Loved the Cyclades design with the modern amenities. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel with bright spacious rooms that are beyond clean. The Owner, Stella, and her team are warm, helpful and always available for their guests. The housekeeping staff are amazing. The rooms are spotless. They offer a free continental breakfast every morning with in house fresh baked goods, yogurt, fruit, cereal, fried and boiled eggs. The location is a three minute walk to the Main Street/waterfront in Pollonia. Large parking lot with free parking too. We stayed 11 nights and loved the experience at Kapetan Tasos.

Amazing room with lovely views. Staff were super friendly. Room was very clean and they were very generous with supplies. Literally 2 minutes away by walking from a very quiet and private beach.

Nos encantó el alojamiento, todo el hotel está muy bien decorado y con mucho encanto. Muy bien situado en Pollonia, que sin duda, es de los mejores sitios para quedarse en Milos. La habitación era muy amplia y muy confortable, estaba muy limpio y las camas eran muy cómodas. El personal del hotel es encantador y, sobre todo, Federica es un encanto siempre atenta y sonriente. Muy recomendable, sin duda si volvemos a Milos repetiremos.

Le petit déjeuner : jamais le moindre fruit,une fois que des toasts , une fois du yaourt grec , Tout est sur une table rectangulaire, il faut se servir prendre un plateau et aller manger dans sa chambre. Pour le même prix, nous avions deux chambres dont une en rez-de-chaussée dont la minuscule terrasse, n’ayant aucune vue n’avait que des canisses Pour aller à la plage, dit à 150 m, il faut enjamber un petit muret et traverser un champ abandonné pour arriver sur une petite crique L’hôtel est très mal indiqué et arrivant de nuit, il faut absolument une géolocalisation sur son téléphone. Aucun panneau lumineux. Un Parking de terre .

Beautiful hotel, perfectly clean, nice view over the sea and a comfortable balcony to enjoy the warm evening. Very quiet room, and everybody was just lovely. 5 min walk to a beautiful sandy beach with a café.

The welcome and the welcome pack. The facilities - everything was top notch. Everything worked. The terrace with sea views. Frederica was so welcoming and helpful. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

All of the staff are genuinely lovely people and are super helpful. The accommodation itself is brilliant. Private and quiet and exactly what a tourist is looking for for their Greek island escape. Easy 3 minute walk from restaurants and shops.

Amazing place to stay. 2 minutes walk from a beach, 5 minutes into town. The room was excellent, the balconies were a great place to relax. We really enjoyed our time!

A fantastic place to stay if you’re visiting Pollonia. Great location, excellent rooms and great service.plus a breakfast snack each day included. You couldn’t ask for more!! A special mention to Federica, at reception, who was wonderful! She recommended some fabulous day trips and companies to use and recommended some beautiful restaurants.

La habitacion que nos toco no tenia mucha luz al dar al jardin, al lado de la recepcion. Aun asi, nos avisaron.

Superbe séjour, belle maison confortable et très calme qui a une âme, celle de son adorable propriétaire qui se plie en quatre pour que ses hôtes soient contents, et de sa super équipe. Accueil au top :-) Immense merci à Stella et Federica. On a adoré!

Beautiful room with a sea view. The balcony was amazing for breakfasts and pre-dinner drinks. The amenities at this property are great, they provide towels and beach umbrellas. We were even given lots of welcome drinks and food which was so thoughtful. The staff were so lovely and made our stay so memorable.

Struttura curata nei dettagli. Staff super gentile: Federica in particolare ci ha fornito tutto il supporto necessario per organizzare al meglio il nostro soggiorno. La camera era spaziosa, accogliente e dotata di ben più del necessario. Sia il bagno che la cucina erano forniti di tutto l'occorrente, con prodotti di qualità, scelti con particolare attenzione alla sostenibilità e al rispetto dell'ambiente. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un graditissimo benvenuto con prodotti locali da degustare durante il soggiorno. Sebbene la colazione non fosse inclusa, ogni mattina l'host offriva un piccolo buffet, molto apprezzato. In ottima posizione, tranquilla e silenziosa ma a pochi passi dal centro di Pollonia, dove si trovano tanti ristoranti caratteristici sulla spiaggia. Ampio parcheggio a disposizione.

