Reviewed Apr 7, 2026Very nice and cosy accommodation in the heart of Austrian Alps - at the top of the Pitztal Valley. We have used it as a base for our skiing trip. The bus stop is only couple of metres away and you can also find the ski-pass machine at the bus stop. Easy to print your pre booked tickets. There are only 3 bus stops to get to the glacier express. Accommodation was very clean, hygienic and the owners were super friendly. Breakfast had plenty of variety for keeping us ready for the slopes. They also offered scrambled eggs on our request. Ski room was well equipped to store our skis and boots (on the warmer). We could access all doors (main entrance / ski room) with our room card. Bergwerk restaurant is literally few steps away from the main entrance. We would be more than happy to come back in the future.
There is no small fridge in the rooms, which we didn’t really need during our stay.

We stayed in a private apartment with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as a fully equiped kitchen, which was very practical given that we had two kids with us. We did not eat the breakfast at the house but could order fresh bread daily from the local bakery, which was great. There is also a nice restaurant just across the street, as well as several other ones in the nearby villages. The house is really cozy but modern, you get the traditional vibe without feeling like you’re staying at your great aunt’s place. There is a bus stop just outside the house to take you to Mandarfen or the glacier, and a super practical ski room to dry and store the equipment. We loved Haus Margret!

Reviewed Mar 27, 2026Dobrá lokalita, cca 15 min autem ke stanici lanovky, stanice skibusu cca 100 m. Padesát metrů od domu je restaurace, kde je možné povečeřet. Velice vstřícná a milá paní domácí, která dělá výborné bohaté snídaně a pomůže pokud je to potřeba. Nám zprostředkovala např. aktuální dopravní informaci, protože když jsme odjížděli tak hustě sněžilo. Ochotně pomohla vyřešit i problém související se zdravotními problémy.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2025Het appartement en de locatie waren prachtig! We konden geen mooiere plek wensen voor onze vakantie. Het appartement is voorzien van alle gemakken en heel erg superschoon. Ook heeft 3 balkons zodat je altijd in de zon of in de schaduw kunt zitten. Ook is het fijn dat het appartement voorzien is van rolluiken waardoor het 's nachts (naar wens) goed donker is en het appartement lekker koel blijft bij warm weer.

Reviewed Jul 13, 2025Meil oli suurepärane kahetoaline apartement. Hea asukoht oru keskel. Pitztali Sommer Card on väga hea asi (kohe pakuti seda hotellist), võimaldab sõita bussiga piiramatult mööda orgu ja võimladas ka päevas ühe mäe tõstukite sõidud.
Selles külakeses ei olnud ühtegi kauplust.

We stayed for 5 nights at the 2 bedroom apartment (family of 4) - everything was perfect - the most comfortable beds, the bathrooms are five star quality, kitchen had everything we needed, the view of Pitztal and the sound of the river is the true vacation spirit, close to hikes and the Glacier - what can we say? A perfect accommodation!
It is important to know that in the village there is no supermarket so bring everything with you - and also there are stairs to the apartment (if there is a difficulty).
