaurant , pas de sourire, un bonjour compliqué a dire. Vous avez le choix entre deux menu cela est très cher par rapport à la qualité Mon conjoint a voulus choisir du vin mais il y a que 5 vins disponibles sur la carte mais cela on ne vous le dit pas La nourriture a aucun intérêt des amuses bouchés congelés Les entrées et plats n’ont pas de goût pour 47€ le menu cela fait cher Le petit déjeuner est sens commentaire L’hôtel est hors de prix pour se qu’il propose ?

No aspecto geral tudo.

Não tinha frigorífico no quarto. Quem viaja com crianças por vezes leva pequenos lanches para eles, desde frutas de beber, iogurtes e derivados. Não tendo o frigorífico infelizmente com o calor que esteve, não arriscamos guardar os alimentos.

Tudo impecável. O lugar é ainda mais bonito do que mostram as fotos. Procurávamos por um local tranquilo para uns dias de descanso e nossa escolha não poderia ter sido melhor.

Pequeno-almoço muito bom e variado. Tudo muito fresco. Vistas dos quartos deslumbrantes, para a piscina e para as vinhas. Sossego maravilhoso para descansar e relaxar. Localização privilegiada. Funcionários sempre prestáveis. Muito acolhedor. Muito fácil entrar à noite após jantar fora, a qualquer hora, com código de acesso. Piscina super agradável e com vistas lindas.

Falta de serviço de refeições simples na piscina. Tinha que se pedir na recepção e apenas serviam tostas mistas ou tábua de enchidos com algum queijo. Casa já teve obras mas vai ter mais algumas remodelações. A precisar, por exemplo a fechadura do nosso quarto não funcionava bem.

Schöne ruhige Lage. Leider kein schönes Dorf in der Nähe, welches man fußläufig gut erreichen könnte. Das Frühstück war gut, Eispeisen wurde frisch auf Wunsch zubereitet. Nettes Personal. Poolanlage war gut und ausreichend.

Verbleven in gezinskamers apart (200m)van het Manor House. Een klein ijskastje gezien de hoge temperaturen aldaar is wel nodig om je eigen drank koel te houden maar ontbrak. Vond de prijzen van de dranken ook nogal prijzig. 6 euro voor glas wijn in plastic glas.

Fantastiske omgivelser, magisk å bo blant vinrankene. Nydelig bassengområde og ett fredelig sted perferkt for avslapning og base for å besøke vingårder. God frokost.

Vi lot oss merke med at hotellet var i overgangsfase til nye eiere. Blant annet ved litt lite engasjerte ansatte.

Equipe do restaurante é incrível. Fomos super bem atendidos , mesmo fora do horário. Estão de parabéns pela alta qualidade de produtos e atendimento!!

O hotel fica na Quinta do Portal, uma casa de fazenda bem adaptada para hotel. O quarto e wc grande, varanda e bem decorada. O café da manhã maravilhoso. Um detalhe só, as estrada do restaurante para o hotel por 2 vezes ficou bloqueada por carros entregando mercadoria para o restaurante e tivemos que esperar a operação. O jantar menu degustação vale muito a pena

Kein Kühlschrank und Mülleimer auf dem Zimmer, bis Warmwasser aus dem Hahn kam dauerte es sehr lange, das Frühstück hatte nicht den Erwartungen für diesen Preis entsprochen.

Great staff, beautiful area. Property is very nice. Decent breakfast in the morning. Had a family room for family of 4 where many hotels in the area max at 3 people per room.

Location is a bit up from the river and not a lot around in under 20min drive.

Het hotel ligt erg mooi, in een rustige omgeving en niet al te ver van Pinhão en de Douro. Onze kamer was ruim en schoon, het zwembad fijn groot, schoon en met meer dan voldoende ligbedden. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Op hetzelfde terrein ligt ook een restaurant waar we enorme lekker hebben gegeten.

Le personnel de l'hôtel, les 2 qui nous ont accueilli on été fantastiques et bien veillant.