We stayed in a triple suites with my two teenage daughters. As a former hotel manager, I can say that this accommodation exceeded all expectations. Professional staff, pleasant, guest-friendly rooms, common areas, and services. The beach is just a short walk away. They can also provide a beach umbrella upon request. Here are some additional details that made our stay wonderful: Upon arrival, we found a fridge stocked with local delicacies, food, and drinks as a welcome gift, as well as free electric bikes. Fresh supplies were restocked daily. The hotel staff were always helpful and lovely. I’d especially like to highlight Frederica’s wonderful personality! Everything was perfect! Thank you very much! We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property. The room was perfect—clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location is also a major highlight, being just a stone's throw away from a beautiful beach. However, what truly set our experience apart was the exceptional service from the receptionist, Federica. She went above and beyond to help us decide where to go and what to prioritize on the island. Her local insights and personalized recommendations were invaluable; honestly, our holiday would not have been the same without her. She turned a good stay into an unforgettable one.

The gym, the accommodation itself and the all natural stuff that that was provided was amazing!

Piękny, kameralny obiekt kilka kroków od centrum Polonii. Obsługa i dogodnienia na najwyższym poziomie (szlafroki, kapcie a nawet poduszeczki z lawendą dla lepszego snu🥹). W obiekcie przywitała nas lodówka z winem, wodą i nawet jogurtem greckim. Do dyspozycji gości jest siłownia, basen i rowery. To miejsce to prawdziwa perełka prowadzona z sercem. To miejsce sprawiło, że Milos było dla nas jeszcze bardziej wyjątkowe. Z chęcią jeszcze kiedyś tu wrócimy!!!

Kapetan felt like home. I can’t say enough about how amazing this boutique hotel is. The rooms are immaculate, the beds are cozy, many amenities are included beyond the usual shampoo and conditioner, like toothbrush and toothpaste, lush robe and slippers, even a loofah. The grounds are quiet and the AC works perfectly. The refrigerator was stocked with lovely snacks and drinks near the small kitchenette and coffee maker. There was a secluded patio with clean furniture which was well maintained. The small pool is beautiful. Breakfast was included with our stay and they served hard boiled and fried eggs, a large selection of breads and pastries, Greek yogurt, honey, nuts, cereal, coffee, juice, and milk. Federica messaged me before our stay to make sure we had transfer from the ferry and back to the airport. I told her it was our anniversary and she brought a delicious dessert and a bottle of wine for us to share. She was kind and helpful, spoke beautiful English and seemed genuinely happy we were staying. Every employee went out of their way to help with anything we needed and offered suggestions freely with warm smiles. The hotel is a very short walk to town. I HIGHLY recommend Kapetan Tasos in Pollonia, Milos, Greece. We were sad to leave.

I needed to get a taxi (35€ from port and day trip). There are buses, but not very frequent.

Federica and Marialena were superb and went above and beyond. The hotel was close to Pollonia’s main strip but far enough away to feel quiet and secluded.

The suite was very large and extremely accommodating with a fantastic sea view, extremely comfortable beds, a nice and very large veranda at the back with a pergola, large table where we could have a private lunch or dinner. Many balconies all around, very well illuminated and full of accessories. Mrs Stella and and all the staff were lovely and full of suggestions, we felt at home and didn’t want to leave… will come back for sure !

