The pictures on booking or tripadvisor look great but in reality it looks different. The aircondition didnt work, while it had above 30 degrees outside. In the bathroom, all the hooks to hang the belongings on it were broken.  Due to not existing bath tube the bathroom was easily floated. The Pool was really ugly. The coating/painting of the pool was peeling off. The light in the pool was hanging in the water and the cable was visible. You cannot swim there, even the hotel staff confirmed that entering the sea was not possible due to sharp rocks along the shoreline. This was sooo disapointing.

Nice People at the front desk, very Artistic Design throughout the grounds! Sweet pool overlooking the Sea and Islands!

Toppen trevlig personal i receptionen, dessvärre var restaurangen ett riktigt bottennapp, tog lång tid att få maten ( personalen sa att dom hade problem med sitt it system), kanske inte hela världen, men sedan får vi in kall mat och får inte in maten samtidigt, dessutom dyr restaurang med thailändska mått mätt, ta en promenad på 10 minuter så hittar ni säkert något trevligare ställa att äta på

We stayed at the Beach resort 5 years ago. At that time, the property was newer however there was a flooding problem with the pool and staff were new and less experienced. Fast forward 5 years and we see many positive changes. - Staff gave us a great warm welcome with drinks - The pool has been relocated to higher ground and now has trees and shrubs around it - Staff gave us a free room upgrade - Restaurant staff were excellent - Breakfast variety excellent We loved our room and this property is well maintained! To improve: we saw a hotel cat lounging on a guest lounge chair in the lobby. This could be an issue for anyone with allergies who decided to sit there afterwards.

Staff had not check key card room it was does work no electricity, no air condition in my room. After they walk away from my room. I need to asked house keeper for a new card and tested by myselft what happended. And called on the telphone please change my keycard.

I had a wonderful stay! Staff was super friendly, the food was great and they accommodated my vegan diet very nicely (no just french fries and fried mixed veggies, they made an excellent and tasty selection for me), great views, and relaxing place.

Location

I stayed at the hotel for the fourth time in early August (just stopovers), and it is always a pleasure to be there. The hotel is attractively designed, and the staff are uniformly kind and helpful. It seems to be a very well-managed hotel. After a long journey, it is a relief to sleep well on a large, comfortable bed. I wish that I could find more hotels as consistently good as this.

Nice hotel with good breakfast. Staff are helpful and friendly. Try to pre arrange your transportation to the airport. They charge 200 baht per person for a 10 minute ride to the airport. Only because there is no traffic in this area.

Spacious, clean and modern rooms with sea view. Our kids stayed in a very nice maisonette (two story room). Friendly staff and lots of choices on the restaurant menu. We enjoyed our stay very much, it is a great spot to catch a breath and recharge.

Overpriced not worth it.

It was a very good experience staying in this jotel. The bed and the clealiness were excellent. Hotel staffs are very nice!

The hotel looks good than I expected. Plus, it wax sparkly clean. Room is spacious and comfortable. Bed sheets/towels smelt better than some 5-star. Breakfast is limited but interesting and tasty. We love the master room which you have 1 living room and 1 bedroom.

the room was clean and the hotel in general, spacious room as well.. The pool was closed but only because of COVID-19 restriction.. The food at their restaurant was not good, we only order very basic food as we did not have a very good experience.. And because of that, we decided to just buy food at 7/11 because we had trouble with our tummy after a meal.. we stayed for 3 nights at the hotel and we only ate twice or thrice in total at their restaurant.. We're lucky that there's 7/11 close to the hotel and they have bicycle available to use for free.. We found no or little restaurant nearby.. there was a small thai restaurant close but they don't speak English.. in the afternoon, there's a small market near 7/11 to buy fruits and street food.. It was also annoying to hear very loud banging from the top floor.. on top of our room.. not the hotel's fault but yeah Beachfront hotel but there's no way you can go swimming at the beach as it is very, very, very rocky! We tried to explore and walk both sides of the shore but no luck of finding a nice spot of the beach to swim.. We only got sandflea bites! The hotel was expensive as well if you can't use the amenities..

This was a very basic room with a view of the ocean. The bed was uncomfortable with few amenities. No small towels for the bathroom sink was even given! There is a bright display light on the a/c unit that cannot be turned off which lights the entire room at night making it difficult to sleep. It is in a peaceful and quiet setting and the staff were attentive enough. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. The price was definitely too high for this time when business is all but non existent! Can get much better value other places.

