Beautiful property.
Pffff !
I love the scenery here. It’s the perfect place to escape, relax, and truly recharge.
The room and common areas are a bit dark to me, but I think that’s intentional and part of the design.
Cảnh quan rất đẹp được chăm chút tỉ mẩn. Mình bị ấn tượng bởi cấu trúc, thiết kế ở nơi đây. Hoạt động đa dạng, cảm giác yên tĩnh bình yên

ADie Auswahl vom Restaurant.
breakfast was great... temperature in the entire property was uncomfortably warm .... Aircon in the room also did not cool enough even though weather was balmy... bar area, reception all felt uncomfortable... no place to sit in the room... no sofa or chair ... coffee in room sucked...
airconditioning not cooling sufficiently .... should have nespresso machines and pods in every room... staff courteous but service was slow generally...

This is a heavenly place. The building is quite new, but they some how they created the feeling of an ancient monastery or castle. The wooden doors and the numerous interesting features throughout the large complex, as well as in the rooms themselves, make it so interesting just to walk around. There is a huge Buddhist Temple on the grounds which could easily be missed if you didn't go to walking. Of course, the cable car and hike up the mountain is a huge feature but I myself didn't do it this time. I was content. Next time! The cafe/bar is a beautiful space with incredible art and lighting. Like anywhere, it's better when people (guests) aren't on their speaker phones (a worldwide rudeness these days) or the music managed by staff is appropriate. :) The outdoor pool is surrounded by nature and it really is a delight to be in the water there. The spa is set beautifully. The team are focused, caring and surrounded by the aura of the place. You can pay a small amount and have access to the sauna/steamroom and plunge pool. The plunge pool is designed as a rock pool and bubbles away while you mentally prepare to get in the cold water. The breakfast setting is luxurious and rich in variety and freshness. Was an entree for dinner, I had the mushroom soup and I couldn't write this review without mentioning it. It was delicious!!! All the staff deserve praise and even the young trainees impressed me with their enthusiasm and care.

Amazing service, food, accomodation, staff, facilities, location and activities. Highlights were, swimming, massage, gondola and walking up Yen Tu. Would highly recommend this to friends and family.
Legacy Yen Tu is one of those rare hotels where the architecture, landscape, and spiritual heritage feel genuinely integrated rather than staged. Everything here rewards curiosity! My daughter and I stayed for two nights and it was three nights too short! I absolutely loved the daily complimentary yoga class at 7am, the sound bowl meditation journey at 10 am and the 5pm Thai Chi…all facilitated by Hang, such a wonderful talented teacher! I also had a two hour steam room, body scrub and massage treatment in the spa. The spa in itself is a masterpiece of interior design and my therapist, Thao was extremely good and the treatment was one of the best I have ever had! The swimming pool and surrounds are pristine, our room with a view over the paddock and the black horses were quiet, spacious and totally comfortable. The breakfast was extremely varied and delicious! All the staff were always friendly, helpful and professional. We unfortunately did not have time to visit the stunning and big gym. We did do the cable car trips up to the Buddha statue and back to the hotel again, took us about two hours
Even despite the following, I still give Legacy Yen Tu 10/10 as it is an incredible place: The restaurant is way too expensive for the quality food available and there are no other places around to eat. The property can really make the culinary experience much better. The swimming pool’s temperature was very high. The staff’s command of English was a bit poor but it did not make anything difficult! The ‘village’ feels like a movie set and not authentic, so no need to even go there really.
I was genuinely impressed by the culinary experience here. From breakfast and dinner to the afternoon tea pastries and picnic snacks, every dish was beautifully prepared and full of authentic Vietnamese flavors. What I love most about Legacy Yên Tử is its attention to the smallest details. It wasn't just the magnificent architecture that left me in awe, but also the thoughtful decoration, carefully chosen amenities, and the truly personalized hospitality. During my 3D2N stay, I experienced the spa, onsen, meditation, and yoga sessions creating a journey that nourished both my body and my mind.

