Location & smart cleanliness

The small children’s pool that was under a conservatory roof - children shouted and screamed constantly. This was amplified by the roof and led to most of the adults leaving & going elsewhere. Make the rooftop pool adults only please!!!

Loved the area. Easy to walk, eclectic, easy to find restaurant

Only thing is the rooms could be cooler but that is probably just my own taste. It was on.

This hotel is superb. It has a really lovely laid back vibe & is perfectly located for the beach, the port (ferry port & fishing port) and the old town (bars & restaurants) I couldn't fault it.

Teniendo habitaciones libres nos dieron la peor, que no se ajustaba a las fotos de Booking. No obstante, pedimos el cambio y muy amablemente nos dieron la habitación que esperábamos.

The location is just amazing just in front of the Port of Tarifa and at walking distance both from the old town and the beach. We got a room with a seaview which was very nice. The pool on the roof is really nice and with fantastic sea view. And the breakfast buffet one of the best I've ever had. Also great parking facilities.

It was very clean and close to everything

We recently spent 5 nights at this our favorite hotel in Spain. Thanks to the staff for arranging our favorite sea view room once again. The buffet breakfast has just about anything you could ask for and the staff are all very nice and do their best to make everything perfect. Underground parking ( for a fee) is a godsend especially at holiday periods when it’s difficult to find street parking. Little extras like umbrellas if it’s raining or sun umbrellas if it’s beach weather are a thoughtful touch. Two minutes walk to the beach and 5 minutes into the town center make this a perfect location. We also love the heated rooftop pool especially off season. The spa area is a treat to enjoy. Looking forward to our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay in this property. Great location, comfortable room, very pleasant design and atmosphere. Highlights were breakfast, the pool on the roof and the Spa. We stayed 6 nights and enjoyed all services. The staff was friendly and professional. Special mention to the staff at breakfast and the lady at reception of the Spa. Everything well directed by Jeanne the general manager. We will be back for sure.

Das Frühstück war einfach super - vielfältig, regionale Spezialitäten, frisch, liebevoll angerichtet. Ein add-on: Da wir am Abreisetag schon um 6 los mussten, wurde uns ein Frühstück to go bereit gemacht. Es war riesig und auch so frisch, das Ganze nachhaltig verpackt, wir waren begeistert!

We booked a junior suite with balcony, and liked how spacious and comfortable the room was. Hot, hot shower, very quiet sleeping, firm mattress—all perfect. Breakfast was Exceptional—perhaps the nicest “tea bar” I’ve ever seen. We enjoyed the pool, the spa, and the lovely restaurant. They also have an active green/recycling policy, which we appreciate. And the staff was terrific.

The exterior is a bit off-putting, andthere’s no sign street level.

El hotel supero nuestras expectativas. Es un hotel con un diseño muy cuidado y una limpieza excelente. De olores agradables y estancias muy cuidadas. La habitación era grande, con un baño perfecto y muy limpio. La piscina se encuentra en la azotea y es muy tranquila, apenas había gente, desde allí puede verse todo el puerto de Tarifa. Se encuentra muy cerca de la zona centro. El desayuno tipo Buffet es de muy buena calidad y variedad.

A localização não poderia ser melhor. O hotel é confortável e bonito, os funcionários são gentis e prestativos. O quarto e banheiro são confortáveis. O café da manhã é excelente. Os travesseiros são bastante confortáveis, há de diversas alturas e rigidez/maciez. É maravilhoso voltar ao hotel, à tarde, e ter produtos L’Occitane para banho, cabelo e hidratação da pele! E o primeiro abastecimento do frigobar é cortesia! Esses mimos fazem diferença!

Somente não dei nota 10 em tudo por dois detalhes que podem influenciar um pouco: o ar condicionado é regulado para não baixar de 21 graus, mas desliga automaticamente até atingir novamente 23 graus. Como Tarifa é muito quente no verão, isso pode incomodar um pouco. Mas os itens positivos anulam este pequeno desconforto. Outro item: por questão de segurança, há uma luz verde no teto, acima da porta, para orientar a saída em caso de emergência ou falta de energia; acontece que é impossível desligar essa luz e isso incomoda um pouco à noite, pois clareia significativamente o quarto. Sugiro ver uma maneira de minimizar esse efeito, caso seja realmente necessário manter esse item no quarto.