What a gorgeous place, we loved it. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable, staff were so friendly, our room was sparkling clean and oh so white and fresh. The bed was comfy and we even received some complimentary items both in the fridge and on the bench. Breakfast was great. You just helped yourself from the offerings on the table and took them back to your room. They even had afternoon tea available most days. It was an easy 5 minute walk down the road to the main beach and restaurants. We loved eating there, right on the water, with the most delicious food and friendly waiters. We had 5 days there. Kapetan organised a transfer from the Ferry on the day we arrived and also the day we left. We hired a car for 2 days from Milos Car Rentals based in the little dress shop in Pollonia. 55 euro per day. We felt 2 days was enough to explore Sarakiniko, Klimos, Plaka, Tripiti, Mandrakia, Paliochori Beach and Adamas. Personally, we liked being in Pollonia the best. Adamas is very busy, dusty and touristy. Plaka is quite hilly although cute. Pollonia felt authentic and calm which was exactly what we were looking for.

We had chosen a suite room, but WOW we chose a gorgeous room. It far exceeded our expectations. It was decorated in the Cycladic all-white style with stylish turquoise cushions, a small kitchen, and a very comfortable bed. We had two balconies. Close to the hotel is a walk across a field (I think the hotel should clear the rubble to avoid someone twisting their ankle...) down to the beach where there is a reasonably priced manned-bar with friendly staff (Hitana Milos). The sea was warm with incredible views across the bay to the island of Kimolos and the small town of Pollonia - and all two minutes away. Honestly, we were delighted with our choice - we were located outside Pollonia - so no night noise - but only 4 minutes walk away up a gentle hill. There was lots of parking (you need a car, I think, to do Milos justice). There's a supermarket nearby, little shops, and a (pricey) bakery. You can walk down to Pollonia for dinner. By far, Pollonia is the best town to stay on Milos. Plaka is nice, but it's very hilly, and you can't watch the waves lap onto a beach or ferries sail by. I thought the staff could push themselves to help visitors more, but they didn't, and we simply accepted that. I haven't dinged our score for this because Greece can be like this. As a place to stay, we liked it.

I thought breakfast was a shambles, which was a shame. The staff lay out a first-come-first-served array of pastries and yoghurt which alas just sits in the heat. We don't want to have food poisoning while away, so steered well clear. We returned one day after a day's sightseeing and discovered the pastries still sitting there later afternoon - yuck. Others ate it, but we have learned the hard way that you should be careful with food and heat. The supermarket and bakery had good breakfast food, which we preferred.

It was perfect.

We could not have been more delighted with the accommodation, location and staff. We couldn’t believe our eyes when we were shown to our room as it was even nicer than the photos showed, and the view was stunning! We didn’t realise there was a little pool and gym, free bikes and breakfast included. And there were treats in the fridge too. The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom amenities were lovely. The property was well located with only a short walk into the town. Our host Federica could not have been more charming or helpful. This place far exceeded all expectations and was our favourite accommodation in our entire trip. If we are ever lucky enough to come back to Pollonia we will stay here again in a heartbeat!

We liked everything. Our host Frederica could not do enough and gave us the most wonderful welcome when we arrived. The hotel is immaculate and maintained to a very high standard. The gardens are lovely. Our room had everything we needed and being on the first floor our balcony had a beautiful view over the bay. It is also a very short walk to the restaurant strip and there is a beach/bar at the back of the hotel. I can’t recommend Kapetan Tasos Suites highly enough. Nothing, absolutely nothing.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft und extrem freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal. Jeder Wunsch wird erfüllt. Leckere kostenlose Snacks. Kleiner Strand und Tavernen fussläufig. Fitnessstudio ist klein aber fein und wurde von uns täglich genutzt.

Der Pool ist sehr schattig und eher nur bei wirklich heißen Temperaturen genießbar.

We loved everything about this place. The room was great, staff were friendly and the proximity to the township and beach were great. We particularly enjoyed the small beach that can be reached via a pathway at the back of the property. We would highly recommend it!

The only challenge (as with all properties in Pollonia), is that the taxi to and from the airport is €40 each way which is a bit pricey. Not at all the fault of Kapetan Tasos though.