The resort has been planned and built very beautifully and is sensitive to cultural buddhist significance. Staff were informative and attentive. This has been my best stay in Vietnam.
Beautiful design and very peaceful surroundings that made you feel relaxed immediately. Food was amazing and pool area devine!

Yen Tu Mountain is one of Vietnam’s most spiritual and soul‑stirring destinations — a sacred Buddhist site that leaves a deep and lasting impression. Whether you spend half a day or a full day, the experience is incredibly rewarding. Hikers can take on the mountain by foot, while those wanting a more relaxed journey can enjoy the scenic cable car ride with breathtaking views. The site is perfect for travellers seeking spiritual enlightenment or meaningful cultural tourism, with additional experiences such as sleep meditation and a visit to the nearby local village, where friendly vendors offer an authentic glimpse into everyday Vietnamese life. The onsite restaurant also impressed with delicious local cuisine and warm, attentive service. A highlight of the trip was staying at Legacy Yen Tu – MGallery, an exceptional hotel that elevates the entire experience. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, delivering 5‑star‑plus service from start to finish. The property is a true mecca for wellness, featuring a world‑class wellness centre, serene zen‑inspired design, spacious rooms, and outstanding dining options. It’s the perfect place to unwind, reflect, and immerse yourself in the tranquillity of Yen Tu. A truly unforgettable experience - highly recommended for travellers seeking culture, spirituality, wellness, and authentic Vietnam.
We stayed at Legacy Yên Tử MGallery as ALL Silver status members and were deeply disappointed by the level of service — a stark contrast to what the MGallery brand promises. Check-in: We arrived at 13:15 and requested an early check-in. Despite our Silver status, no priority lane was offered and our request was denied. The only explanation given was that the hotel had been fully booked the previous night. The reception staff promised to notify us via WhatsApp as soon as our room was ready. That message never came. We later learned that other guests in the same room category had been admitted well before 15:00. We waited until exactly 15:00 — with two young children. Service attitude: The front desk team was noticeably unfriendly throughout. There was no acknowledgment of our Silver status whatsoever — no welcome gesture, no explanation, no apology. Check-out: We were not asked a single question about our stay. The only question from the receptionist was how we intended to pay. For a premium MGallery property, this falls well below the expected standard. The property itself is beautiful and the setting near Yên Tử mountain is stunning — hence the second star. But the service experience left much to be desired. I contacted Accor customer service immediately after check-out. After one week and two formal emails, I have yet to receive a substantive response — which is why I am now sharing this publicly.
Sehr stimmige Architektur.
Nha at the spa welcomed us upon arriving to book a future spa appointment during our stay. She went above and beyond to give us a tour and we ended up booking a beautiful couples treatment that included the baths and salt stone room, herbal treatment, massage, scrub, and herbal bath. It was the best spa experience we have ever had in our travels around the world. Nha gave me incredible treatment during the massage and my husband said Thao also gave him the best massage he’s ever had. We are quite impressed and very very pleased we booked and stayed here. Thank you Nha and Thao for taking such wonderful and thoughtful care for us and using your skills so well. This is a wonderful property.