Excelente ubicación. El hotel es precioso, lleno de detalles y de sorpresas. Habitaciones cómodas, súper limpias. Baño estupendo con jabones de calidad. La piscina es chulisima con vistas increíbles. El desayuno es de mucha calidad y variedad. Lo recomiendo cien por cien.

Lo único es que pase un poco de calor, pero si lo dices en recepcion lo resuelven

Better than expected, amazing staff, lovely room with a Tempur-pedic or some other memory foam mattress. We had a view of the harbor, which was added value to be able to see Africa, sunsets and the boats from our room. Also make sure to get breakfast at the restaurant. They have a green juice machine and so many amazing healthy foods (chia seeds, fresh eggs, cheeses, fruits, etc).

Go slow and have patience parking in the garage. It’s very tight in there!

We had a really great stay. The staff were all great, the room was modern, bright fresh with lots of light and great views over the harbour and to Morocco. We did two sessions in the spa (need 2hrs to get the full experience) and a couples massage, which was amazing, totally chilled experience. The breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety for all tastes. Everything is within minutes of the hotel so don’t need to drive, but if you have a car there is space below the hotel which made that super easy. We will 100% stay again if we come back to Tarifa and highly recommended from us This hotel has a great vibe. Enjoy!

Et fint hotell med kvalitet i alle detaljer. Gunstig beliggenhet med nærhet til strand, det historiske sentrum og fergene til Tanger. Flott frokost, hyggelig personale og fine rom. Tarifa er et reisemål det er vel verdt å besøke.

This is a well appointed and stylish hotel. Breakfast is very good. Rooms are a sized nicely. We took a room overlooking the water but it is not necessary to pay extra for this feature, as you have very good views from the rooftop. The bathrooms are very clean, as is the room. The location is very convenient, just steps from the port for the ferry, and walking distance to a beach. The staff are very courteous. I have two reasons to not give this five stars. One, there are no blankets on the bed. The first night we looked around and found two individual fleece blankets for each of us in the cupboard. They were not appropriately sized and the material was a little bit rough. Plus, we are here in June and it’s strange to be putting on a flimsy blanket made of fleece. When you choose a hotel, you do it primarily to spend the night, not for location, not for breakfast. The blanket situation made a struggle a little bit to go to sleep. Two, the rooftop pool is just OK.

Das Hotel ist super gelegen , nur ein Steinwurf von der Altstadt entfernt. Der Pool auf dem Dach hat auch Schattenplätze, was ich sehr schätzte. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich und das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen . Ich würde das nächste Mal wieder dieses Hotel wählen .

Ich habe Bademäntel, Watterstäbchen etc . vermisst, doch das ist Geklöhn auf hohem Niveau .

The staff at this hotel are fantastic. Like life itself not all things go to plan but it is how it is dealt with is what matters.i am disabled and they could not have been more helpful, thanks to all but especially Manuella and Jeanne the hotel manager. Wonderful

The location is excellent and has wonderful amenities, with a view of the port. We also chose to travel for a day trip to Tangiers, and it was a very short walk to the ferry port. It was also a very short walk to the town for dinner. The breakfast was unbelievably plentiful and varied, and the beautifully designed courtyard was a delight to dine in front of. We also rented a car in Sevilla for an Andalusian road trip and we really appreciated the on-site parking. We checked out in the morning and they were nice enough to hold our bags behind the counter and remain parked in the garage until our day trip was over.

Honestly, nothing!

It was the most pleasant stay I’ve had for a long time. Everything was so perfect and wish I could have stayed longer. From the minute we checked in everyone was so helpful, kind and generally happy staff. And oh my god the SPA! Not being a very spa person this was such a nice surprise…. It was stunning place, clean and just such a nice place to spend a couple of hours I cannot wait to visit this hotel again. Specially staying downstairs by the patio and fountain … just beautiful!

Everything really. Great hotel, secure parking in garage, staff were friendly, food was good, room was likely and bed very comfortable. Roof pool was fantastic with views of Africa and harbour.

Only minor point was the pool bar wasn’t open, but not a show stopper.

