The staff were warm and welcoming, always smiling and happy to help with any questions. Any requests I made were promptly attended to. Clean, comfortable, peaceful and great facilities - car parking with validation not too far away and overall there is nothing I would change. Katriana was super memorable - thanks for everything.
We stayed for a week. The reassuring thing about Premier Inns is that you know you’re going to have an excellent room and bed. Good staff service isn’t always guaranteed but in this case, it was welcoming and friendly. One particular feature I loved was the pitcher of fresh cold water that was available at reception. It avoided me having to buy bottled water and saved on plastic. I am completely against plastic use so this is great. More hotels should offer this. The only thing that I would like improved is the room cleaning service in between check in and check out. It wasn’t as thorough as I would have liked. Other than that, excellent.
Dee my breakfast magician looked after me so so well. I have a mushroom allergy and she cooked my breakfast from a standing start. Thank you. Also a beautiful smile!
Attended a party at The Pavilion Hotel, the DJ was top-notch, the atmosphere was on point, and the venue is a great place to be. Didn't stay the night, but overall looks like their events/party nights are well worth a look.
Great experience staff were lovely Dee is a great chef and happy go personality Thanks for keeping the atmosphere warm and inviting Will be back again!
Location appears a lot more pleasant that where it actually is. When i arrived, I couldn't access the area due to police blocking entrances to the road as there was an 'incident' which was code for them running about everywhere after youths who had been stealing in local shops! Car park local and decent rate as hotel client but had reservations in leaving my car in there. Room was clean and tidy but smelt of old tobacco which never went despite me spraying deodorant and after shave everywhere. I thought about complaining but it was late in the evening and i was only there for one night and it was clean (albeit dated). I only saw one member of staff whilst i was there and that was to get my car park ticket validated in the morning. I went for a walk to find something to eat and to be honest, I felt a little uncomfortable with the location of the hotel and surrounding streets. I will not unfortunately stay in this particular hotel again.
was a lovely stay cat the manger was very helpful and made my stay very welcome ty
Clean and very good sized room. Very good shower/bath too. Quite . Excellent bed/mattress. Location very good too and parking Option very good too. (Free between 17.50hrs and 09.30hrs; the rest at very reasonable rates)
Breakfast was absolutely lovely fresh, hot and served by very helpful staff I especially want to say thank you so much to chef Breda for the delicious breakfast and to Katerina for being so helpful during breakfast service
Can't recommend Premier Inn Orpington highly enough. Sobia and Jay were absolutely brilliant. So kind and helpful. Wonderful staff, great breakfast and comfortable rooms.
Excellent customer services by Sobia. Highly recommended Premier inn Orpington
Safe clean and welcoming hotel.
I am nearly 80 years old with slight mobility problems. I was unable to check in at 14:08 having flown in from Cyprus. for a stay of 3 nights. Apparently this
Had a good experience there. Sobia was very helpful and always had a smile on her face. I lost my room key and she made me another one instantly. The breakfast service was also great. Recommended for a comfortable stay.
New to me the self check in which was easy to navigate. Staff on hand in case of any problems. Staff pleasant and helpful as always. Room clean and spacious. Tea and coffee facilities in room, which you can top up yourself from a stand in reception. Bed comfortable. Close to all amenities.
I had a wonderful time with my friends. The location is excellent everything is close by the staff were fantastic, very friendly and welcoming!
There was no one there when I went to check in so I had to use the machine. On first entering our room, there was a weird smell so we put on the air con as the windows couldn't open. I noticed that there were only 2 mugs when we were a family of 3 so I had to collect an extra one from reception. One of the towels had a small red stain on it, probably shouldn't have used it but i did. We stayed for 3 nights and that was good value for what we paid. Its in a good location and there is shops right next to it. Breakfast was excellent, there was so much on offer. It was a clean hotel bar a few issues and it was a pleasant stay.
I had a really enjoyable stay at Premier Inn. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made for a great night’s sleep. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout, and everything felt well organised and stress-free. Excellent value for money and exactly what you hope for from a Premier Inn. I’d happily stay again and would definitely recommend it.
Staff are friendly and are always happy to help you and thefood os very good. It has acces to get transport links and their is loads of food resturants.
Dorothy, the chef, is incredibly friendly and provides amazing customer service every time we visit for breakfast. She really makes the experience special, and the food is always delicious.