Distance from the beach

La chambre était magnifique et très bien équipée. Le personnel était très souriant et gentil. Ils ont installé d'eux même une protection de lit pour que notre fils de 4 ans ne tombe pas en dormant. C'était très propre et la cuisine était équipée de tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin (micro-onde, cafetière, bouilloire, vaisselle, frigo, café et thé etc) Le petit déjeuner était également délicieux et très bien servi (15€ par petit déjeuner en supplément du prix de la nuit, avec 2 petits déjeuner pour 4 nos avions largement assez) La salle de sport est petite mais bien équipée. Le placement de l'hôtel est extraordinaire, avec vue sur la mer, à 400m de la plage. Le village de Pollonia est très agréable, il y a des restaurants, une belle plage et un parc pour enfants, c'est idéal pour les familles.

L'hôtel est équipé d'un piscine semi-couverte mais à notre arrivée et pendant 4 jour elle était fermée. Elle a finalement été rempli mais attention elle n'est pas chauffée (ce n'est précisé nulle part ) et comme nous sommes venus en Avril, nous n'avons pas pu en profiter du tout, l'eau était à 19°C... Nous étions un peu déçu par rapport à ça car nous nous attendions à pouvoir nous baigner. Il manquait également des informations concernant le petit déjeuner: il était payant lorsqu'on le commande en chambre et gratuit lorsqu'il est présenté dans les commun (on peut alors se servir avec un plateau mais il n'était pas du tout équivalent chaque jour parfois il y a fait simplement quelques viennoiseries et parfois un grand choix avec fruits, yaourt etc) mais nous n'avons pas compris si c'était le mode de fonctionnement officiel de l'hôtel ou pas.

The accommodations were great! Clean, very cozy and had all the amenities that you needed. The staff were all so wonderful! Friendly and very helpful with all our needs. The breakfast was so delicious!! Would definitely recommend this charming hotel and would stay there again if I’m ever back in Milos.

We loved the location because it is not amid the hustle and bustle of other towns, and it is just a nice walk to the restaurants in Pollonia. Staff were excellent—friendly and informative.

Water in shower was not hot—which may not matter most times of the year, but we had cool, rainy weather.

The property was adorable, clean, friendly, ideally located and provided everything we needed for our stay. Pollonia is such a beautiful and peaceful little village and we are so glad that we chose this location for our trip to Milos. We wanted a quiet location after fighting the crowds in Italy and this was exactly what we got. It was an easy drive from the port and walkable to all restaurants and a grocery store in the area. The staff was super friendly and we are appreciative of their hospitality. Would highly recommend!

The breakfast was lovely and above expectations. I seemed to assume we were either not getting breakfast, or it would be one of those breakfasts in a bag kind of deals, but not full lovely fresh breakfast to help yourself to. Really large and comfortable rooms, really pleasant stay all round! The pool looked lovely, especially on a hot day to cool off. And plentiful parking.

Excellent location just a few minutes walk from main port of Pollonia. Beautiful spacious rooms that have everything you need and a fantastic balcony. Really enjoyed using the ebikes and the complimentary breakfast goods.

Une résidence très bien située près de la plage et des restaurants 5 minutes a pied. Superbe buffet de petit déjeuner avec des plats cuisinés a déguster sur notre terrasse. Accueil amical, jolie piscine intérieure, vélos électriques...il ne manquait rien ! Nous serons heureux de revenir l'an prochain.

The location is great, is out of the commercial area but in a short walking distance, just perfect. Our top floor room was amazing, for the light and views. Everything was super clean, apartments are cleaned every day .Stella the Owner was a super host, anything we asked was done with warm hospitality. My 25 son joined us for 2 nights on the Island, nothing was charged as an extra cost and Stella was happy that we were spending time in family, I was touched by that. Parking is huge and very convenient. We cooked some times and everyting was okay. My wife is a Architect and loved the Hotel.
