Casa Urbina Wine Resort

Beautiful room very exclusive with a restaurant on site and near other excellent restaurants

Nice place

Grounds are well kept and room was clean

The.property was beautiful.

The room was amazing! The pictures don't do justice how beautiful the room is in reality. The staff was tremendously helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.

The staff were beyond accommodating. We were able to use one room early to drop our group’s luggage off and not tow it around from winery to winery. Of course, this was due to them having the room available and our group taking over most of the vacancies that night. Rooms are spacious and have everything you need. AC worked like a charm. The restaurant was nice and cocktails were delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

Staff was amazing!

Our stay at Casa Urbina Wine Resort was absolutely exceptional and deserves five stars. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a glass of their wonderful wine, setting the perfect tone for our visit. The property itself is lovely, offering gorgeous views of the stars that made for a magical evening. This is the perfect place for a staycation, with a very intimate and serene atmosphere. The rooms are incredibly spacious and wonderfully designed with lovely furniture. We especially appreciated that they are non-adjoining, providing a truly private experience. The rainfall showerheads were a wonderful touch that added to the luxurious feel. The combination of the warm hospitality, the stunning setting, and the fantastic wines makes this a place we can't wait to visit again.

Quick weekend getaway…very close to some of my favorite vineyards and easy access because it’s on one of valles main roads. Btw… Andre restaurant on their property, food, service, ambience, drinks, wow loved it!! That restaurant is a hidden gem 😍

Muy buena elección de hotel, limpio y sin mucho ruido

clean, very nice staff., restaurant on site was very delicious.

Beautiful place, will be returning

Excelente ubicación y excelente lugar para quedarse en pareja

Beautiful location, big room with a wonderful view.

Each room needs wifi and a coffee maker!!!

Hermoso lugar y muy cómodo

Great property , central to restaurants and wineries . Will stay here again in the future

It was a very pleasant stay. The place and the room were very nice and everything very clean. The only thing that the shower pressure wasnt very good.

Excelente opción para quedarte en el valle, lo recomiendo

Property was central to all wineries and walking distance to Frida and Kings and Queens which served food till midnight..

Great service and beautiful property

The rooms were large with a nice view of the vineyards. It was great to relax and unwind with a glass of wine.

Excellent location close to restaurants and other vineyards.

Clean and quiet. No issues

It was a very nice and spacious room, bed was very comfortable, however there was no wifi in the room. Wifi was only available by the sitting area by the lobby. There were no dinning options as restaurant was being renovated.

Pretty quiet, and pretty close to the very good restaurants and bars

Last minute booking. POS: this location is close to the wineries. It is literally half a block away from Cada Frida and King and Queen . Easy to find. Pet friendly, comfortable bed and very clean. There is a fridge in the room. Nice view to and cute patio where you can sit and admire nature. Modern cabin. CON: WiFi is listed, that not correct. Wifi is only available in the patio area that is located by reception. If you are in the cabins further away from the reception area, you do not get WiFi. We went to sit outside in the patio to use WiFi asked the front desk if it was possible to turn on the heating lamps (as it was cold in the night) was informed they did not have gas to turn them on. We didn’t have a problem with that as we went back to our room. The most concerning thing about our stay was that, we took our Poodle. She kept staring at a corner but we didn’t think much of it. The next day, I fed our dog and left to have lunch, when I came back I noticed black specks in the dogs bowl. Upon examining the bowl, it was mouse droppings. We inspected the room and noticed the bottoms part of the walls had small openings. I understand we are out in a field but would have thought they would have covered those at least from the inside. I washed her bowl with soap and water. Feed her the next day, left for wine tasting came back and again her bowl had mouse droppings once again. We brought it the front office (man) attn and brushed it of said we where paid.

Very nice and modern, staff is very friendly and helpful. the place looks amazing clean.

Pet friendly.

We loved the room. It is close to great wineries and restaurants. Had to pay $500 pesos for a small dog (pet fee). There were 3 dogs on premises that made it impossible to have our dog outside and very difficult to take it out for a walk to pee. They were a little aggressive and growled at our dog. Other than that, great stay! Would definitely recommend for a couple and romantic getaway

I thought it was a bigger resort with restaurant and wine tasting all day. This is a sleep and go place not a sleep and enjoy!!!!other places have better places to go, sleeep and drink!!

We have stayed in casa Urbina before and really loved it. But this time around in Aug 26th 2023 The service from the young lady in the front desk was very rude. No customer service whatsoever. This has been the worse experience I’ve had in Casa Urbina. Her attitude was very rude. I have stayed here in the past and have not been treated this way. Very disappointed.

.

It was a very nice stay .

We love staying at Casa Urbina. It is always clean, quiet and safe. The o my downfall this time was the restaurant was not open for the time being and their food is amazing! Had they offered a wine tasting/beer tasting onsite we would have loved that and happily joined in. If that was offered we were not notified. There unfortunately is no WiFi and cell reception is limited just fyi.