Porfect , nice staff. Friendly. Delishes food , room alvaysclean, reception always happy to help with everything good ,
I had planned to host a meeting at the Premier Inn Orpington but was disappointed to find, once again, that the restaurant area was not properly lit. Given that this is winter and it gets dark early, the space was effectively pitch black, which made the environment feel unwelcoming and inappropriate for a professional meeting. Seeing someone working at a computer in near darkness, along with several children sitting in the area, raised concerns around safety and general standards. Adequate lighting should be a basic expectation, particularly in shared public spaces. Unfortunately, this experience meant I could not proceed with my plans. Based on this, I would recommend considering the Bromley location instead, which has consistently provided a more suitable and comfortable environment.
Lovely stay, very comfy bed and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
Good location, nice and quiet. Staff were friendly. Good price. Didn’t eat at hotel but food looked good. Lots of happy guests.
My experience here at the Premier lodge has always been good. Dee the head chef was brilliant... All credit to your organisation. She certainly delivers! Best wishes Chris P
Premier Inn had the most friendly and helpful staff which certainly made our stay special. Breakfast was really lovely and as much as you could eat.
Great stay! The rooms were spacious, modern and very clean. Price was affordable. Location was perfect, with easy access to buses and trains for going up to London. Heating/AC worked very efficiently. But the highlight was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff we encountered. Everyone was very welcoming, Dorothy cooks the tastiest breakfast! It’s a budget hotel with 5* staff!
Really nice staff, relaxing visit above all Dorothy (the chef) made our day. Very good stay, the environment was welcoming, professional and all round great servi
Food and service was very good, special mention to Dorothy the chef who always welcomed you with a smile. Nice breakfast too.
I was shopping in Orpington and fancied some breakfast, thought I’d try Premier Inn breakfast, I was greeted by a very professional young lady called Ellie, who took my payment and showed me to a table and explained all I needed too know, whilst helping myself to my buffet breakfast, I asked the chef for some freshly cooked eggs, a very nice/professional Irish lady called Breda, who told me “give me a couple of minutes “ and I had my freshly cooked eggs, Brilliant. A young guy, Jay came over and asked if my food was ok. Thank you all for a brilliant breakfast/experience.
The breakfasts were always lovely. The chef, Dorothy is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a very good size and beds are comfortable
We had breakfast on three occasions during our stay. These were the the very best I’ve ever experienced at Premier Inn. I’ll be back. It is patently obvious that DOROTHY the chef, is extremely conscientious and proud of her work. She was smart, polite, prepared the foods professionally, displaying it invitingly. Premier Inn management should make every effort to retain her services because she is a credit to herself and the company.
I’d like to express my appreciation for Dorothy the chef at this Premier Inn. Her breakfast is delicious and she is so helpful. All of the staff I’ve met at this PI are delightful.
The breakfast was lovely. The chef, Dorothy, greeted me with a huge smile. I had to say to her, what a beautiful smile to see first thing in the morning. The service of staff was wonderful. The customer service made it extra special. Dorothy, keep that beautiful smile! Thank you!!
The location was amazing. Very friendly atmosphere. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Definitely definitely value for money. There was no noise. The breakfast was very tasty Dorothy (chef) did a very good job. Absolutely great.
Great central location. Room up to usual standard - clean and comfortable, nice and quiet considering the location. Typical Premier Inn value. Breakfast, prepared by Dorothy, the chef, very tasty and cooked properly. She also checked me in for breakfast and was extremely helpful and friendly.
We had breakfast at the premier inn Orpington and Dorothy was the chef. Excellent service, very friendly and professional.
Great hotel for a stop over to visit family nearby. We have stayed a number of times before & the staff were as always friendly and really helpful.
Check in was quick and the staff were so friendly. Had dinner with family and the food was amazing. When we checked into our room and there was colouring and pencils with chocolate for the children. This was a lovely touch from the team. Thank you again
Very clean, spacious, comfortable room with a great central location. Reception staff were friendly, professional and helpful. Car park is very close in the nearby multi storey attached to the shopping centre.
Aksana is an incredible asset to this site. Always smiling, helpful and incredibly hardworking. I'm a frequent guest at this site. Location is great transport wise and for food. Rooms are clean, smart tv is a bonus!
The staff have are always so helpful and accommodating anytime I have stayed. They always have a smile and happy to help :)
I had a wonderful stay here, All the staff were kind and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone!
Stayed in Orpington lovely location and the breakfast was spot on for a proper start to the day. The room was really spacious, had a great night’s sleep with the aircon on. Everything was clean and cosy just right! staff were very helpful and friendly!
Great hotel, great staff and real comfy bed. My stay was very enjoyable. The hotel is well managed and clean. The staff were all friendly and couldn't do enough to help us out.
