Prachtig hotel! Het is of je midden in de natuur zit! Echt heel mooi! De kamers zijn prachtig in koloniale stijl. Met een buiten douche. Heel sfeervol. Je kunt goed snorkelen bij het hotel aan het strand. Er zijn stukjes nieuw koraal gemaakt. Echt heel mooi. Er is prima eten bij het hotel, maar er zijn ook goede restaurantjes in de buurt.

Als je een auto vanuit het hotel regelt betaal je echt twee keer zoveel als een taxi van buiten het hotel. Via internet makkelijk te vinden.

Lage am Strand, und vor allem das sehr freundliche Personal!

Sehr dunkle Räume, scheppernde, alte Klimaanlage, Sauberkeit auch teilweise etwas schwierig. Keine Möglichkeit sich vor seinem Bungalow draussen ausrechende auf zu halten, man mussten wenn dann vor in den Restaurantbereich. Dieses Konzept Richtung "Clubaufenthalt" hat nicht so unseren Geschmack getroffen, aber das sind ja persönliche Vorlieben.

Eine Traumhafte Anlage, sehr gepflegt und wirklich wunderschön. Das Personal ist einfach klasse, immer freundlich und ahilfsbereit. Die Lage fanden wir mega gut. Das Restaurant am Strand war unser Lieblingsort.

Leider sind die Bungalows ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Aber auch dies passt irgendwie zum Charme des Hotels. Das einzige was bei uns genervt hat war der wenige Wasserdruck an der Dusche.... es ging ewigkeiten um zu duschen.

The boat trips to snorkel and go fishing. Edi was an excellent host arranging many details before and during the trip.

Sometimes the staff were standing around and not attending to diners - to bring drinks and take the dirty plates away. The coral in front of the resort was a bit sad - very limited visibility and not colourful. I guess it is a regen project and not colourful coral. A bit disappointing though.

Ein Haarfön und Wasserkocher fehlten, wurde auf Nachfrage zur Verfügung gestellt.

Een unieke plek in Pemuteran, ver weg van de drukte die andere plaatsen in Bali kenmerkt. Uitstekend restaurant en medewerkers ( inclusief) trainees die als familie aanvoelen. Geweldige zonsopgang.

Ontbijt is in vergelijking met vorige jaren iets eenvoudiger.

Die Villa hat eine perfekte Größe für 6 Personen, der traditionelle Stil hat uns als Abwechslung gut gefallen. Edi hat sich sehr gut um unsere Anliegen gekümmert, Koffer per Post nach Java verschickt, Transport nach Ubud organisiert und hätte uns auch vergessene Schuhe hinterhergeschickt.

Die Sauberkeit gibt es noch Verbesserungspotential, so war im OG das Bad nicht gefegt. Das Personal ist super nett und zuvorkommend, aber auch die Tische am Strand könnten nach dem Verlassen besser gereinigt und neu eingedeckt werden.

Prachtig mooi hotel! Echt een tropisch paradijs! We hadden familie bungalow, dit is een hele huis met de tuin, erg ruim en mooi met veel aandacht voor detail en balinese sfeer.

Très bien situé , en face du biorock seul endroit où vous verrez des poissons sur cette plage. En ville l’établissement est bien placé, entre des supers restos ( the sage, et en face un resto de burger succulent) et quelques boutiques ( sommaires mais suffisantes pour chiner). Chambre familiale choisie, un lit en 160/200 et un lit en 95/200 literie ferme et oreillers de qualité correcte. Petit dej buffet bon, avec plusieurs choix, de bonne qualité hormis les jus qui sont dilués. La piscine est plus petite qu’en photo mais agréable , seul bémol 3 transats pour tout l’hôtel ! La plage et son resto sont agréables, plusieurs transats malheureusement pas réservés aux personnes de l’hôtel. Il faut mettre sa serviette direct le matin sinon vous ne vous assiérez ni le matin ni l’après midi. Chambre faite tous les jours, eau potable à disposition, sèche cheveux. Personnel super comme toujours , attentionné et aux petits soins . Le jardin de l’hôtel est splendide. Repas correct mais cocktails à éviter , d’autres restos bars sont de meilleures qualités à proximité

