King Maron Beach Hotel & Spa

This it was our second vacation at King Maron in 2025. It was perfect. Thank you for creating such beautiful memories for us!!

Everything was almost perfect. The cleanliness of the room was almost ok, I mean, the bath tube edges were yellow-ish/black-ish in some places and lamps nearby bed had some dust on them and one of those didn't even worked.

Excellent service, warm welcome from wonderful people, impeccable cleanliness in every space owned by this property, delicious food. 10 out of 10 with congratulations and thanks for all the attention we received throughout our stay.

I had the pleasure of spending 7 magnificent days at this hotel. (August 9-16). Except for the fact that we were accommodated after check-in time, and I personally did not like the beach, the entrance to the water, the hotel staff, they did EVERYTHING to make us feel good. I want to thank the Hotel Manager, who was omnipresent, the receptionists, the waiters, the pool team, the maids, and last but not least the chefs and the head chef. All the staff smiled at you and were interested in your wishes. A well-knit team that knows how to give you that wow. THANK YOU FROM THE HEART AND I HOPE TO SEE YOU AGAIN

We spent our first family vacation at the King Maron and brought back some truly wonderful memories. The hotel, the atmosphere, and the team are simply like being on another planet. Everything is peaceful, serene, loving, and understanding. We are so grateful and happy that we discovered this hotel. We are planning our next stay there soon. True 4* hotel. Big and very clean rooms, tasty food, international and greek, the pool was very nice and clean. The view was breathtaking. Staff well trained, always smiling and helpful. Thank you King Maron for making our vacation unforgettable. We will definitely come back next year. Truly recommend

Personel güler yüzlü ve ilgili. Kahvaltısı çok güzel. A la carte restoranın yemekleri, lezzet olarak ortalamanın kesinlikle altında ama porsiyonlar iyi. Sakinliğini çok sevdim, tekrar gitmek isteyebileceğim bir yer.

Special hotel makes you feel relaxed and comfortable in a family like environment. I cant even mention a negative point bc when you tell an issue to the staff they solve it quickly. Had a very nice chat with the “big” chef and hotel manager which made us friends quickly 🙏 we enjoyed beach and pool those very very clean and pleasant. Cafe and restaurant not pricy as well despite the open sea view. Finally the large open buffet breakfast was full of high quality delicious food. I also enjoyed to watch stars and milky way felt me part of this universe with the sound of waves at the beach. Such a wonderful experience 💜

Bir de yataklar çok küçüktü ve sadece üstünde çarşaf vardı keşke bir pike yorgan bir şey olsaydı dolabın içine konan battaniye bana hiç hijyenik gelmedi onun dışında çevre çalışanlar her şey harikaydı

Best hotel services! Personel of hotel are very well prepared, friendly, makes you feel as home :). SPA massage is the best. Sofia have magical hands and is a very good and kind person. Do not miss the massage! It make you feel like you are în heaven. The pool and beach area are very well organized. You can enjoy them without any concern. The food from hotel restaurant is the best on the zone. Congrats to the Chef! The hotel is very clean which is the bigest point for the stayng. It's a piece of heaven where you can really relax and recharge your "batteris". The description in one word is RECOMMEND!!!!

