Perfect location nice clean friendly hotel family run . Nice breakfast spread would highly recommend

We stayed as friends with teenage daughters. The accommodation was beautiful (we had a two bed with terrace and hot tub), the apartment was clean and with everything you could need. Nikolas and his family were welcoming, warm and super helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and they had thought of everything that you might need in your room. Breakfast was amazing, lots to choose from- cakes, spinach pies, Greek yoghurt and fruit with lots more. Location was beautiful, walking distance to town and the beach. Safe and quiet at night. Easy access to the local bus for trips to Fira, Red Beach and Oia for 2€. We would love to return :)

What a lovely little hotel with the most amazing helpful staff. This is a family owned hotel and will assist in anything you want if they can. Thank you for an amazing stay even though it was only short.

Hotel was lovely. Only a short walk into the beach. Staff were so friendly and were happy assisting with airport transfers/check in delays. Would 100% recommend this hotel.

Nicholas and his grandma were so attentive to me and my family they could not have been kinder. It is a beautifully family run hotel and has a lovely traditional Greek feel about it.

The hotel is family owned and the owner is onsite. Nicholas was amazing with all the check in details and helping us throughout our stay with local recommendations. Our room had a hot tub which the kids used in the evening. The hotel is walking distance to the Kamari beach.

The staff was welcoming and catered to our needs. The facility was spotless. Breakfast was great with lots of options.

A great 6 night stay at the Agean Gem. Attentive, welcoming staff. Clean, comfortable room. Very good breakfast. Plenty of eateries close by, Fistikies was a great recommendation. Hope to return again.

Wonderful hotel, and staff. Within walking distance of beach, shopping and restaurants.

Great family run business. Immediately felt welcoming by the staff. Rooms are super clean and beds really comfortable. Theres also a large amount of amenities such as shampoo, shower gel, moisturiser etc. The hotel is also a stones throw away from the main strip and beach. A 5 min walk you'll be by the beach with tonnes of resuturants/bars which usually offer sundbeds if you purchase something. All in all, great stay and highly recommend.

Great little family run hotel 5-7 mins walk from Kamari beach, 2 mins from restaurants & mini markets. 7-8 mins to closest local bus stop to Fira. We had a king & a single bed, the room was modern & spacious with a simple but very tasteful decor. Espresso machine & empty fridge were useful. AC wa nice & cold once on awhile. We had a jacuzzi & a lovely very private patio area with seats but the weather was too hot in July for hot tubs! The pool area is small with around 6 deck chairs & 4 bean bag chairs but it was never too crowded when we were there. Beach /pool towels provided which is handy. Theres an outdoor shower & toilet too. Breakfast had a good selection of fresh fruit, greek yoghurt (with the best cherry compote), cold cheeses/meats, scrambled eggs & bacon, boiled eggs, pastries, toast etc which they refreshed as it emptied & as vegetarians we had lots of options. Theres a few seats by the pool & more seating upstairs in a large balcony (could do with being signposted as took us a few mornings to discover this area). The owners especially their grandson Nikolas were very helpful & he has great English so not knowing any greek wasnt a problem! Will definitely recommend it to others & hopefully someday return.

Owned by the sweetest family! Such a beautiful property that was walking distance to the heart of Kamari. Highly suggest staying at Aegean Gem! Kamari has so much to offer & the perfect spot to have a relaxing trip in Santorini, with buses that make other areas on the island easily & affordably accessible.

It’s exactly what it says a Gem! A family run hotel & Nicholi on reception was lovely, nothing was too much trouble for him & always with a smile! I would recommend this hotel 100%, perfect!