3 transats pour tout l’hôtel à la piscine Hôtel grand, beaucoup de logement mais reste à taille humaine sur la gestion sauf pour les transats un fâcheux point de mon séjour. On ne peut pas s’asseoir à la piscine ni à la plage car tout le monde peut venir et s’installer même sans consommer. Les autres personnes posent la serviette, partent déjeuner le midi et reviennent après. Sur 3 jours sur place j’ai pu m’asseoir une seule journée sur un transat. Beaucoup de moustiques dans les chambres même si l’hôtel a procédé à une fumigation - les moustiquaires du lit sont efficaces mais sentent mauvais il faudrait les laver plus souvent. Bruyant le matin ( route à proximité ) + les coqs mais ça c’est dans tous les hôtels de Bali ! Je pense que les bungalow proches de la piscine sont plus calmes même si certainement propice au bruit le matin au petit dej

Ein Traum für Taucher – wir kommen immer wieder gerne! Wir waren bereits vor 14 Jahren in diesem wunderschönen Hotel in Pemuteran und waren nun erneut absolut begeistert. Damals gab es hier noch spürbar weniger Tourismus, aber auch heute ist es insgesamt in Pemuteran herrlich ruhig geblieben und absolut nicht mit den trubeligen Städten im Süden Balis vergleichbar. Wir lieben diese Region einfach, besonders wegen der fantastischen Möglichkeiten zum Tauchen. Ein absolutes Highlight für uns: Unser elfjähriger Sohn hat hier in der Tauchschule seinen ersten Schnuppertauchgang absolviert und war völlig begeistert! Auch das Bioriff direkt vor der Hotelanlage hat sich in den vergangenen 14 Jahren großartig weiterentwickelt und bietet nun perfekte Bedingungen zum wunderbaren Schnorcheln. Leider waren wir zur Vollmond-Zeit dort und hatten beim schnorcheln nicht so eine tolle Sicht. Die Zimmer sind nach wie vor geschmackvoll und im traditionellen balinesischen Stil eingerichtet – hier ist der Charme über die Jahre wunderbar erhalten geblieben. Das Personal ist nach wie vor unglaublich freundlich und aufmerksam, und wir haben uns auf Anhieb wieder pudelwohl gefühlt.

Zwei kleine Verbesserungsvorschläge: Da das Hotel während der Sommerferien komplett ausgebucht war, hätten wir uns ein paar mehr Sonnenliegen gewünscht. Im Hotel war es am Strand für Pemuteran schon recht voll, da hatten wir einfach noch eine andere Vorstellung weil es vor 14 Jahren viel ruhiger war. Auch ein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer wäre schön gewesen.

L’hôtel est très sympa et original, cependant en comparaison avec les autres hôtels que nous avons pu faire jusqu’à présent, on trouve que tout est orienté « tourisme » Et il n’y a pas vraiment d’authenticité. Le restaurant est excellent, mais les prix sont 2 à 3 fois plus cher que dans n’importe quel autre établissement. Les massages sont divins ! La chambre est originale, et la salle de bain également. Aussi, le personnel est agréable, mais on sent à nouveau que c’est une vraie usine à tourisme. Nous nous attendions à un endroit un peu plus calme, mais il y une 40n de chambre et donc beaucoup de famille. Aussi, il manque de transat !

Le fait que ça soit un gros hôtel, mais il reste très sympa ! Tout dépend ce que l’on recherche.

The old wooden buildings has the downside of lots of gaps in the wood meaning the rooms were a delight of the mosquitos!

L'endroit est superbe : chambres, piscine, environnement, au bord de la plage ! Très bien placé à proximité de petits commerces, banques, très bon tatoueur en face ! Restaurant magnifique au bord de l'eau, très chill avec des transats à disposition ! Une attention particulière à mon arrivée pour mon anniversaire ! C'est une très belle expérience, j'y serais bien restée plus longtemps !

Le restaurant est un peu cher et les plats ne sont pas forcément à la hauteur. Mais l'emplacement est incroyable !