Tarifa is a vibrant place. This hotel is easily the best location that oozes class and service. The rooms are tastefully decorated in the Moors tradition and location is central to the old town and vibrant enjoyment that the place has to offer. The Point restaurant offers traditional cuisine and impeccable service. The 3rd floor pool is perfect for chilling and overlooks the marina, as well as Morocco. A fun and cool vibe with modern amenities and you’ll get taken back to the traditions of the Moors history. Easily one of the best Hotels in Tarifa and you’ll enjoy the guest parking underground that’s perfect for those visiting. The staff and room service / maintenance is spot on and just enjoy the cultural delights.

Adjacent parking. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful presentation of the food which was high quality and with vast selection and choice. Good location for old town and very windy beach. Free popcorn in reception was fun idea.

Very poor check in. No information given about the hotel or breakfast or the area, no sense of any welcome, no pre check in information sent about garage parking even though pre-booked so they knew we wanted it. Check out with different staff member equally poor. No questions about if we'd enjoyed our stay etc. Just didn't engage at all. Nowhere comfortable to sit for an evening drink....we tried but the barman was equally indifferent and the lighting was too bright for any sort of evening atmosphere so we had one drink and gave up. Sadly our experience did not match the high cost paid.

Wir besuchen dieses Hotel immer wieder. Wenn wir Lust auf eine kleine Auszeit bekommen, fahren wir nach Tarifa und buchen ein Zimmer in diesem Hotel, sofern verfügbar. Das Hotel hat in den Jahren, in denen wir es besuchen, nichts an Qualität verloren, es wird stets in Schuss gehalten, renoviert, modernisiert. Das Personal ist professionell, nett und hilfsbereit. Besonders im Restaurant, beim Frühstück, aber auch abends wird man immer gut bedient, ein Lächeln gibt es kostenfrei dazu. Das Frühstück ist bombastisch, die tolle Auswahl führt regelmäßig dazu, dass wir uns etwas übernehmen, allerdings ist es eine sehr gute Basis für den Tag in Tarifa. Auch die Tatsache, dass das Hotel eine eigene Tiefgarage hat, ist in Tarifa nicht zu vernachlässigen, denn nach freien Parkplätzen sucht man sonst in der Nähe der Altstadt und des Hafens lange. Was noch? Die Dachterrasse mit Pool und einem Hammerblick auf den Hafen, die Straße von Gibraltar und Marokko ist top. Leckere Cocktails runden es dort ab. Tief unter dem Hotel findet man den schönen Spa-Bereich. Der Entspannung dort stehen nur evtl. andere Hotelgäste entgegen…

Mir fällt echt nichts ein, sonst würde ich das Hotel nicht immer wieder buchen.

This hotel was a lovely oasis in Tarifa! We were in town to take a day journey into Morocco, so this location was perfect for us to catch the ferry, as it is right next to the harbor area. It has lovely atmophere, with comfy rooms and great service. The restaurant was good for dinner, and great for breakfast. And they have free entertainment some evenings - we got to enjoy flamenco one of the nights we were there. Would recommend this hotel if you are in the area!

Das Hotel ist unter Anderem ein absoluter Traum und Geheimtipp für Menschen, die ökologisch und nachhaltig denken und leben. Für uns zeigt sich einmal mehr, dass die Sternebewertung nicht das Mass aller Dinge ist. Wir denken, dass das Hotel auch 4 Sterne Superior oder 5 Sterne verdient hat. Wir haben schon 5-Sterne Hotels erlebt, die schlechter waren! Wir können gar nicht alles aufzählen, was super war! Das Frühstück müssen wir trotzdem noch erwähnen: 11/10!!

This hotel is a gem! It's cool but not achingly so, it doesn't feel contrived. Absolutely everything is right about it but in a relaxed, comfortable way. Loved it and will definitely stay again.

Great experience! We celebrated 31 years together and found a nice attention on the room together with a hand written card to congratulate us. The very very friendly staff recommended us to have dinner in Raizes, we had the best meal ever there. The breakfast and lunch in the hotel are also of a very high standard. They also recommended Marco Mora as a photographer. He's a great professional and made the best pictures ever. For us this was the perfect place to celebrate this special occasion and the hotel & its staff only made it better. Thank you all!!!

Superb hotel, spa and restaurant beyond anything it’s possible to convey on the internet. Service professional yet friendly, interior design inspired yet homely, and amenities from the beautiful rooftop pool to ample underground car parking putting this into the best of the best category. Can’t wait to return next year.
