Die Lage ist super!

Die zahlreichen Busreisegruppen, die abends ins Hotel einfallen und im Speisesaal(Blick zum Parkplatz mit Bussen) sich am Buffet sehr speziell benahmen. Einzelreisende gehen dabei unter. Die wenigen Hauptgerichte auf der Menükarte waren eher minderwertig. Tagsüber kommen zudem weitere Busladungen zur Besichtigung der schönen Räume.

The location and view was awesome

They cater to the excursion busses more then regular travellers. The food was catered to excursion busses and when they leave there is nothing

The location is one of the best in the world for extraordinary views. Also love the lobby with its gorgeous mix of mid century furnishings.

Rooms are fairly basic and we experienced a few big tour groups at dinner - super noisy!. The staff were great though and shifted our dinner setting to the lobby

Nice big room with lovely view of valley from huge window. Good location for getting the Flam train the next morning.

Luckily we stopped in Voss on drive from Bergen and picked up dinner. Awful dinner menu if you are vegetarian. Food at breakfast buffet wasn't great either. Hotel is dated as are furnishings in the room. WAY overpriced. No need to stay here. Stay in Flam if you are getting early Flam train.

Mattress was very uncomfortable, there were uninsulated cables coming out of the wall, the whole hotel looks like it was never renovated since the 60s. Breakfast very basic. Totally overpriced

Stalheim Hotel er et fantastisk sted at besøge. Beliggenheden er storslået med en flot udsigt over fjeldene og dalen. Vi havde et dejligt ophold.

Har intet negativt at sige om opholdet.

Die Lage war toll.

Man kommt sich vor, wie in einer Jugendherberge. Sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Wie man sieht, sind hauptsächlich Gäste mit einer Busgesellschaft dort. Punkt 9.30 Uhr wird das Frühstücksbuffet abgeräumt. Eine junge Frau vom Servicepersonal hat das Geschirr und Teller in einer Lautstärke abgeräumt, dass man sich gewundert hat. Nicht sehr freundlich und eher genervt.

Ein tolles Hotel mit außergewöhnlicher Lage. Einige kommentieren das kein TV vorhanden ist. Aber das hat uns bei dieser Lage überhaupt nicht gestört.

The view is amazing. I paid more for the valley view and it became the highlight of my trip.

For travellers who are not driving, you need to put in more efforts on the logistics.

I sent a few messages to the hotel about transportation and they got back to me so quickly with such helpful information. They even drove my friend and I to the bus stop down the hill in the morning. The breakfast was delicious with so many options and the view from the room was amazing!

Die Lage und Aussicht sind einmalig. Regelbare Heizung im Zimmer.

Keine brauchbare Steckdose zugänglich. Frühstück-Buffet eher mager im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels. Das Dinner-Buffet viel zu hochpreisig für das Angebot (695 Nok).Niemand kann bei diesem Angebot an Speisen Essen für 695 Nok verspeisen.

Gyönyörű helyen egy 19.századi hotel. A szoba kényelmes, a reggeli kiváló. Kedves személyzet.

Kevés a parkolóhely, mert a nagy turista buszok elfoglalják.

The views of course. Free tea and coffee in reception area. Free parking. Olde worlde vibe.

The room was cold. The walls are paper thin, it felt like you were in the shower with the person next door.

Breakfast was average, coffee tasteless

Prachtige uitkijkplek, gezellige kamer, grote verblijfruimte, goed en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet, heerlijk diner en uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ik werd bij de bushalte opgehaald en kreeg een kamerupgrade. Voelde me echt welkom en heb een heerlijk verblijf gehad.

Alles was uitstekend in orde.

Die Lage

Mehrere Reisebusse kommen am Tag an, rennen durch das Hotel, trinken kurz Kaffee und sind wieder verschwunden. Dadurch lässt die Sauberkeit im Foyer sehr zu wünschen übrig! Das Abend Buffet mit 60 € pro Person ist überteuert!. Die Kellner sind definitiv nicht vom Fach mit mit unsauberer Dienstbekleidung, und das schon zum Frühstück

La gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel de la réception. Un grand merci à Emilija qui est venue me chercher en voiture à mon arrêt de bus deux fois consécutives pour m'éviter 15 mn de marche pour rejoindre l'hôtel. La chambre était d'une propreté parfaite, le petit déjeuner de grande qualité.

Un bémol: ma chambre était située à côté d'un ascenseur. De plus pas de transport en commun (bus) tôt le matin pour rejoindre la gare de Flåm pour mon départ, ce qui a occasionné des frais de taxi très élevés.

Отель расположен в потрясающем месте. Наши окна были с видом на горы . Чисто Удобные кровати. Доброжелательный персонал .

Очень шумно на завтраке Впечатление что персонал не справляется. Дорогой ресторан Не знаю как можно было так испортить форель . Не стоит здесь ужинать .

Den fantastiska utsikten.

Att dammsuga om kvällen med gäster i salongen är en dålig lösning.

La vue est LA raison pour laquelle vous choisirez cet hôtel. Son emplacement surplombant la vallée offre une vue magnifique. Le personnel est très aimable et fait de son mieux malgré l'affluence.