Insgesamt schöne grosse Zimmer, angenehm leise Klimaanlage, sehr schöne Hotelanlage und nettes Personal. Ausreichend Platz und Liegen am Strand.

Frühstück war nicht im Buffetform, das erachte ich für ein Hotel dieser Art und Preisklasse als unterdurchschnittlich. Zimmereinrichtung, insbesondere Türen und Schränke, reichlich in die Jahre gekommen, sollten zumindest mal wieder "gängig gemacht" werden.

Un vrai paradis ,nous avons apprécié le restaurant sur la plage ,la qualité du restaurant ,la gentillesse de tout le personnel. Une chambre royale avec le plaisir de prendre sa douche à l'extérieur. Les jardins sont magnifiques . On a tout aimé. On recommande vivement ce lieu.

Il y avait très peu d'eau au robinet et à la douche. Le gond de la baignoire ne ressortait pas et pas de mitigeur pour le bain. Mais le style est magnifique!

We really appreciated our stay here at Pondok Sari. The hotel is beautiful with a wonderful garden. The rooms are beautiful, very clean and quiet. The people working here are very nice and very professional. Thanks also to the restaurant team, very professional as well and always smiling. The breakfast was delicious and also the food at the restaurant. I will come back for sure🙏🙏🙏

Nous tenons à remercier l' hôtel car nous avons eu des problèmes de réservation et ils ont été très compréhensifs et attentionnés avec nous. L hôtel est magnifique, le personnel aux petits soins. L emplacement est idéal pour le snorkeling et les excursions sur l ile de menjangan.

Lovely lovely place and a great opportunity for us to spoil ourselves a bit. Amazing outdoor bathroom with coconut shell shower. Loved it. Brilliant beach side restaurant with A La Carte ordering for breakfast rather than a buffet. Great to have the diving/snorkelling on site and a real bargain to be able to hire snorkelling gear for roughly £5 for the whole day and then snorkel straight off the beach. Really convenient for some great snorkelling / dive sites. Highly recommend.

We ordered a take away breakfast one day and it didn't arrive by the time we had to leave. Staff were very apologetic and lovely about it and, it was there waiting for us when we arrived back but still....

Une des meilleurs hôtels que nous avons fait en 2 mois à Bali Tout, le bungalow familial assez grand pour 2 adultes, un enfant de 4 ans et un bébé. Il a un petit jardin très agréable pour se reposer. La chambre et spacieuse et la sdb très grande (attention aux moustiques mais les lits ont des moustiquaires) La déco, tout le resort est si joliment décoré Le jardin incroyable, et si bien entretenu. L’emplacement sur la plage et pile en face du spot de snorkeling. Le personnel, que ce soit, les personnes à la réception, les jardiniers ou les équipes du ménages tous sont juste adorables. Une immense merci nous étions comme chez nous.

Petit point noir le restaurant n’est pas top et un peu cher pour la qualité mais il y a pleins d’autres options autour. Par contre super choix de petits-dejs

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. The Balinese-style architecture and lush surroundings create such a unique atmosphere that you immediately feel like you've escaped to a special place. I also had the chance to try the spa, which was a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy throughout the stay. What stood out the most was how welcoming everything felt. The staff were warm, attentive, and made sure every detail was taken care of, making the whole experience relaxing and memorable. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable Balinese experience.

L'entretien général des bâtiments pourrait être amélioré (mais c'est difficile d'entretenir du bois dans un climat humide), l'insonorisation entre les chambre est mauvaise.

Hotel, Restaurant, Personal, alles bestens. Leider war die Sicht im Wasser die ganze Woche schlecht. Tauchen und Schnorcheln vom Ufer aus teilweise Blindflug. Am Riff mit dem Boot gute bis mäßige Sicht. Essen sehr gut und grosse Auswahl.

Die schönen Bauten des Biorock waren nur an einem Tag zu sehen, sonst eine Woche schlechte Sicht und ein paar Quallen...