We have just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay at the Aegean Gem Hotel in Kamari, Santorini. The hotel is exactly as it says; a gem! From check in to check out Nikolas made us feel welcome. On arrival we were offered a welcome drink, and then shown to our suite. The Grace Suite was exactly as described. It had a modern sleek design. Equipped with all you could need for your stay (kettle, Nespresso machine, hairdryer, fridge, toiletries, USB charging ports, iron etc). AirCon in the room was excellent, and made the evenings very comfortable. Our suite also featured a sunbathing patio with a small pool. Although our pool was very warm, it was a really nice addition to the room, and a great alternative to the main pool or beach. The main pool was a perfect temperature to cool off during the heat of the day. The pool has around 8 comfortable sun beds to lay on, as well as additional table seating. Bar menu features a nice selection of food and drink at very reasonable prices. Breakfast could either be eaten on the sun terrace or around the pool. We opted for the sun terrace. There was a great selection of hot and cold food served (Greek yoghurt, toast, cereal, pastries etc). A great start to the day. Nikolas helped us with airport transfers and using the islands bus service. The bus service is fairly infrequent, and it is not possible to access most areas of the island by a direct bus. Airport transfers were very quick and easy, costing €25 each way.

This is a perfect boutique hotel, amazing rooms, we had a room with a hot tub, gorgeous modern and simple decor, everything is first class. Great location for the beach and amenities. The best thing is Nikolas and all of the staff/family running the hotel. So friendly and very very helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend to families, couples or if travelling alone. We will definitely return.

My family and I had a brilliant stay at Aegean Gem. It’s a small, family run hotel and it’s lovely. We stayed in one of the suites. The hotel is super clean and our suite was really spacious. It’s about 5-10 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. Kamari is a lovely chilled resort. Must say a big thanks to Nikolas and Mary at the hotel. They are both so friendly and welcoming and just very lovely people. It was a pleasure to stay at your beautiful hotel. Thanks again Sara & Family x

Todella positiivinen kokemus. Henkilökunta oli erittäin miellyttävä, kuten perheomisteisesta hotellista voi olettaa. Meillä oli mukana 2 lasta ja huoneessa oli hyvänkokoinen ulkopatio, jossa myös poreamme. Kaksi erillistä huonetta oli plussaa. Palvelut esim. ravintolat, pesulapalvelut, autovuokraamo jne. ovat lähellä. Sopivan rauhallinen alue ja kuitenkin muutaman minuutin päässä rantakadulta. Henkilökunta auttoi lentekenttäkuljetusten varaamisessa ja varasi meille erikseen pyydettyjä ravintoloista pöydät. Näitä ravintolasuosituksia kannattaakin henkilökunnalta kysyä. Hyvä aamiainen. I stayed at Aegean gem for 3 nights during mid July 2022. If you are looking for a hotel in Kamari (Santorini), I highly recommend this hotel. Not only is the hotel gorgeous, it’s brand new! They opened in 2018 and are owned and operated by a family. The customer service received was exceptional. Nikolas went above and beyond for us. he took care of all of our excursion, taxis and transfers. He gave many recommendations for restaurants and things to do in Kamari and surrounding areas. The hotel is located 5 minutes walking distance from the Main Street and is much quieter than the Main Street. This was a big deal for my friend and I, as we wanted to be able to relax.

This was a perfect little boutique hotel that has an amazing staff that is attentive, knowledgable and extremely friendly. The location is a small walk to the beach and other areas. The rooms are lovely and the pool is a perfect size. Everything was great here and we were made to feel like family. Nikolas made us feel so welcome and was always there to answer our questions. If we go back to Santorini, we will definitely stay here again and I would recommend it to anyone.

The Agean Gem is truly a gem! We had an amazing stay here with our family. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and we loved the hot tubs and folding doors that opened wide to give access to the patio. It is family-owned and Nikolas and his family went above and beyond with their hospitality. Their breakfast buffet is delicious and the hotel is located a short walk from Kamari beach as well as many nice restaurants. We highly recommend and will definitely be returning next time we visit Santorini.

L'hôtel en lui même n'est pas mal, récent et propre, et le personnel est très gentil. Par contre l'environnement n'est vraiment pas top, avec vue sur une basse cour et un terrain vague depuis le balcon de la chambre. La piscine est petite, il n'y a pas de bar, etc. De plus il est précisé que l'hôtel propose une navette aéroport, mais en fait elle est payante (25€). A 90 ou 100€ la nuit, pas de problème. Mais certainement pas à 180€, prix que nous avons payés pour une chambre de base. Il y a beaucoup mieux dans le coin pour tel prix.