Malheureusement la vue ne peut pas tout faire passer. Nous nous sommes retrouvés au diner avec trois bus de touristes. Payer 640 nok par personne pour le buffet (presque 60€ ou 70$) pour être dans une ambiance de cantine de lycée à faire la queue devant des marmites vides car la cuisine était visiblement débordée et mal préparée à l'affluence, à attendre 20 minutes pour voir arriver certains plats et finalement choisir ce qui était disponible et non pas ce que nous désirions... ce n'est pas acceptable à ce prix. Je sais que la saison est courte pour ces hôtels mais il y avait une salle de restaurant vide dans laquelle ils auraient pu mettre les familles et couples qui ne faisaient pas partie des groupes.

Expectaculares vistas del valle, si llegas de noche y lo descubres por la mañana, expectacular!. Si eres amante de la historia desde su terraza a la derecha podrás encontrar el puesto de vigilancia "Lirolai" de la II Guerra Mundial

הגענו עם מכוניות שכורות חשמליות, בחניה שבה ניתן להטעין חנו מכוניות (אין שום סימן שזה רק לטעינה), אחת המכוניות היתה של עובדת והיא פינתה לנו , הטענו מכונית אחת במשך כל הלילה וזה הטעין בערך 20%

El personal del hotel y la ubicación

La relación calidad precio. Vale muy caro para las habitaciones antiguas.

Las vistas desde la habitación eran espectaculares.

La bañera de la habitación era muy incómoda. Necesitaría una reforma.

The view is unbelievable from the valley view rooms. Nice terrace to walk around and historical log home village museum on site too

Needed some updating in the rooms and the restaurant is not where the views are.

El sitio es precioso. Increíbles vistas. La habitación muy agradable y muy cómoda. El desayuno muy completo en un bonito salón. El personal muy atento y agradable.

Úchvatný výhled! Neskutečné! Vyplatí se pokoj s výhledem.Lokalita je fantastická! Pokoj dostatečně velký i vybavený, jen zvuková izolace malá. Ale lokalita!!!!

The view from the room was spectacular

View, view, view! Room with a view doesn’t begin to describe it! The walk down the old carriage road was equally amazing! Also enjoyed the little Viking village!

Rooms very dated but comfortable, beds, shower pressure and everything was great given how old the hotel is!

La vue est splendide magique même, la chambre est un désastre une salle de bain sortie tout droit des internats psy des années 40, le petit déjeuner le lait froid malgré une demande de chauffer ce dernier sinon assez complet , un lieu qui prend aux tripes quand vous arrivez dans le hall.

Le lait froid du petit déjeuner, la chambre sordide avec tuyaux apparents décoration à la hauteur d’un film glauque….

view breakfast

this is a hotel for groups. we stayed there for 2 nights and every day there were more than 3 groups. you can imagine how busy at breakfast time and they keep best table for groups!!!!!! they give me a room just next elevator and there is a big noise from some facility. I ask the staff to change and she said there is no any other room. I see this is a group priority hotel.

La habitación me pareció muy pobre y escueta para la categoría del hotel. Muy austera. También bastante anticuada.

Outstanding location with an amazing view

The bathroom had a stench of mould, the room and the hotel generally is unrenovated with tasteless interior. The buffé in the evening as well as the breakfast buffé were of low quality. Noisy restaurant and understaffed.

Η τοποθεσία τού ξενοδοχείου υπέροχη δωμάτιο με θέα τό φαράγγι ήμασταν πάνω από τά σύννεφα. Καθαριότητα το προσωπικό πολύ φιλικό άνετα δωμάτια καί κρεβάτια .Η διακόσμηση μιας άλλη εποχής έμοιαζε σα μουσείο με μοναδικά κομμάτια.Παρολο που ειχε πολλά πούλμαν ήταν πολύ ήσυχα.

Το μπάνιο χρειάζεστε ανακαίνιση.

Stunning location and good food

No facility to make a drink in the room, however both tea and coffee were free at the bar anytime. Hotel is looking a little dated in places but still a lovely place to stay.

The hotel is situated in the mountains, with extraordinary views of the canyon and the surrounding peaks. The staff were very kind and even drove us to the nearby bus station, as the road is quite steep. The buffet breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of good-quality food. We did not regret choosing to stay here instead of at an expensive hotel in crowded Flåm, as both Flåm and Gudvangen are easily accessible by bus.

Everything was as expected.

Atvirai - kambaryje buvo įsisenejusios dėmės ant fotelio kurios neisvalysi jau matyti, čiužinys ir pagalvės galėjo būti patogesnės kaip tokiam viesbuciui, pasiūlymas - jei turetų sauną - būtų tobulai po pasivaiksciojimų ir kelionių po Norvegijos siaurinę dalį to trūko

Es un hotel de montaña con muy buenas vistas y las camas son cómodas y habitaciones limpias

Se ve un poco viejo y el desayuno un poco pobre. Es de los hoteles con menos variedad en el desayuno de los q estuve en Noruega. La cafetería cierra a las 17,30h, asiq para cenar solo dispone de un buffet q resulta caro.

The biggest disappointment was the noise. The sound insulation in the hotel seems extremely poor. In my first room, I could hear people upstairs stomping around and what sounded like furniture being moved late into the night. The staff kindly moved me to another room, but unfortunately the second room was also noisy, with banging and footsteps somehow carrying from floors above. It made getting a good night’s sleep very difficult. Breakfast was also a major letdown and easily the worst part of the food experience. On top of that, the hotel receives large tour-bus groups, so the common areas can suddenly become very crowded and hectic. The staff handled my complaint well, but between the poor soundproofing, the crowds, and the disappointing breakfast, the stay was much less relaxing than I expected.
