Narrow roads a bit scary

Total tranquility, beautiful property and rooms. Hosts looked after us very well, recommend the bear for a steak meal that was lovely. Awsome breakfast in the morning, definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely hosts. Very accommodating, made us a vegan breakfast and provided non dairy milk, yoghurt etc. Amazing rural location, super quiet and beautiful scenery.

Room comfortable. Breakfast good. Sarah and her husband v hospitable. However worth guests knowing this is a family house with 2 young boys. They were v well behaved but visitors should be made aware you are staying in a family house.

Paul & Sarah were very friendly hosts. The accommodation was very clean and in a beautiful setting in the countryside. Electric vehicle charger was a plus.

The property is set in the country side with magnificent view all around, a little of the main road and accessed buy country lanes ample parking a warm welcom by the hoist Sarah, we had a lovel;y room upstairs very spacious with a nice comfortable bed and on su-suit bathroon ( in our room a shower) Breakfast was served downstairs in the morning a freshly cooked Welsh breackfast in our case but other options available plus fruit juce and fresh fruit yogurt etc. We were onlt there one night but would thoroughly recomend it and hope to return soon.

The windows were small in our room so we couldn’t make the most of the view and as it’s in the roof it was hot but this was the hottest week in June! Everywhere was warm

Quiet location with stunning views. Room was comfortable. Great breakfast and Paul and Sarah are super friendly - the outdoor space to sit in is breathtaking.

Nothing not to like - only potential problem is that it is down really narrow country lanes (might not suit all people). The room we had was at the top of the house so two flights of stairs - again no issue but could be problematic for some.

Paul hosted and was very welcoming. Clean, comfortable room. . The views from the double aspect bedroom windows were wonderful. Would certainly book again when we come to the Brecon Beacons.

Gorgeous location. Nicely kept cottage. Paul is welcoming and friendly. The smoked salmon breakfast was outstanding.

Bathroom is quite compact in the attic. We enjoyed the circular roads connecting the cottage to Abergavenny. However, It can be challenging for fresher drivers, especially those not accustomed to the UK country roads.

We hebben een heerlijke wandeling gemaakt in de omgeving want die is adembenemend mooi! Je hebt wel een auto nodig! Ook was er een fijne lounge waar we gebruik van mochten maken..Top! een 10!

Paul and Sarah were so hospitable and outgoing that it made me think I was staying at a relatives' place. I probably had the best room in the house, light, spacious and perfectly comfortable to relax after day-time hiking adventures. Lovely breakfast with a hillside view. Sheep singing baa-lullabys in the twighlight. A truly delightful stay lost amidst of Brecon Beacons paradise

Bit hard to find but worth the effort and great hosts and nice room

We had a really warm welcome from Paul and Sarah. They are delightful hosts. Delicious breakfast, comfortable bed, great views, perfect for walking up hills like Sugar Loaf.

There are other rooms in the house that are used for B and B and another time we might ask about that. The room was spotless and lovely but even if you aren't particularly tall it is hard to use the toilet upright under the eaves.

Sarah & Paul were amazing hosts, and the views from the farm are unmatched. The room was really well presented and comfortable, and the breakfasts were great. A packed lunch was provided too for my hike up Sugarloaf, and the Welsh cakes were second to none. Really helpful recommendations for eating out, and anything you needed was no trouble at all. I've travelled all over the world, and you'd be hard pushed to find a warmer welcome!

The room was super comfortable and the views from both sides were beautiful. The hosts were so nice and welcoming, they really made us feel at ease and at home. We followed their recommendations for places to eat and everything they recommended was fantastic! The breakfasts were also exceptional.

There was no shampoo or shower gel in the bathroom, which was fine because we had accidentally bought some with us - we did think it was unclear whether this would have been provided.

Celyn Farm House B&B is owned and run by hosts Paul and Sarah. They are extremely welcoming and attentive to satisfy the needs of their guests. Breakfast was incredible. It's tucked away in the wonderful Black Mountain hills. Our room was very clean tidy and cozy. Great Views ...

De kamer bevindt zich onder het dak. Omwille van veel schuine wanden stootte je je hoofd dikwijls. De badkamer is erg klein, met schuine wanden en piepkleine lavabo. Geen mogelijkheid om handdoeken te drogen omdat radiators niet werken.

Quiet, peaceful, lovely views, very tastefully presented, comfortable and clean. I had a bath and a shower, robes included. Good coffee, nice breakfast with decent produce and friendly service.

Really enjoyed our two night stay. Amazing breakfast and hosts. Super peaceful and beautiful surroundings in the middle of the countryside. Will definetely be back if we visit Brecon Beacons again.

The hosts Paul, Sarah, and their boys were incredibly welcoming and attentive. They made us feel right at home and gave us some great recommendations on what to see and do. The house was beautifully kept, comfortable, and have everything that you need. The bath was perfect after a big day hiking Sugarloaf Mountain (which the property overlooks) and the bed super comfortable. We loved how remote the place felt and enjoyed driving or hiking the local area to explore. A very serene getaway if you’re needing to escape the city!

Fantastic location, the facilities are top notch, the couple that run the place are the friendliest and most accommodating, and the breakfasts were great.

The only thing that can be said is the single track roads to get there can be tricky, but that’s what you expect for a remote countryside getaway.

Paul and Sarah are great hosts. You feel very welcome in their fantastic home. The room is very spacious with all comfort. We loved the terras with a stunning view. It is 15-20 min drive to a restaurant but in return you get the amazing silence of the countryside.
