According to the receptionist above, there is a broken heat pump so the sound is very loud. This makes us on the 8th floor in room 803 unable to rest at all. Already complained but the action is no action.

Reviewed Jun 8, 2026Disclaimer: This is my personal review and experience based on my stay at Holiday Inn Express Matraman. I can never complain about the amount I paid for this hotel. It was really reasonable considering that breakfast was included. The staffs were great and friendly. However, the bed looks newly washed but obvious stains that looks like it has been there for sometime now. So, I called the housekeeping department to change my linens which they did only after 35minutes after I called. Yes, 35 minutes after my call only did the staff came to my room to change it. The bath towels where smelly bad -- and they look like they have been very old towels -- not white anymore rather they look like light gray in color -- smelling bad. But the bed was ok and pillows were great too. Overall it wasnt a bad hotel anyway.

اول يوم قدوم دخلت الغرفة مكتومه فيها ريحة سيئية لم تكنس الارضيه ولم تغير ملايات السرير فقط تم ترتيبها وواكياس النفيه فقط يشيل منها الاوساخ والمكيف كان فيه زي الكربون واختفت ثاني يوم طبعا طلبنا منهم تغير مفارش السريروغيروها بسرعه مكان الصابون بلحمام غير نضيف والكرسي يحتاج تجديد او تنضيف جيد الفطوراسيوي بحث مافي كرسون ومخبوزات غير توست ومني برجر حتى علبة الحليب كانت غريبه وملتصق فيها حليب

Breakfast can be improved. The so called fruit juice appeared very watery, full of ice cubes and spuked with sugar. Also for vegetarians, a very limited choices. Still overall ok.

تعامل الموظفين تأخير في تسجيل الخروج والأفطار محدود والغرف ضيقة وحجزت غرفتين لي وزوجتي وطفلين توم بعمر 3سنوات اعطونا غرف منفصلة وجمعيها بسرير منفصل والغرف ضيقة جداً لم يكونوا متعاونين ابداً رغم ان حجزي غرفة بسرير متصل وغرفة بسريرين منفصلين

Reviewed Feb 22, 2026I think I wrote a review recently, but wanted to drop a few names of the fabulous, fabulous staff after my second stay. At reception, I was always taken care of so well by Endang, Yondika, Indah, Yhosuan Ina, Andre and Kamal. They're so lovely and I will miss them. Same goes for the housekeeping staff: Aldo and Axel always made sure to look after me. Hope to see you all again soon!

Please give her a raise and promotion. Even the bag boy/doorman on 29th Jan (didn't get his name) was extremely proactive in getting my luggage In and out of grab rides. 5 star hotel service for a holiday inn, highly recommend

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Breakfast was okay, not the best but was indeed nice to eat. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they also speak English well. One of the dryer in the laundry room wasn't working, it ran but didn't dry, it wasted our time. Overall, decent stay would definitely recommend.
The toilet does not have a door, the floor was a bit dirty. The aircon was way colder than the temperature setting.