Herzlichen Dank dafür an An :).
Such an amazing hotel with refined architecture. Our stay was amazing. We enjoyed participating in the activities proposed. Breakfast was also excellent.
RIEN
The most magical place to stay in this serene, beautiful location at the bottom of the Yen Tu Mountain. The design of the hotel was absolutely stunning, beautifully natural gardens, stunning pool. Would thoroughly recommend the spa treatments, incredible hot stone massage, foot massage. The pale pink marble spa area was unbelievable, salt sauna, steam room and huge jacuzzi pool, it is a huge, beautiful space. We loved the complimentary yoga, Qi gong and sound baths, the staff leading these activities were very knowledgeable and excellent, we felt so very relaxed. The food was delicious, huge buffet breakfast with a huge choice of western and Vietnamese dishes. One of our party is a coeliac and the waiting and kitchen staff were most helpful in accommodating her needs. We enjoyed cocktails in the bar every evening made by the most charming bar manager who really looked after us and made great drinks! We climbed the mountain to see the Buddha, temple and incredible views at the top. It is a challenging climb, very hot but a clear and stepped pathway, many stalls in the way up selling, food, water and sugar cane juice. Some beautiful, colourful butterflies en route too! We took the cable car down, stunning views! The rooms are enormous, beautifully styled in old Vietnamese style. Lovely bathrooms and products. Would totally recommend a stay at Yen Tu Legacy to soothe your mind, body and soul.
I had a wonderful experience at Legacy Yen Tu. Everything from the moment I arrived until I left a very positive impression. Especially at the hotel bar, Dat was incredibly attentive and helpful while I enjoyed my canapés. He shared stories about his travels throughout Vietnam with me. I really appreciate him. Hai was also very thoughtful and helpful. Thank you, Legacy, for a great experience. I will definitely return.
Breathtaking place with stunning gardens. Quiet and peaceful. Spa is next level good!
Nothing. It was perfect!
Incredible building and gardens Rooms are stunning and huge Contrary to some reviews i really liked the food and thought the staff were respectful and professional Loved the salt room sauna Close walk to the village with shops and restaurants that are lower in price but still ok Will definitely come again
There is a lot of families with children which can be loud would be great if the hotel had some section for only adult rooms for example I was surprised there is no salon in the hotel (for nails/hair)
Our first time in the MGallery Yen Tu, the hotel design, style and overall village style is very special. Perfect for a romantic trip. Front office are really helpful and efficient. Accor loyalty is awarded. Personnel are very kind and well trained. Room top cleaned, with an evening turn down. Location is prime. As for F&B, I advise to add bottled water for the evening lounge for elite members, instead of having tap water, in a glass smelling from milk. Another point, when there are more customers at breakfast for example on Sunday, there are issues for refilling fruits, water, drinks, food, etc etc. even egg station wasn't much working during that day.. There was no water that day from 9.30 .. Similar was Saturday. Basically, we didn't expect to come at 9.00-9.30 and find nothing to eat or drink, while closing was at 10.00.. F&B organization is in dire need to improve, even that some personnel were trying their best.. for example, during dinner, my wife's food came literally COLD! Hair from unknown origin in some bread during dinner, a spoon used to kill a fly was given to us at one breakfast with its dead fly. An F&B experience which we didn't expect at an Accor 5 stars and which is non compliant with the MGallery SOP.
Quá tối, k có đủ ánh sáng để make up
The style and design. The area. The facilities
Not sure I did not like smth
good stay, good line up of breakfast, main restaurant food was good. The pool was not stocked with ice ( so strange) only serve chill drinks from the fridge and it was hot day. The pool waiter Dat had to go out of his way to get me some ice, it was very good service of him. On Monday not sure how is the arrangement of the hotel, but no staff worked at the pool and all the towels were locked up . Overall good stay experience, I will come back.
I’ve been there a couple of times in the last two years, probably one the most relaxing places I’ve ever been. Starting from the room in a pure traditional setting (rooms don’t have as far as I know TVs, and it’s a huge plus honestly in this case) to the very well and unique design of this huge building that situated in the heart of Yen Tu. Many places to discover around the hotel and definitely worth exploring by foot, especially in the early hours when it’s not too hot. Breakfast and Dinner are just great for my taste, they have a good selection of both continental and Vietnamese dishes so you can choose whichever you prefer. The Spa is also really good, a therapist will help you find the right treatment for you while sipping warm tea. You can also enjoying pool, sauna and so on (even booking the the entire area for a little bit, I’d suggest that especially for couples). A proper magical experience especially during certain periods of the year.

beautiful property. Execellent location & staffs. Especially Mr Ngoc assistant of supervisor gives us a tour and explain to us about the facilities and the meaning of each design in the resort.