What a pleasant surprise..Nice hotel right on the beach and really enjoyed the 2 days there..Room was nice and comfortable bed...Restaurant food was very good and would definitely stay again.

This was excellent value for money. Good quality room with all the necessities and lovely sea views across the whole bay. The pool area is fantastic and right on the water. The staff were kind and attentive. Highly recommended if you have your own transport, so you can explore the best little coastal enclaves up and down the coast, as this isn't really on the beach, but you can come back and enjoy soaking and lounging at the pool while looking out at the sea.

We got there for one night. Staff is very friendly, pool is ok right now. Meal good and a lot to eat. Breakfast is just ok. Next time we take more days here. Rent a scooter and see, what is ground. Shutle Service to the airport is good.

If I could rate 3.5* I would We stayed at beach residence one night in a garden view room. We paid in advance with no refund policy, however upon arrival we were told the entire pool area outside was closed for maintenance. We wondered why the hotel did not disclose this at time of booking or leading up to our stay. As compensation, staff did not offer to upgrade our room to sea view, even though the hotel was almost empty. All garden view rooms actually look out to the parking lot, but some are better than others. Ours was right over the scooter parking. Notwithstanding those issues, this hotel is very beautiful and we loved our room, which was beautifully designed and very clean and comfortable. We ate twice in the restaurant and the food was very good. Staff were friendly. Since the pool area was closed, we looked for any outdoor seating options but there were none. We did see a deck just outside the restaurant (see my picture) but the chairs were just piled on top of each other. It would have been nice to eat dinner on that deck.

Spent an hour trying to locate the hotel and then concerned as we turned into a dirt track leading to what appears to be a very nice place. Appears to only be staffed by women..? Car park view room was clean and quiet, only saw 3 other guest. Mike from anything else so had to eat in hotel. Food appeared from the kitchen across the car park? but salty and over seasoned. Breakfast was similar, 'american' breakfast was tolerable but rice soup was also salty and over seasoned.... my dogs eat better! No English TV channels, only 3 in 1 coffee available in the room. Cups were covered in ants just minutes after being put down. A barely OK stop over but hotel.looks to be empty and still under construction/repair. Outside furniture just stacked and terrace roofing missing?

We arrived with a taxi around 9 PM at this hotel. (Coming from Koh Tao with the boat) We didn't eat supper so we hoped to eat at the restaurant of the hotel. But the restaurant was already closing. They proposed a taxi ride to an outside restaurant costing 500 baht. We insisted to open the restaurant for us which they did. We could choose between noodle and rice. That's it. It was the worse meal ever eaten in Thailand. The rooms were clean but didn't really reflect the pictures on the website. The bathroom was good and clean. The bed was very very hard. In fact as hard as sleeping on the floor. On the TV they were only thai channels. The breakfast buffet was minimal, in fact very poor. You could choose between thai breakfast or eggs a la cart. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport but the taxi's were late so we had to hurry to catch our flight. Conclusion: there is potential but still a lot of growing before receiving tourists. The only plus is that its nearby the airport.

The Beach Residence is an amazing place. Very close to the airport, friendly staff, splendid views, massive rooms, vehicles available... i am vegetarian and asked for options and they were happy to help. Swimming Pool on its way but i’m not bothered. Staff is really nice. The down side, and is not related to The Beach Residence, is the dirt spread all over the beaches on the area. This has been the most disgusting experience i’ve ever had. Such amazing scenery covered of human wastage. Maybe because now is low season and locals don’t care? Thai government should do something, not for the tourists, for the people living here. Probably a bit of recycling education would help and an environmental department would be needed. How are they gonna empower tourism here if rubbish is around?

Brand new’ modern and well equiped hotel offering gorgious view on the shore and surrounding islands. Only 10’ drive from Chumpon airport. Very clean. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Cosy restaurant where you can taste authentic Thaï food cooked by a local chef. Bycicles available at front desk to enjoy numerous and scenic rides along various beaches or genuine thaï countryside. Loved it .

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. Only a new establishment having been open for a couple of months. Plans for a pool and other activities in the upcoming months will make this place fantastic. Whilst there is no sandy beach at the establishment, just a few minutes on one of the bikes and there are some lovely beaches. Would highly recommend hiring a car or scooter for a day or two, roads are good and it’s easy to follow the coast for 15 minutes or so for numerous cheap seafood and Thai restaurants. Saw very few western tourists in the 5 days here which was lovely after arriving from Bangkok.