I and my husband are about to leave King Maron Hotel after 13 fantastic days of relaxation, comfort and wellbeing. I am a frequent traveller and used to different hotel environments. Therefore I would like to point out the very friendly atmosphere, making one feeling very welcome, that was mainly created by the the fantastic staff. Sonja, Stella and Yannis at the reception, Sophia, the masseur with truly magical hands and skills (which I recommend deeply as she managed to untie several stress knosts in my neck). The Chef, who was checking on the breakfast counters making sure that nothing was missing etc, etc. All of them are headed by Lia the Hotel Manager. Lia runs the hotel in a most skillful way, and she is obviously the one setting the tone of the staff´s amicability and keeping the high standards of the hotel. The hotel has a very good location facing the sea from a small hill. The rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable and impeccably clean. The breakfast offers a variety of dishes and the possible combinations of food are endless. The private beach is as natural it can be. It has not been destroyed by various touristic things, and the absolutely best thing about it - apart from the clean water - is that there is no music from loudspeakers making it possible for everyone to actually relax. The beach is environmentally protected meaning that no alterations of it can be done which I am greatly thankful for. The beach pebbles and stones making the water grea, clean and transparent. I recommend the usage of plastic beach shoes. Lia was very helpful with guiding me to a one day visit to the island of Samothraki, a two hours ferry ride from Alexandroupoli. Hadn´t it been for her precise instructions we wouldn´t have been able to to see the ancient Paleopolis of the Sanctuary of the Great Gods, nor the Fonia Gorge leading to several waterfalls and crystal clear waters where many bathed, all in one day. The hotel is really fantastic for all who need a rest. Should one need to buy something, the nearest city is Komotini, 30 km away. I would also strongly recommend a visit to Alexandroupoli. All in all, the hotel is a gem, and because it is not too big, there is a feeling of exclusivity about it. I am very glad that I found this hotel and I recommend it warmly.

Second time we are visiting this hotel. Very nice location, extremely friendly people, wide variety and very good food. Very clean and well maintained, daily room cleaning. Swimming pool is quite big and very clean, very good place for kids. Beach is very close and quiet. In the neighbourhood there is a very good taverna offering very good local food.

It was my third time spent in this hotel. As I have mentioned in my first review of King Maron Hotel, I like location of the hotel, so if you search serenity and nature, this is your place. King Maron Hotel is located in a very small village, in which there neither supermarkets, or or shops . Only two fish taverns and that is it. The rooms are very nice, offering a good view. The bed and the pillows were really comfortable. The staff is friendly, very kind and helpful. The restaurant is great, the breakfast was super. The private beach and an outdoor swimming pool were great. Everything is well maintained and clean.

The hotel is nice, clean, family friendly. Breakfast was excellent. A la cart dinner can be improved. We were only able to check in at 6pm, though we were on time for the check in. The hotel let us stay a little bit longer (i.e. 2pm) to rectify this. Other than these, it was a perfect place to stay.

Amazing hotel.

Clean room, delicius food and breakfast everything are well, except location is so far away from alexandrapoli, you should have a car otherwise you can not do anything, there is close beach bar restorant but not to best fish restorant , amazing wiew at the night time

They are wonderful host and so helpful and kind with my dog. Highly recommended!

A great experience with the family the pool is amazing although a little cold, there are a lot of poolside seats.The rooms are clean and normal size.The lobby is big. The personnel are really kind and strongly professional.The breakfast has a lot of options and is really well rounded.Everything we tried was really delicious and fastly cooked. The spa has all the needs for a person. The aesthetic was overall very pleasing and relaxing, there is a lot of greenery, the parking is spacious and comfortable for parking. The bleach is private only for guests of the hotel, the sand is a mixture of stones that don't hurt the feet or are not uncomfortable. From the pool to the main restaurant there is an amazing sea view.There is a tennis court and a kindergarten which is nice if you have younger children.The manager is very friendly and always ate your disposal.This guy never sleeps😄. Overall an amazing experience we will surely come back. I strongly recommend (but don't come often so there is place for us hahah). Sincerely Family Nachevi. Room 207

It is a very comfortable hotel, the room we stayed in was spacious and clean. Hotel staff were extremely kind, especially Miss Lia. We love this place and will come back again and again.