Excellent hotel, friendly staff, great service. The hotel is a short walk from the bus stop and the beach. The rooms are furnished to a high standard and had views of the mountain. The staff went out their way to help with anything we asked and the atmosphere of the hotel was great with it being family run.

Mary est d'une gentillesse et d'un grand professionalisme et donne énormément à chaque client tant en conseil qu'en accueil. Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable. Great holiday with the family. Hotel was extremely clean and welcoming. It is a family run hotel , and they couldn’t do enough for you. Very spacious modern rooms , very comfortable. Jacuzzi on private balcony a bonus. Highly recommend.

This is a true Aegean Gem! Mary was such a warm and welcoming host and we were truly delighted with our room and the lovely facilities. There is so much attention to detail and the breakfasts were superb too. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. The location is great too whether you are traveling around or just want the pool or the beach.

Beautiful hotel with incredibly accommodating, friendly, welcoming staff. It is beautifully architected and furnished and has such a welcoming atmosphere from the full-time staff who is able to get you set up with delicious dinner reservations and activities. The hotel is located a 5 min walk from one of the best beaches in Santorini and is only a 15 min taxi ride to Oia and all the other spots on the island. It's in not too touristy of an area which is great to be able to pop into Oia but avoid the crowds of tourists as well.

Truly a “Gem”. There are far too many fantastic things to say about this perfect Santorini accommodation. We had 8 amazing days here and would definitely recommend this property. Location: 10 - easy stroll to the boardwalk of Kamari Beach. Safe clean area. Staff: 10 - from quickly answered pre-stay mails to Mary regarding our staggered arrivals, her concierge service of providing airport pickup and shuttle, moped rentals, restaurant reservations and recommendations, the cleaning staff and the attentive service of Mikas (sp?) by the pool. I felt like I was truly being taken care of. Rooms: 10- large, modern, clean, well appointed with fridge, coffee, large towels and beauty products. True attention to details for comfort. And did I say CLEAN? So nice and clean. I can honestly say this was the nicest hotel and hotel experience I have ever had and I can’t thank the team at family owned and operated Aegean Gem for the incredible experience. There is no doubt we will be back and recommend this to anyone heading to Santorini

The hotel is family run. The entire staff was genuinely friendly. They were so incredibly helpful and attentive. They were less than 5 minutes walking to the beach/boradwalk as well. And even shorter walk to the bus station. Absolutely loved staying here and we were especially sad to go.

J’ai aimé le jacuzzi privatif sur la terrasse, la propreté de l’hôtel, le personnel très serviable, la proximité avec la plage et tous les commerces (magasins, restaurants,...).

Sehr herzlicher Empfang , wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Gesamtes Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir hatten dort eine sehr schöne Woche. Jeden Morgen Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse. An der Poolbar gab es immer Snacks zum Drink.

We had a wonderful stay. Mary and Yiayia Mary were wonderful. They met all of our needs and Ben included ya in the Greek Easter dinner. Celebrated with Paupu George dancing. Was just wonderful. Can’t wait to go back and visit. You are treated as one of the family ❤️❤️

This hotel is run by two VERY friendly and accommodating staff/owners. Spiros and his aunt were such a pleasure everyday, in addition to being helpful and kind. Our hotel was only a 5-minute walk from the beach and around fantastic beach front restaurants. The hotel is also close to the bus stop which takes you to Fira (15 minute ride). All in all, a PERFECT place to stay in terms of location, staff, and the enjoyment of a beach and relaxation. We have to admit we fell in love with Spiros and his aunt too :)

This hotel is just the most amazing place to stay. It has everything for a relaxing holiday. However, even more than that, the family members that own and run it are the loveliest people you will ever meet. They could not do enough for us and wanted everything to be perfect for us. We will definitely go back and highly recommend it.