No volvería jamás

Everything was great I mean it’s a great way to get out of the city but there’s no wifi other than that it’s very beautiful, spacious modern rooms, very attentive

Doors dont work, dirty floors . Don’t waste your money here. We rented 3 rooms and none of them had hot water we had to take showers with cold water. We told the staff and they just looked at us dint even apologize. When your spending $280 a night per room in Baja we should at least get a apology.

Nice and different type of hotel

Great place to stay. It was located near most of the popular places we wanted to visit. The unit was spacious and clean and the patio had a nice view of vineyards. Definitely recommend it.

Very clean, perfectly located, friendly staff, dog friendly. It was our second time staying here and we will be back soon for sure.

The property photographs well, it is not quite as nice as expected. The floors were dirty.

Perfect weekend getaway

This place was cold, cold, cold. The concrete floor never warmed up and the room was unbearably cold for about 30 hours with the heat at full blast. When we got there, we were the only two rooms occupied for that night. Since we were early and the rooms were not used (or been used for days), we asked for early check-in. They wanted to charge 500 pesos per hour for early check-in. Since we arrived almost three hours before check-in time (3pm) we opted not to pay the 1,500 and sat and waited in the cold lobby. By 2 pm we were so cold sitting there that we relented and paid the 500p for a one hour early check-in. The room was huge but very stark with concrete floors and totally devoid of decorations. There is also no internet in the room, only in the lobby area. Considering how much they charge per night for an empty hotel, it was not good value or good customer service.

A group of 20 spent a weekend at this hotel are were all disappointed almost immediately. The rooms lack some basic comforts like shelves or drawers to store your clothes and proper toiletries, but all of this is no big deal. However, several rooms lacked functioning air conditioners, hot water and, in one case, just water! 4 couples had to switch rooms mid stay. The comon areas are very basic with little else aside from tables, chairs and some shade. A real wasted opportunity given the setting and what is available in other hotels. Finally, checkout was a disaster. Each room had different furnishings (some had a rug while others had table lamps, for example) and even different things in each mini bar, yet after leaving we were accused of taking things and they attempted to charge us for them. It was the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen. One of the couples was even accused of stealing a blanket. There are such beautiful places to stay in The Valley that there is really no need to bother with this place at all.

Friendly staff, close to everything, properly safe but need to improve

Very clean, the rooms are great, the staff was extremely friendly, they have two Tesla chargers, level II 40mi/hour. Will definitely be back, did not eat at restaurant but looks clean like rest of property.

Property is beautiful Rooms are modern and clean TV didn't work and sliding doors do not lock Staff is accommodating plus provide expedient service

It was very pretty nice rooms, the only thing our back sliding door did not lock. That was a bit scary

This is the 3rd time we stay here, amazing architecture and vibe, loved having Sky TV during the World Cup, rooms are comfy and spacious, and walking around the property is a treat.

Individual cabins

I loved everything about this place. The only downside no coffee in the room, but there was wine!

I didn't like that there is no wi-fi in the room and that you can hear your neighbor really loudly, there was no privacy in the duplex rooms.

Great staff, great location close to everything, beautiful scenery, beautiful rooms. I loved everything about this place

Terrible service. Charged me deposit twice and refuse to refund me. Stealing peoples money.

everything

This is a beautiful place to stay it’s quiet has a spacious room, nice views of the vineyard, easy parking, comfortable bed and pillow’s, great restaurant and friendly staff. We have stayed at this hotel 2 times our third will be in September, we are a large group of friends and love to stay at this hotel. I forgot my phone charger last time and realized later that I didn’t have it, we called the hotel and later picked it up.

The property is very dusty since there is no paving of the road in or the parking lot. This means a very dusty room floor until the next morning when the floor is mopped. Restaurant is pretty good with good service. They do have unique dishes on the menu.

We went to Villa De Guadalupe for a wedding, we really loved Casa Urbina, We were Leary about staying in The Valley but we felt very safe there, they had security and security cameras and we will be visiting Casa Urbina in the future

Check in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and very clean. The shower also had plenty of room. The bed was comfortable. We were able to park the car right outside our place. Would definitely stay there again!

Had a great trip to Valle De Guadalupe and our stay at Casa Urbina was perfect its a great property and location is perfect close to all the wineries. We are looking forward to coming back again !!

Enjoyed the property and surroundings.

Unique and comfortable. Disappointed this trip that they discontinued their awesome breakfast out on the patio area when they built the restaurant. And restaurant wasn’t even open for breakfast.

The property is really pretty, but it is not finished. The shower did not work properly, the temperature keeps going up and down without any way to control it.

The property shows wine tasting and shares a menu on their page. Nothing is available. They have no internet service in the room nor TV service. Breakfast supposedly is available after restaurant opens at 1pm after check out? Very misleading information seeing the ad. I wouldn’t come back.

Clean, location close to several wineries and restaurants

Nicer larger than average accommodations, missing pool but understand it’s in the plans.

La arquitectura deja muchísimo que desear. Tanto espacio desperdiciado en las cabañas. Soy arquitecto, les puedo ayudar.