Cet endroit a perdu de son âme, la piscine n'était pas super propre, les produits dans les chambre ne sont pas a la hauteur ni vont avec l'ambiance Quinta Portugaise comme avant. Nous avions réservé au restaurant les mets étaient incroyables, mais le vin (Grande reserva 2019) est resté dans les verres et la bouteille et ça n'a choqué personne, pire nous l'avons signalé et pas de geste commercial ni sur le moment ni le lendemain lors de la visite qui nous a coûte 14 euros par personne et trop cher. Ça fait 10 ans que je viens, cette fois j'ai emmené 2 couples d'amis, nous étions 6. Nous avons été déçu. Cette Quinta n'a plus rien a voir avec ce que nous venons chercher. C'est vraiment dommage.

The hotel is in a stunning setting in the middle of the vineyards. The pool was cold (of course) but a lovely place to hang out and very much needed. The main hotel building is beautiful inside and out. Breakfast was nice. The dinner at the restaurant was good and the waiting staff were lovely too - although pretty chaotic despite there being a lot of them.

We had a family room which was nice enough but a bit of a walk to the main house and had a little bit less character. The room was very cool which was lovely in the scorching weather we had but not sure how it would be in winter. Be prepared for a long walk to the restaurant (600m to the main house, 700m to the family rooms).

Apesar da simpatia dos funcionários, o hotel peca pelos serviços, pelo preço que cobra. A área circundante, embora bonita, carece de manutenção mais cuidadosa. Telefone do quarto não funcionou, nem sempre havia funcionário na recepção. Ficamos dois dias e sequer na recepção conseguimos acesso ao menu do restaurante.

So incredibly peaceful and beautiful. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. If it’s available, I highly recommend the paired wine dinner. It was so delicious and perfectly presented!

We were notified by the hotel a few days before we arrived that it was under renovation and that our booking had been transferred to the Vintage House Hotel in Pinhao. We were given a Junior Suite which was lovely with views of the Douro River. Quinta do Portal was still open and we were able to drive there for our wine / port tour, which was excellent.

Unfortunately missed the opportunity to stay at Casa das Pipas.

A beautiful setting with helpful staff. We really enjoyed the tour of the vineyard. The restaurant on site was exceptional and we found the breakfast provision of a high standard also.

Nothing to dislike at all. Would have preferred a larger room but none available at the time of booking.

Tolle, ruhige Lage zwischen den Weinbergen des Weinguts! Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haupthaus mit gemütlichem Wohnzimmer, Balkon und Terrasse für ein abendliches Gläschen Wein. Sehr gepflegte Pool-Anlage mit ausreichend Liegen und Sonnen- und Schattenplätzen. Zimmer hätte etwas geräumiger sein können, Bad aber ausreichend groß, Betten bequem und alles sehr sauber. Frühstücksbuffet im schönen Frühstücksraum reichhaltig und lecker. Sehr freundliches Service-Personal. Ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden, sogar beschattet. An einem Tag haben wir das Abendessen im auch öffentlich zugänglichen Restaurant des Weingutes genossen: sehr empfehlenswert! Aus einem Weinkühlschrank kann man sich gegen Selbstaufschreibung und Abrechnung am Ende glas- und flaschenweise bedienen. Ein guter Service, den wir gern genutzt haben. An der angebotenen Tour durch den Weinbetrieb mit anschließender Weinverkostung haben wir nicht teilgenommen, haben aber von anderen Gästen gehört, dass sie sehr interessant sein soll. Ein toller Ort für einen entspannten, mehrtägigen Aufenthalt mit Abstechern in die Umgebung.

Absolutely gorgeous setting overlooking vineyards, peaceful and quiet. Reataurant on the property serves gourmet cuisine. Free tour and tasting of the wine. Pool and beautiful gardens. close to Pinhao and the Duoro River and the hotel will arrange a 1-2 hour river boat cruise.

Nice location, good breakfast

The bedroom was very dark with heavy furniture and poor lighting. Also there was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.