We traveled from the United States to this hotel as we were visiting family in Komotini. Basing everything on the website, we were very pleasantly pleased seeing things and experiencing things in person at King Maron. The hotel is located in a very quite area on the sea. The views are amazing especially from room 105. There were 3 of us and the room was great sized for our family and the large private deck & views were the best! Our 8 year old son enjoyed the pool and pool bar area where he got the best burger! The beach was a beautiful walk own a paved path. The beach and about 15 ft into the water is all stones however after day 2, we got used to it. The water was super clear when we went (end of July -early August) and we enjoyed the easy snorkeling and beautiful sea as a family. The hotel is clean, family friendly, private, and just a real hidden gem! The other families were very nice too. The staff was all very nice as well! We would def stay here again! Comfortable hotel with new equipments and beach access. Room was cleaned every day, open buffet breakfast had many options and sea was very clear. This hotel gave me what I expected (silence, service, sea). Also special thanks to Lia for warm welcome and guidance.

Otel güzel temiz güleryüzlü çalışanları fakat otele gidiş yolu çok tehlikeli maalesef , dar bir orman yolu bir köyün içinden geçiyorsunuz ve 30 dk oradan otele varmak için gidiyorsunuz. Gece dönmek zor ve korkutucu .Biz bayramda hiç yer olmadığı için bu oteli tercih ettik,yolu hakkında kimse yorum yapmamıştı. Herkes şoka girdi bütün türkler bunu konuşuyordu :) Denizi çok güzel otel güzel ama şehre 40 dk uzaklıkta10 dk otobandan gidiyorsunuz,30 dk köy yolu bunu düşünerek rezervasyon yapın . Ben Otelden çıkmam dinlenmek için gidiyorum derseniz sıkıntı yok, ama şehre inip gezmek isterseniz bir düşünün derim . Sevgiler

A beautiful clean hotel, very quiet, very courteous nice staff. Excellent a la carte cuisine, plenty of choice for breakfast buffet. However, a little overpriced for this modest area. Everything was perfect, but the sauna was not in operation on three days from pur stay.

Excellent staff in a paradise! They went out of their way to make you happy. The property was modern and clean and we plan to visit again. The beach was clean and views were breathtaking.

This beautiful building with its remarcable seeview, accompanied by the best service one can imagine is a perfect holiday facility. We spent 10 wonderful days at King Maron and we will be back for sure. Almost all the rooms in the hotel have a sea view which is breathtaking. The rooms are very beautiful with discent terasses. The building is new and looks excelent. The swiming pool is also of a proper size and has a good position. Each morning rich and very fresh food is waiting for the guests. Thi hygiene is at the highest level. But, what makes this hotel exceptional are employees. This people are so polite and helpful and there is no request that they cannot satisfy. Sotiros, the hotel manager, helped me even with an issue which has nothing with our stay at the hotel but with a shop in Alexandropoli. Hospitiality and restourant is perfect. There is not any weak point for family holiday amd relaxing. Let's ask to the fresh sea food options to during Lunch or dinner service. There can be perfect options which one does not exist in menu. Aspacialy, Grilled sea bass and octopus salad were excellent.

Cuando hicimos la reserva pedimos una habitación con bañera y mencionamos que tuvimos nuestro aniversario. Al llegar nos dieron una habitación sin bañera y ya no era posible cambiar porque el hotel estaba completo...El día siguiente el encargado nos ofreció una noche extra, pero era imposible quedarnos ése día. Espero poder utilizar la noche en una futura reserva. El hotel es impecable, un sitio encantador, desayuno buffet muy completo, habitación y cama muy confortable y buen servicio en general. Volveremos sin duda.

Strand for seg selv med krystallklart vann, barnebasseng, jacuzzi, tennisbane gratis, spa- og treningsmuligheter, låne av sykkel og kajakk, stort basseng…….. Utrolig vennlig personalet som prøver å tilfredstille alle deres behov og ønsker. Vi kommer definitivt tilbake!

I usually don’t leave reviews after my stays but I will make an exception for this place. This place is absolutely stunning and a hidden germ, it is extremely clean, well designed and the staff is extremely helpful and professional. I can’t think of any recommendation to make this place better, it is just flawless. Also its location is amazing, far from the crowd and the traffic noise right by the beach. I look forward to staying here again.