The property itself was stunning, the art, interiors, exteriors… couldn’t fault it! The location was great too
The reception staff unfortunately.. we checked in early and weren’t excepting the room to be ready, it wasn’t so we decided to go up the mountain, the receptionist offered to buy us tickets directly, but had issues with their printer and asked us to sit and wait while they fixed the printer, waited 20min and then I think he forgot about us, we asked if we could just buy tickets directly, he said yes as the printer still wasn’t fixed (which would have been a much easier suggestion from the get go)… when we got back to the hotel in the afternoon, we noticed our bags still sitting outside the foyer, so assumed our room wasn’t ready (as we never received a message either) but upon asking they confirmed our room was ready and awkwardly tried to walk our bag with us to the room, even though that wasn’t required (would have been more helpful to have offered the service upfront - taking it to the room, messaging us when ready etc). Overall, strange first interaction for an otherwise beautiful hotel.
My husband and I visited the Legacy Yen Tu in March. It is a destination resort about 3 hours away from Hanoi. The hotel is unbelievably grand. From the spacious lobby with attendants going to and fro in costumes from the 12th Century, to the soaring ironwood columns and prominant artwork everywhere, we were delighted in finding and booking this very special place. The hotel is fairly new, but is made to look like a very old, historic collection of buildings. Our room was just wonderful! We had a huge room with a spacious balcony. The bath area and toilet area were separate for privacy. The bed was very comfortable, too, and the room was quiet at night, except for one night when the frogs outdoors decided to carry on their springtime rituals far into the wee hours. We were looking for a hotel that would bring us closer to nature, and closer to the people of Vietnam. We couldn't have picked a better place! The village was full of shops and places to grab a bite to eat. We went to the evening performance the first night we arrived, and enjoyed the singing and dancing. Each night we ate in the hotel restaurant, and were served absolutely delicious food! The second day we took the cable cars up to the top of Yen Tu Mountain. It was during a festival, and many people were doing a pilgrimage along with us. So we got to see and meet friendly travelers, who greeted us warmly despite the language differences. The third day, the hotel arranged for us to have a driver take us to Ha Long Bay. This was only a one hour trip each way, and was a pleasant excursion in every way! A highlight of the trip was being shown around by Charlie and Kelly. From them we learned the history of the hotel, and how the main architecht, Bill Bentley, came up with the grand design after spending a couple of nights on the venerable slops of Yen Tu Mountain. It is impossible to explain the grand scale of this majestic resort either by words, or by photos. I give my 100% recommendation for anyone who loves nature, history, and luxury to give Legacy Yen Tu a visit.
Room was amazing. The property was beautiful.
The restaurant was more of a 9 than a 10. The level of English of the staff was more of an 8. Everything else was a 10.

We had a phenomenal stay at Legacy Yen Tu. The hotel is beautifully located near the spiritual Yen Tu Mountain, which invites you to explore a series of temples dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries. What truly stood out to us was the architecture and design of the hotel—it creates a calm, almost meditative atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and unwind. We also really appreciated the complimentary yoga and meditation sessions offered throughout the day. A special thank you to Hang and Anh, who were exceptional teachers and made the experience even more memorable. The historic hotel tour with Charlie was another highlight—insightful, engaging, and well worth it. This place is genuinely special, and we would absolutely love to return in the future.
A friend and I are riding bicycles from Hanoi to ha long Bay. We stayed at this hotel on our last night before entering ha long. This place is super cool. And then we went to the q quan Kim and lam waited on us -- best waiter in all of Vietnam.
Mọi thứ đều tốt
+ Excellent staffs (receptionist, cleaner, in restaurant as well) + Location: very convenience + Vibe
Except Price (maybe high season), higher than my previous trip much...

Legacy of Yen Tu was amazing off the bat. They accommodated our family with early check-in with elderly parents and baby. Thank you Mr Ngoc (Charlie) at Accor made life so much easier! The entire complex is so scenic that it’s relaxing as you take in the nature and architecture. We finished our stay at the lounge and were blown away by the service! We couldn't have felt more cared for! Thank you Dat and Anh for making our afternoon so memorable! Thank you from the Cao/Vuong family
We had a wonderful holiday. Everything was amazing and excellent. We definitely will return in the near future.
Beautiful spa, great massage.
Kids in the bar.
Very nice place in a great area! A holy mountain is located very near. Meditation and Tai Chi cases with Hand were amazing!