New property needs a lot of improvement. They are doing pool in 2023. You are getting room to sleep nothing else. Rooms are big, nice balcony and view to vinery that’s it.

Overall this place was great. The only thing that I had difficulty was the TV would loose signal and we were not able to watch it. I forgot to mention it to the staff.

Easy access to rooms. Very clean and large rooms. Located near other well known wineries. Easy check in and check out

This property is so beautiful!

I like the patio area beautiful view, I didn’t not like all lights were not working and very little to no hot water. Over all it was a great stay.

The property is beautiful, my only complaint is the cleanliness. In the shower we found Punic hair and one of the towels was dirty or stained.

Love the style, cleanliness and location. The only disappointing thing was their restaurant. It was average good with SUPER tiny portions. Again, everything else was amazing so I recommend staying here but making sure to eat at other local restaurants, which are plentiful.

Horrible service, leaky ceiling, doors that didn’t lock.

It is a nice place to relax on your balcony and have a couple drinks looking up at the sky. However, when you are done with that and you want to chill inside there is a tv with no channels. That was the only bad things that could be pointed out.

This is a property with great potential. It is a great place to relax. The surroundings are peaceful. There is construction happening on the property so that takes away from the experience, but unavoidable if improvements are to be made. We are glad we brought an extra blanket because the heater was slow to heat up. There was warm water for a shower in the evening. While there was no coffee in the room, there was some in the lobby. Location is close to restaurants like Frida. Would stay again.

Cambios de habitación por que el clima falló. La televisión falló. Falta de staff en horario nocturno para brindar cualquier solución. Eventualmente nos quedamos sin calefacción, a 5 grados y sin alguien que pudiera solucionar. En general, mala experiencia.

The property is nice and loved the architecture. Only issue for my partner and I was that the ac/heating unit in our room was not working properly. There is no microwave and coffee machine for those that might want them. Would be nice to have a fire pit somewhere in the property.

Easy access from the Main Street. Excellent room, very modern and clean. Just needs a fire place so you can hang out in the evenings. Overall we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel all around, perfect LOCATION!! My only con: needs a coffee station for all coffee lovers that’s available 24/7 :)

Close to vineyards and Casa Frida, great customer service, comfy bed, great view, cute and modern casita. Only negative was no hot water at night.

This is a very convent located eco-friendly hotel. Very nice room with all amenities. It has an AMAZING VIEW in your wide-window. I loved the stay and I will definitely repeat. It is near 3 minute or less from Casa Frida and/or King&Queens. Great location.

Great

The staff was nice… not very helpful but nice.

Very cute property and great price! Will be awesome in summertime. In winter since the floors are concrete it’s super cold and the heater is hard to regulate so it’s either super cold or super hot. We did ask for an extra blanket the second night so that helped. Bring your slippers! Other than that great place. If you get one that has two rooms you can hear everything the other room is saying. But all in all 4.5 stars - I would stay again. We did not taste their wine so not sure about that. Friendly staff. Great dogs!!!

It was in winter so the grape vines are without their leaves but that is to be expected. The rooms are very comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

Lovely get away! very modern and private. Love the convenience of the restaurant and how close this property is to all wineries. I will absolutely be back.

The room was totally dirty, dirty sheets The TV never worked, I called to have it checked, they arrived they moved cables and it never worked Will not stay here again.

The room itself was gorgeous. That’s about it. The panoramic room was the entire attraction. The view was died remnants of grape vines. Everything on the grounds was dry. If you are between a few other options. Choose the other options you will thank me later. We spent $20 on a bottle of wine and it was below decent. Another important thing to mention was there is absolutely no WIFI in the room. Even if it is advertised once completing the booking, it is not true. I would not have booked the location if I knew. Room was clean, service was ok but because of the lack of amenities I will not be returning.

everything was good except we didnt take a shower cause there was only cold or super hot water. i reported it, maintance try to fix but didnt work. its real bad when you cant take a wrm shower.

Place is beautiful, location is really good, rooms are great, beds are very comfortable. I got the impression it's a relatively new place and there is room for improvement to have an even better experience. I'd definitely come back.

Great location and property. Kati and I have stayed many times and the staff and bungalows are awesome. Close to everything we like to do, yet quiet and private upon your return. On the West side which we really like as well with two options to arrive and depart Valle. It’s a top choice. Kati and George

Gorgeous property. Staff were very efficient and friendly. We had breakfast the next morning and it was FANTASTIC!!! Highly recommend!!!

It was such a peaceful place with a balcony view of the vineyard. There was a rain shower with an outdoor inset that provided privacy, but made you feel connected to the outdoors. The air conditioner didn’t work when we first checked in, but was working later in the night.

las habitaciones y el lugar bonito pero pésimo servicio y actitud de los que atienden, tampoco hay opciones para tomar siquiera un café antes de las 9.30 am

Stay was amazing, very peaceful. Down side was kitchen was closed was not able to eat there, Other places were near by so had dinner. Check in was easy, very kind staff!

Beautiful place very clean . But the staff could have been more attentive.