In advance, hotel team member Ellie helpfully allocated me a quietly-positioned room (and it was, thank you) and gave me a cheerful welcome on arrival. The room was in accordance with the hotel's standards of cleanliness, including the bedding and bathroom. The parking arrangement with the nearby Walnuts multi-storey car park is always appreciated, along with the convenience of shops and cafés in the immediate area. All encountered staff were pleasant and helpful, including above-mentioned Ellie. It became apparent that on entry and at each return to the room (318), it had a consistently musty smell. At the end of each day when I returned to it, it was necessary to turn on the air-con' full-blast to clear the air and the background smell but it had only returned by the end of the day on re-entry. The bathroom was ok. The room was a so-called Quad Room, having a double bed and two divans which could be made up to single beds. I can only suppose that the room has either been heavily used by parties of four or that some kind of human (or animal pet) "accident" had previously occurred there and lastingly impregnated the bed or general furnishings with the remaining dank smell. When I returned home, I still needed to air all my clean clothes and luggage to eliminate pervasive odour. On this occasion and unlike after other stays, I was very glad to leave.
I visited Premier Inn Orpington to see my friends. Check in was so quick and in that little time the team member told me everything I needed to know. In a room was massive bed and so comfortable really had good night sleep. In a morning I went to have some breakfast for £10.99 you can eat as much you want that's such a good price. I really loved my stay and definitely will be coming back.
Cold room, bed too high, sealed windows make you feel caged in, no loo brush, no adjustable shower head, no propper loo roll, not enough towels for 2, no free parking before 6pm. All in all it is i imagine what a prision must feel like. Having said that the staff were lovely.
As per usual Premier got everything right.Airy, clean room, comfy bed, clean and well stocked.Breakfast was tasty, plentiful and reasonably priced.Staff were friendly and helpful ( they saved property I had left there).Excellent stay.
We came and stayed in the Premier from Friday 18th till Sunday 20th. The service was excellent the food was excellent and the beds were comfortable Jay and Katerina were so helpful with anything we needed our stay was very enjoyable thankyou
Hotel was quiet and well located, bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and had everything I needed. Was warm in the room and bedding was soft and inviting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection was great, plenty of food to choose from. Would stay here again!
Very convenient for work and an utter delight to use. The staff are brilliant and nothing is to much trouble to ensure the best stay for their guests. All the team are deserving off praise but special mention to Jay who went above and beyond to help me plan a trip on the underground, top man thank you so much! After years in retail I can honestly say these guys know how to look after customers.
Stayed at this hotel for two nights. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious and plentiful. Parking was surprisingly cheap with the hotel discount, just make sure you validate your ticket at reception before you leave. We travelled into London which was easy and just 25 minutes on the train. Will definitely stay again.
Stayed for 4 nights the bed was comfortable the breakfast was amazing and we really took advantage of the buffet, everyone was so polite, the people at the front desk was very helpful getting me an iron and icey water whenever it was needed overall a great stay
Stayed here for a weekend with my 2 children, was very happy with the experience and the staff was very friendly which made the stay easy for myself and kids as they felt comfortable. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you to all the staff
firstly be aware, there are no open windows so the air is being recycled and it’s not healthy or comfortable to stay in the room for long periods. the staff are hardly to be found, took ages to be seen to get checked in and every morning for breakfast i would have to wait a while for someone to cross my name off the list. there is no eggs available so that marketing option is a lie. the shower is not powerful at all. honestly the least you could have done is have windows that open even 5 cm, it’s so awful that’s there’s no fresh air at all. it’s really difficult for people like me who suffer with asthma and anxiety. there was only one person who genuinely seemed to care and that was the black lady chef (im so sorry i didn’t get your name) but i really am so appalled with this stay. was not worth anything over £100 and i paid over £200, i got mugged of my money.
The purple palace is what it is and was perfect for our needs. A bargain at the price we paid this time, although we have paid more previously. Breakfast was plentiful and hot, the room clean and had everything we needed for a quick one night stop over
Good hotel, nice decor, very clean, decent size rooms, comfortable bed, pleasant staff and excellent location. Travel to London Bridge Station by train took around 20 minutes by the fast train and 35 minutes on the slower one. Would definitely consider staying there again.
Stayed here for the first time at the beginning of January, I was impressed with the customer service I received from the lovely two ladies who worked in the evening. Check in was welcoming and she was very chatty. Had dinner in the restaurant and the food was cooked to a good standard. Nothing to complain about here :) The room was clean, it could do with fresh coat of paint..
I really love my stay at premier inn Orpington. The room was nice no clean. Check in was quick and easy. Staff was really helpful.Hotel is on high street so there is a lot shops near. I had a breakfast and dinner and it was really delicious. Looking forward to visit again .
Brilliant hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Food was lovely, we chose the meal deal which was very good value for money. Our room at the end of the corridor was very quiet and exceptionally clean. We visited family but will definitely use this hotel again!