Het mooiste verblijf dat we tijdens onze rondreis door Indonesië zijn tegengekomen. De villa's zijn prachtig authentiek ingericht met een fantastische buitendouche. Het resort ligt direct aan het strand dus in de ochtend kan je met uitzicht op zee ontbijten. Pemuteran is een oase van rust. Verwacht geen barretjes of uitgaansgelegenheden in de buurt. Geniet van het restaurant in het resort. Ga een dagje snorkelen op menjangan island of heerlijk lezen op het strand. Het personeel zorgt ervoor dat het je aan niets zal ontbreken!

Staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were so lovely and friendly. The grounds are extremely beautiful and the accommodation gorgeous and comfortable. The location is completely unmatched right on the beach. The snorkelling and swimming in the sea right off the beach is excellent. I couldn’t believe how many fish we saw right there! Paradise! We were completely blown away by the reefs. The included breakfast is delicious and the restaurant has a great selection of delicious food and drinks. Restaurant staff remembered us from the first day which was so nice. Spa is an awesome experience and the staff there are very skilled, lovely and hospitable. Really can’t fault the hotel and would absolutely recommend anyone stay here, whether you’re a couple looking to relax or a family. Pemuteran is a very special place and Pondok Sari is the pearl of the area.

This is not a typical resort. It’s a boutique hotel with traditional architecture and artwork from all over Bali and Java enormous trees near the beach and wonderful outside seating area. Very tastefully done. A great place to detox from technology. There are no televisions in the room and I like that.

We loved the Balinese architecture and decor. The gardens and paths made every room seem private. Restaurant meals were delicious. Diving and snorkelling excursions fabulous. Spa treatments excellent. But most of all, the staff were all amazing.

I liked the beauty of the buildings and nature tropical gardens. The traditional style of building. Absolute fantastic staff all around. Dive centre attached with very helpful staff. The hotel and also the pool look so natural in their beauty.

Après 38 pays découverts je dois dire que de loin c’était le meilleur hôtel. Personnel à l’écoute, pas envahissant, très poli, sympathique….petit déjeuner délicieux. La décoration traditionnelle balinaise exceptionnelle , salle de bain dehors top, piscine magnifique et les massages on ne peut mieux rêver :-) Un grand merci à tout le monde

Lovely traditional Indonesian building style with all modern luxuries and amenities. Lots of privacy, in lovely garden, direct beach access. Personal contact with staff, feels like visiting a lovely family (instead of commercial non-personal resort). Excellent kitchen chef. Great value-for-money.

Le calme, l’originalité, maisons traditionnelles avec charme. La gentillesse du personnel et l’amabilité du manager. Le restaurant au bord de la plage et le professionnalisme du staff de massage.

L’atmosfera che emana la struttura è pazzesca, vale la pena sceglierlo perché ti senti immerso in un posto magico e molto più caratteristico rispetto a posti più curati ma senza anima, troppo moderni. Il personale è molto gentile, la piscina è molto bella (anche se troppi pochi lettini), ci sono piaciuti i trattamenti della SPA ed è proprio sulla spiaggia. Un’altra cosa molto bella è fare colazione guardando il mare!

Il ristorante non pensiamo sia all’altezza della struttura, infatti abbiamo mangiato quasi sempre da altre parti, è una cosa che si potrebbe migliorare (così come avere opzioni gluten free o per intolleranti al lattosio). Abbiamo trovato la camera pulita, ma la pulizia quotidiana effettuata dal personale non è all’altezza del prezzo pagato, potrebbero essere molto più accurati (per esempio non c’era un cestino in camera e non buttavano la spazzatura che lasciavi in camera o in generale non pulivano bene ovunque, anche quando era un po’ sporco dopo una giornata di utilizzo). Mancavano alcuni oggetti che ci si aspetta da una struttura di questo tipo (più asciugamani, il phone, il frigorifero, un cestino in camera). Abbiamo voluto scrivere anche quello che non ci è piaciuto come spunto di miglioramento, detto ciò non sono cose imprescindibili o che ci hanno rovinato la vacanza, ma che avrebbero reso l’esperienza completamente positiva :)

Der Weg zu anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten Außer Tauchen und Schnorcheln ist weit, auch die Anreise vom Flughafen dauert. Wir waren überrascht dass Preise für Ausflüge und Airport Transfer in Euro angegeben wurden, und dann per Taschenrechner in IDR umgerechnet wurde. Da wir in IDR bezahlt haben hatten wir doppelte Umtausch Gebühren.

Sehr angenehmer Service, unaufdringlich aber liebenswert. Insbesondere der Service der Karang Divers war aufmerksam und gut organisiert. Die Boote sind modern und sehr angenehm...es war immer genug Platz für jeden Taucher. Wir kommen definitiv wieder

Die Tauchflaschen scheinen sehr alt zu sein und passen nicht immer zu den 1. Stufen der Atemregler. Heisst es entweicht mitunter zischend Luft. Abhilfe schafft nur die DIN 1. Stufe über INT Adapter mit der DIN Flasche zu verbinden....oder das Einlegen eines 2 O-Rings ins Ventilder Tauchflasche. Beides keine optimalen Lösungen. Die Reinigungsbecken an der Tauchbasis sind zu klein dimensioniert und müssten mal erweitert werden. Ebenso die beiden Duschen an der Tauchbasis. Während unseres Aufenthalts funktionierten diese nur am ersten Tag.

Superschöne, gepflegte Anlage, die allerdings etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist. Grosser Pluspunkt sind die unglaublich freundlichen Mitarbeiter.

Das Moskitonetz über dem Bett ist keine blosse Deko - wir hatten recht viele Moskitos im Bungalow.

The hotel is beyond beautiful. The pool, the garden, the beach, the old houses. The staff is sweet, polite and very helpful. Recommendations for the area Mangroove Forrest Menjangan island - we did a snorkeling trip and it was the best coral and fish we ever seen Tempel tour

The waiting time in the restaurant are long. We ate there 6 times for lunch and dinner and the shortest wait was 40 mins while one evening we waited more than 1 hour.

Die Anlage ist superschön am Strand (Unterkünfte nach in den Garten verteilt) gelegen. Es verläuft sich auch in der Hochsaison. Liegen am Strand ausreichend vorhanden und mit viel Schatten (Sonne geht auch). Freundliches Personal! Schnorchel hatten wir bessere Orte. Die Korallen sind arg kaputt, auch wenn dort versucht wird, diese wieder anzusiedeln. Wir sind eh tauchen bei menjangan gewesen… das hat sich sehr gelohnt. Dorthin werden auch etliche Schnorcheltrips angeboten.

Frühstück in Form eines buffets war ok. Wir haben einmal am Strand abends gegessen. Das Ambiente ein Traum. Preise leider recht hoch.

Amazing location. Clean town and beach. Nice pool area and stunning gardens and natural fish pools. Beachside restaurant is at an epic gorgeous location right on the beach under huge trees.

We found the bathroom a bit dodgy. Shower was average and the outdoor bathroom a bit too close to our neighbours outdoor bathroom (noises from private things are easily heard).

The location is very convenient for beach access. The booking process and prompt replies to questions via booking.com was excellent and the service provided by Edhy in his communications and at the property was exceptionally good, he is a real asset to the hotel. The buffet breakfast at the hotel during the tourist season was excellent and very convenient to allow flexibility in our holiday. All the staff on the property were very helpful. Liked the traditional wood carving incorporated in the hotel design, felt like the old Bali. Use Karang Divers at the beachfront for your trip to Menjangan, they are very professional and caring. Room 8 is in good central location.

No kettle in the standard room but they were happy to provide one upon request, bought coffee/tea at local shop. No fridge in standard rooms.

The kindness shown to us by the staff, particularly Edi and Nia (in reception) and Michael in the restaurant was exemplary. I was unwell for some of the time, the Doctor visited, a car was arranged to take me to hospital, NOTHING was too much trouble. There were a couple of issues with both the shower, and the air-conditioning, these were attended to straight away. The choice of food in the restaurant was FABULOUS. I don't like writing such a positive review, as I want to return next year, and don't want the place overrun with tourists 😁
